FOX 32 has obtained copies of an eviction notice filed in Cook County Court against Henyard and her boyfriend, Kamal Woods.

Henyard has rented a home in the 14600 block of South Harvard for the past three years, but the property owner said she and Woods are behind on rent and owe more than $3,300.

The notice also stated that Henyard has refused to allow an inspection of the property.We reached out to Henyard’s attorney, who responded via text, asserting that the story is false and that no rent payments have been missed.

“The worst of the worst,” Abbott said of the gang.

Earlier this month, Abbott announced strike teams and thousands of dollars in rewards for information leading to the identification and arrest of members of Tren de Aragua. Leaders in law enforcement say they’re trying to deny the transnational gang any foothold in Texas.

“What we know from this organization is that it is very well run, kind of like a corporation,” said retired Homeland Security Agent Ari Jimenez.

Jimenez has seen the gang explode in major cities across the country. He says this criminal enterprise usually starts with crimes that fly below the radar, including organized theft and sexual exploitation.

“Next is going to be weapon-involved crimes,” Jimenez said. “It’s gonna be a murder for hire. It’s going to be a shoot out. And, before you know it, they own and control the criminal element in the city.”

Intelligence documents obtained by the I-Team show self-proclaimed members, and those bearing the gang’s distinctive tattoos featuring a nautical compass, an eye, a rose and a clock face have been arrested around the city’s Migrant Resource Center for crimes like theft, human trafficking and possession of fake government documents.

Some, including higher profile members, had been previously arrested entering the country illegally and were subsequently released by border authorities. […]

Thinking it was emanating from a nearby diesel truck, they got into the car and began driving but immediately, Velasco knew something was wrong. Her truck was only three years old, so she was surprised anything would be malfunctioning.

“We drove across the street and my car started sputtering,” she recalled.

She eventually pulled over and that’s when she discovered someone had drilled into her truck’s fuel tank to empty the vehicle.

“I just looked under and sure enough, there was a hole and it was leaking gas and then I looked up and I saw another hole,” she said.

Velasco called the police and had her truck towed away. She was left with costly repairs in the aftermath — pay $4,000 upfront to fix the damages or pay a $1,000 deductible with an increase to her insurance premium. She chose to fix her truck by claiming her insurance. She was also left without a car for a week which meant relying on others to drive her three children to school and at times, missing out on shifts at her workplace.

“It’s hard times,” Velasco said. “We’re living in times where everything is inflated. Trying to raise a family and trying to do things right. You’re not getting anywhere because you got these criminals on the run and they’re just doing whatever they want.”
