Last Tuesday’s historic comeback victory for Donald J. Trump was one for the ages. It sent a clear message to the Democrat Party, Corporate Media, elites, and globalists that Americans are fed up with the agenda they’ve crammed down our throats for the last four years. A majority of voters decided that the America First agenda, championed by Donald Trump and JD Vance, is the playbook for American greatness.

With the election season now in the rearview mirror, Senators will return to Washington and select the next Senate Republican Majority Leader this week. The American people gave Republicans in the Senate a mandate to deliver the platform that President Trump ran on. For this reason, only a Republican Senator that enthusiastically embraces this mandate will receive my support for Majority Leader.

I encourage all my Senate colleagues to listen to the American people and follow suit. Senate Republicans must choose a Senate Republican Majority Leader that reflects the will of the American people. Only Senators who share the President-elect’s America First vision for the next four years should be considered for this job.

First and foremost, any candidate for GOP Majority Leader must commit to prioritizing legislation that closes the border and facilitates deportations, reins in wasteful spending, restores America’s energy independence, reshores American manufacturing, and purges our military of wokeness so it is once again the most lethal fighting force in the world.

The nightmarish last four years of this administration have done serious damage to our Republic. There is no time to waste. The Senate Republican Majority Leader must demonstrate a commitment to passing legislation in each of these categories. The leader needs to go big or go home and deliver on President Trump’s agenda.

In addition to these legislative priorities, the GOP Majority Leader should voice support for enacting reforms to the leader’s powers—decentralizing the authority of the office. My friend and colleague Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) has drafted a number of excellent reforms that will give all Republican Senators a seat at the table in order to represent the varying needs of each state and help enact conservative policies to benefit all Americans.

Some of these reforms include allowing rank-and-file conservative Senators the opportunity to vote on amendments on important bills, providing Senators with enough time to review massive spending bills, and providing a schedule for the consideration of separate spending bills instead of jamming through ominous bills at the eleventh hour.

One of the most important reforms proposed by Senator Lee is requiring the majority support of the Senate Republican Conference before moving on legislation. It encourages Republican Senators to unify around bills. In essence, all of these reforms will make sure the Senate is an institution for the people and by the people, not the elites.

In addition to passing legislation that codifies President Trump’s proposed agenda, a prospective Senate Republican Majority Leader must ensure that Senate Republicans are not undermining President Trump’s objectives, legislatively or otherwise. It’s no secret that this has been an issue in the past.

The last thing the President-elect should deal with is a RINO Senate acting as a thorn in his side. President Trump has been through hell and back fighting for the American people. He survived two assassination attempts, partisan lawfare from a corrupt administration, and baseless lies from the Corporate Media who tried their best to keep him out of the White House. The right Senate Republican Majority Leader for the job will make President Trump’s job easier, not harder.

Finally, a Republican Majority Leader needs to have the courage to push back against the corrupt media. The leader of the Republican-controlled Senate should realize by now that the mainstream media has zero credibility and is the enemy of the people. Put simply, if Jimmy Kimmel is upset with Republicans in the Senate, the leader is doing the right thing.

You can expect mainstream media outlets to begin labeling Republicans with the vilest of names these next few years. We saw that repeatedly during President Trump’s first term. A Majority Leader shouldn’t care one bit about what the media is saying. The Leader must commit to delivering an America First agenda to the American people, regardless of what the mainstream media says.

The Senate Republican Conference should have complete confidence in supporting a leader that will adhere to these propositions. For the first time in two decades, a Republican President won the popular vote and the electoral college. Both chambers of Congress are in Republican control. Americans sent Democrats packing, and Republicans to Washington, because it’s unsatisfied with business as usual. Americans want every part of President Trump’s agenda—and they want it now.

For these reasons, I am supporting Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) for Majority Leader. He has been a champion for the America First movement and will shake up the status quo in Washington.

As my Senate colleagues return to Washington, I will encourage all of them to take these ideas into consideration. By selecting the right Senate leadership, we can deliver on the American people’s mandate and restore faith in our system of government. A new American Golden Age is within reach, and Senator Rick Scott can help President Donald Trump deliver for all Americans.

In Defense of Nation-States https://americanconservativemovement.com/in-defense-of-nation-states/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/in-defense-of-nation-states/#respond Mon, 30 Sep 2024 10:52:19 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/in-defense-of-nation-states/ Nationalism has become the great bugaboo of global talking heads today.  It is discussed in the marbled halls of Western capitals as a scourge that must be eliminated just as swiftly as its equally detested cousin, populism.  Policies that are popular with the people and nation-states that reflect the self-determination of the people cannot be permitted!

Who says?  Some very important people who belong to august bodies such as the European Commission, the United Nations, the Bank for International Settlements, the World Economic Forum, and the World Health Organization.  International groups with lofty reputations have no time to trifle with the beliefs and needs of discrete peoples.  The globalists are here to save democracy by ridiculing and rejecting whatever the people might want!

Sounds a little bit like an absolute monarchy, does it not?  The public is not in the mood for another round of COVID lockdowns.  Who cares? — it’s what the WHO director commands!  Citizens are extremely unhappy with the attendant crime, cultural conflict, and expanded welfare obligations that come with rampant illegal immigration.  So what? — the unelected bureaucrats at the E.C. and the U.N. are committed to destroying national identities!  Westerners demand an end to money-printing and runaway inflation.  Who asked them? — we do what the multinational investment firms say!

What we have today are kings and queens who sit on distant thrones and bark orders at the common people living under their rule.  Those who object to being ruled are condemned as “extremists,” vulgar “populists,” and bigoted “nationalists.”  From the royalty’s point of view, anyone who represents the people is a threat to the globalist monarchy’s continuing reign.  Populists and nationalists, you say?  Egad, off with their heads!

Why can’t the French, Dutch, British, German, Polish, Swedish, Italian, Spanish, Australian, Canadian, and American governments represent their own peoples?  Because those territories are too small for their designs.  Today’s “elites” have global domination on their minds.  The concerns of individual nation-states are too petty for those who covet the whole planet.

We used to have a pretty good word to describe an arrangement in which many separate countries are forced to bend the knee and pay tribute to a superior power: empire.

Every empire’s defenders describe its institutions as absolutely necessary for promoting social cohesion, economic growth, and political stability.  Respect for authority and the hierarchical order is touted as essential for civilization.  But we are not living in the age of Caesar Augustus, Charlemagne, or Kublai Khan.  Must a small collection of global “elites” really keep distinct nations under their thumbs in order to keep the peace?  Not if immediate history is any guide.  Peace isn’t what empires do!  They command…until they are opposed by those who refuse to be conquered or until they are resisted from within by those no longer willing to obey.

During the twentieth century alone, many great empires clashed and died.  The First World War brought an end to the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the German Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and the Russian Empire.  The Second World War brought an end to the Japanese Empire, the German Reich, and the Kingdom of Italy.  In the aftermath of those global conflagrations, independence movements emerged in overseas territories once administered by the United Kingdom and France and set in motion decades of decolonization across Africa, the Balkans, the Middle East, and Asia.  The combined results produced dozens of new nation-states around the globe.

Some had existed as kingdoms, tribes, or proto-nations earlier in their respective histories, whereas others materialized as products of diplomatic wrangling among peace negotiators partitioning military maps.  The trend, however, was clear: cultural and ethnic groups all over the planet sought independence from the much larger empires that had once swallowed them whole.  Following two horrific wars that had claimed hundreds of millions of lives to bloodshed, disease, genocide, and famine, the mid-twentieth century witnessed renewed calls for national self-determination, political statehood, and local decision-making.

Those calls were often ignored.  For millions of Eastern Europeans trapped behind the Iron Curtain, WWII did not really come to an end until the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union nearly fifty years later.  The rise of communism in Asia divided China, Korea, and Vietnam and left most of the continent in various stages of civil war to the present day.  For those unlucky enough to have lived through the ethnic slaughter of the Yugoslav Wars in the ’90s, the Great War that began in 1914 lingered for most of the twentieth century.

In contrast to the proliferation of nation-states, the last century also produced a new kind of empire: the global superpower.  The United States and the Soviet Union faced off in a simmering Cold War that could have easily exploded into a third world war at any time, and their respective military alliances — the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the Warsaw Pact — stretched their tentacles across continents and oceans.  While the U.S. and the USSR treated the world as a chessboard and nation-states as game pieces belonging to one side or the other, national independence movements often became little more than smokescreens for proxy wars between the world’s two dominant empires.  Under the shadows of the global superpowers, many fledgling nations were relegated to the status of client states — vassals doing their hegemons’ bidding.

The twentieth century’s clash of empires gave the world carnage and chaos that surpassed that of any other century and left humanity on the knife-edge of total destruction during a Cold War that carried the prospect of nuclear Armageddon.  From such savagery and perpetual angst, several obvious lessons could be gleaned: empire-building leads indubitably to empire collapse.  Likewise, when empires fall, people all over the planet suffer.  Finally, anything in this world that is “too big to fail” represents a threat to everyone.  Those lessons apply equally to financial as well as political Leviathans.

A rational person might well conclude that concentrated power and centralized government are the essential ingredients for future public resentment, social instability, and revolution.  An impartial observer might similarly conclude that unrepresentative government leads to the abandonment of protections for individual human rights and the concomitant growth of brute totalitarianism.  Finally, an honest messenger might warn that authoritarianism inescapably delivers violent repression; dogmatic speech controls; and, ultimately, genocide.  The twentieth century’s butcher’s bill might even suggest that local decision-making, community empowerment, and stalwart respect for personal freedoms remain the crucial bulwarks against the real scourge of humanity: tyranny.

How strange it is, then, that twenty-first-century global powers demonize nation-states as antiquated political entities detrimental to world peace and their defenders as xenophobes not worthy of recognition?

Most of Western Europe cheered the fall of the Third Reich because a continent of distinct nations with unique cultures and cherished histories did not want to become conquered vassals of the Nazi regime.  Eighty years later, those same European nations have become part of a continental union that promotes endless immigration from competing civilizations and recognizes Germany as its unofficial head.  Similarly, eight years after the British people voted for national sovereignty over European Union membership, several iterations of U.K. governments have watered down the intended effects of a real Brexit.  And the United States has spent the post-war period building a NATO military alliance, international financial institutions such as the IMF and World Bank, and a labyrinthine system of “free trade” agreements — all meant to buttress what the U.S. government and its allies affectionately call the “rules-based international order.”

It would seem that two world wars and a debilitating Cold War did nothing to dissuade global “elites” from building a new empire on the ashes of the old.  It will surely suffer a similar fate.

GOP Establishment’s Days Are Numbered https://americanconservativemovement.com/gop-establishments-days-are-numbered/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/gop-establishments-days-are-numbered/#respond Sun, 28 Apr 2024 12:54:30 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=203029 (Daily Signal)—The Republican establishment doesn’t know it yet, but last weekend was a watershed moment for their party.

On April 20, House Republican leadership facilitated passage of a foreign-aid package that sends roughly $60 billion to Ukraine, $26 billion to Israel and Gaza, $8 billion to Taiwan, and exactly zero dollars to the southern border. The bill has since passed the Democrat-led Senate and was signed by President Joe Biden.

The vote will be remembered for the choice Republican leadership made to brazenly reject its own voters in favor of the “uniparty” in Washington, D.C.

In a move that can only be described as “McConnell-esque,” House Republican leadership teamed up with Democrats to overrule the position of their own conference, their voters, and the will of the American people.

Democrats on the House Rules Committee made an unprecedented move by crossing the party line and overruling Republican opposition in committee, signaling an end to the typically Democrat versus Republican battle and the beginning of the conservative versus “uniparty” war.

The disconnect between “the Swamp” and small-town America could not be more profound. How can a political party be so tone-deaf to the plight of the everyday Americans suffering under inflation, crime, and societal rot?

How can a Republican-led House prioritize the borders of another country over our own border, even as American citizens are killed by illegal immigrants?

How can so-called fiscally responsible Republicans sign off on what is now $174 billion in direct Ukraine aid with a national debt of $34 trillion—more than $250,000 for every American household?

And how can House Speaker Mike Johnson, who had pledged repeatedly that no foreign-aid legislation would advance without first securing the border, so quickly be steamrolled by the Establishment?

In their desire to send billions of dollars to a conflict that our commander-in-chief has still, to this day, offered no plan for winning, the GOP’s leadership not only spurned their party’s own supporters but overlooked an opportunity to appeal to independent Americans frustrated by both political parties.

According to recent polling that The Heritage Foundation conducted with RMG Research, an overwhelming three out of four swing voters opposed sending any additional aid to Ukraine without also allocating funds for our own border. A majority (56%) of swing voters in key battleground states thought that the $113 billion the United States had already committed to Ukraine was too much.

The entire Heritage enterprise fought for over a year and a half on this issue. Heritage Action for America engaged our millions of grassroots members to voice their concerns to their representatives. Scholars at The Heritage Foundation presented a national security alternative package that included limited military aid to Ukraine but made border security the central focus. In an unprecedented move, we even issued a “key vote” on our legislative scorecard against Speaker Johnson’s convoluted rule, which was a gimmick that lowered the threshold to a simple majority (not a supermajority under suspension) and provided political cover for members to vote against individual pieces without jeopardizing the package.

Powerful interests were aligned against us, however, and we lost on the day. Though we lost this battle, all signs indicate that we are winning the war for the soul of the GOP. A majority of Republicans (112) voted against Ukraine aid on April 20. Younger and newer members are particularly fed up with leadership’s conciliatory approach and manipulative tactics that have led us to this point. The average age of the Senate Republicans who voted “nay” is 59, while the average age of those who voted “yea” is 66. The average “nay” vote has been in office since just 2016, while the average “yea” vote has been in Washington since 2010. The same dynamic was true with the recent $1.2 trillion omnibus spending bill.

This generational shift can be ignored by the “uniparty,” but it’s not going away. Newer, younger representatives want a choice, not an echo; and increasingly, they’re adopting a populist form of conservatism that champions “government of the people, by the people, and for the people” above all else.

In other words, they want a GOP that puts America first, something a government in any healthy republic would do. They want a GOP that acknowledges the reality that America is a nation in decline but is not yet too late to save.

As Ronald Reagan said in his 1980 address accepting the presidential nomination at the Republican National Convention, “For those who have abandoned hope, we’ll restore hope and we’ll welcome them into a great national crusade to make America great again!”

And that brings us to the importance of this year’s election.

In 2016, despite staunch opposition from the GOP leadership, Donald Trump rejected the Washington consensus and initiated a generational realignment in American politics. If the conservative movement leans into the politics and policies President Donald Trump made successful, the American people will again have the opportunity this fall to accelerate a new consensus in Washington, D.C. This is why I remain optimistic about the future of our great nation.

The GOP establishment’s actions this past week portend the end of the GOP establishment, not its survival. Conservatives will win the soul of the GOP, and with it, the hearts of the American people.

It Is America First, Not Ukraine https://americanconservativemovement.com/it-is-america-first-not-ukraine/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/it-is-america-first-not-ukraine/#comments Sun, 16 Jul 2023 20:49:22 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=194848 The war in Ukraine has been raging for over five hundred days, with no end in sight. In the first year of the war, the U.S. Congress approved over $113 billion in aid for Ukraine.

To prepare for the “spring offensive,” President Joe Biden authorized another $675 million to help the Ukrainian military. After the military progress was halted by the Russians, Biden decided to send controversial cluster munitions to the Ukrainian military.

These munitions are banned by more than 100 nations because of the “large numbers of smaller bomblets that can kill indiscriminately over a wide area.” In many cases, the victims are innocent civilians.

This decision will inevitably lead to an escalation as Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed his country has a “stockpile of different kinds of cluster bombs.” He vowed, “if they are used against us, we reserve the right to take reciprocal action.”

As the war intensifies, there seems to be zero progress on the diplomatic front. However, we need to pursue peace talks immediately before a nuclear war starts.

President Donald Trump has been sounding the alarm about the irresponsible actions of the Biden administration in Ukraine. He posted on Truth Social, “Joe Biden should not be dragging us further toward World War III by sending cluster munitions to Ukraine—he should be trying to END the war and stop the horrific death and destruction being caused by an incompetent administration.”

Unfortunately, Biden is President, not Trump. The Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen reaffirmed the Biden administration strategy in a meeting with reporters at the G20 Financial Ministers Summit in India. Yellen said that aid to Ukraine was “the single best thing we can do for the global economy.”

Is she right? Is the continuation of the war “the single best thing” for the “global economy.” Of course not, the world does not benefit from the continuation of a brutal war. What is needed is the start of peace negotiations. The United States could broker such talks, but the Biden administration is uninterested.

Instead, Biden just authorized the activation of 3,000 military reservists to support our operations in Europe.  After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Biden sent an additional 20,000 troops to Europe, bringing our total forces to over 100,000 on the continent.

These actions lead Central Intelligence Agency veteran Larry Johnson to conclude that “the United States is giving every indication that it is prepared to have a confrontation with Russia.” This strategy is extremely reckless considering that the Russians have the world’s largest stockpile of nuclear weapons, and the Ukrainians are having a challenging time providing enough manpower for their military operations.

According to the Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet, “Many conscripted men are taken straight off the street by uniformed men….in Subcarpathia, a surveillance camera recorded the overreach of the authorities as a man trying to go to a store was kidnapped from his bicycle in broad daylight.” Many of these abductions have been recorded on video and posted on encrypted apps such as Telegram.

In response, some young men are refusing to leave their homes, hoping to avoid being sent to the front lines of the war. Others are avoiding forced conscription by bribing Ukrainian military recruitment officials. Many of these officials have become rich. In fact, one of them, Yevgeny Borisov, bought a luxury mansion on the Spanish coast and a chain of high-priced retail stores for his wife.

Sadly, corruption is rampant in Ukraine, which is why even supporters of our military assistance efforts, U.S. Senators John Kennedy (R-LA) and Krysten Sinema (I-AZ), wrote that “Americans lack a proper accounting of how our aid has worked thus far.” In their op-ed, the Senators also noted that “We’ve heard several unsettling reports of bad actors exploiting our generosity. Some of our costly weapons have ended up in black markets. And corrupt officials have tried to line their own pockets.”

Yes, the Senators are correct. Ukrainian officials such as Yevgeny Borisov and others have become wealthy from the war. Incredibly, weapons sent from Ukraine have been spotted in the hands of members of Mexican drug cartels.

This insane gravy train will continue until at least the end of the Biden administration. At a recent bilateral meeting in Lithuania, Biden boasted to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the United States had “given more than every other nation combined in terms of assistance and cost.”

Why has the United States been so generous with our taxpayer funds when many wealthy European nations have barely contributed to the Ukrainian war effort? Biden did not receive the approval of the American people to fund the Ukraine military and government. In addition, there has been no declaration of war by the United States Congress.

At the same time, horrible problems in our country have been ignored by many of the political leaders of both parties. Former Vice President Mike Pence, who is a candidate for the GOP presidential nomination in 2024, wants an increase in military support to Ukraine.

Pence was recently scolded by Tucker Carlson at a presidential primary forum in Iowa. Carlson fumed, “You are distressed that the Ukrainians don’t have enough American tanks. Every city in the United States has become much worse over the past three years. Drive around. There is not one city that has gotten better in the United States, and it’s visible. Our economy has degraded, the suicide rate has jumped, public filth and disorder and crime have exponentially increased, and yet your concern is that the Ukrainians, a country most people can’t find on a map, who’ve received tens of billions of U.S. tax dollars, don’t have enough tanks.”

Rightfully Carlson asked him “where’s the concern for the United States?” Incredibly, Pence claimed it was “not my concern.”

The top “concern” for every presidential candidate should be the United States, not Ukraine. As President Trump noted, we must stop the “insanity” in Ukraine and “return to a focus on America’s vital interests.” Amen.

Rebuild the America First Movement or Die Trying https://americanconservativemovement.com/rebuild-the-america-first-movement-or-die-trying/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/rebuild-the-america-first-movement-or-die-trying/#comments Thu, 08 Dec 2022 00:05:23 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=186108 Do you remember the Tea Party? The once-powerful loose group of patriots who were fed up with Barack Obama and the Democrats died a much earlier death than many realize. Most thought it was the election of Donald Trump that sent the bulk of conservatives back into their day-to-day lives, content that the mission had been accomplished. But as those of us who were paying attention the whole time realized, the Trump victory in 2016 was just an excuse for accepting the death of a movement that had been a shell of itself for a couple of years.

Yesterday’s loss by Herschel Walker in Georgia marked the electoral culmination of the plans of the Uniparty Swamp to strike down the ideological successor to the Tea Party: The America First movement. While this movement has many names, most notably “MAGA Republicans,” it was no less influential than the Tea Party. The difference is that the America First movement lacked leadership while the Tea Party had too much leadership. The America First movement has lacked direction while the Tea Party went in a dozen different directions at once.

Unfortunately, the America First movement is on life support before it really had time to shine. In the short term, that’s horrible news for patriots who are sick of the Uniparty Swamp. But where this goes in the long term will be determined by what happens now in the aftermath of the midterm elections. Will patriots accept that the Republican Establishment has quelled the uprising of people who actually love their country, or will we double and triple our efforts to truly take back our nation?

I’m choosing the latter. If you do as well, the question then becomes how? On today’s episode of The JD Rucker Show, I’ll explore what went wrong in 2022, what challenges we face in rebuilding the movement, and how to overcome them.

Recognize the Enemies

We cannot fight an enemy if we do not recognize exactly who they are. It’s easy to say that the massive, widespread voter fraud as well as legal but dirty tactics used to sway elections are all the fault of Democrats, but this is inaccurate. It’s the Uniparty Swamp that’s truly behind the theft of the “red tsunami” in 2022 and the presidential election in 2020. Mitch McConnell was just as responsible (in fact, probably more so) for Republicans losing elections as Chuck Schumer.

The RINOs would rather the party lose than win with America First patriots. They despise Donald Trump, but more importantly they despise those of us who supported him. This is why they managed to lose a seat in the Senate despite the state of the nation being more abysmal than it has been in modern history. The party in charge of the House, Senate, and White House does NOT get rewarded with more seats under normal circumstances, but the Uniparty Swamp made it happen. The GOP may have won a razor-thin majority in the House, but that’s just because it’s too challenging for them to subvert so many elections across the country. The Uniparty Swamp is okay with a House led by Kevin McCarthy since he’s one of them.

Stop Donating to PACs

Did you know that whatever the various Republican super PACs say in their letters, robocalls, and emails, it’s almost always a lie? They latch onto whatever will get you to donate to them, but the money always ends up being used for something different. In fact, pennies on the dollar that were donated to bring about the “red tsunami” actually went to helping candidates win elections.

Unfortunately, that’s bad enough but it’s even worse than that. Since the biggest conservative PACs are operated by RINOs and GOP Establishment shills, the money was almost never directed to helping America First candidates like Blake Masters despite the fact that they ALL fundraised on helping the GOP win control of the Senate. More money was spent to help a Republican in Alaska beat another Republican in Alaska than on many of the seats that could have been flipped.

I’m not a fan of political donations in general, but if you feel compelled to help out then give directly to candidates’ campaigns that you truly support. Don’t let McConnell, Mike Pence, or any of the other charlatans take your money so they can repurpose it for their personal needs.

Recruit Candidates Early

I supported Kathy Barnette over Dr. Mehmet Oz during the Pennsylvania Republican primary for U.S. Senate. Unfortunately, I hadn’t even heard of Barnette until less than a month before the primary. I didn’t do my job of looking into all of the candidates. Until a late surge she was somewhere hovering around 6th place so I didn’t pay attention. That was my mistake.

It won’t happen again. We need to not only find the candidates who can earn our support early, but we must also get involved in recruiting great ones. I’d much rather find a patriotic business owner, firefighter, or truck drive who doesn’t WANT to be a politician but is WILLING to serve for the sake of the nation instead of someone who’s been working their way up the political ladder for most of their adult lives.

This is how the Justice Democrats found people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. They literally started taking applications for races they wanted to win, then interviewed people until they found the right match. I’m not sure if that’s the exact strategy we’d want to employ, but it’s not far off.

Localize

This doesn’t just have to do with the America First movement. We should be striving to localize nearly every aspect of our lives with so many threats coming together around us. But the original plan of the Tea Party was to establish localized chapters. The America First movement should do something similar with one caveat. If we’re going to operate locally, we need to maintain that stance.

The Tea Party was killed by several groups of grifters who nationalized the movement. Some of the Tea Party groups were okay, but most were not. Unfortunately, being “okay” isn’t good enough for the long haul and being a grifter group is counterproductive. We cannot allow that to happen to the America First movement. If should form locally in areas across the country. It should stay local. It should operate locally. Otherwise, it will be corrupted.

Stop Voter Fraud

As long as the 2020 and 2022 elections are allowed to stand without investigations or repercussions, the Uniparty Swamp will continue to steal elections. This is why I will continue to highlight every piece of evidence we find, promote every action that strives to reveal the truth, and support any investigation that can lead to justice if not to correcting the results of the various stolen elections.

Do NOT fall for the current Uniparty Swamp narrative that the 2022 election was lost over Roe v. Wade. It’s a compelling argument on the surface, but here’s the thing. If Roe v. Wade stopped the red tsunami, we would have seen it reflected in the polls ahead of the election. Nobody woke up on election day and said, “I told the pollster last week I was voting Republican but I just now found out Roe v. Wade was overturned so I’m voting Democrat instead.”

Support America First Media

It’s no secret I’m against Fox News and other “right-leaning” corporate media outlets because they’re beholding the RINOs and therefore they’re beholden to the Uniparty Swamp. Unfortunately, we’ve seen many conservative publications who were at least pretending to be America First before the 2020 election reveal their true colors over the last two years. They’re embracing people like Mike Pence and Nikki Haley. They’re taking every opportunity they can to attack Donald Trump. They’re doing the bidding of Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, and Kevin McCarthy.

We need to stop visiting such sites. We need to stop sharing them. I do a lot of work at The Liberty Daily and I’ve also launched a new, lite-version of conservative news aggregation at Discern Report. Hopefully, this is how I will contribute to pushing the America First movement forward.

We must rebuild the America First movement. If we don’t, the nation is lost. This is why I’m so adamant about pursuing this course immediately. One does not wait to face an existential threat until after they’re done watching Downton Abbey.

Washington Examiner Posts Veiled Hit Piece Against Kari Lake https://americanconservativemovement.com/washington-examiner-posts-veiled-hit-peace-against-kari-lake/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/washington-examiner-posts-veiled-hit-peace-against-kari-lake/#comments Sun, 16 Oct 2022 03:13:33 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=183407 Days after the 2020 election was stolen, the editorial board at the Washington Examiner posted their first call for conservatives to “move on” and accept the results of the election despite clear evidence that there were abnormalities. Those “abnormalities” turned into mountains of evidence over time, but the same editorial board did not change their tune.

It was then that I realized the “right-leaning” news outlet was no better than many at Fox News or any of the other corporate media shills who support RINOs and Never-Trumpers instead of conservatives or populists. This is important for America First patriots to know because it’s easy to not realize we’re reading McConnellesque propaganda.

The latest attack on an America First patriot is disguised as a news story that initially looks like it’s painting Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake in a positive light. Titled, “MAGA’s next megastar: Dems reportedly concerned Kari Lake could shatter 2024 dreams,” it drew me in even as I knew they likely weren’t going to be endorsing the staunch conservative candidate. It started off fine, but by paragraph two, it was clear that their labels of her as an “election denier” and an “Ultra-MAGA” candidate were intended as pejoratives. They then proceeded to reinforce this notion by filling the article with quotes and perspectives from Democrats, including Lake’s opponent, Katie Hobbs.

Conspicuously, there are ZERO quotes from Kari Lake or anyone at her campaign, nor any of the patriots who support her. All of the quotes are from those opposed to her. They even took a swipe at Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano, who also happens to be an “election denier” and “Ultra MAGA.”

On the surface, this doesn’t appear to be a hit piece. But as experienced propagandists are well aware, the conscious and subconscious takeaways from a “news” report can be shifted in one direction or another based on how it’s crafted. This one is masterfully done to subtly disparage Lake while making her opponent and critics sound reasonable. All they have to do is highlight a quote or fact that sounds acceptable to the reader or listener, then subsequent quotes are digested as reliable.

In this case, the story’s first quote came from Obama disciple David Axelrod.

“If you get a candidate who has the performance skills of a major-market local TV anchor and the philosophy and thinking of Steve Bannon, that’s a potent and dangerous combination. … Look at Italy,” he said.

To America First patriots, the statement doesn’t have a negative impact. But to lukewarm conservatives or Republicans who are not ideologically aligned with Steve Bannon or the next Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, that single line can turn those voters and potential supporters off. That was the intention of leading with Axelrod’s quote.

Later, the article quotes Hobbs and, as noted, did not allow Lake to retort. Here’s the first of three long quotes from Hobbs with the intended takeaway emphasized.

“How do you debate someone who refuses to accept the truth, who doesn’t live in facts, and it doesn’t do any service to the voters in terms of deciding, looking at the contrast between us and how we’re going to govern if all she’s going to is shout over me, interrupt me, and spew lies?” she said on MSNBC this week.

This story has been the top headline over at the Washington Examiner from Saturday morning until at least evening. It may be the best example of how to post a hit piece without letting people, including the Lake team, know that it’s a hit piece. It’s manipulative and disingenuous, filled with all of the negative opinions they want voters to have about Lake while never getting a single perspective from a Lake supporter or Lake herself.

Even the headline is intended to draw in Lake supporters or potential supporters who hope to see why Lake would make a good leader. They included a click-bait insinuation about 2024 knowing many have seen her as a potential running mate for Donald Trump. Laughably, the article doesn’t even mention 2024. Once they got you to click through on an insinuated promise, they had no intention of actually talking about the point their readers wanted to see. That’s not just click-bait. It’s a way to get readers to go all the way through the article to the end.

To be clear, there are several writers over at the Washington Examiner that I like and respect. They’re not all RINO shills. But just as Fox News has Tucker Carlson, they also have Brett Baier. They also have a whole lot of people at the top of the food chain who hate Donald Trump. They likely also hate Kari Lake because she supports Donald Trump and represents the type of leadership Arizona and America needs.

America First patriots must practice as much discernment as possible when dealing with RINO shill publications. It’s easy to see the blatant hatred toward conservatives at CNN, NY Times, and other leftist outlets. But the so-called “right-leaning” corporate media outlets will give fodder to conservatives by posting a pro-life story or an anti-CRT rant, right next to those stories will be a puff piece about Mike Pence or Doug Ducey. Be warned.

FYI, this is why we’re launching Discern.tv very soon.

On the Bright Side, Here are Seven Wins for America First Patriots https://americanconservativemovement.com/on-the-bright-side-here-are-seven-wins-for-america-first-patriots/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/on-the-bright-side-here-are-seven-wins-for-america-first-patriots/#respond Thu, 22 Sep 2022 06:21:02 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=181471 It’s no secret that I generally have a negative outlook on our prospects as a nation. Between the globalist cabal, the Biden-Harris regime, and the woke army of radical progressives backing both, it’s often hard to find tangible victories to give us hope.

This week has seen several victories that point to what I hope is a trend. Is the tide turning? Are we getting closer to snatching victory from the jaws of defeat? Can we turn things around? If the seven stories below are any indication, there’s reason to be hopeful.

On today’s episode of The JD Rucker Report, I explored all seven:

Inconvenient Truth: “The GOP Is Nowhere Near as Committed to Saving America as Democrats Are to Killing Her” https://americanconservativemovement.com/inconvenient-truth-the-gop-is-nowhere-near-as-committed-to-saving-america-as-democrats-are-to-killing-her/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/inconvenient-truth-the-gop-is-nowhere-near-as-committed-to-saving-america-as-democrats-are-to-killing-her/#comments Tue, 16 Aug 2022 16:00:42 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=178573 There’s a false notion going around that if there’s a “red wave” and Republicans take back control of the House and/or Senate, things can be made right. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no indication that the Republican Party has any real fight left in it. In DC as well as in Republican-controlled state legislatures across the country, there’s a whole lot of bellyaching but very little action. Meanwhile, Democrats seem willing to sacrifice their careers for their cause.

As pundit John Cardillo noted on Twitter, the stakes are high and the GOP seems unwilling as a whole to fight the good fight.

The sad truth is that the @GOP is nowhere near as committed to saving America as @TheDemocrats are to killing her.

It’s true. The vast majority of Republican lawmakers in DC, especially those who are running for reelection, have taken the safest possible road. They are acting as if this nation is in good enough shape that if we wait for the midterms, everything can be made whole. This is far from the case. One can even argue that they haven’t put up much of a fight against, well, anything because they hope the Democrats get their legislative wishes. That way, Americans can see just how bad their policies really are.

It’s a decent election strategy in normal times, but the current state of the nation is nowhere near normal. We needed them fighting when the 2020 election was stolen. We needed them fighting the very day Joe Biden was installed into the White House. We’ve needed them to continue fighting tooth-and-nail ever since. Instead, they whine about things while helping Democrats pass the expensive yet worthless infrastructure bill. They talk about conservatism while many helped pass gun control.

They are feckless. But it’s not just DC. With very few exceptions, Republican elected officials in states, counties, and cities have done very little to counter the Biden-Harris regime’s overreach. As Cardillo noted:

Why isn’t every GOP state AG relentlessly prosecuting corrupt Democrats?

We need fighters like Donald Trump. We need executives willing to stand up to the woke mobs like Ron DeSantis. We need lawmakers who will take the fight to the Democrats and their army of bureaucrats like Rand Paul, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Paul Gosar. Instead, we have a party being led into the so-called “red wave” by RINOs like Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy.

If you think the midterm elections will mark a turnaround for this nation, think again. If the red wave happens, it will not be because Republicans have earned it. They’re just less awful than their Democrat counterparts.

Five Ways to Fight the Deep State Without Sparking a Civil War https://americanconservativemovement.com/five-ways-to-fight-the-deep-state-without-sparking-a-civil-war/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/five-ways-to-fight-the-deep-state-without-sparking-a-civil-war/#comments Tue, 16 Aug 2022 15:50:49 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=178574

Patriots are rightly angry with and frustrated by the attacks happening to Donald Trump. The Deep State seems bent on destroying him and they’re coming after all of us as well. But one of their primary steps along the way to achieving total control is to compel America First patriots into either participating in some form of civil war or disavowing such things and falling in line.

We can fight this. On today’s episode of The JD Rucker Show, I covered five ways we can fight them without sparking the civil war the powers-that-be so desperately want.

Before I get into those things, there are some preliminary considerations to keep in mind. First and foremost, the powers-that-be WANT a limited form of civil war. They may not (or perhaps they may) want large militia groups storming cities or hunkering down in impenetrable compounds, but they do want violence and acts of domestic terrorism to take place to justify whatever crackdown they impose against us.

Second, they want to split America First patriots into two groups. The first group are those who will remain silent and complacent out of fear of being targeted. These patriots won’t really fight back, so they’ll be allowed to exist in the totalitarian world envisioned by the globalist elites. The second groups are those of us who won’t sit back idly and who won’t comply. They want us jailed or dead.

The third consideration is that Donald Trump is very likely to be indicted. They seem willing to do anything, including manufacturing charges and arresting the rightful president, just to make sure they take us over our breaking point. If you think things are bad now, imagine if Trump is frog-marched.

Lastly, it’s important that we do not take for granted that our fellow America First patriots are aware of any of this. Spread the word. If we let emotions drive our actions as a movement, we will be quickly and completely quashed. Today’s show may be the most important one I’ve done in regards to immediate implications. We need to remain calm and act from intellect rather than pure anger. With that said, here are the five ways we can fight back without sparking a civil war.

Expect manipulation or a full-blown false flag

Warnings were issued over the weekend about anticipated domestic terrorism attacks. These warnings all pointed to angry “right-wing extremists” who are upset over the Mar-a-Lago raid.

It may be true that some are planning an attack. As I said, we’re rightly angry and some people turn their anger into violence. But I’m much more concerned about false flag or prompted attacked. We’ve had glimpses of what the feds are willing to do to take us down. The Gretchen Whitmer “fednapping” plot exposed their willingness to take anger and try to funnel it into illegal action. Their efforts to turn the January 6 mostly peaceful protest into an “insurrection” is well documented. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. What else have they done in order to incite criminal activity?

The most concerning part of their warnings is that they mentioned a “dirty bomb” that could be used near a government building or FBI headquarters. This was very peculiar because dirty bombs aren’t exactly easy to make. While they do not require the technical expertise of building a nuclear weapon, the materials necessary are equally difficult to acquire. Which is more likely, that a militia group reacting to Mar-a-Lago or a future indictment of Donald Trump got their hands on nuclear materials or that the feds are preparing for a false flag attack?

We need more RALLIES where they will get coverage

Generally speaking, rallies are considered positive events and protests are considered to be negative. The media will treat them the same. While our natural reaction may be to hold protests in front of government buildings, it makes more sense to hold rallies.

More people will come and the chances of things turning violent are lower. It may just be a simple relabeling, but it makes a difference in the potential outcomes. We can still get angry and voice our frustrations at rallies. Setting the mindset that we’re going out to support our president rather than to attack the FBI means we’ll get better optics, more attendance, and a reduced chance that the Deep State will get the attacks they want at these events.

Make GOP lawmakers and candidates acknowledge this is THE issue

I can count on two hands the number of Republican politicians who are really fighting for us. There are good candidates out there, especially at the local level, but even then we don’t know for sure that their campaigns will translate into action if put into office.

To me, this whole situation is a litmus test. Those who are out there getting ready to investigate the FBI and other organizations if the GOP takes control of the House or Senate are potentially good. The reason I say “potentially” is because even people like Mitch McConnell pretended to go after Obamacare all the way until he had a president who would actually sign a repeal. Then, we learned it was all talk.

We’ll have to see if they’re willing to take action, but at the very least they need to be talking about it. This represents an existential threat to America. Any Republican who isn’t screaming about the raid or the corrupt Department of Justice is compromised or complicit. THIS is the issue they need to be railing against right now.

Some will say that the economy is more important. I don’t disagree in the long-term, but here’s the thing. There’s only so much they can do about the economy. Even if they take control of the House and/or Senate, that will only act to stop more bad policies from coming to pass. They won’t be able to reverse anything, so the trajectory we’re on can only be slowed even with a massive red wave. But exposing and possibly even taking down the Deep State will require time and there’s none left to waste. They can do that with majorities. They can hold hearings and expose corruption. This is why in the short term it’s a more important issue.

Learn and share the FACTS about the raid to help “normies” understand

I could (and perhaps someday I should) write a book about the various versions of malfeasance committed by the Deep State in general and the FBI in particular. This isn’t new and spans many decades. But since the Obama regime was in office, we’ve seen a sharp rise in how badly they’ve treated the American people. They act like all of us are the enemies instead of the people they’re supposed to be protecting.

Until my not-yet-guaranteed book comes out, it’s up to you all to do the research and educate your friends and family. There are so many aspects of this raid and other recent actions by the Deep State that corporate media simply won’t cover. For example, the FBI unit that committed the raid happens to be the same unit that participated in much of Russiagate. Can we really say that’s just a coincidence?

Join or form patriot groups that want peace AND justice

This is where we get into dangerous territory. We all need to join or even build groups of patriots to act locally. Unfortunately, any time someone talks about groups of patriots, we’ve been conditioned to believe that must mean a militia group. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with militia groups, for the record. However, there’s still a stigma surrounding them that can make some people skittish.

What we need are peaceful groups who will help organize rallies, file lawsuits, and expose the Deep State to as many people as possible. That’s always challenging because most America First patriots are naturally individualists and groups are often built around collectivist mentalities, but we need friends and allies at the local level, especially if the crap starts hitting the fan.

Most importantly

As always, pray through it all. With the Lord’s help, we can fight this juggernaut of corrupt power. As long as we keep our heads cool and our minds working properly, the actions of the Deep State can be dealt with appropriately.

Prepare for Civil War https://americanconservativemovement.com/prepare-for-civil-war/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/prepare-for-civil-war/#comments Tue, 09 Aug 2022 20:17:20 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=178165

Let me state up front that I am not CALLING for civil war in this article or on the latest episode of The JD Rucker Show. I simply think it is unavoidable at this stage in American history so regardless of where any individual stands on the topic, they need to be prepared for what’s to come.

Raiding Mar-a-Lago was an acceleration of the attacks that we’ve been seeing for some time against America First patriots. Donald Trump is just the tip of the spear, but they want the whole thing. That includes all of us.

J6, 87,000 IRS agents, and the raid are all connected. They want us divided into those who will comply and those who will not. This is important before they move forward with their plans for The Great Reset. They want lists so they’re attempting to start a civil war. It’s a cold civil war now, but it may turn hot soon.

Who Are Our Enemies?

We need to understand who we are fighting if we stand a chance at winning. Most in the FBI, corporate media, the Democrat Party, and even many Republicans are willing participants, but they are just pawns. They are told this is about stopping Trump or enforcing the rule of law, whatever it takes for them to suspend disbelief in how wrong this all is. They just need a bit of justification and they’ll jump through whatever hoops they’re ordered to jump through.

Those in the Deep State control apparatus, leaders of the Uniparty Swamp, and executives in corporate media and Big Tech are the knights, bishops, and rooks being moved around the chess board by the powers-that-be, the globalist elites like Barack Obama and Klaus Schwab. They know enough to realize this isn’t just about Trump. They understand the plan well enough to know they are participating in evil, but they’re okay with it because they’ve been promised fortunes and power for their compliance.

The real force behind the raid and everything they’ve been trying to do to us since even before January 6, 2021, are those globalist elites who manufactured a Biden-Harris victory. These are the architects of The Great Reset, the powers and principalities behind the Liberal World Order. We must understand that the World Economic Forum, the Council for Inclusive Capitalism, and other globalist elites are pulling all the strings and calling all the shots.

What Are Their Goals?

Stopping Trump in 2024 is just a cover story to get most of their pawns to play ball. It’s just the cherry on top of their globalist sundae. In reality, it’s America First patriots and Christians who are the long-term targets. They are using Trump to enrage us, to get us to do something stupid like blowing up a federal building, so they can justify martial law and engaging in their FBI police state as well as their upcoming IRS economic police state.

The true motive is division. They want patriots to self-identify so they can determine which of us can be controlled and which must be eliminated. This was prompted by their January 6 operation and has led us to the attacks against Donald Trump today. Unfortunately, we have no choice but to stand up and fight back. If we self-identify through our actions, we will be persecuted. But if we hide our feelings and try to play ball, we will be oppressed. If we’re going to face tyranny one way or another, I choose to fight it.

This is all about taking down the United States of America. You can’t build back better or have a great reset until everything comes tumbling down. They want America to implode with riots, violence, and polarization that rips through the nation. This is why a civil war is a bad idea. It’s also why a civil war may be necessary.

What Does a Modern Civil War Look Like?

Obviously, there won’t be armies coming together in separate geographic locations. During the original Civil War, the sides were clearly marked and grouped together. The civil war they have planned for us today will have combatants intermingled. That will sow chaos unlike anything we’ve ever seen.

There is likely to be domestic terrorism. And no, I’m not talking about the FBI’s current definition. I’m referring to real domestic terrorism, and there will be no way to know for sure if it really is the action of Trump supporters or false flags put forth by the Deep State to implicate Trump supporters.

We will see neighbor-vs-neighbor fights over political ideology. It’s already happening, of course, but it will get far worse as the division they’re stoking gets hotter and hotter.

There will be battles between the federal government and some states. Those governors and state legislatures that are truly willing to fight for the people — and unfortunately that list won’t include all red states — will do what they can to sue the White House and its departments. They will sign executive orders and pass legislation. We may get some wins for the sake of federalism, but we may also suffer some major losses. It’s hard to know how that will play out just yet.

But as more Americans are put on lists and the so-called risk of “domestic terrorism” rises in the form of fearmongering narratives, we will se more 4am raids on patriots. It won’t just be the high-profile targets like Roger Stone or Peter Navarro. They will be hitting as many average Joe Americans as possible. We’ve seen what happens when nations embrace this police state authoritarianism and the United States is showing major signs of following suit. The jackboots are coming.

We could be in for massive chaos as a result of all this. The modern day version of civil war will not be fought on battlefields but on the streets of cities and in suburban neighborhoods. All the while, the economy will continue to falter, driving even more strife, anger, and desperation.

What Should We Do?

First and foremost, those who are not born-again Christians must make the choice as soon as possible. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and repent of your sins.

Then, start localizing your life. As easy as it is to just order from Amazon or run down to Costco, it behooves us to assume our local economy is the one that must be preserved as best we can. That means trading in the trip to a Walmart Supercenter for a longer drive to hit up multiple local businesses on your way to the farmers’ market.

This serves two purposes. First, your money is going to those around you, those who can be allies if things really do hit the fan. Second, it allows you the opportunity to make friends with people who can help you in the future, or who you can help if you can. There was a time not too long ago when buying food directly from a local farmer was common. There was a time not too long ago when people bought their supplies from their neighbors who happened to own businesses. We need to connect more with the people around us and less with people on social media.

Make family, friends, and allies aware of the need to get prepared. That doesn’t necessarily mean warning them that we’re on the verge of civil war since some will think you’re crazy, but talking about supply chain concerns or food shortages is an easy gateway through which we can start the conversations.

Find local groups to join, churches to support, and organizations to harness. It’s important that everyone with the means must do what they can to prevent themselves from being beholden to government. With dependency comes oppression, and those who are dependent and oppressed will not be great freedom fighters. Readers can get some great supplies, food, ammunition, precious metals, and other important items at our preparedness page.

Arguably the most important thing to do now is to keep your eyes open and to not lose hope. Those who have read their Bibles know that we’re either going to be victorious now if we’re not in the end times or victorious in the end if we are. Stay frosty. Stay hopeful. Stay strong.
