Awhile back, I went into the bank to deposit a check, and the teller said, (paraphrasing) “We can do that at the drive-thru”. I also wanted a few rolls of coins. I thought, right then, if they ever say that again, I will change banks. I haven’t had a teller tell me that since. The odd part is, it is a smaller building, and the teller, at the counter, also does the drive thru from the counter. They use computer screens, rather than being physically at the window. I also use the bank right across the street,(for other things) and told them what the other bank had said. They couldn’t believe it.

It’s like the banks don’t want to pay tellers anymore in a way to make more money for the bank.
