Other prominent federal agencies involved in natural resources management include the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (the Corps).

While rents are still up in nominal terms, many renters are getting better deals than ever, with a 40% decline in the real price of rental properties when adjusted for inflation since last October, said Federico González Rouco, an economist at Buenos Aires-based Empiria Consultores.

Before that, they preferred to keep them empty.

In Buenos Aires—a city dubbed the Paris of the South for its broad avenues and cafe culture—many apartments long sat empty, with landlords preferring to keep them vacant, or lease them as vacation rentals, rather than comply with the government’s rent law.

In 2022, there were some 200,000 empty properties in Buenos Aires, up 45% from 2018, according to a report by Cedesu, a Buenos Aires-based policy group that focuses on urban development. Finding an affordable apartment under the rent-control law was difficult.

Ironically, Harris is the descendant of the notorious slaver Hamilton Brown on her father’s side. Her father is Afro-Caribbean, and her mother is Indian.

The National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) called on Vice President Kamala Harris to apologize for these remarks.

The NAPO’s Tuesday letter was featured in a press release by the Trump campaign on Wednesday.

“Kamala Harris has shown once again that she simply has no actual knowledge of what modern American police officers do, and worse, doesn’t seem to even care for the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect American communities. We call on her to retract and apologize for her comments equating policing to lynching and slavery,” Michael McHale, the president of the NAPO, said.

“She has yet to explain her support for defunding the police and, even worse, her support for the so-called ‘Minnesota Freedom Fund’ that put persons arrested for violent crimes back on the streets as Minneapolis burned during the George Floyd riots,” he added.

The Secretary of the Army lied and claimed he made calls to the National Guard, but he did not.

Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser were warned about the security situation before January 6th. Despite that, they refused troops at the US Capitol that day for political reasons.

Chris Wray’s FBI also refused to notify the Trump administration and his cabinet secretaries that they believed there could be violence like the mass protests at the Capitol that took place that day.

John Solomon from Just The News revealed Capitol Police were first warned about possible violence at the January 6th protests two weeks before the planned rallies.

They allowed the event to get out of hand so they could call it an insurrection and charge and arrest hundreds of people, mostly people who were let in by police or who walked in and out.

“I was concerned by the event that unfolded that day in the United States Capitol. As a Federal Officer of the United States Secret Service and former state trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol, my heart goes out to all law-enforcement officers, sisters, and brothers that held the line that day to restore public order to the chaos.

“I’m here today with my Counsel, Laughlin, McKillen, and Dan Meyer …has advised me, beginning with my role as a confidential source of the Select Committee to investigate the January 6 attack on the United States Capitol.

“When my confidentiality was breached, it was Dan who intervened to ensure I was protected as a military whistleblower on January 6. First, I want to explain my role on January 6. I was assigned as aide de camp, the personal assistant to major general, William Walker, the Commanding General of the DC National Guard.

“It was my only second day on the job. Please focus on alleged facts about found in the November 16, 2021, Department of Defense Inspector General’s multi-disciplinary review into the DC National Guard response and Department of Defenses role that day.

“I can say unequivocally that the inspector general’s review is riddled with inaccuracies, misstatements, perhaps false flags and narratives regarding how critical Pentagon senior officials responded when our Republic was under great stress.

“For instance, during a conference call at 2:31 pm with members of the United States Army, US Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police, the Department of District of Columbia government, and USC Service Uniform Division, US Army Lieutenant General Walter Director Pyatt, and US Army staff and the Army” Lieutenant General Charles Flynn, Director of the Chief of staff of Army Operations were on the call. Also on the call was Colonel John Lewis, Executive Officer to the Secretary of the Army.

“The Army falsely denied that General Flynn was ever on the call. This is false, immaterial on its face.

“Lieutenant Flynn was on the call and even participated in discussions. The Defense Inspector’s review also rounds language papering over the fact that Lt. Gen. Pyatt, Lt. Gen. Flynn, while on the call, discussed how they did not like the optics. That is a direct quote.

“And they stated it would be best military advice to recommend to the Secretary of the Army. Ryan McCarthy to deny request from Command General William Walker to deploy the DC National Guard and aid US Capitol Police and restore restoration order and border liberty on Capital Hill.

“In addition, former Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy claims he was on a 2:31 PM call and spoke on that call. This is false unless he was in the room, shadowing the call and he did not speak nor identify himself. He was not on the call.

“He was in route to Washington DC Regional Office at the Federal Investigations to support that concept of operation plan for January 6.

“He went on to claim that he called and spoke to Major General Walker at least twice, ordering the deployment in the DC National Guard. This is also false. At no time did General Walker take any calls, nor did we ever hear from the Secretary about any ongoing conference calls or the secure video teleconferencing throughout the day.

“This I know because I was with the Command General the entire time recording events throughout the day.

“Major General Walker told my staff officers to stand by with respect to deploy to the Capitol Hill. Only at 5:09 PM in the early evening, which I wrote down in my wheel book was the DC Guard given orders to deploy, move to assist Capitol Police.

“We arrived too late with one American lay dead with other sisters and brothers injured, including federal and local law enforcement officers. We were ready and standing by. I know if we were ready to deploy immediately when General Walker made the request, the National Guard could’ve helped in civil disturbance to restore order quickly.

“The Army National Guard motto was Always Ready, Always There. The DC National Guard was ready to help assist Capitol police, but we were not allowed to do our job due to paralyzed decision-making by Acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller and Secretary of the Army, Brian McCarthy. This led to a crisis in federal leadership in the Pentagon. This led to a crisis in federal leadership at the Pentagon and delayed the DC  by three hours and 19 minutes. Thank you for the opportunity to appear before you today and articulate the facts as they happen.”

Others say it’s to allow the deep state to take over. It could be both.

“You might have heard that the Republicans are close to losing their lead in the House. This worry gets bigger with news that Congressman Mike Gallagher is stepping down on April 19. After he leaves, Republicans will barely have more members than Democrats. Let’s explain why this is important with some numbers.

1. There are 435 seats in the House of Representatives.
2. A party needs at least 218 members to control the House.
3. If there’s a tie, with each party having 217 members, and one person is independent (not in a big party), that independent person has a lot of power. So, what’s the situation in the House now?
4. Republicans currently have 219 seats.
5. Democrats have 213 seats.
6. When Ken Buck, a Republican, leaves his job on Friday, Republicans will have 218 members. After Gallagher leaves, they will have 217.
7. There’s going to be an election to fill a Democrat’s empty seat on April 30. This will likely add another Democrat to the House.
8. By the end of April, Republicans will have 217 members, and Democrats will have 214.
9. It seems like Republicans have a slight edge with three more members than Democrats. But, 217 plus 214 is 431, not the total 435.
10. This means about 217 votes are needed to get things done, showing how important it is for all Republicans to stick together.
11. Traditionally, a few Republicans don’t support their own party’s plans, which is a problem.
12. The bad news for Republicans is that Gallagher is leaving when it’s too late to have a quick vote to replace him. This means his seat will be empty, a loss for Republicans. According to Wisconsin law, if he resigns before the second Tuesday in April, a special election would be held to replace him and bring in another Republican from the Red District. If he resigns as planned, his seat will remain vacant until after the November elections.
13. The good news is that there will be three special elections in May and June to fill some empty Republican seats, which might help them a bit.
14. But this help is only until June. If Republicans don’t stay united and even one or two members break away, Democrats could take over the House and pass a resolution barring Trump from the 2024 presidential election, determining that he is an insurrectionist. The resolution will pass in the Senate, where Democrats have a slim majority of 51-49.

Whatever it is, it’s not good. They are leaving the House with a majority of one.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to expel Rep. Gallagher so he can be replaced immediately. He’s resigning before his term ends and when he can’t be replaced until the election – April 19, leaving the majority in danger. She said every Republican leaving now is putting the majority in danger.

They should expel Gallagher so his constituency can vote for someone to take the seat quickly. She said his departure date is deliberate.

Bradley is Nathan Wade’s former law partner, who left the firm in 2022. The judge ordered him to testify last week when his claim of attorney-client privilege fell apart.

Bradley was caught lying when attorney Ashleigh Merchant sent his texts to the computer before him as he testified. The texts proved he said plenty about their relationship, which he texted began in 2019.

When caught red-handed, he said, “Oh, dang,” giving himself away like the dog caught eating the birthday cake. Later, he came up with the fantastical excuse that he was only “speculating” when he gave out those details.

Unfortunately for the trio of potential liars, a new witness has come forward, and if he’s telling the truth, they are proven to be perjurers.

A waiter called Meghan Kelly and said he served Bradley and Wade five weeks ago, which means Bradley lied when he said he hadn’t spoken with Wade in two years. If true, he lied under oath.

On Tuesday, Terrence Bradley testified that he hadn’t spoken to Wade in two years. The waiter can be checked. A third person was present.
