He’s also one of those Zelensky simps who begs the American government to send even more countless billions to Ukraine, which isn’t a surprise given how his unregistered foreign agent wife used to work for the CIA.

Those employees may want a black Little Mermaid, or an all-female Avengers alternative, or for Indiana Jones to be replaced by an anti-capitalist woman, but they are a very small, very whiny minority. The overwhelming majority of people, at best, couldn’t care less, or at worst, are really tired of ham-fisted woke messaging in their media. Particularly when it’s being added to beloved franchises.

Even the like-minded leftists on social media praising the added wokeness and lambasting those who speak against it don’t actually want it. It’s all for show and you can see that in the box office. Disney has been releasing flop after flop this year and it’s caused them to lose the top spot to Universal for the first time since 2015.

According to Variety:

Disney slid to second place in terms of market share as its 17 new films, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” and “The Little Mermaid” among them, raked in $4.827 billion globally. In a note to press, the studio partially attributed the $80 million difference to the fact that Disney released seven fewer movies than Universal in 2023. It also went on to stress that Disney had the most titles of any studio in the top 10 this year, with four of the highest-grossing global releases and three of the biggest domestic releases.

Although Disney may claim their smaller roster of movies in 2023 is the cause of their dethronement, none of the movies they did release even crossed the billion-dollar mark. Keep in mind, back in 2019, they had seven movies cross the billion-dollar mark. One of those movies, Avengers: Endgame, nearly crossed the three billion-dollar mark and became the highest-grossing film of all time.

No Disney film even made it into the top three highest-grossing movies of just 2023.

Because it’s a private business and wasn’t breaking the law, the at-the-time Mayor of Monroe, Marion Holloway, said there was nothing that could be done about it. But it looks like the restaurant owners got a bit too cocky.

Last year, a group of locals held a small demonstration outside the Monroe City Hall by holding up signs decrying child abuse and grooming. This was done in support of talks within the Monroe City Council to prevent children from attending drag shows. The owners of East Frank Superette and Kitchen decided it would be a good idea to take a photo of the demonstrators and edit it to look like they were, in fact, supporting drag shows and the restaurant itself.

According to Queen City News:

Following the June incident, the lawsuit states the restaurant “doubled down” and again used altered photos without permission on June 25, July 12, July 15, and October 21.

Documents in the lawsuit allege that in each use of the altered photos, they were used to advertise and promote East Frank’s business and its services without permission.

“No Plaintiff, and to the knowledge of Plaintiffs, no other person depicted in the June 13 photograph or any other photograph reference hereinafter, has ever approved or endorsed, or has ever intended to appear to approve or endorse, East Frank’s business or its services,” the lawsuit states.

Court documents state Ted Toms reportedly reached out to the restaurant demanding that the images be taken down and the restaurant continued to use unauthorized photos of Toms and others to promote the business and services.

It was a bold move on the restaurant’s part that isn’t looking like it’ll pay off. But then again, they might not have had a choice but to retaliate like that if grooming children is an essential part of their business.

From pre-school to high school, many of the more than 19,000 children enrolled in schools belonging to the Hayward Unified School District now get to experience the joys of pro-transgender propaganda! The school district, located in the Bay Area (what a surprise), has created numerous lesson plans and resource lists to help ensure its students are thoroughly groomed into the gender identity cult.

What we know as the “natural” family structure is being taught to children as merely “traditional”, and one of many structures. The same is true for gender, with children being taught that the binary of “male” and “female” is archaic and restrictive. What was once normal is being ostracized and what was once obscene is being normalized.

Those who don’t want to embrace these “alternative” ideas on family and gender themselves are at the very least encouraged to support them. And the school district has several guides and resources to help do that.

According to The Daily Wire:

HUSD even created a “Template for Pride Flag Ceremony” which specifies how to properly raise a pride flag for pride month, with speakers addressing the history of the celebration and what it means to be an ally, while staff hands out rainbow bracelets and “take pictures together with allies at the flagpole.”

A separate guide was created by the district to inform teachers of “SWAG Ideas for Pride Month.” It reads “Here are some suggestions of possible swag you can provide and offer by invitation to students or staff to use to show their allyship” before suggesting “pride/ally ribbons” and “mini pride flags.” Staff members are also encouraged to buy themselves t-shirts that read “protect trans kids.”

I’m not sure if this should go in my “Why are people still living in California?” category or my “Why are people still sending their kids to public school?” category.

Before changing his name to Kelly McSean and insisting he was a woman, the man formerly known as Larry Bemboom molested an eight-year-old girl by forcing her to perform oral sex on him. He wasn’t even in high school at the time. When he did get to high school, he was sent to counselling for trying to get other boys to perform oral sex on him in a school bathroom. Not much later, he was placed in sex offender treatment for exposing himself to a younger relative, but while he was in treatment, he molested yet another underaged girl.

According to Reduxx:

Between the ages of 19 and 30, McSean would commit several more sex offenses, primarily against minors. He told the evaluating psychiatrist that he repeatedly raped a 16-year-old girl in 1995, as well as engaged in oral sex with her 11-year-old brother. He also stated that he moved in with two girls aged 14 and 16 in 1998, raped a 15-year-old girl, and molested a 14-year-old.

At age 30, he was arrested for sodomizing a 12-year-old girl after giving her marijuana. He received a suspended five-year sentence and three years probation. McSean said that while in the community, he committed a number of sexual assaults for which he was never charged, including molesting children as young as 8 at the Salvation Army, and raping unidentified male and female children.

I didn’t even get to the incest, the kidnapping, or that one time he raped an African-American woman while telling her his ancestors owned slaves and that she should call him “master”. It’s a testament to the degeneracy of the gender identity cult that I can find common ground with a website that describes itself as feminist.

But the story doesn’t end there. After being imprisoned for some of his countless crimes, escaping the prison, and being caught three days later, Mr. Kelly McSean has been held at the the St. Francois County Jail in Missouri. It’s there that he alleges he suffered traumatic mistreatment, sexual harassment, and, get this, sexual abuse at the hands of the staff.

I’m sure you’re assuming the boys at the prison just couldn’t keep their hands off such a beautiful woman, but the “sexual assault” he described was just a routine strip-search. The issue was, presumably, that it was done by male officers instead of female ones. You know, because he’s a woman and it was inappropriate for his “breasts” and penis to be exposed to men instead of women, like him.

But worst of all was the fact that he was consistently “demeaned” and “misgendered” while in custody. The officers wouldn’t even give him access to gender-affirming treatments and items such as women’s underwear. How barbaric!

According to Reduxx:

McSean has alleged the various “mistreatments” have caused him anxiety, sleep issues, nightmares, high blood pressure, a los of appetite, migraines, crying spells, and more physical and psychological issues. He has requested damages ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 per defendant and per concern. In one of the filed complaints alone, the total requested damages exceed $14,900,000.

One of McSean’s lawsuits was filed with two other inmates as co-Plaintiffs, both of whom were involved in McSean’s escape from the jail in January – Aaron Sebastian, a sexually violent predator who sodomized a young girl, and Dakota Pace. McSean identifies both of the men as “friends” of his. In their lawsuit, the three criminals allege mistreatment at the hands of St. Francois County Jail staff.

Truly, these women in the prison system have it rough.

Obviously 20 million is hardly a “few”, but compared to China’s population of 1.4 billion, it ‘s barely a blip. Still, that’s more Christians than most European countries, these days, and whereas Europe is becoming less religious, China is becoming more so. And that’s just on the low end. If China actually does have 130 million Christians, that means its Christian population is larger than any European nation’s total population. That also puts its Christian population in third behind Brazil, with 180 million, and the United States, with 213 million.

But a 110 million gap between the low and high ends is ridiculous even when you take into account China’s massive population. That’s because counting Christians in China is actually pretty damn hard due to the differences between Eastern and Western perspectives on religion. It’s too complex a topic to really get into, but the gist is that a person in China can practice Christianity and/or worship Christ without necessarily considering themselves a Christian.

Another reason it’s hard to count Christians in China is that the Chinese government really, really doesn’t like them.

According to the Pew Research Center:

Counting Christians in China is difficult for several reasons. Officially, only churches authorized by the government are allowed to operate. But, in reality, many Christians worship in unauthorized venues known as “underground churches” (dixia jiaohui 地下教会) or “house churches” (jiating jiaohui 家庭教会). These Christians may be reluctant to reveal their identity. Likewise, members of the Chinese Communist Party, who are prohibited from holding a religious affiliation, might not disclose their Christian affiliation.

Just this week, the South China Morning Post reported that “Beijing’s top political adviser”, Wang Huning, has called on Christian groups within the nation to ensure strict management of their religious affairs. What “strict management” means in this context is that Christians keep Xi Jinping happy by altering their religion to be more Chinese, more patriotic, and more socialist.

According to the South China Morning Post:

He called on the leaders to guide Protestant figures and believers to be patriotic and to enhance their identification with the nation, Chinese culture, the party, and socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Leaders of Christian groups “should adhere to the direction of sinicisation of Christianity” and “interpret the doctrines that conform to the development and progress requirements of contemporary China, the core values of socialism and the excellent traditional Chinese culture”, Wang said.

First Republic Bank, Silicon Valley Bank, and Signature Bank all collapsed, and while they were merely regional American banks, they were still prominent enough to warrant an emergency response by the Federal Reserve. Outside the United States, the Swiss government had to broker the acquisition of Credit Suisse by UBS in response to the former’s collapse.

Even with these government interventions, however, twenty of the world’s largest banks collectively cut nearly 62,000 jobs in 2023, according to the Financial Times. This was done to keep up profits in the face of elevated interest rates and much higher caution by banks following the mini-crisis. Although that number is not as bad as the 140,000 job losses during the Global Financial Crisis, that’s hardly comforting.

Being “not as bad” as the worst financial disaster since the Great Depression doesn’t mean much. It’s like saying what’s going down in Israel and Ukraine isn’t so bad because World War II was worse. Especially when you consider that the number of job losses may be substantially higher than that because the Financial Time’s figure doesn’t include job cuts from smaller, regional banks.

And this whistleblower isn’t some random, anonymous person on Twitter. Back in September, they testified before the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.

According to the House Oversight Committee:

The whistleblower, who presents as a highly credible senior-level CIA officer, alleges that of the seven members assigned to the CIA team tasked with analyzing COVID-19 origins, six officers concluded that the virus likely originated from a lab in Wuhan, China. The CIA, then however, allegedly offered financial incentives to six of the experts involved in the investigation to change their conclusion in favor of a zoonotic origin.

After the testimony, four Republican Senators, led by Rand Paul (R-KY), sent a letter to CIA director, William J. Burns, requesting information regarding the whistleblower’s allegations. The Heritage Foundation also filed a FOIA request for the information, and the CIA’s refusal to comply with it is why the think tank’s Oversight Project is currently suing them.

According to The Daily Caller:

Heritage is suing the CIA in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and its lawsuit lays out five claims of relief against the CIA.

Heritage’s original FOIA request sought records from the creation of the discovery team and all records shared among team members associated with COVID-19’s origins. In addition, the conservative group demanded records of any financial bonuses and communications between discovery team members and officials from numerous agencies across the federal government.

The lawsuit asks the court to compel the CIA to produce all non-exempt records under Heritage’s prior FOIA request and to cover Heritage’s costs incurred.

This lawsuit comes at a time when more and more people, both inside and outside the government, are finally admitting that COVID most likely came from a lab in Wuhan. A theory that for years has been dismissed as conspiracy.

It then proceeded to strategically highlight how totally American it is with all its American employees and American users and the American businesses that use it! The irony, of course, being that TikTok is owned by a Chinese company, ByteDance, and has been continuously accused of violating the privacy of its users pretty much from its inception. Accusations it denies despite ever-growing evidence to the contrary.

According to the company itself:

Today, we are also proud to launch the U.S. Data Security (USDS) site aimed at providing transparency into our commitments and answering common questions around our efforts to safeguard data.

Unfortunately (for China), American voters aren’t buying it, according to a recent poll by RMG Research which was shared exclusively with the Daily Signal.

This is welcome news considering a recent poll from Pew Research Center which shows that 14% of adults in the United States regularly get news from TikTok, a number that increases to 32% for adults between the age of 18 and 29. And those numbers are only growing.

Director of the Heritage Foundation’s Tech Policy Center, Kara Frederick, claims that the Chinese government uses TikTik to harvest American user data and then exploits it for their own benefit.

According to the Daily Signal:

What to do about it? Frederick concluded the federal government should impose a wholesale ban on TikTok in the United States.

The new poll found 54% of American voters agree with the recommendation. The number jumps to 58% when respondents were asked if TikTok could be used by Chinese government to interfere in U.S. elections.

Regardless of if TikTik can be, should be, or will be banned, and to what extent, I think it’s obvious to any Americans with a bit of sense that we shouldn’t be using it.

Not his humor, certainly. I still don’t find him funny. But it’s that same provocativeness and vulgarity, paired with a surprising amount of intellect, that’s made him such an effective political commentator. He’s not a man who tolerates bulls**t and is very good at breaking down the hypocrisy and lies he sees around him. Particularly in media and politics, which are effectively one and the same, these days. Media bias is of particular interest to him, especially now.

Someone being labelled a “conspiracy theorist” doesn’t mean much to me. It gets thrown around so often that it barely even registers in my mind. Unfortunately, it’s much the same with sexual assault allegations. I’m one of those people who assumes at least half the powerful people in media and politics are sex pests anyway. But combine the two, and it’s a different story. When I see someone accused of being a conspiracy theorist and a sex pest, then I take notice.

You see, I’m also one of the people who believes the harder the media tries to crack down on someone, the more you should pay attention to what they’re saying. It’s funny, perhaps even suspicious, how celebrities who speak out against the media tend to get labelled as “crackpots” and suddenly stop appearing in anything bigger than a made-for-TV Hallmark movie. Even funnier, and more suspicious, is how many of them also tend to have people from their past come from out of the blue to simultaneously accuse them of sexual assault.

Russell Brand, as I’m sure you’ve heard, is one such person. The “conspiracy theorist” label has done little to actually harm him because he doesn’t rely on old media like film or television as much as most celebrities. Instead, he maintains an extremely strong following on the Internet (his YouTube channel has 6.71 million subscribers at the time of writing) where he can operate largely independently and is harder to blacklist.

The “sex pest” label, on the other hand, is a bit trickier for him to deal with.

According to The Christian Post:

. . .a joint investigation by The Times of London and Channel 4 revealed that four women alleged the comedian had sexually assaulted them at the height of his career between 2006 and 2013. At the time, Brand was a BBC and Channel 4 presenter.

One report from The Sunday Times alleged Brand assaulted a then-16-year-old girl — who was over the age of consent in the U.K. — during a brief and allegedly “emotionally and sexually abusive” relationship, while another woman told The Times that Brand had raped her at his Los Angeles home in 2012 but she did not file a report with the police.

These allegations have resulted in his management company dumping him, his publishing company dumping him, the BBC removing some of his content from circulation, YouTube demonetizing his account, a women’s and children’s charity cutting ties with him, and a lawsuit. Keep in mind, this is all based entirely on allegations that, despite a second police investigation into him, have yet to be proven. He even voluntarily submitted himself to police questioning.

But if there’s a small glimmer of goodness in all of this, it’s that the experience seems to be bringing the lifelong hedonist closer to Christ. He’s been expressing his interest in Christianity for some time now after he finally got sober. He recently uploaded an image on Facebook of the Bible and The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis, a book which The Christian Post says:

. . .addresses the question of why a good God allows people to suffer and explores how human suffering fits within the broader context of Christian belief.

I genuinely hope things turn out well for Russell Brand. We need more people with voices like his calling out the media. Regardless of how things turn out, however, I hope he continues on his journey to find Christ. I still don’t think he’s funny, though.
