Just look at funding to study the Middle East.

Beginning Oct. 20, university Middle Eastern studies centers have co-organized a weekly “Gaza in Context” series.

The sessions accept the premise of Gaza’s alleged “structural subjugation and apartheid existence” caused by Israel’s “settler colonialism.” The most recent session on Nov. 20 recasts the Hamas-Israel war as a war on the “children of Gaza.”

The list of co-organizers has grown and now includes centers or programs at George Mason University, Georgetown, Rutgers, Harvard, Brown, Columbia, the University of Chicago, CUNY, University of Illinois Chicago, George Washington University, New York University, and others.

At least five of those universities have recent grants under the Department of Education’s National Resource Centers Program to promote study of the Middle East. The same five—Chicago, Columbia, NYU, Georgetown, and George Washington University—also have recent grants to give fellowships under the Department of Education’s Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships Program.

It’s increasingly difficult to see how these federal programs are achieving their mission.

The law establishing international and foreign language education programs emphasized the importance of educating American experts in order to protect the “security, stability, and economic vitality of the United States.”

That goal does not seem to be in the mission statements of Middle East studies centers.

Meanwhile, as critics have long noted, many of the federally funded academic centers also receive funds from abroad. The centers often produce graduates who have more sympathy for foreign countries than for the United States.

National Association of Scholars analyst Neetu Arnold produced an extensive report, aptly named “Hijacked,” showing how centers at many universities have been funded by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or other Middle Eastern countries.

Critics of the Department of Education might have an uphill battle in abolishing the entire department. But while that goal should remain Plan A, an easy piece of the department to zero out is Title VI of the Higher Education Act, which funds international and foreign language education programs.

If members of Congress remain concerned about educating experts in foreign languages and cultures, they should remember that the government is already funding plenty of other ways to develop such experts. For example, the Department of Defense’s National Security Education Program serves some of international and foreign language education’s core purposes, and that agency is focused on national security.

But if members of Congress just cannot stomach ending a federal program, funding should at least be redirected away from universities whose centers work against American interests. Eligibility for the programs could be restricted to military academies, where we should be able to trust that students and graduates intend to serve and protect America.

Higher education’s reputation is at a low point, particularly as university leaders, faculty members, and students demonstrate moral confusion at best and violent advocacy for terrorism at worst over the Hamas-Israel war.

And a new survey of employers shows that almost all of them deny that colleges are “graduating students with relevant skills that today’s business community needs.” Two out of five said that a college degree is irrelevant, while another two in five said a degree would make someone a less-attractive hire.

Now is a good time to listen to the public and stop funding university programs that prefer America’s antagonists to America and our friends.

This comes from the Network Contagion Research Institute’s (NCRI) latest report which found that most of the funds received by American tertiary educational institutions came from some of the most authoritarian regimes in the world, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The group’s findings relied in part on a 2020 Department of Education report that revealed how billions in undeclared foreign donations made their way into major higher education institutions. Federal law requires colleges to disclose donations from foreign governments, but many schools still refuse to do so.

Many of these schools that failed to disclose the origin of their donations were more likely to have received such funding from Middle Eastern governments.

Worse yet, the NCRI warned that the schools that have likely received funding from Middle Eastern dictatorships have also seen a rise in anti-Israeli sentiment and intolerant behavior toward Jews and Judaism.

“A massive influx of foreign, concealed donations to American institutions of higher learning, much of it from authoritarian regimes with notable support from Middle Eastern sources, reflects or supports heightened levels of intolerance towards Jews, open inquiry and free expression,” read the report.

The report further warned that, from 2015 to 2020, “institutions that accepted money from Middle Eastern donors had, on average, 300 percent more antisemitic incidents than those institutions that did not.”

The NCRI’s report did not name any specific colleges where an increase in funding from “undocumented” sources coincided with an increased antisemitic climate. However, the report did point out that eight Ivy League universities “were disproportionately represented,” and received the largest share of unreported foreign donations.

These include Cornell University, Harvard University, Yale University, Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania, which ranked second, third, sixth, 16th and 18th, respectively, among the top 20 universities that received funding from unreported sources.

“This report raises the sobering possibility that international actors are using undisclosed channels to funnel large amounts of money into college campuses (including elite institutions that often have outsized influence on American culture and politics) for purposes harmful to the democratic norms of pluralism, tolerance and freedom,” warned the authors of the report.

“There clearly has been an erosion of democratic norms on campuses… These developments are surely complex and multiply determined,” continued the report. “One possibility, however, is that receipt of undocumented funding from foreign sources, especially authoritarian ones, has contributed to these developments.”

Leftists and islamists have proven, time after time, that they are 100% kindred in how they will commit any atrocity and sink to any lie in order to advance their agenda. The abominable demonstrations on the Nation’s college campuses, following the Hamas attacks, may be shocking in their depravity, but they really shouldn’t be surprising. The venomous anti-Semitism that has been on parade in the past four weeks is only the latest manifestation of the twisted thinking that had already poisoned so many minds of “professors” and administrators. Agenda-driven leftists have been using the teacher’s podium for decades, at enormous financial cost to the American people, to trash our Nation’s history and heritage. Their willingness to attack Israel, while lauding the islamist murderers of Hamas and Hezbollah, is merely the next logical step in their sick/twisted journey. And of course the students are merely regurgitating the venom with which they’ve been indoctrinated.

Lenin described such minions as his “useful idiots,” who devoutly embraced and advanced and agenda that would eventually see many of them in the Gulag. Similarly, Saul Alinsky, when writing his seminal work on the leftist takedown of society “Rules for Radicals,” extolled young people, ostensibly for their energy and idealism. But here again, Alinsky was more interested in manipulation than the truth. Still in the pandering phase of a Marxist onslaught, Alinsky had to present a front that wouldn’t clue the gullible youth of America on how they were being used. His real “appreciation” of them was on account of the ease with which they could be conned into advancing a movement that would destroy their own future prospects. And the ruse continues unabated to this day.

In what may be a tiny “silver lining” to this dark, sullied cloud, many Jewish liberals in America, from college dorms, to shops on Main Street, to business board rooms and big entertainment, are undergoing an awakening, rude though it may be, to the fact that the leftists with whom they’ve long aligned themselves are just as willing to hate them, as they were to despise this Nation’s founding Judeo-Christian principles. This could be a major turning point for them, if it isn’t too little, too late. It is high time they realize they simply cannot befriend such evil. Despite the fervency of their efforts at aiding and abetting it, evil will never be their friend!

Predictably, the entire leftist/media collusion with the islamists is being conducted, as always, behind a smokescreen of total fraud. Claims of being “pro-Palestinian” are actually cloaked affirmations of being pro-Hamas. Likewise, efforts to condemn Israel are actually efforts to “legitimize” militant Islam. So why would the American left be so ready to follow such an ultimately suicidal course? Understanding this enigma requires first understanding the psychosis and duplicity of leftist ideology.

Leftist never truly care about any “cause” they claim to champion. Their real interest is always and only about advancing their agenda, which is the acquisition of uncontested power. The same goes for islamists. All the chaos, suffering, and atrocities committed during this past month by Hamas, and all the leftist propagandizing and grandstanding over Hamas (the “Palestinians”) as “victims,” is proof.

Consider the real oppression and subjugation to strict religious prohibitions/tenets of Islam, and the brutish punishment for any who fail to totally submit, in comparison to the realities of a Nation of “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” founded on Judeo-Christian principle. Bogusly claiming to want to “free the common man,” leftists ought to be thoroughly opposed to the oppression and squalor of islamism.

But leftists are ultimately working in service to Marxism, which is no less a “religion” of blind “faith,” with its own mercilessly strict code of behavior, historically enforced by the prospect of the gulag or firing squad for heretics. Such a fate has yet to befall Americans on a vast scale, owing to the stalwart refusal of real Christians and Conservatives to submit to it, and their Second Amendment ability to withstand a frontal onslaught on their God-given rights.

So the strategy has to be more insidious, the so-called “death by a thousand cuts.” It has been ensuing and encroaching on Real America for several decades, but never at such an alarming pace that people might rise against it in concert. Leftists could not afford a direct confrontation of that nature, at least until recently. Now, the evil they seek to advance has a strong enough foothold, and the opponents of that evil are feeling vulnerable enough, that it can more boldly proclaim itself without fear of sufficient opposition. And on this stage, the corresponding malignancies of islamism find a rich environment in which to advance themselves.

It was therefore inevitable that both forces would combine, at least for the moment, in their attacks on the American Ideal. And the Country’s Jewish population, whether Patriot or anti-American leftist, find themselves in the crosshairs.

Thankfully, enough Jewish Americans of the “Greatest Generation” have passed on their rallying cry of “Never Again.” The horrors of the Holocaust may be fading from first-hand memories as the survivors grow old and pass on. But enough of a lesson was learned, and can still be taught to the willing, to prevent another passive acquiescence to a monster state with murderous intent. Real America supports the efforts of Israel to repel the terrorists and live in peace. And Real America stands by its own Jewish citizenry who know too well the horrors of the morally depraved, when they have no restraint on their power to do evil. And, God willing, we will never surrender to them.

A group of Jewish middle school students were attacked following Hamas’s attacks in Israel. According to Libs of TikTok, it didn’t get handled the way a sane society would be expected to handle it:

School makes Jewish students sign gag order after being attacked

Jewish middle schoolers at @MBUSDnews were reportedly attacked by other students after Hamas attacks on Israel. Some students allegedly said “revenge is beautiful” and “all Jews should be killed.”

The school investigated and concluded that it wasn’t hate speech, the perpetrators received no punishment, and the school made the victims sign a gag order to not discuss the incident.

Since the school doesn’t want anyone discussing it, definitely don’t share this or tag them!

According to a Change.org petition:

As deeply concerned parents and community members, we are raising this issue due to the alarming incidents of antisemitism in our local schools. Our children’s welfare is paramount, and it is distressing that they are exposed to such hate speech. A 6th-grade student in Manhattan Beach Middle School (MBMS) has repeatedly targeted four Jewish students verbally on separate occasions. Instead of addressing the perpetrator, Manhattan Beach Unified School District (MBUSD) and MBMS silenced the victimized students by making them sign a “gag order”.

The school’s motto “No Place for Hate” must be upheld in its entirety. This situation calls for a compassionate approach that prioritizes education. It is not compassionate to allow an 11 or 12-year-old to continue attending school “as usual” after engaging in hate speech and without any penalty. This would only propagate the behavior.

We will dig deeper and determine if there’s any more to the story. So far, it’s pretty ugly, but that doesn’t mean it can’t get uglier.

Corporate media was just as hurt by the failure as the Feds. Here’s a Chicago’s Channel 9 lamenting the failed bonanza:

No incidents related to “National Day of Hate” were reported Saturday, the Chicago Police Department said. Chicago police, Illinois State Police and other police agencies released statements urging people to be vigilant after they saw an increase in “domestic violent extremist messaging” about the day.

On Saturday evening, the Anti-Defamation League said despite concerns about an increase in anti-Semitic activity, it was a “pretty typical Saturday in America.”

State police said Neo-Nazi and anti-Semite groups were encouraging hate actions over the weekend. According to the ADL, “National Day of Hate,” a day they said could’ve included anti-Semitic and white supremacist propaganda distributions and banners, was Feb. 25.

“This anti-Semitic proposed event has instructed like-minded individuals to drop banners, place stickers and flyers, and vandalize by way of graffiti as forms of biased so-called activism,” a community alert from Chicago police read. “These organizers request that potential actions be recorded and/or photographed to submit online.”

The ADL said the day was originally proposed by an Iowa-based neo-Nazi group. Both Illinois State Police and Chicago police said there was no intelligence for the community to take action on.

The Feds desperately needs to manufacture another J6 incident to justify paying more attention to grandma “domestic terrorists” speaking out at school board meetings than child rapists and murderers.
