The streets of Roosevelt Avenue in Queens, which includes neighborhoods like Corona, Jackson Heights, and Elmhurst, have become a hub for brazen sex solicitation.

Migrant prostitutes line the blocks, soliciting openly, while pimps maintain control over the area, leaving local business owners in fear.

One local shopkeeper, who spoke with Fox News, shared his concerns and revealed he had been threatened for speaking out.

Israel carried out operations Tuesday targeting high-ranking Hezbollah officials using pagers that were rigged with plastic explosives, following it up by detonating walkie-talkies used by the Iranian-backed radical Islamic terrorist group Wednesday. Cuomo, who feuded with Ocasio-Cortez on social media over her criticism of the Israeli operation, said she wrongly accused Israel of a “war crime” on air Friday evening.

“She [Ocasio-Cortez] started by accusing Israel of a war crime for what they did to members of Hezbollah in Beirut, and then, asking for an investigation, accused them of a war crime, asked for an investigation,” Cuomo said. “Then she decided to get truthy and show that her claim that the exploding pagers were ‘clearly’ in violation of U.S. policy.”

“‘This attack clearly unequivocally violates international humanitarian law, undermines U.S. efforts to prevent a wider conflict,’” Cuomo continued, quoting from the congresswoman’s post. “And then she said it violates U.S. policy. Clearly. Israel is not one of the United States, so they don’t follow our laws or rules. Second, if the representative was suggesting by that comparison that the United States should therefore not support Israel, good luck with that. And then, here’s what really bothers me about this salvo: She’s dead wrong. This is why you don’t accuse and then go in search of a crime.”

Cuomo then noted Ocasio-Cortez quoted a Department of Defense manual on the law of war, but added additional information.

“Here’s the part that she left out, oddly, the next section after the one she cited, ‘The use of mines, booby traps, other devices is subject to the same rules and principles that govern the use of other weapons to conduct attacks,’” Cuomo read from the manual. “The rules include a prohibition against indiscriminate use of mines, booby traps and other devices. Indiscriminate. What does that mean? It means at all feasible precautions shall be taken to prevent civilians from the effects of mines, bobby traps and other devices, taking into account all circumstances ruling at the time, including humanitarian and military considerations.”

“The war manual even specifies an example of when booby traps are not prohibited. It would not be prohibited to improvise a booby trap, for example, to retard an enemy advance. What does that mean? Could mean a lot of things,” Cuomo said. “One of them certainly is a group of bloodthirsty terrorists coming from you. So, did she not read that part because she’s not a lawyer or not thorough or did intentionally not want to be fair? One is misfeasance, not doing your job well. The other is malfeasance, doing it badly on purpose.”

Cuomo also criticized the reported vandalism of Ocasio-Cortez’s office, but also said Ocasio-Cortez should have condemned threats against Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida or the assassination attempts against former President Donald Trump.

“She had nothing to say about her colleague Anna Paulina Luna when that’s exactly what happened to her and she said nothing about the assassination attempts against former President Trump,” Cuomo said. “So what do we know? Clearly, she does not value her opponents as humans the way she does herself.”

Since the start of 2023, this small clique of eight far-Left socialists have managed to tack $224 million worth of pet projects onto the spending bills meant to fund core government operations.

One doesn’t need three guesses to start landing on some of the themes addressed repeatedly by their pork-barrel spending. The list includes advancing “environmental justice,” spreading so-called “equity,” aiding illegal immigrants and salvaging bits of the unpopular “Green New Deal” championed by Squad-leader Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D.-N.Y.).

These are the priorities of a new kind of progressivism – neo-Marxism, really – that has grabbed hold of the Democratic Party’s bullhorn. But every dime of it has been aided and abetted by Republicans.

Earmarks had been banned for a decade before the House GOP held a secret vote to join Democrats and reinstate the practice three years ago.

Since then, billions have flowed to vanity projects, frivolous or downright silly projects, employers of spouses, and items that should be funded at the state or local levels where officials better understand the community’s needs.

The late Sen. Tom Coburn (R.-Okla.) called earmarks the “currency of corruption” for a reason – the projects are too often self-interested, self-aggrandizing, wasteful, or all three.

It’s bipartisan corruption that’s spending America straight into bankruptcy.

Last year’s spending bill was proof: our auditors at OpenTheBooks.com, an organization I founded and lead, found $16 billion worth of earmarks in the $1.7 trillion fiscal 2023 year-end omnibus bill, and seven of the top 10 biggest earmark culprits were Republicans.

This year, it was $15.7 billion across 8,051 earmarks in two “minibus” measures in March 2024.

But in order for a Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) to stuff $50 million into the University of Alabama’s endowment fund (a university that hosts his Senate archive), we also get gems like these from Squad members:

• $1 million to build “a network of intergenerational, trauma-informed waterfront green spaces,” won by Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.). The project had previously won $792,000 more in a 2022 earmark. Do we ask the obvious? How exactly does trauma dictate a park design?
• $1 million for the San Antonio College Empowerment Center, which runs an Undocumented Student Support Program to help immigrants enroll in the school. The sponsor is Rep. Greg Casar (D-Texas), who is closer to the illegal immigration crisis than most, but wants to create a college education magnet for them.
• $850,000 to create jobs and affordable housing near George Floyd Square in Minneapolis, won by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.). The square was reportedly a “no-go” zone for police amid the riots following Floyd’s death. Now, Omar saysthat “added to the stress faced by the community and increased the need for support and stability in housing and commerce.” In other words, federal taxpayers need to step in and clean up the damage.

Following last week’s 2 a.m. passage of the final six spending bills for this year, the Squad’s total ticked up from $218 million to $224.1 million—all borrowed against our enormous national debt. The two “minibus” packages this month alone contained 215 earmarks from these eight individuals.

In a constant cycle of crises and 11th-hour, late-night votes, a perverse Mary Poppins method of governing has taken hold again. A spoonful of corrupt sugar (earmarks) makes the medicine – massive, wasteful trillion-dollar spending bills – go down.

There’s just one problem. We can’t afford more spending with the national debt exceeding $34 trillion. Instead, we need a bold plan to stop Congress from bankrupting this country.

We can start with banning earmarks. This election year, Americans deserve to know whether their members support earmarks. Let’s see who’s in or who’s out on earmarks.

Congressional leaders need to give taxpayers the courtesy of a public vote on this madness.

Oh, so now we’re going to talk about the “market of sweethearts” in a certain New York neighborhood, huh? Well, let’s dive right into this dumpster fire of a situation.

In a neighborhood that’s supposedly a “melting pot” of cultures, you’ve got a bunch of illegal street vendors selling stolen goods, and a thriving prostitution scene that’s so obvious, even a blind person could see it. And guess what? The local politicians, including the lovely Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, are just turning a blind eye to the whole thing. How progressive!

But don’t worry, folks! The neighborhood is represented by a bunch of progressive politicians who are totally on top of things. They’re so busy fighting for social justice and equality that they’ve completely forgotten about the rampant crime and illegal activities happening right under their noses.

But hey, at least they’re trying to issue more vendor permits, right? Because that’s exactly what this neighborhood needs – more people selling stolen goods and blocking the sidewalks with their makeshift flea markets. And let’s not forget about the lovely Assembly member Catalina Cruz, who’s all for decriminalizing prostitution. What could possibly go wrong?

And just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse, we have a Republican candidate, Ramses Frías, who’s running for the Assembly District 39 seat to “reclaim the streets.” Good luck with that, buddy. You’re going to need it.

So, there you have it, folks. A neighborhood in New York that’s basically turned into a Third World country, complete with illegal vendors, rampant prostitution, and progressive politicians who couldn’t care less. But hey, at least they’re all about social justice, right?

Ocasio-Cortez currently serves as the ranking member of the Energy and Mineral Resources Subcommittee, establishing her as a prime candidate to head the committee and take steps to advance a progressive climate agenda in the event Democrats take control of the House, according to E&E News. The New York congresswoman recently reintroduced the Green New Deal — which has been harshly criticized as radical and expensive by Republicans since she first introduced it in 2019 — as progressive allies Rep. Ro Khanna of California and Sen. Edward Markey of Massachusetts introduced an accompanying health care package, dubbed the Green New Deal for Health.

“A lot of our victories have already begun, for example, by breaking off some of the pieces [of the Green New Deal] and incorporating it in different areas of must-pass legislation including the Inflation Reduction Act,” Ocasio-Cortez told the outlet. Her office, alongside that of Democratic Sen. Ed Markey of Massachusetts, maintains an ongoing document that tracks the ways in which the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law have implemented core tenets of the Green New Deal.

Thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, President Joe Biden’s signature climate law, the U.S. is expected to undergo a significant drawdown in coal-fired power even as China continues to aggressively bring new coal plants online. Analysts at Goldman Sachs now estimate that the bill will cost roughly $1.2 trillion in subsidies for green energy projects over the next ten years, more than three times the government’s initial estimated cost of $370 billion.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman of New York — the ranking member of the House Science, Space and Technology Subcommittee — told the outlet that he never believed that what was once a fringe element in the Democratic Party “would ever become inside-baseball people.” A Democratic takeover of the House in 2024 would see Bowman, as well as other climate-focused progressives like Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri and Khanna, in high-ranking positions alongside Ocasio-Cortez, E&E News reported.

“The key to Congress is you just have to win, and then you have to stick around a bit,” Khanna, the former chair of the House Oversight and Reform Subcommittee on the Environment, told E&E News. “And the more progressive classes we get, and the more progressives stick it out in the House, the more power we’ll build.”

If she chaired the Energy and Mineral Resources Subcommittee, Ocasio-Cortez would have oversight powers over energy production, mining and drilling on federal lands. The Biden administration has in recent months taken sweeping action to block mining and drilling projects, while simultaneously encouraging conservation efforts on federal lands.

The office of Rep. Ocasio-Cortez did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.

One parody account got a lot of attention recently. @AOCpress posted some pretty hilarious fake retorts in the idiotic voice of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and she took notice. So did Elon Musk. It prompted feigned concern from the from and more laughter from the latter.

FYI there’s a fake account on here impersonating me and going viral. The Twitter CEO has engaged it, boosting visibility.

It is releasing false policy statements and gaining spread.

Friday, the account mysteriously vanished. It wasn’t banned as such actions show the account is “suspended” at the original URL. This simply says the account doesn’t exist.

Famed Trump-supporting Twitter account and podcaster “Catturd” was apparently involved with the account, claiming that he helped craft some of the hilarious Tweets. Now, he’s promising to reveal what happened and revive the account himself.

This evening a group attempted to disrupt the Listening Forum Event at the boys and girls club in Astoria, Queens where AOC was speaking to local community. The protest group was there to speak up against AOC and protest against crime rates going up in NYC, against the LGBTQ+ community and Mandates, among other topics.

It may have just been the two of them representing the protest, but by the end of their rants they had many in the audience applauding them.

The second protester, who stood and took over after the first protester either finished or got escorted out, said, “You voted to mobilize and send money to Ukrainian Nazis. You are a coward. You’re a progressive socialist? Where are you against the war mobilization? He’s telling the right truth.”

Later, he noted, “I believed in you and you became the very thing you sought to fight against. That’s what you’ve become. You are the Establishment and you are the reason why everybody will end up in a nuclear war unless you choose to stand up right now and denounce the Democratic Party. Will you do that?”

The protesters rightly note that despite running as an outsider, Ocasio-Cortez has increasingly sided with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi on important issues, including sending massive amounts of aid to Ukraine to prolong the war and draw NATO closer to a nuclear showdown with Russia.

The Democrat-Socialist Congresswoman isn’t happy about plans to build a tent city for illegal aliens in her district. According to NY Daily News:

The progressive congresswoman, who’s had a simmering beef with the more moderate-minded mayor for months, offered the rebuke in a brief interview with the Daily News on the steps of City Hall following a press conference with Adams on an unrelated topic.

“I think we can get to a place with a better solution here,” Ocasio-Cortez said when asked about the tent facilities being built in the Bronx’s Orchard Beach parking lot to house upward of 1,000 Latin American migrants.

Ocasio-Cortez said she also ”very much“ sides with ”the sentiment” of Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson, who raised a number of concerns about the Orchard Beach site earlier this week, including poor transit access and susceptibility to flooding.

Ocasio-Cortez, who hasn’t previously commented on the tent facility in her 14th Congressional District, said she’s in talks with other lawmakers about “figuring out if there are additional federal resources” that could be allocated to help the city house migrants.

AOC is suddenly concerned about transit access and susceptibility to flooding for illegal aliens. Those problems existed before the illegal aliens got there but she never mentioned them before. Does that mean she doesn’t care about American citizens having transit access and living in an area susceptible to flooding?

No. What it REALLY means is she’s looking for an excuse for why she’s suddenly no longer woke enough to allow voters in her district to see first-hand the results of the open borders policies she embraces. As is invariably the case, the policies radical Democrats adore are only applicable when they don’t have to face the consequences of their decisions.

Even AOC is only woke when a solution to illegal alien problems doesn’t affect her directly or expose her idiocy to her voters.

Lest we forget, plants “inhale” carbon dioxide and “exhale” oxygen. It creates a perfect symbiosis with oxygen-breathing animals that exhale carbon dioxide. When there’s balance, all is good. But the climate change industry wants to tear down what we know to be true and replace it with what they know to be false.

Congressman Thomas Massie took to Twitter to briefly explain the consequences:

There are millions of true believers in the cult of climate change. But at the top of the hysteria food chain are the powers-that-be who see climate change as an opportunity to push their Neo-Marxist agenda. If everyone is at risk, everyone can be controlled, so they’ve manufactured the infamous claim that we only have ten years to solve the problem or we’re all dead. Of course, they never mention that we supposedly only had ten more years in the 1970s. And 1980s. And 1990s.

This isn’t new. It has just been rebranded to recruit the Greta Thunbergs and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortezes of the world so they can indoctrinate impressionable young people who wouldn’t recognize Al Gore if they bumped into him at a Tesla charging station.

The climate change scam isn’t really about reducing carbon dioxide. It’s about producing the so-called threat that carbon dioxide represents so they can take control of the economy. When businesses are held down by climate change regulations and beholden to ESG gatekeepers like BlackRock, the “green economy” can be realized in all of its destructive glory.

“Do you guys think of it as a climate thing?” Green New Deal architect Saikat Chakrabarti said in 2019. “Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.”

In normal times, we could assume common sense would prevail over illogical hysteria. But these aren’t normal times so it’s imperative we get the truth out there about the climate change agenda, also known as The Great Reset.
