“Early voting was required to end statewide on Friday, Nov. 1,” the campaign indicated. “At the last minute several heavily Democrat counties announced they would open their offices over the weekend to receive mail ballots. This is illegal, so we immediately filed a state court lawsuit.”
Defendants named include officials in seven Georgia counties: Chatham, Fulton, Dekalb, Cobb, Gwinnett, Clayton and Clarke.
According to the filing, Republicans say: “In order to maintain competitive parity with its Democratic opponents, the RNC must shift resources this weekend from other mission-critical efforts to chase absentee ballots and encourage voters to return them to the Defendants’ newly opened offices. If the RNC doesn’t shift those resources, it will suffer a competitive disadvantage. If it does shift those resources, it must sacrifice other activities that are critical to its mission of turning out Republican voters and electing Republican candidates. Regardless, the Defendants’ illegal actions harm the RNC’s ability to pursue its core activities.”
The campaign said: “In a win for election integrity, the counties retreated from plans to keep drop boxes open over the weekend, but we continue to fight the illegal re-opening of the centers in state and federal court.
“This is a clear, partisan violation of the law intended to boost Democrat efforts in Georgia. With just two days until our country’s most important election, it is critical for officials to follow the law and run the election in a fair and transparent manner.”
“These actions by some Georgia counties do nothing but undermine the security of our elections and drive up mistrust in the process. Georgia must take immediate action to protect the vote.”

]]>Cruz appeared on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo on the Fox Business Network, as Bartiromo noted that “Kamala Harris has two completely different messages when it comes to the war on Israel.”
She explained that when Harris is in Pennsylvania talking to Jewish voters, the Democrat stresses she’s going to make sure Israel has the right to defend itself. But when in Michigan, Harris tells voters she’s going to ensure there’s a ceasefire and the hostages taken by Hamas terrorists are released.
When asked what Harris’ leadership would look like on Israel if she wins the White House, Cruz replied:
“Kamala Harris is lying to people in Pennsylvania. And we know that because she’s not just some random person off the street. She’s been the sitting vice president for four years. And Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have been the single most anti-Israel administration this country has ever seen.
“It’s interesting when she did a ’60 Minutes’ interview she was asked who’s the biggest enemy America has, and she came back with Iran, which is a very good answer. And bizarrely enough, ’60 Minutes’ didn’t follow with the obvious response of, ‘Well then why have you given them a $100 billion? Why do you allow them today to sell 2 million barrels a day of oil? Why are you funding Iran, and Iran provides 90% of the funding and 90% of the funding to Hezbollah?’ They didn’t follow up with that question.
“But her record has been clear that if, God forbid, Kamala Harris is president, I think it gets much, much worse for Israel. Joe Biden’s a puppet. He doesn’t know is going on. He’s barely aware of what’s surrounding him. Kamala Harris is a true believer. I have served with her since the day she was elected to the Senate. She is hard left. Her voting record is to the left of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. That ain’t easy.
“I served with Bernie and Elizabeth, there’s not much room to their left. And Kamala Harris’ voting record is virtually identical to my opponent Colin Allred. Colin Allred is Kamala Harris. They are both hard-left, open-border, anti-Israel radicals who are desperately trying to cover up their record. They are hiding in Joe Biden’s basement together. And they’re counting on millions and millions of dollars from George Soros to try to convince the American people their voting record is different than it was.
“By the way, Kamala’s message in Pennsylvania, she actually meant it. You out to ask yourself, ‘Why didn’t she pick Josh Shapiro appear as her VP? The answer is in today’s Democrat Party they could not stomach a candidate who was Jewish. Shapiro might well have won the state of Pennsylvania for her. But the pro-Hamas wing of the Democrat could not imagine, could not tolerate such a thing.”
In his own close Senate race against Allred, Cruz lamented how Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has not given “a penny” to help Cruz win reelection.
“We are on our own, and we are in the middle of the single most expensive Senate race in the entire country,” Cruz said. “Chuck Schumer has been explicit I’m his No. 1 target, and Chuck Schumer and George Soros, they are spending more than $100 million dollars trying to beat me. … The Washington swamp doesn’t support me.
He then urged viewers to help him out financially with just two days before Election Day.
“Please go to tedcruz.org right now so we can fight back. We’re going to win in Texas but we need your help to win. If you are in Texas on Election Day, please, please, please come out and vote. Bring your friends, bring your family, bring anyone you can. This is all about turnout at this stage.”

“Wow, that is incredible, if he were to take New York,” Bartiromo responded, as she noted large crowds of Trump fans waiting outside Madison Square Garden in New York City for a Trump campaign rally scheduled for 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
New York has most often voted for the more liberal candidate in U.S. elections, and has been a safe haven for Democrats since the 1988 contest, with former President Ronald Reagan being the last Republican to take the Empire State in 1984, when he won a 49-state landslide.
Bartiromo then asked Tuberville, who also sits on the Senate Armed Services Committee: “Do you think you could do a Republican sweep here?”
“I think we could – it’s going to be very close,” he replied.
“Again, I don’t know much about the House. I think the Senate – I think we’re going to get 51-54 seats in the Senate, just the work that I’ve seen over the last four or five months. And, of course, President Trump, he’s run a very the strong campaign the last three weeks, Maria.”
“He’s got to win. Our country is in such tailspin. The people that say they might not vote for Trump is the young people, and they’re voting against their future. I don’t understand that.
“I’ve been trying to tell all these young people across the country your future is at stake if you don’t elect somebody that believes in America, and believes in the Constitution like President Trump, you’re gonna have a tough time in life. So, looking forward to working, hopefully, with a lot of these young kids and getting them to vote for President Trump.”

]]>“Christians are not tremendous voters in terms of percentage,” Trump said Wednesday at a Believers and Ballots Faith Town Hall in Zebulon, Georgia. “If they were, we would never lose an election.”
The president was responding to a question about a recent survey by George Barna at Arizona Christian University which found that “as many as 104 million people of faith are unlikely to vote in this upcoming election – and among those, 32 million self-identified Christians who regularly attend church won’t cast their ballots.”
“I think we’ve really energized a lot of people this time because they’ve seen how bad it is. This last four years has been, it’s been a horror show, an absolute horror show.”
He continued: “I think we’re gonna see those numbers goes way up. I’m almost sure of it, and I’m even hearing that from, statistically, because you see what’s coming in. And by the way, record numbers of votes are coming in. That’s supposed to be a good thing for us. … We want to make it too big to rig.”
He indicated the current administration has been targeting Christians for persecution, with some groups especially hard hit.
“I don’t know what’s going on with Catholics. Why are they after Catholics? The Catholics are being persecuted. Schools boards are being persecuted, parents.”
Trump said Democrats in power are “not a nice group of people.”
“They’re vicious people,” he said. “People are being persecuted, people of religion. And you saw little bit of it during COVID, where you’d have a service outside, everybody’s five yards away and they’re coming and arresting people. It’s very bad. But I think you’re gonna see a big change. I think you’re gonna see it now.”
He indicated religion is “like the glue that holds it all together.”
In addition to Christians, Trump noted gun owners tend to avoid voting.
“People that own guns, they vote in a very small proportion. If they ever voted, you could never lose. And in fact, the Democrats, the radical left, used to fear them and now they don’t fear them any longer because they don’t vote to the extent that they should.”
Trump was thankful for the presence of God in his personal and family life, saying: “When you believe in God, it’s a big advantage over people that don’t have that.”

He was answering a question from Nancy, a mother of a Georgia Bulldog college student who was on campus the day schoolmate Laken Riley was murdered by an illegal alien.
Mentioning the sanctuary city of Athens, Georgia, Nancy asked: “How quickly can you remove those threats to our society so our children can go out on a run as they rightfully should be able to do in a park in the daytime by themselves? It should not be like that.”
When Trump said he would put an and to all sanctuary cities, Faulkner asked: “Is that an executive order you do that with?”
Trump responded: “I can do it with an executive order. I’ll have to do it with an executive order. You can do it with the Aliens Act of 1798, we can do things in terms of moving people out. We can move them out of the sanctuary cities.
“You have some liberal crazy people that they fight – you know, normally you like to understand the opponent. Like in business, you want to understand what is the opposites, why do they want this? Why do they want open borders? Why do they want to do this? Why do they want sanctuary cities? Sanctuary cities are really meant for one thing. To protect criminals. That’s what they’ve become.
“We’re going to end all sanctuary cities in the United States and we’re gonna go back to normalcy. And we’re gonna have law and order.

]]>A sworn statement by an ABC News whistleblower exposing network bias favoring Harris continues to be in focus regarding “assurances” to the Democrat’s campaign days before the event.
Now David Muir, anchor of ABC’s “World News Tonight” and co-moderator of the debate, is defending his performance during the matchup, as ratings for his evening news broadcast have plunged some 12% in the aftermath.

“ABC News has offered assurances to the Harris campaign that if there is significant cross talk between Harris and Trump, the network may choose to turn on the mics so that the public can understand what is happening, the moderator would discourage either candidate from interrupting constantly and the moderator would also work to explain to viewers what is being said, according to the source familiar,” CNN reported.
ABC News insists it did not break debate rules, initially stating: “ABC News followed the debate rules that both campaigns agreed on and which clearly state: No topics or questions will be shared in advance with campaigns or candidates.”
A network spokesperson later told the Daily Beast: “Absolutely not. Harris was not given any questions before the date.”
The X account that posted the purported affidavit, @DocNetyoutube, reacted to ABC’s denial, stating:
Yesterday, ABC made a statement regarding the whistleblower affidavit. The only thing ABC said was that they did not give the questions or the topics to the Harris campaign. Well, nobody accused ABC of doing that. ABC has been accused of the following:
1.) Giving the Harris campaign sample questions, similar to the actual questions that would be used for the debate.
2.) Agreeing to give Harris a smaller podium and other arrangements to minimize the size differential between Harris and Trump.
3.) Fact Checking would be done for Donald Trump and NOT Kamala Harris
4.) Harris campaign gave questions to ABC that were not to be included in the debate. Including questions regarding her time as DA in SF and her time as California Attorney General.Out of all these accusations, the fact checking of Trump has been admitted to. The podium and split screen appearance to keep the height differential have already been proven, ABC did NOT deny communications with the Harris campaign without the Trump campaign being present and they will never deny that because they cannot. According to the whistleblower, ABC executives made numerous phone calls with the Harris campaign without including the Trump campaign on the call. Everything the whistleblower has submitted has been proven except for sample questions. There will be another tweet later today announcing action to be taken against ABC and the affiliates of ABC.
As WND reported Sunday, Sept. 15, an ABC News whistleblower released an affidavit punishable by perjury specifying allegations that the network made numerous assurances to the Harris campaign to favor the Democratic nominee for president.

The sworn statement indicated: “It was agreed that Donald Trump would be subjected to fact-checking during the debate, while Kamala Harris would not comparable scrutiny. This was widely known throughout the company that Donald Trump would be fact-checked. In fact, various people were assigned to fact check observations it was perceived candidate Trump would make during the debate.
“In fact, [the] Harris campaign required assurances that Donald Trump would be fact checked. This was done via multiple communications with the Harris campaign whereas the Trump campaign was not included in the negotiations. To my understanding, any rules negotiations and conversations pertaining to the debate should have had both the Trump and Harris campaign involved, the Harris campaign had numerous more calls regarding the debate rules without the Trump campaign aware or on the call.”
The statement also says: “The Harris campaign was provided with sample questions that, while not the exact questions, covered similar topics that would appear during the debate.”
“Furthermore, the Harris campaign imposed serious restrictions on the scope of questioning, including:
- No questions regarding the perceived health of President Joe Biden.
- No inquires regarding her tenure as attorney general in San Francisco.
- No questions concerning her brother-in-law, Tony West, who faces allegations of embezzling billions of dollars in taxpayer funds and who may be involved in her administration if elected.
The whistleblower claims to have “observed a pronounced bias against Donald Trump within ABC News. Employees expressing favorable views towards him experience significant concerns about potential retribution.”
On Tuesday, Muir called the controversy over ABC’s performance “just noise.”
“All of the noise that you hear afterward about you know, ‘Which candidate won the debate, did the moderators win or lose?’” Muir told the audience on ABC’s “Live With Kelly and Mark.”
“That’s just noise. You all know that. The most important thing to remember is you all have the power.”
He said it was the “duty” of him and co-moderator Linsey Davis to discuss issues of importance to Americans, mentioning their inquiries about the border crisis, economy, reproductive rights, Afghanistan and the peaceful transfer of power.
“These are all really important issues, the issues of our time, really, and I always say as a moderator, what the candidates decide to do with that time – you can ask the questions, but they’ll answer with whatever they choose to answer with, and you have to be ready for whatever might come your way, even the most unexpected of moments,” Muir said.

Muir’s appearance on Tuesday’s talk show was perhaps prompted by a 12% drop in ratings for his nightly news broadcast since the debate.
Fox News reports: “Muir’s ‘World News Tonight’ averaged 6.7 million viewers on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the three episodes following the debate, after averaging 7.6 million in 2024 leading up to the debate.
“The 12% drop in viewers for ‘World News Tonight’ is more significant than slight declines ‘CBS Evening News’ and ‘NBC Nightly News’ saw when comparing the three episodes following ABC’s debate to the year-to-date totals, although Muir’s newscast remained the No. 1 broadcast evening newscast.”
ABC News fact-checked Trump at least five times during the Sept 10 debate, but preferred not a single fact-check for Harris.
Davis told the Los Angeles Times last week that her intense fact-checking of Trump was influenced by the June 27 debate on CNN that prompted President Joe Biden to exit the 2024 race.
“People were concerned that statements were allowed to just hang and not [be] disputed by the candidate Biden, at the time, or the moderators,” Davis told the paper.
On Sunday, five days after the debate, Martha Raddatz of ABC News finally admitted Harris was wrong when she said during the debate there is “not one member of the United States military who is in active duty in a combat zone in any war zone around the world.”
“Our fact-checkers found that to be false,” Raddatz said.
“There are currently 900 U.S. military personnel in Syria, 2,500 U.S. troops in Iraq. All have been under regular threat from drones and missiles for months. We also have action in the Red Sea,” Raddatz added. “Also, every single day, the Navy SEALs, Delta Forces special operators can be part of any sort of deadly raid.”
Neither Muir nor Davis alerted their 70 million debate viewers to the egregious falsehood by Harris.

]]>The account in the Bible is found in three locations – 2 Kings 19:35; 2 Chronicles 32:21; and Isaiah 37:36-38 – and describes how King Sennacherib of Assyria suffered a divine defeat as angel was directly dispatched by God to slay the enemy troops.
“That night the angel of the LORD went out and struck down one hundred eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians. When the people got up the next morning – there were all the dead bodies!” (2 Kings 19:35 CSB)
“and the LORD sent an angel who annihilated every valiant warrior, leader, and commander in the camp of the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria returned in disgrace to his land. He went to the temple of his god, and there some of his own children struck him down with the sword.” (2 Chronicles 32:21 CSB)
The conflict is said to have occurred, some 2,700 years ago, with the the Assyrian Empire operating from 1,365 to 609 B.C.
While there has been physical evidence of neither the battle nor supernatural event, archaeologist Stephen Compton now says modern mapping techniques have helped him discover compelling evidence of the epic fight.
Compton posted a news release stating:
A peer-reviewed paper in the prestigious journal Near Eastern Archaeology reports the first-ever discoveries of ancient Assyrian military camps. Created circa 700 BC during military conquests across the Middle East, they mark the expansion of the Assyrian Empire, which became the prototype for the subsequent Persian, Greek, and Roman empires.
The initial discovery came from a scene carved into the stone walls of the Assyrian King Sennacherib’s palace commemorating his conquest of Lachish, a city to the south of Jerusalem. Matching the landscape in this image to features of the actual landscape (using early aerial photographs of Lachish prior to modern development) created a virtual map to the site of Sennacherib’s camp. This led to ruins similar in size and shape to the camp in Sennacherib’s relief. An archaeological survey of the site found no evidence of human habitation for 2,600 years, followed by pottery sherds from the exact time of Sennacherib’s invasion of Lachish, after which it was again abandoned for centuries. Moreover, the ancient Arabic name for the ruins was Khirbet al Mudawwara, “The Ruins of the Camp of the Invading Ruler.”
The Survey of Palestine had investigated a very similar ruin to the north of Jerusalem and found it consistent with a military camp. They hypothesized that it had been built by Titus during the later Roman invasion of Jerusalem. However, Roman military camps were always rectangular, whereas this was oval, the characteristic shape of Assyrian camps. The hill it occupied was known in Arabic as Jebel el Mudawwara, “The Mountain of the Camp of the Invading Ruler.”
The Daily Mail reported: “Before Compton discovered the Assyrian site, researchers had only encountered one other ancient military campsite in the area.
“The secondary site was occupied during the Roman siege of Jerusalem and its layout gave researchers a way to compare the layout of its military camp to the Assyrians.
“‘Roman military camps were always rectangular, whereas this was oval, the characteristic shape of Assyrian camps,’ Compton wrote …
“The methods Compton used to find Sennacherib’s camp site has led to the discovery of other Assyrian military camps.
“‘In some cases, it has also been possible to use the newly discovered camps to locate the sites of ancient cities that were known to have been besieged by the Assyrians but whose locations were unknown or uncertain,’ Compton wrote.”

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, responded to the videos, saying: “Israel expects the Russian legal authorities to safeguard the well-being of all Israeli citizens and Jews wherever they are and to take strong action against the rioters and against the wild incitement being directed against Jews and Israelis.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister’s Office stated: “The State of Israel views with utmost gravity attempts to harm Israeli citizens and Jews anywhere.
“The Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Security Council are monitoring the development of events in southern Russia, in the Dagestan district. Israel expects the Russian legal authorities to safeguard the well-being of all Israeli citizens and Jews wherever they are and to take strong action against the rioters and against the wild incitement being directed against Jews and Israelis.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the riot in his rival state in a post on X: “Appalling videos from Makhachkala, Russia, where an angry mob broke into the airport searching for Israeli citizens on the flight from Tel-Aviv. This is not an isolated incident in Makhachkala but rather part of Russia’s widespread culture of hatred toward other nations, which is propagated by state television, pundits, and authorities. The Russian foreign minister has made a series of antisemitic remarks in the last year. The Russian President also used antisemitic slurs. For Russian propaganda talking heads on official television, hate rhetoric is routine. Even the most recent Middle East escalation prompted antisemitic statements from Russian ideologists. Russian antisemitism and hatred toward other nations are systemic and deeply rooted. Hatred is what drives aggression and terror. We must all work together to oppose hatred.”

The riot is taking place three weeks since Muslim terrorists belonging to Hamas launched a surprise attack against Israel on Oct. 7, the Last Great Day of the Feast o Tabernacles, a holy day mentioned in the Bible.
At least 1,400 Israelis have been killed since that day.

“Sources familiar with the situation said that the self-styled anti-slavery activist, who appears to be preparing for a Senate run, invited women to act as his ‘wife’ on undercover overseas missions ostensibly aimed at rescuing victims of sex trafficking. He would then allegedly coerce those women into sharing a bed or showering together, claiming that it was necessary to fool traffickers. Ballard, who was played by Jim Caviezel in the hit film Sound of Freedom, is said to have sent at least one woman a photo of himself in his underwear, festooned with fake tattoos, and to have asked another ‘how far she was willing to go,’ in the words of a source, to save children. These sources requested anonymity because they fear retaliation.”
The report continued: “The information from the sources with direct knowledge of OUR corroborates an anonymous letter that’s been circulating in the Utah philanthropic community for the past several months, which accuses Ballard of sexual harassment. VICE News first reported on the letter in July; the journalist Lynn Packer published it in full on Sunday.
“‘Several weeks ago, an OUR employee who accompanied Tim on an undercover operation filed a sexual harassment complaint against him with OUR’s HR department,’” the letter, which was sent this summer to donors to anti-trafficking causes, reads. ‘This resulted in an extensive internal investigation into Tim and his individual operational tactics and led to more women speaking up as part of the investigation process.
“‘It was ultimately revealed through disturbingly specific and parallel accounts, that Tim has been deceitfully and extensively grooming and manipulating multiple women for the past few years with the ultimate intent of coercing them to participate in sexual acts with him, under the premise of going where it takes and doing ‘whatever it takes’ to save a child.’”
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, of which Ballard is member, reportedly released a statement to FOX13 News and other media, calling Ballard’s behavior “morally unacceptable.”
But Ballard questioned the authenticity of that statement.
“I don’t believe the Church did this,” he said in the video. “I truly don’t. Can you imagine that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints would publicly condemn one of its members?”
Fox13 also reported the LDS Church “has removed articles promoting Ballard and the nonprofit he founded, Operation Underground Railroad (OUR).”
“Tim is fully convinced that he is supposed to be the ‘Mormon Messiah and lead people back to the church,” the statement reportedly indicated.
Fox13 noted of VICE’s probe: “The documents reportedly outline how prosecutors believe Ballard communicated with a psychic to speak to the prophet Nephi ‘to get intel’ on how to rescue children.’”
Ballard says in the video: “I’m as human as anybody. But how is it that my decisions and my actions which led to the rescue of over 7,000 women and children and the arrest and imprisonment of over 5,000 traffickers and pedophiles, you tell me how I’m the bad guy in that story. How is it possible?”
“I pray to God the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints wasn’t part of this.”
When asked for a detailed request for comment by VICE News, a spokesperson for Operation Underground Railroad stated:

O.U.R. retained an independent law firm to conduct a comprehensive investigation of all relevant allegations, and O.U.R. continues to assess and improve the governance of the organization and protocols for its operations.
To preserve the integrity of its investigation and to protect the privacy of all persons involved, O.U.R. will not make any further public comment at this time.
O.U.R. is confident in its future as the leading organization committed to combatting sex trafficking and saving children who have been captured and sold into slavery.

]]>“Could there actually be a dark mystery behind ‘Barbie’?”
These are just two of the questions raised by best-selling biblical author Jonathan Cahn in a new video probing the origins of the blockbuster film starring Margot Robbie as the popular doll come to life.
“The fact that Hollywood could take that doll and turn it into an attack on half of the human race, on marriage, on life itself is a sign of just how sickened our culture has become,” says Cahn in is video titled: “The Mystery Of Barbie, Ishtar, and Smashed Babies!”
“This has to be the most widely distributed anti-man movie ever made,” he explains.
“Never before has there been a major motion picture directed at children, girls, to the effect of indoctrinating them against men. Just a few years ago this motion picture could not even have been made as a children’s movie, but it shows you how rapidly our culture is changing, or rather, deteriorating.”
He says the dialogue of the movie itself gives away the radical feminist messaging.
“It comes from the lips of Barbie herself. She says: ‘By giving voice to the cognitive dissonance required to be a woman under the patriarchy, you robbed it of its power.’”
Cahn opines: “What kind of human communication is that? It’s not. It’s certainly not normal human communication. It’s the kind of sentence you find in a handbook of radical feminism or a film made by Josef Stalin’s revolutionary council or the arts for the propagation of Marxist doctrine.”
“It’s not about fun. If it were, you would never have such words and phrases and sentences.”
“It’s aimed at your children, particularly at your daughters. And focusing it all on a doll is a brilliant way to propagandize or brainwash children.”
Cahn said one of the most dangerous aspects of “Barbie” is its humiliation of males in society.
“The movie depicts men as evil or dangerous. At best, they’re presented at the beginning just as jerks, useless, inferior creatures with no real purpose. …
“Now imagine a movie aimed at boys that depicted women as inferior, useless and evil creatures that had to be conquered, and boys or men had to separate themselves from them. What would be the reaction? And yet Hollywood is vilifying half the human race, and it’s OK?”
“The separating of man and woman in this movie is not an accident any more than it’s an accident that one of the Barbies in the movie is actually a transsexual or that Barbie alludes to gay masturbation among the Kens in a movie aimed at children. What kind of culture pushes this on children? A sick culture.”
Cahn detailed the very opening of the “Barbie” movie image by image, noting it matches on Stanley Kubrick’s science-fiction classic “2001: A Space Odyssey” as seen in the following video:
In “Barbie,” girls are shown in a barren setting playing with baby dolls as mothers would care for their infants.
“The girls appear unhappy, somber or miserable as if they’re engaged in an act of slavery that they’re forced to be part of,” Cahn says.
He says the girls then act out what apes did in “A Space Odyssey” when they awoke to find a mysterious monolith in their presence.
“It’s central to the scene and to the message: The girls are as apes,” Cahn explains.
“In Kubrick’s film, the apes represent the primitive. So in ‘Barbie,’ girls who play with baby dolls are represented as primitive, unenlightened. In other words, motherhood is primitive. Women as mothers, mother and child, it’s a primitive, unenlightened, negative state. Again, the doctrines of radical feminism.”
He mentioned another key similarity between the two films.
“As the ape lifted up the bone to kill an animal or an ape, the one girl lifts up her baby doll that she’s been caring for. And what does she do? She smashes the baby doll against another baby doll and against the rocks. The head of the baby cracks open, explodes. You see the decapitated ahead of a baby against a rock.”
Cahn does not mention the Holy Bible itself provides similar baby-smashing imagery in the book of Psalms, where the heads of the children of evildoers are smashed against rocks: “Happy is the one who takes your babies and smashes them against the rocks!” (Psalm 137:9 NLT)
The author noted how America’s original Barbie doll is actually based on a German doll named Bild Lilli that was hardly appropriate for children. The New Yorker Magazine in the 1950s called Lilli a “sex doll.”
“Yes, Barbie was based on a prostitute,” says Cahn, who then probed deeper into her pagan connections.
“What does Barbie have to do with an ancient Mesopotamian goddess? I wrote of this key in ‘The Return of the Gods.’ When a civilization turns away from God, it doesn’t become neutral or empty. When it turns away from the Spirit of God, other spirits enter into it.”
“One of the most ancient of these spirits that I reveal in the book is that of a goddess known in the Bible as Ashtorah or Ashtoreth.”
This goddess was also known by the name of Ishtar in Babylon.
“Ishtar was the goddess of sexuality, sexual immorality. She was always depicted as a young woman, she was depicted as a young woman on her own, independent,” Cahn said.
“She was often depicted as taking roles traditionally assumed by men. She was not the goddess of marriage. She was rarely linked to marriage; her ways were generally averse to marriage or motherhood. She was the goddess of women who were overall not married. Her ancient literature was pornographic.”
Cahn also notes that just as Barbie famously has her boyfriend Ken at her side, the pagan goddess Ishtar is well-known for her boyfriend Tammuz.
“Tammuz was always a secondary character, always in the shadow of Ishtar in effect, an accessory to Ishtar’s mythology,” Cahn said.
“Ishtar dominates and subjugates her lover. She even destroys Tammuz. In the movie, ‘Barbie,’ Ken is vanquished along with the other men.”
