A machine cannot be sentient, that is impossible.

The strength of a computer is it’s ability to perform repetitive tasks at a rate humans can’t match without tiring. Anything you see one do is the result of human effort.

They want you to see it as the scary head between the fireballs, but it is just some guy behind the curtain manipulating the levers. There are many clever ways to use computers, but they are deterministic and don’t have intelligence.
