But now a report by the Epoch Times warns that diseases riding the flood of illegals into the United States actually could threaten the nation’s food supply.
That tuberculosis, for example, already has infected cattle in Texas, the report said. And worse could be coming.
The report noted with “unfettered illegal immigration – some 9 million encounters since 2021” – there’s simply no option for screening for “unwanted diseases.”
It was Dr Michael Vickers, a veterinarian for 50 years and member of the Texas Animal Health Commission, who said the tuberculosis cases in dairy cattle were just the start, and “it’s only a matter of time before U.S. agriculture experiences a fresh disaster on a grand scale,” the report explained.
“These people are just destroying our country. And our food supply is going to be a real critical issue,” he confirmed in an interview with the Times.
He said in recent years “thousands” of cattle in Texas have been slaughter after being infected with TB, and not just TB, but drug-resistant TB, through contact with illegal aliens.
In 2015 one disaster hit a herd of about 10,000 cattle in Castro County and in 2019 another calamity hit a herd of 13,000 in Sherman County, the report said. The Times revealed tests confirmed the strains originated outside of the U.S.
The infections are spread because, officials explained, illegal aliens are often hired to care for the herds, actually doing the milking many times.
Vickers told the Times the USDA bought the Castro herd and slaughtered it. In the later case, TB tests continue with infected animals removed.
He said, in the report, 12 illegal aliens working with those herds also were found to be infected. The problem is that rules intended to screen people who are carrying such infections out were “sidelined” by Biden.
Ammon Blair, of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, told the Times, “We’re really just mass releasing these people into the United States that could be carrying multiple diseases that aren’t even checked.”
The report said there also have been spotted outbreaks including screwworm, tick fever, malaria-like infections and worse. The diseases can arrive as larvae riding on illegals, in luggage, on backpacks and more.
The report explained the problem: “President Joe Biden rescinded former President Donald Trump’s ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy, under which would-be asylum-seekers stayed in Mexico while awaiting adjudication on their immigration court case. Instead, most are released directly into the United States. That has allowed wholesale importation of illnesses that illegal immigrants may have.”
And it noted there have been cases in which illegal aliens brought into the U.S. chicken pox, mumps, measles, leprosy, COVID-19, and sexually transmitted diseases.

Biden’s popularity has been underwater for years. He’s viewed as the reason for the 17% inflation Americans have paid since he took office. And he’s blamed for the wide-open southern border through which he’s allowed millions of illegal aliens to enter. He’s blamed for massive spending on green climate ideology. His major accomplishments have been to promote transgenderism and abortion for all everywhere.
Then there’s the recent special counsel report investigating his willful decision to take and keep classified government documents. Robert Hur recommended against charging Biden, because of his declining mental capabilities.
The question then arises, according to Higgins, “What’s a Democrat to do?”
The problem is obvious: “President Biden’s poll numbers seem set in quicksand. Now the special counsel’s justification for not recommending charges against Biden for having ‘willfully retained and disclosed classified materials’ is damning: Biden’s memory has such ‘significant limitations’ that the special counsel believed he could not convince a jury that Biden has a ‘mental state of willfulness’ that a serious felony (or, presumably, serving as president) requires.”
Higgins, however, notes the DNC rules likely will save the day for the party, assuming there are enough “sticks and carrots” to push Biden out of the way.
They’ve already done it. “Remember the New Jersey ‘Switcheroo’ way back in 2002, when Democrats turned a sure loss of a Senate seat into a win by swapping out their losing candidate at the last minute, overriding a state law that said it was too late in the cycle for such a switch?”
She explained Biden is just “a placeholder” being used to suppress possible competition to “a much better bet,” Michelle O.
Of course Obama has said she doesn’t want the job, but the column points that was before Biden redefined the position as “a four-day workweek, consisting of one social obligation per day, and everything else delegated.”
And she warned people could go for it. After all, they went for Barack Obama twice.
“The switch could be done at the convention – but that requires 300 delegate signatures, and would open the door to a lot of politicking over several weeks by other potential candidates,” she noted. “But should Biden be incentivized to suddenly declare a new health issue that leads him to announce a week or two after the convention that he will continue his term but will not be running, suddenly we have one of those crises that should not be wasted.”
“DNC rules that apply are actually rather simple. Article Three, Section 1(c) of the Charter & Bylaws of the Democratic Party says ‘The Democratic National Committee shall have general responsibility for the affairs of the Democratic Party between National Conventions … This responsibility shall include filling vacancies in the nominations for the office of President and Vice President.’”
And why an Obama?
“It would make no sense for Biden to remove himself from the ticket in order to simply elevate Vice President Kamala Harris. The point of the whole exercise is to win. Michelle Obama is the only potential candidate who could safely replace a black woman on the Democrat ticket without causing a major political disruption inside a core Democrat voter group.”
Further, “And just recently an entire special edition of Life magazine about the inspiring Michelle Obama parked itself for $14.99 at your nearest supermarket checkout line. The cover may say ‘The Post-White House Phenomenon,’ but everything post-White House is confined to five paragraphs in the first introductory pages – while the rest of the 112 glossy pages are one-third backstory and two-thirds Michelle in the White House, looking presidential.”
She noted in London, betting on American politics is legal, and more bets have been placed recently on Obama moving into the White House than Biden staying there.

]]>Millions have flooded into border states since then and officials there repeatedly have called on Biden to close the door, halting the flow, as President Donald Trump had done largely with policies and fencing.
But now, after thousands of those aliens have been moved from border states to longtime sanctuary locations like New York City, one aide to Mayor Eric Adams has become an activist on the issue.
Insisting that Biden shut off the stream.
A report at the Gothamist explains Ingrid Lewis-Martin, Adams’ senior adviser, said, “We need the federal government, the Congress members, the Senate and the president to do its job: close the borders.”
She said, “And until you close the borders, you need to come up with a full-on decompression strategy where you can take all of our migrants and move them throughout all of our 50 states.”
The charges mark “an escalation in the rhetoric” from New York City officials on the migrant crisis. Officials there estimated more than 116,000 have arrived in New York City since April 2022.
Conservatives in Congress already have made the same claim multiple times. Specifically they’ve asked for a return of Trump’s “remain in Mexico policy” that kept, until it was canceled by Biden, asylum-seekers from entering the country until their cases were processed in court.
The aide’s comments also came just as New York’s lawyers are challenging a longstanding right-to-shelter law, and contended the city “should not have to shelter all of these immigrants.”
Estimates are that the city last year spent some $2 billion to care for the newcomers.
Fabien Levy, the city’s deputy mayor for communications, later posted on social media a response: “To be very clear, and as @NYCMayor has said over and over again, of course this nation should continue to welcome immigrants — both those seeking asylum and those who are not. The U.S. will always do its part to be a country that takes in those seeking refuge from war, discrimination, & strife. But as we’ve stated repeatedly, we need a real decompression strategy at the border so that all communities across the U.S. can do their part in providing the compassion & care NYC has provided to more than 118,000 asylum seekers since last year.”

]]>But ironically, such a grim future won’t come about because of “catastrophic climate change,” as global-warming zealots claim. Rather, the earth will become the pitiful and desolate habitat for mankind they predict, with massive suffering and death – if their genuinely catastrophic agenda is actually implemented.
Dr. Patrick Moore, co-founder of the environmental group Greenpeace, recently said regarding the elites’ insistence on reducing greenhouse gases to “Net Zero”: “If they actually achieve Net Zero, at least 50% of the population would die of hunger and disease.”
Likewise, energy expert Alex Epstein, in his critically acclaimed book, “Fossil Future,” writes: “Today’s proposed policies to rapidly eliminate fossil fuel use would, if fully implemented, have truly apocalyptic consequences – making the world an impoverished, dangerous, and miserable place for most people. And even if fossil fuel elimination policies aren’t fully implemented,” he adds, “… even widespread restrictions on fossil fuel use that fall far short of elimination will shorten and inflict misery on billions of lives, especially in the poorest parts of the world.”
Epstein, founder of the Center for Industrial Progress, doesn’t claim fossil fuels and CO2 emissions don’t impact climate in any way. “I totally acknowledge,” he writes, “that they have contributed to the 1-degree Celsius warming we’ve experienced over the last one-hundred-plus years.”
Question: When the scientific case for catastrophic global warming and its resulting global apocalypse consists largely of a 1-degree rise in temperature over more than 130 years – in a world where global temperatures are widely acknowledged to have risen and fallen spontaneously over the ages – why are all the governments of the Western world obsessed with catastrophic climate change as their unifying principle of governing, public policy and virtually all of life?
Before addressing the astonishing truth underlying what has become, in reality, a full-fledged false religion created and exploited by global elites who want to rule the world, let’s first consider those segments of society most captivated by this apocalyptic cult.
Strangely, while claiming to follow “the science,” global warming cult followers tend to comprise the very population demonstrating the least regard for actual scientific truth in other areas of life and public policy:
* Many believe a baby inside its mother’s womb is not a human being at all – at least, not until the very moment he or she is born, when that child instantaneously morphs into a person of great value, with all the God-given and constitutional rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. One minute earlier, the child was a glob of worthless tissue, equivalent to a tumor that could be ripped into pieces, extracted and disposed of as medical waste. This is an entirely accurate, if graphic, representation of the prevailing belief of today’s Democratic Party, with 46 Senate Democrats having voted just last year in favor of legalizing abortion up until the very moment of birth.
* This same population segment tends to believe that seriously mentally ill men who claim they are women actually are women – and vice versa. Worse, they defend the practice of grooming thousands of emotionally fragile teenagers into undergoing horrendous amputations and other harmful, irreversible “treatments” in pursuit of gender transitions that are not only scientifically impossible, but insane.
* During the COVID-19 pandemic, despite ever-increasing scientific data regarding the virus and its scandalous origins, unprecedented negative effects of the experimental “vaccines,” and the proven safety and effectiveness of lifesaving medications like Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin, these are the people who tended to ignore the actual science and instead side with lying, power-addicted federal bureaucrats and greedy pharmaceutical companies.
* What about the news media’s obsession with climate apocalypse? Hint: “If it bleeds, it leads.” Starting well over a century ago, in 1895, the New York Times scared its readers to death with warnings of a coming “new ice age.” This media-driven hysteria lasted into the late 1920s, when the Times suddenly switched gears and warned “the earth is steadily growing warmer.” That lasted until 1954, when Fortune magazine led the way with a warning that another ice age was coming. Although the New York Times stoked “global warming” fears into the late 1950s, by 1975 it was back to “new ice age” hysteria. A few years later, the Times reverted back to panicking its readers over global warming of an “almost unprecedented magnitude.”
* More troubling, how about all the scientists who have joined the cult of the climate apocalypse? Why would they go along with an overblown, politically driven hoax? The answer, sadly, became clear during the COVID era, when many scientists, doctors and hospitals adopted the questionable views and medical practices of highly politicized and dishonest federal agencies like the FDA and the CDC. Rather than “following the science” themselves – as a few courageous and principled doctors did, and who often were seriously persecuted for their integrity – most doctors and scientists lacked the requisite courage to take a stand and risk losing their positions or even their careers. After all, the saying goes, “I have a family to support.”
* Of all the groups swept up into climate hysteria, the easiest to understand would be the millions of young people traumatized and indoctrinated daily in the government (“public”) school system about near-term, human-caused catastrophic climate change. Brainwashing a child into fearing the future and loathing the adults supposedly responsible for destroying their planet is egregious child abuse, as epitomized in the case of Greta Thunberg. Though burdened with autism, OCD and eating disorders, this very troubled 16-year-old Swedish girl somehow was presented to the world as the voice of the younger generation and an expert on climate science, scolding the entire adult population in her famous U.N. speech. “How dare you?” she thundered. “You have stolen my dreams and my childhood.” Multiply Greta Thunberg by millions, and one gets a glimpse of what government education and the news media are doing to the next generation.
‘Some kind of god’
But what about the real villains, the people who know the global warming religion of near-term apocalypse is a cruel hoax, and exists simply as a means to a greater end that has nothing at all to do with the weather?
The global elites – the super-wealthy climate-change avatars who fly into Davos in their mega-gas-guzzling-and-polluting private jets while scolding everyone else for driving cars, and who dine on steak and lobster while admonishing the rest of the world to dine on insects – these are the high priests of the global apocalyptic climate cult.
To understand them, it’s essential to dispense with the old paradigms of “liberal,” “progressive,” “democratic” and other feelgood but increasingly meaningless ideological labels. The true leaders of this movement are sociopaths whose only ideology and value system is personal wealth, power, privilege, honor and glory for themselves, and who are obsessed with ruling planet earth. They want to be gods. So far, only billionaire leftist George Soros has had the nerve to actually describe himself, to the news media, as “some kind of god.”
