Now that Joe Biden has dropped out of the race and Kamala Harris has become the presumptive nominee, there is one really big question that we all need to ask.
Could it be possible that this was their plan all along?
Consider the following facts…
The last hope that the “anyone but Kamala” crowd had completely vanished when Gretchen Whitmer formally endorsed Harris…
Today, not only am I fired up to endorse @KamalaHarris for President of the United States, I’m proud to serve as a co-chair of her campaign.
In Vice President Harris, Michigan voters have a candidate they can count on to lower their costs, protect their freedoms, and build an economy that works for working people. Donald Trump is a convicted felon who stokes violence, overturned Roe, and drove our economy into the ground. We cannot let him anywhere near the White House.
Vice President Harris, you have my full support. Let’s win this.
There are some people out there that are still suggesting that Michele Obama could come swooping in at the last moment and steal the nomination from Harris.
It’s not going to happen. In fact, I think that the Obamas played a major role in making sure that Harris would be the choice. This is a done deal, and it was executed with ruthless efficiency.
One thing that is going to be very difficult to hide is the fact that it can be extremely unpleasant to work with Harris.
It is being reported that only 5 of the 47 staffers that were working for her in 2021 were still working for her during the early part of 2024…
About half of the vice president’s staff is paid by the Senate, which requires regular disclosures. Of the 47 Harris staffers listed in 2021, only five still worked for her as of this spring, according to the disclosures.
Like Hillary Clinton, behind the scenes Harris can be absolutely brutal, and that is one of the reasons a lot of people just don’t like her.
To me, it appears that the Democrats are committing political suicide. Recent surveys indicate that Harris will perform even worse against Trump than Biden would have…
Her post-debate polls against Trump relative to Biden have a great deal of variance, ranging from around 8 points worse to 4 points better than how Biden performed. Based on an average of 26 national polls conducted over the past month, Harris trailed Trump by 4.5 points nationally compared with a smaller 3-point deficit for Biden.
Speaking of Biden, where in the world is he?
Seriously.
The last time we saw Biden, he was slowly disembarking from Air Force One in Dover, Delaware on Wednesday evening.
The public did not see Biden on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, and then he suddenly dropped out of the race on Sunday…
Biden’s decision to drop out came on the fourth day of sequestration at his shore home in Delaware, where he’s been isolating while recovering from Covid.
The president was initially joined by just a small group of aides, and he has spent the entire period out of public view.
Many thought that it was really odd that Biden would drop out of the race without making any sort of speech.
One of those that is asking questions about Biden’s status is journalist Glenn Greenwald…
And journalist Glenn Greenwald – an anti-Biden left-winger – posted on the social media site deeming it ‘strange and wrong’ that Biden has yet to give a televised announcement.
‘I don’t endorse Biden conspiracies, but still: It’s strange and wrong that Biden hasn’t spoken given the historic magnitude of his announcement,’ Greenwald wrote.
‘Having a President drop out by tweet and then disappear is bizarre. If he’s well enough to decide, then he’s well enough to speak.’
At such a historic moment, why couldn’t Biden even say just a few words?
Something isn’t right.
There are some that are suggesting that Biden may not have even signed the letter that declared that he was dropping out…
Speculation has since started to grow, with conspiracy theorists poring over its authenticity, with some believing he never actually signed the letter himself.
His signature on the letter shared on Sunday show his name being underlined, which according to some commentators he has never done before.
Billionaire Bill Ackman has been one of those sharing the theory online, frequently reposting different takes on his signature to his X profile.
When asked about how Biden is doing, the White House insisted that he has almost fully recovered from his recent illness…
President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 symptoms nearly cleared up five days after he was diagnosed with the virus for the third time, according to White House Physician Kevin O’Connor.
The latest information on Biden’s condition comes amid speculation and conspiracies running amok online that the President is either more sick than is being shared or is incapacitated or deceased.
‘His symptoms have almost resolved completely,’ O’Connor wrote in the latest update on Biden’s recovery.
If this is true, then why haven’t we seen Biden by now?
Frank Biden fueled speculation that something might be seriously wrong when he told CBS that Joe Biden’s health played a “considerable role” in the decision to drop out of the race and that he was looking forward to spending “whatever time we have left” with his brother…
Frank Biden said to CBS that he was selfishly glad to have Joe Biden back for “whatever time we have left.” Then, when he was asked if health factored into his brother’s decision to step aside from the race, he said, “absolutely” his health played a “considerable role” in his decision.
“Whatever time we have left” sounds ominous. Is that just a recognition that he’s 81, or is that a hint of something more that we’re not being told?
“Whatever time we have left”?
That sounds rather ominous.
And according to the White House schedule that was released on Monday, there are no public events scheduled for Joe Biden this week at all…
President Joe Biden will hold no public events all week to explain why he stepped aside, according to the White House schedule released Monday.
The lack of a public appearance will increase concerns about Biden’s health.
Many commentators believe that Biden’s lack of a public appearance to announce his decision will fuel calls for him to resign from the presidency, citing fears that he is not able to run the executive branch.
It is becoming clear that we are not being told the whole story.
Of course that is the way that they always operate.
Ultimately, we could end up with Kamala Harris in the White House just as the most chaotic chapters in our entire history come crashing down upon us.
That is a thought that should chill all of us to the core.

]]>In pulling the rug out from under Biden, the NYT let Biden down easy, delivering an anti-Trump punch, revealing its leftist bias. The board wrote, “It is the best chance to protect the soul of the nation – the cause that drew Mr. Biden to run for the presidency in 2019 – from the malign warping of Mr. Trump. And it is the best service that Mr. Biden can provide to a country that he has nobly served for so long.”
Another group with bad news for Biden are the oddsmakers. While recognizing his home field advantage going into the debate, giving him a 38.1% chance of winning the November election, after the debate those odds dropped to 23.1%.
Other Biden debate critics included President Barack Obama (admitting it was “bad”); CNN Democrat analyst Van Jones (he did the best he could, “But he had a test to meet tonight to restore confidence in the country and of the base, and he failed to do that …”); Democratic strategist Donna Brazile (admitting Biden’s performance was lacking while remaining confident he will still be the party’s nominee); Obama’s former adviser David Axelrod (a “sense of shock” existed over how poorly Biden performed); and a frustrated Michael LaRosa, Jill Biden’s former press secretary (citing mainstream media’s post-debate dishonesty in covering for Biden exclaiming they were “gaslighting” and “spinning.”
While some of Biden’s media supporters find themselves finally having to acknowledge his obvious incompetence to serve a second term, Democratic Party leaders still fail to do so. They will continue to cheerlead for Biden until the “magic moment” occurs. We are left wondering whether it will occur at the Aug. 19 Democratic National Convention or earlier.
The indications are the DNC will push for a stronger candidate to replace Biden. Of course, the issue is whether Biden will endorse the plan. Clearly, a key obstacle to this is Jill Biden who exhibits no hesitancy about allowing her husband to continue embarrassing himself. She, better than anyone, should recognize his incompetence, having to assist in leading him off stage or to finish a thought.
While MSM warns, if elected again, former President Donald Trump will launch a revenge campaign against his Democrat opponents, they remain silent about Jill keeping Joe’s nose to the reelection campaign grindstone as she seeks revenge against Trump. Selfishly, both Jill and Hunter gave Joe the post-debate advice not to withdraw.
Despite Biden’s low popularity, some polls indicate a surprisingly close race. That, along with Biden’s refusal to go along with the replacement ploy, may leave party leaders with but one choice – to accept Biden as the nominee but dump the albatross around his neck, Vice President Kamala Harris. As unpopular as Biden may be, Harris is among the most unpopular VPs in modern history.
Clearly Biden’s 2020 selection of Harris sought to give impetus to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiative he would launch as president. But Harris’ incompetence and Biden’s age worry voters. Therefore, whether or not Biden is replaced, Harris has to be shown the door if Democrats hope to win the election. Not since 1944, when Henry Wallace failed to be renominated as FDR’s vice president (replaced by Harry Truman) has an incumbent VP been dropped. It would raise questions, however, whether it represented a high level failure of Biden’s DEI policy.
If Biden remains adamant about remaining the nominee rather than face the indignity of withdrawing from the election, party leaders may negotiate a deal by which he replaces Harris with a more acceptable candidate to Democratic voters – along with a condition to placate the Bidens – i.e., if elected, he would gracefully resign early on in his second term to allow his VP to take the helm. The question then becomes, who would be a more acceptable candidate for vice president to replace Harris?
Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton might be an option should her ego allow her to accept the No. 2 spot. Gavin Newsom is another option, although his destructive track record both as mayor of San Francisco and now as California’s governor may turn some voters off. He also carries moral judgment baggage having had a 2005 affair with his best friend’s wife while she was suffering from alcoholism and drug addiction. While Newsom deflects Biden replacement rumors, saying he supports Biden’s reelection, he obviously would not turn down a DNC coup to do so.
Michelle Obama’s name has been tossed about to replace Biden, though she claims disinterest. There is only one way Joe could win, by selecting a heretofore unmentioned VP who would unify Democrats behind him. It would involve Barack Obama running as Biden’s vice president. The 22nd Amendment, passed in 1951, states, “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice. …” The key word is “elected.” Thus Obama could legally be elected vice president, paving the way for Biden to resign soon after his inauguration and for Obama to occupy the Oval Office, completing his term.
A scholarly article suggests “A twice-before-elected President may become a Vice-President either through appointment or through election and – like any other Vice-President – may thereafter succeed to the Presidency for the full remainder of the pending term.” It finds the 12th Amendment’s mandate, “… no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States” does not bar this.
What will be interesting regardless of whether Biden, Harris or both are replaced on the ticket is the party’s justification after 35 months of promoting them as fully competent to serve, even after Biden’s disastrous debate performance. Hollywood donors announced they will not be “giving any more money” to the Democratic Party unless Biden drops out. How is it, while Biden’s incompetence is discernible by Hollywood’s elite, Harris and the majority of Biden’s Cabinet do not see it, failing to remove him from office under Section 4 of the 25th Amendment?
If the DNC is going to work out a presidential nominee deal, it is under pressure to do so before the August convention due to the need of meeting Ohio’s Aug. 7 ballot deadline. Thus, there is talk it may act on July 21. Meanwhile, Biden claims he is in the race until it ends, causing several Democrats running for reelection in key races to distance themselves from him.
Of 31 incumbent U.S. presidents who have run for reelection, 21 won second terms while 10 did not. Which side of history Biden will join in November may well be determined Friday as he seeks to recover from the disastrous image he portrayed in his June 27 debate with Trump. On July 5, ABC will air his interview with George Stephanopoulos. Traditionally, when Biden has suffered a political hit, Stephanopoulos has proven to be “the go-to guy.” As the interview will not be live and therefore open to cutting-and-pasting, viewers will be left wondering. But should Biden fail to come across as alert and logical, he may well be toast.
But the underlying message voters should take from the party leadership’s continuing defense of Biden’s deteriorating mental health is its prioritization of political power over the country’s best interests.
It will be fascinating to watch the DNC event. It should provide us with a magic moment unlike any party convention has done in history.

]]>On Oct. 7, 2016 – just two days before the presidential debate between Trump and Clinton – Clapper issued the unprecedented intelligence advisory with Obama’s personal blessing. It seemed to lend credence to what the Clinton camp was telling the media — that Trump was working with Russian President Vladimir Putin through a secret back channel to steal the election. Sure enough, the Democratic nominee pounced on it to smear Trump at the debate.
And that wouldn’t be the only historically consequential maneuver for Clapper, whose role in skewing presidential campaigns might deserve a special place in the annals of nefarious election meddling – by, in this case, a domestic, not foreign, intelligence service.
In 2020, he was the lead signatory on the “intelligence” statement that discredited the New York Post’s October bombshell exposing emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop, which documented how Hunter’s corrupt Burisma paymasters had met with Joe Biden when he was vice president. It was released Oct. 19, just three days before Trump and Biden debated each other in Nashville. Fifty other U.S. “Intelligence Community” officials and experts signed the seven-page document, which claimed “the arrival on the U.S. political scene of emails purportedly belonging to Vice President Biden’s son Hunter, much of it related to his time serving on the board of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
In hindsight, Clapper’s well-timed pseudo-intelligence in 2016 and 2020 helped Clinton and Biden make the case against Trump as a potentially Kremlin-compromised figure, charges that crippled his presidency and later arguably denied him reelection.
The phony laptop letter actually helped Biden seal his narrow victory since many of his voters in the close election told pollsters they would have had second thoughts about backing him had they known of the damning materials contradicting his denials he knew anything about his son’s shady foreign dealings.
A post-election survey by The Polling Company, for one, found that thanks to the discrediting and suppression of the laptop story, 45% of Biden voters in swing states said they were “unaware of the financial scandal enveloping Biden and his son” and that full awareness of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal would have led more than 9% of these Biden voters to abandon their vote for him – thereby flipping all six of the swing states he won over to Trump and giving Trump the victory.
In effect, Joe Biden was elected president because millions of voters were steered away by Clapper and his intelligence colleagues from learning about the damning contents on Hunter Biden’s laptop.
In 2016, Clapper appeared to use his authority as Obama’s chief of intelligence to try to trip up Trump on behalf of Clinton.
But not everyone in the administration was on board with releasing his official statement about supposed Kremlin meddling.
Then-FBI Director James Comey had also met in the Situation Room in early October to discuss the plan. But Comey balked at accusing “Russia’s senior-most officials” of authorizing the “alleged hack” of the Clinton campaign and trying “to interfere in the U.S. election process,” as the two-page document claimed. Conspicuously, the FBI did not sign on to the intelligence.
Still, Clapper implied in his statement that this was the finding of the entire “U.S. Intelligence Community” and that it was “confident the Russian Government directed the recent compromises of emails.” Aside from Clapper’s Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the only other agency that attached its name to the assessment was the Department of Homeland Security. Also remarkable was the paucity of underlying evidence. The joint ODNI-DHS statement based its conclusion primarily on a report by a cybersecurity contractor hired by the Clinton campaign’s law firm, who later walked back his finding in a sworn congressional deposition, allowing: “We did not have concrete evidence [Russian agents stole campaign emails].”
At best, Clapper’s finding was shoddy tradecraft. At worst, it was manufactured, or simply “dreamed up,” as one former FBI counterintelligence official described it to RealClearInvestigations.
Either way, it came at a highly opportune time for Clinton. The Democratic nominee seized on the intelligence report during her debate with Trump in St. Louis on Oct. 9 to tarnish her Republican opponent as some kind of Russian agent.
“You know, let’s talk about what’s really going on here, because our intelligence community just came out and said in the last few days that the Kremlin – meaning Putin and the Russian government – are directing the attacks, the hacking on American accounts to influence our election,” Clinton asserted, citing Clapper’s warning. “We have never in the history of our country been in a situation where an adversary, a foreign power, is working so hard to influence the outcome of the election.”
“And believe me, they’re not doing it to get me elected,” she continued. “They’re doing it to try to influence the election for Donald Trump.”
“Now, maybe because he has praised Putin, maybe because he says he agrees with a lot of what Putin wants to do, maybe because he wants to do business in Moscow, I don’t know the reasons. But we deserve answers,” Clinton went on, clearly reciting a prepared talking point. “And we should demand that Donald release all of his tax returns so that people can see what are the entanglements and the financial relationships that he has with the Russians and other foreign powers.”
Some former U.S. intelligence officials say the Oct. 7 intelligence assessment appears to have been cooked up for the benefit of Clinton.
“There was no evidence to support it,” said retired U.S. Army Col. Derek Harvey, who investigated the origins of the assessment for the House Intelligence Committee. “It was a political diversion to help Clinton.”
He pointed out that the specious sourcing behind the intelligence violated Clapper’s own 2015 Intelligence Community directive outlining analytical standards for such assessments. What’s more, his directive prohibited any political bias in intelligence reporting, warning that assessments must be “independent of political consideration.”
“Analytic assessments must not be distorted by, nor shaped for, advocacy of a particular audience, agenda or policy viewpoint,” according to the six-page document, which was signed by Clapper himself.
Former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker said Clapper’s Oct. 7 assessment is another example of the many covert ops the Intelligence Community ran against Trump to try to keep him from power or to minimize his effectiveness while in office. By pre-cooking the conclusion about the Russian government targeting Clinton, he said, Clapper abused the U.S. government’s awesome intelligence powers to intervene in a U.S. election.
“In hindsight, it is now clear that the leaders of our intelligence agencies directed their immense powers towards all things Trump,” he said in an RCI interview.
Swecker added that Clapper, now 83, was easily manipulated by Obama and then-CIA Director John Brennan, even though Clapper oversaw the CIA. “James Clapper was the Barney Fife of the Intelligence Community,” he said.
The CIA and other American intelligence agencies are prohibited from getting involved in domestic affairs, Swecker noted, and certainly not American elections.
Attempts to seek comment from Clapper, now retired, were unsuccessful. But in his 2018 memoir, “Facts and Fears,” Clapper revealed that he and then-DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson, another Obama appointee, “agonized over the precise wording” in the Oct. 7 intelligence release, ostensibly because the linkages to the Kremlin were gauzy at best.
“We didn’t see any hard evidence of political collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government,” Clapper admitted on page 349, “but as I said at the time, my dashboard warning lights were all lit.”
He also suggested he was looking out for Clinton – whom his boss, President Obama, had publicly endorsed and was actively campaigning for at the time.
“Both the Russians and the Trump campaign were, in parallel, pushing conspiracy theories against Secretary Clinton,” Clapper complained, namely that “she was corrupt.”
Added the former intel chief: “Jeh and I felt strongly that we should inform the electorate,” and “President Obama assented.” In doing so, Clapper confessed they “pushed the boundaries” of what they could say about the purported “Russian activities.” As much as they juiced the intel, though, they agreed to stop short of blaming Putin directly.
While Clapper, in his book, mentioned the presidential debate that took place two days later, he did so only in passing and failed to note the key fact that Clinton cited his ginned-up intelligence during the televised event, almost on cue.
The Clinton campaign’s foreign policy adviser later gloated about the Clapper statement, showing how important it was to the campaign.
“The fact is that the entire Intelligence Community stood behind a statement in October that the Russian campaign had hacked the DNC and released their emails,” Jake Sullivan testified in a closed-door December 2017 interview with the House Intelligence Committee. “We feared that we were under attack, not just by the Russians, but by a coordinated [sic] with the Trump campaign as well.”
Sullivan was mistaken, of course. The entire Intelligence Community did not stand behind the statement, which was backed by no real evidence. At the time, according to internal documents, the FBI called the notion that the Russian government was behind the alleged hack “speculation.” And nothing the Russians may have done was coordinated with the Trump campaign, as multiple investigations have concluded.
Having been nearly charged with perjury in 2013 for lying to Congress about intelligence gathering before apologizing, Clapper appeared to politicize intelligence ahead of the 2020 presidential debate as well.
In an Oct. 19, 2020, formal statement, Obama’s and Biden’s old intelligence czar falsely implied damning emails found on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop were Russian disinformation. The “intelligence” came just in time for Biden, who would be squaring off with Trump in three days, just like it did for Clinton in October 2016.
“Clapper didn’t know the Russians were involved. He was just spitballing. His pre-debate guesswork was similar to his pre-debate so-called intelligence on Russia in 2016,” said the former senior FBI counterintelligence official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Although the statement declared the Hunter Biden laptop “had all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” it provided no actual evidence of Russian involvement. Clapper and his colleagues asserted that they strongly suspected “the Russian government played a significant role in the case.” Later in the statement, they went further to state “our view” shared by the Intelligence Community — not merely a suspicion anymore — “that the Russians are involved in the Hunter Biden email issue.”
“There is incentive for Moscow to pull out the stops to do anything possible to help Trump win and-or to weaken Biden should he win,” they speculated. “A ‘laptop op’ fits the bill, as the publication of the emails are clearly designed to discredit Biden.”
But Clapper was dead wrong. There was no Russian “op.” And the laptop and its contents — including the damning emails published by the Post — were 100% real and authentic, as Special Counsel David Weiss confirmed during the recent trial of Hunter Biden on three felony gun charges, for which he was convicted earlier this month. The Russian government had nothing to do with any of it.
In retrospect, many political analysts agree Clapper’s intel statement was designed not to inform the electorate but to mislead it. But more significantly, the timing of its release suggests it was meant to help Biden in the next presidential debate, which was scheduled just three days later in Nashville.
During that final presidential debate, held on Oct. 22, 2020, Biden dismissed concerns about his son’s laptop emails and family foreign influence-peddling as part of a “Russian plant” after Trump lit into him about the laptop story. “Joe, they’re calling you a corrupt politician,” Trump said. “Take a look at the laptop from Hell.” Leaning on Clapper’s intel statement, Biden flatly denied knowing anything about Hunter’s foreign business dealings.
“Look, there are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what he’s accusing me of is a Russian plant,” Biden shot back. “They have said this is, has all the characteristics — four, five former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage. Nobody believes it except him and his good friend Rudy Giuliani.”
The intel provided a much-needed lifeline for the former vice president.
It were as if Clapper had teed up the perfect talking point for Biden. As it turns out, Biden campaign officials had worked with Clapper’s team prior to the release of the intel statement accusing Putin of planting the laptop story.
In a House deposition, former deputy CIA Director Mike Morell, a Clapper confidant and one of the 51 signatories of the letter, testified that around Oct. 17, top Biden campaign aide Antony Blinken, now Biden’s Secretary of State, reached out to him to discuss the Hunter Biden laptop story.
Morell revealed that one of the goals in releasing the letter two days later “was to help then-Vice President Biden in the debate,” according to an April 20, 2023, letter House investigators sent to Blinken. The day after speaking with the Biden campaign, Morell blasted out an email to former intelligence officials to recruit them to sign the Oct. 19 intel letter. “We want to give the VP a talking point to use in response” to Trump in the event he attacks Biden over the laptop revelations during the upcoming debate, Morell wrote his colleagues. After the Oct. 22 debate, Morell testified that Biden campaign chairman Steve Ricchetti called him to thank him “for putting the statement out.” Morell said former CIA chief of staff Jeremy Bash was also involved in the coordination effort. Bash happens to be the ex-husband of Dana Bash, who will be one of the CNN moderators questioning Trump and Biden at Thursday night’s debate in Atlanta.
In effect, the Intelligence Community conspired with the Biden campaign to deceive the electorate by creating a false talking point for Biden in the presidential debate, which some government watchdogs say constituted an unreported campaign contribution and a potential violation of federal campaign finance laws.
On the same day that Clapper released the statement, then-Politico reporter Natasha Bertrand hyped it in a story with the conclusive headline: “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say.” During the earlier frenzied coverage of Russiagate, Bertrand, who now works for CNN, acted as a go-to reporter for leaks from intelligence officials about Trump. She quoted one signatory to the letter as being confident that “once again the Russians are interfering” in U.S. elections. About 15 minutes after Politico published its story, Jen Psaki tweeted a link to the Politico article. Psaki was named Biden’s press secretary the next month. The Biden campaign repeatedly cited Clapper’s statement to dismiss the allegations against Hunter and Joe Biden. Clapper played his part by jumping on CNN to claim the laptop was “textbook Soviet tradecraft.”
It’s clear Clapper was rooting for Biden to win. Three days before Clapper released his all-too-convenient intelligence letter, he had donated $1,000 to Biden’s campaign, according to Federal Election Commission records. He had given another $250 to Biden For President the previous October. In the current election cycle, records show Clapper has contributed at least $300 so far to Biden.
RealClearInvestigations reached out to Clapper for comment but did not hear back. However, in a previous statement, he was unapologetic. “I stand by the statement made at the time,” he told the New York Post. “I think sounding such a cautionary note at the time was appropriate.”
Clapper’s history of intrigue gainst Trump includes leaking damaging classified information about him to the media.
CNN anchor Jake Tapper thought he had the scoop of his career when, on Jan. 10, 2017, he reported that President-elect Trump had been briefed by the FBI about “classified documents” containing information from a “credible” intelligence source that the Russians had “compromising” dirt on him. Citing unnamed “U.S. officials,” the report, co-bylined with Carl Bernstein of Watergate fame, also falsely claimed that the Trump campaign and the Russian government had “exchange[d] information” throughout the election and that these allegations had been verified. Tapper failed to note that the supposedly “classified” information came from political opposition research funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign, otherwise known as the Steele dossier, compiled by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele.
As flawed as the story was, it triggered a feeding frenzy in the national media, which up to that point backed off from covering the wild and unsubstantiated allegations contained in the Steele dossier. But after they learned from Tapper – by way of Clapper – that the U.S. Intelligence Community itself had taken a keen interest in the dossier and appeared to be taking it seriously, they reported the allegations against Trump nonstop for several years as if the dossier reports were the Pentagon Papers.
When congressional investigators first asked Clapper about the CNN leak in a July 2017 deposition, Clapper “flatly denied ‘discuss[ing] the dossier [compiled by Steele] or any other intelligence related to Russia hacking of the 2016 election with journalists,’” according to a report issued by the House Intelligence Committee. But Clapper changed his story upon further questioning. “Clapper subsequently acknowledged discussing the ‘dossier with CNN journalist Jake Tapper.’” The report added that Clapper secretly spoke with Tapper in early January 2017 and that on Jan. 10, CNN published Tapper’s story about the dossier allegations, for which he won the Merriman Smith Award for broadcast journalism in 2018.
The next day, Clapper issued a statement describing a call with Trump in which Clapper “expressed my profound dismay at the leaks that have been appearing in the press” and stressed that “I do not believe the leaks came from within the IC,” or Intelligence Community.
Clapper, who was later hired by CNN as an official “national security analyst,” had blatantly lied not only to the incoming president but also to the public. Again. And in effect, he had used Tapper, who’s not only failed to correct the record at CNN, but finds himself in the position to grill Trump on Thursday night as co-moderator with Bash of the first 2024 presidential debate in Atlanta.

]]>CNN finalized its rules and format on Saturday for the 90-minute June 27 debate in Atlanta between Trump and Biden, which consist of silencing microphones and preventing a live studio audience from attending. Palmieri said there is a chance that the debate rules could help Trump, but suggested that is not the most likely outcome as each one appears to boost Biden.
“It may be that Trump does know how to use a camera, and he has a smart team around him and if they decide to do something other than we expected … there could be a scenario where the rules work for Trump,” Palmierie told host Katy Tur. “But if you look at them based on past behavior, I don’t see anything in the rules that is a benefit to Trump, and they all seem to be something that would help, that would make it a better environment, for Biden.”
Ex-Obama Adviser 'Surprised' Trump Would Agree To Debate Rules That 'All' Create 'Better Environment For Biden' pic.twitter.com/pGugUIwMsZ
— Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) June 17, 2024
“I’m with you, Katy,” Palmieri continued. “Like, I don’t understand why Trump agreed to these rules. And [NBC News Correspondent Vaughn Hillyard] said, ‘well, you know, he’s been saying he could do it anytime, anywhere.’ But it’s not as if Trump stands by his word or anything. So I am still surprised that they said yes right away to CNN, they said yes right away to ABC and that they’ve agreed to these rules.”
Former CNN political analyst Chris Cillizza on Monday said that muting the microphones “clearly benefits Biden” as it takes away Trump’s potential strategy of rattling his opponent. He also said the two commercial breaks during the debate will help Biden as they provide him a breather to “regroup,” and that the lack of a studio audience helps the president because Trump supporters are more vocal and likely to cheer and boo the candidates.
The one rule he said benefits Trump is that the candidates will not be allowed to have pre-written notes, as Biden “struggles a little bit more when it comes to extemporaneous speaking” and could seem a bit “lost.”
Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will not attend the debate as he failed to meet CNN’s thresholds to participate.
“Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f— things up.” –Barack Obama
(Zero Hedge)—With less than eight months before the 2024 election, the Biden re-election campaign is in big trouble. Not only is Biden lagging in the polls vs. Donald Trump, the border crisis he created by shredding all of Trump’s Executive Orders on immigration has resulted in 10 million illegals flooding into the United States – which has left even Democrats livid.
What’s more, Biden is quickly losing the support of young Americans, and the latino vote.
Things are so bad that TIME magazine has just devoted 3,700 words to let us know that Barack Obama ‘warned’ the Biden campaign last June that defeating Trump would be harder in 2024 (because no pandemic or hoax dossier to set him up?). Six months later, Obama ‘saw few signs of improvement.’
Obama returned to the White House in December, with a ‘more urgent’ message: the re-election campaign was behind schedule in building out field operations, and that an ‘insular group of advisers’ in the West Wing was hamstringing the effort.
Now, it’s really bad…
Three months later, the 2024 general election is under way, and Biden is indeed in trouble. His stubbornly low approval ratings have sunk into the high 30s, worse than those of any other recent President seeking re-election. He’s trailed or tied Trump in most head-to-head matchups for months. Voters express concerns about his policies, his leadership, his age, and his competency. The coalition that carried Biden to victory in 2020 has splintered; the Democrats’ historic advantage with Black, Latino, and Asian American voters has dwindled to lows not seen since the civil rights movement. -TIME
Meanwhile, Biden’s inner circle is “defiantly sanguine” as a “fog of dread” descends on Democrats.
The rest of the TIME article is full of anecdotes of dissatisfied Democrats, particularly young voters such as 20-year-old Aidan Kohn-Murphy.
It has nothing to do, as many assume, with the President’s age. With palpable frustration, Kohn-Murphy enumerates the list of perceived policy “betrayals” as though they were “tattooed on the back of my hand.”
According to the report, GenZ voters “don’t understand why they should be compelled to cast their ballot for a candidate who has done so many things that are against their values,” said Kohn-Murphy.
Losing the minority vote
In 2020, Biden carried 87% of the black vote. Now, he’s polling at just 63%, a sharp decline. Meanwhile four years ago he won hispanic votes by a ratio of 2 to 1. He now trails Trump in that bloc.
Biden’s support of Israel amid the Gaza war has “tanked his standing with Muslim and Arab voters,” particularly in “must-win Michigan.”
Overall, Biden’s advantage over Trump among nonwhite Americans has shrunk from almost 50 points in 2020 to 12, according to the latest Times/Siena poll.
“It boils down to voters of color, and those voters are pissed,” said one former Biden campaign and White House official, who spoke on condition of anonymity. “I think it’s very likely he’ll lose.”
What’s more, nearly two dozen senior Democratic sources told TIME that Biden’s “campaign mechanics, structure, and staffing over most of the past year are partly to blame as well.”
While Obama was marching to re-election over the summer of 2012, his campaign head count topped 900. Despite plans to hire 350 new staffers, the Biden campaign ended 2023 with only around 70 paid employees, according to campaign finance filings.
Biden advisers don’t care about the president’s dismal numbers with young and nonwhite voters, as the “Biden brain trust” thinks they’ll vote for him again regardless.
“We’ve reached out to this group of nonwhite and young voters earlier than any presidential campaign ever has,” according to senior adviser Becca Siegel.
Good luck with that…
]]>The alleged operation against Trump and his associates, which predates the official start of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation, is a stark example of political weaponization of intelligence. The involvement of foreign allies in surveilling American citizens under the pretext of national security raises serious questions about the integrity of our democratic processes and the autonomy of our nation’s intelligence operations.
The narrative that has been pushed for years, that the investigation into Trump’s campaign began with an Australian tip about a boastful Trump aide, now appears to be a cover for a more extensive and coordinated effort to undermine Trump. If reports are accurate, British intelligence began targeting Trump on behalf of American intelligence agencies as early as 2015, long before the official narrative claims.
The implications of this are profound. It suggests an unprecedented level of collusion between U.S. intelligence agencies and their foreign counterparts to influence the outcome of an American presidential election. The use of foreign intelligence to circumvent American laws and surveillance limitations represents a grave threat to our nation’s sovereignty and the principles of democracy.
The fact that this operation was reportedly initiated at the behest of high-ranking officials within the Obama administration, including CIA Director John Brennan, only adds to the severity of the situation. Brennan’s alleged identification of Trump associates for surveillance by the Five Eyes alliance, and the directive to “bump” or make contact with them, illustrates a deliberate strategy to entangle the Trump campaign in a web of suspicion and intrigue.
Moreover, the reported involvement of foreign intelligence in crafting the Russia collusion narrative not only delegitimizes the subsequent investigation but also highlights the willingness of certain elements within the U.S. government to exploit international partnerships for domestic political gain. This revelation demands a thorough and transparent examination to ensure that such abuses of power are brought to light and severely punished to discourage them from being repeated.
As more details emerge, it is imperative that the American public demand accountability from those who orchestrated and executed this operation. The sanctity of our electoral process and the trust in our intelligence agencies are at stake. We must not allow the politicization of intelligence to go unchecked, nor can we tolerate the involvement of foreign powers in our democratic processes.
I rarely write in the first person, but, here, I must suspect my own thinking first, and let others confess or deny their own gullibility, without my making any accusations. Am I alone in being encouraged by the assurances of victory of these incessant drum-beating polls concerning the coming battle of the Titans? OK, maybe more like the battle between the Titan, Trump, and that other, well-past-his-expiration fellow, old Joe Biden. But how can any righteous being in this long-suffering nation not hear these daily lopsided polling reports, as music to the ears?
But, “fool me once,” etc., etc.
I remember, being nearly overcome with a joyful certainty, both in ’16 and ’20, that the forces opposing Trump’s MAGA were so patently pathetic that victory was assured. Being right, one time out of two, is never much comfort when you’re counting the times that we avoided a coup. Hmm. Is this a bit of déjà vu?
I remember deciding to skip the clot shot and being encouraged by all the information that was surfacing about the actual impotency of the China flu, if addressed with prompt symptomatic treatment (hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, any available inflammation-reducing treatments, administered immediately, etc.) and the gradually emerging but stark evidence of the deadly consequence of taking the “safe and effective” “vaccine.” I wrote an article calling it genocide. I thought we were about to turn the corner!
Instead, what emerged was a worldwide administrative state in lockstep denial of what has become obvious to the billions who now take a pass, opting out of any further administrations of the poison. We have gone from a planetary flood of the sadly fooled to a trickle of benighted, still willing, pin cushions. Despite this the promotions by Big Pharma, Big Gov and Big Media have continued. They are still running ads for the “vaccines.” And we still have no shortage of doctors who, in blinding fear, continue to carry the murderous party line. They’ve made enough money, by now to buy almost anyone – and gathered power enough to threaten, with professional and social extinction, anyone contra-indicating their deadly prescription.
I can remember being very excited to hear the prognosticated “news,” in 2020. Surely, one thought, as election fraud case after case was kicked up to the next higher court, the Supreme Court would inevitably have to hear the petition for relief, put forth by no less than 19 sovereign states. But it was not to be. Logically, it would seem to the rational mind the wholesale theft of America could never have begun or proceeded without the certainty of that outcome arranged and known in advance. Maybe they just had to improvise and lucked out, but an ace of blackmail spades up their sleeve for one or two of the Supremes seems more probable.
I remember watching “2,000 Mules” and writing some nonsense about the Kraken having been finally located. At last, the proof positive had been revealed with mathematically provable clarity. But so much as a mention of “2,000 Mules” was universally suppressed, even by Fox News and NewsMax.
So, now comes the time, to stop and measure the degree to which propaganda can utterly smother the truth.
Now comes the time to watch what we ourselves are thinking and question the origins of the viewpoint. Did we hink it out? Or did we simply succumb to hostile influences that are strategically offering us something we would really much rather believe?
I would gladly agree to be giddy at the vision of the wretched Biden falling before the Trump juggernaut. But, aha! Be still my pounding heart! Let’s move the issue about a foot to the north and think about it.
Biden is already toast, to be sure. Talking Democrat shills are starting to spread the word, even now.
What is being portrayed by the propaganda arm of the DNC, and apparently soothing even many on the right? What a conundrum! What a fatal trap has ensnared the left! Not only is old Joe uninterested in stepping aside, but they have no one else who can reliably replace him!
Don’t believe it. It’s an ambush.
Head fake No. 1: Well, it’s really up to Joe, whatever he decides to do. [Not.]
Head fake No. 2: Michelle O. really doesn’t want to get her hands dirty. Maybe she’s just too sensitive or too lazy. [Not.]
Head fake No. 3: Barack’s team isn’t really running the show. Joe is in charge now. He only has half of Barack’s old staffers, working as half of Joe’s new staffers, because Obama’s just a generous guy. [Not.]
Head fake No. 4: Michelle’s not even running a primary challenge, so it’s all out of the question. [Not.]
There are voices on the right, just now coming out of the ether, acknowledging the high probability of Joe stroking out (or whatever) just after his nomination is confirmed, leaving the Dems “no choice” but to name a favored replacement. Michelle Obama will take to the mic and claim it’s not a job she wants, but to save the country she is willing. And never you mind about my qualifications. Because I will have the most qualified adviser in America by my side.
Remember this. Michelle remains among America’s most beloved. The women’s vote. The black vote. Everything the Dems have to rely on. Plus, the Obama name has long since proved its mettle. And, if Trump prevails, the same manner of lawfare unjustly used against him may well be justly addressed to vanquish the treasonous, who have been doing all things possible to destroy America. So, think about it Michelle. You and Barack could play good cop/bad cop all day long, and all of America will still love you, as if your name were Oprah Obama.
The point here is that, for now, campaigning against Biden may be the fools’ mission of the century. The most logical thing is to raise the alarm, identify Biden, once and for all, as the Obama proxy that he is, and address the Obama-Biden regime as one and the same, a nation-destroying team, with our erstwhile heroine, Michelle, the next bitter slugger on deck.

]]>If they were to be honest in their political ads (ha!), they’d come right out and say it: “A vote for Michelle is a vote for Barack, the only Democrat with a realistic chance of beating Donald Trump.”
I’ve always recognized that Joe Biden was Obama’s puppet, moved into front-runner status as the best of bad options after Trump creamed the entire field of Dem primary candidates in February of 2020, including the designated winner, Pocahontas Warren. I predicted Biden would get the nomination just a few hours after the Democratic Primary debacle that blatantly cheated Bernie Sanders out of the nomination – for the second time! – the first time in 2016 triggering Bernie-Bot Seth Rich to give the establishment Dem secrets to Wikileaks, which led to his assassination, presumably by the Clintons.
The Purple Uniparty knew it was in for big, unavoidable trouble by resorting to a coup to prevent Trump from fulfilling the second term he would and did clearly win by right in 2020. They needed not just to put a fully loyal placeholder in the White House, they needed someone to take the fall for all the foreseeable and unforeseeable disasters that would follow. Joe Biden neatly fit the bill – being as criminally liable for scandal and jail time as any of his fellow Ukraine profiteers would be under a wised-up Trump Justice Department – and being then in the early stages of some form of obvious cognitive decline. When that brain condition fully ripened (for real or by staged exaggeration) he would become the perfect patsy for all the evils his regime would have foisted on the American people (at Barack’s direction). Further, his “diminished capacity” would provide a fail-safe defense to prosecution. He’d skate away smoother than Ray Epps for crimes infinitely worse, carrying all the blame for all the crimes right off with him into the nursing home.
I first started publicly detailing my conspiracy theory, and Barack Obama’s role in it, back in August of 2021 in my article “Afghanistan and the Obama Birthday-Bash Head Fake.” In that first iteration, I showed how the Kabul hostage crisis mirrored Clinton’s staged but botched Benghazi crisis and how that event could open a path for Obama’s return to the White House. It didn’t, but the analysis of its potentiality was and is still sound.
In my WND column of Oct. 25, 2021, I went further and predicted a scenario through which Biden could be removed with the least damage to the Democratic Party, writing, “I’ve long predicted that Joe will be the scapegoat for whatever goes wrong. Obama himself pretty much telegraphed Biden’s usefulness as a scapegoat. As quoted in Politico during the primary, ‘One Democrat who spoke to Obama recalled the former president warning, “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f–k things up.”‘” Quite a useful trait and personal history for a patsy candidate, eh?
That scenario involved a creative reading of the 22nd Amendment, about which I wrote: “Obama [would] be called out of retirement and retake the world stage … returning [him] to the White House by whatever sequence of resignation, appointments and resignations would best work to retire Biden, minimize a Harris presidency, and place Obama back on the throne. All accompanied by a unified chorus of legal experts and media pundits spinning a new interpretation of the 22nd Amendment regarding presidential term limits (e.g. it only limits ‘two elections’ after all – not an appointment to VP by Harris, followed by her resignation and reappointment to VP by Obama). That battle would most certainly go to the Supreme Court, where, conveniently, Obama’s main man John Roberts (the guy who killed all the pro-Trump election fraud lawsuits) is still chief justice.”
On May 6, 2022, I published my article “The how and when of a Biden resignation” in which I predicted the controlling powers would stage a Biden “stroke” as the most effective method for removing him quickly and smoothly without any public expectation of any public statements by Biden himself. He would become an immediate object of national sympathy, whose tragedy could be fully milked for its political value, including painting the MAGA movement as heartless brutes for the inevitable expressions of (at minimum) relief from many quarters. I still expect that will be their go-to exit strategy when the time comes.
Now that we’ve turned the corner into 2024, I’m carrying all the factors in my past analyses forward and acknowledging that the most likely scenario for getting Barack Obama physically back into the White House is a Michelle Obama candidacy. The other scenarios are not dead, just slightly diminished in probability.
However, it just might be that the Michelle run is being floated as a fall-back plan to the end-run-past-the-22nd-Amendment scenario. If they stroked out Biden long enough before the Primary, they would have time to politically recover if the Supreme Court blocked Obama from replacing Biden directly. And, frankly, that lawfare effort could actually bolster the fall-back plan by making the Michelle campaign a more obvious work-around to put Barack back in de facto power.
One way or another, the elites are going to do whatever it takes to prevent Trump from getting back into the White House. But just as important to them, is that Barack Obama remains the head of the deep-state snake. Time will soon tell what God will allow as a result of this cultural war, but one thing is certain: The process is going to be intense for this nation, perhaps more than at any time since the Revolution that birthed us.

]]>For someone to deem it necessary to NOT inform the White House that the Secretary of Defense was in an intensive care unit is startling, not just because of breached protocols as corporate media is reporting but more importantly because it means unelected officials are calling the shots. This is likely not a surprise to our readers, but normies will be shocked. At least they would be if mockingbird media reported on it properly. Instead, they’ll talk about “irregularities” or “miscommunications” and sweep this under the rug.
The real question we need answered (not that we expect any answers to come) is why Obama and his cronies decided that Biden didn’t need to know his top military advisor was in grave danger. Here’s the news story by Discern Reporter generated from corporate media reports…
Amid tensions in the Middle East, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was hospitalized, including spending four days in the intensive care unit, according to two senior administration officials.
The Pentagon did not inform senior officials in the White House’s National Security Council of Austin’s hospitalization until Thursday — three days after he arrived at Walter Reed Medical Center, a U.S. official confirms. Politico first reported the delay.
Austin was admitted to the hospital Monday night for “complications following a recent elective medical procedure,” Pentagon press secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder said in a statement Friday evening.
On Saturday, Austin released a statement taking responsibility for not disclosing his condition sooner. He stated, “I am very glad to be on the mend and look forward to returning to the Pentagon soon. I also understand the media concerns about transparency and I recognize I could have done a better job ensuring the public was appropriately informed. I commit to doing better. But this is important to say: this was my medical procedure, and I take full responsibility for my decisions about disclosure.”
President Joe Biden spoke with Austin on Saturday evening, according to a senior administration official, who indicated it was the first phone call between the president and Austin since his hospitalization.
“It was a warm conversation,” the senior administration official said. “The President wished him the best in his recovery and said he looks forward to seeing the Secretary back at the Pentagon soon.”
Austin resumed his full duties on Friday evening and remained hospitalized on Saturday. Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, who was on leave, has picked up his duties during his absence.
The Pentagon refused to provide details about the procedure or when it took place, and it won’t say whether Austin was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
Asked why the Pentagon kept Austin’s hospitalization secret, Ryder told NBC News, “This has been an evolving situation in which we had to consider a number of factors.”
While Austin has been hospitalized, the U.S. conducted a rare and controversial strike against a senior Iranian-backed militia member in Baghdad, bases with Americans have been attacked at least six times, and the Biden administration has been considering options to strike Houthi militants in response to their continued attacks against ships in the Red Sea.
Tension in the region centers on the Israel-Hamas war. In October, the U.S. Navy sent two carrier strike groups to the eastern Mediterranean Sea in response.
Iran-backed Houthi militants based in Yemen, unhappy with Israel’s attacks on Palestinian communities, have been attacking container ships in the Red Sea.
On Dec. 30, a U.S. Navy destroyer shot down two Houthi missiles after it responded to a strike on a container ship that resulted in no injuries or damage, military officials said at the time. The next day, Houthi rebels fired on Navy helicopters responding to a container ship distress call. The Navy fired back, sinking three small boats and killing the crews, officials said.
The U.S. is also wary of further regional entanglement as Iran-backed Hezbollah militants in Lebanon exchange munitions with Israel along its northern border.
For in reality, America was founded as an explicitly Christian nation, and for many generations remained the freest, most prosperous, powerful, altruistic and Christian country on the face of the earth.
Yet today, America is disintegrating – indeed, it is on the very brink of destruction.
How can this possibly have happened? And more important, can America be saved?
As recently as a generation ago, this nation’s dominant culture was, however imperfect, essentially moral, patriotic and Judeo-Christian. Politically, of course, there was the continual tug-of-war for power between the two major parties: traditional Democrats, who championed liberal policies like “taxing the rich,” a higher minimum wage, more gun control, a larger “social safety net” and legalized abortion – and Republicans, who favored less government intervention, more individual liberty, free-market capitalism and protecting the unborn. But despite the contentious battles and pendulum swings over who controlled the White House and Congress, America was safe, secure and confident, her freedoms intact, and her culture still decent and sane.
Now fast-forward a few decades into today’s steaming inferno of unprecedented madness.
Democrat politicians today overwhelmingly favor late-term abortion up to the very moment of birth – formerly known as “infanticide.” They encourage children too young to drive or vote to have their breasts and/or sex organs amputated in pursuit of a “gender transition” that is both delusional and impossible, and which leads to staggering rates of depression and suicide. This same mass hysteria likewise leads them to promote the de facto destruction of women’s athletics worldwide by allowing men to compete with women, and to permit countless females to be raped in prison by male inmates claiming to be “trans women.”
Meanwhile, the Democrats and their standard bearer, President Joe Biden – an excruciatingly senile, pathologically dishonest and epically corrupt career political hack – are destroying America’s economy, energy sector, military, law enforcement, election integrity, national security, Constitution and overall national wellbeing as rapidly as possible. At the same time, Team Biden demonizes – and increasingly, imprisons – critics as “violent extremists,” “domestic terrorists,” “white supremacists” and “insurrectionists.” Indeed, they are engaged in an obviously corrupt multi-front legal war against Biden’s chief political rival, Donald J. Trump, in an attempt to send the 45th president of the United States to prison for the rest of his life.
None of this constitutes “politics” in any conventional or traditional American sense. Rather, it is all darkly spiritual – which is simply to say, evil. The United States of America is in the throes of a full-blown spiritual war between good and evil.
Indeed, the most contentious issues vexing the nation today are not political nor even ideological. The aforementioned gender hysteria, which reportedly has seduced more than 300,000 American youths aged 13-17 to “identify as transgender,” is neither “liberal” nor “conservative.” It’s evil and insane.
Same with purposely leaving the nation’s southern border wide open and not only inviting, but intentionally engineering a full-scale and massive foreign invasion of America – including masses of young, single men from terrorist-hotbed countries. Same with Marxist ideology (“critical race theory”) disguised as “anti-racism.” And plying America’s school children with hard-core pornography. And establishing “After School Satan Clubs” in public schools throughout the nation. And corrupting innocent toddlers by forcing them to sit at the feet of mentally ill, demonically possessed men dressed as women for “drag queen story hour” events.
All of this and so much more constitutes genuine spiritual warfare – good versus evil, freedom versus slavery, heaven versus hell, God versus Satan.
Consider the current widespread support among college-aged Americans for baby-torturing terrorists. Why would so many young people side with Hamas, while condemning Israelis as the genocidal aggressors, when they suffered the greatest one-day mass slaughter of Jews since the Nazi Holocaust and are now defending their nation and people from further attacks and promised annihilation? Moreover, why have so many young Americans recently praised terrorist monster Osama bin Laden after listening to TikTok “influencers” read and discuss the 9-11 mastermind’s 2002 “Letter to America”?
In large measure, it’s a direct result of American education and “woke” culture. Employing many of the same techniques Chinese communists have long used to shape the minds and loyalties of their youth, America’s colleges and universities are indoctrinating the next generation of Americans to see their lighter-skinned (“white”) countrymen as members of the imperialist oppressor class and darker-skinned “people of color” as part of the righteous oppressed class – a core Marxist teaching.
As noted earlier, America has long been overall a Christian nation. But according to the dark religion of Leftism, righteousness does not involve things like obeying God’s commandments, repenting of one’s sins and believing in and following His son, Jesus Christ. Rather, the new righteousness largely consists of simply being part of a victim/oppressed class, members of which are therefore implicitly held to a different behavioral standard than the wicked colonialist oppressors and their privileged progeny. For example, members of the “oppressed” classes are expected – and conditioned – to be angry and enraged, deserving of reparations and revenge. This of course does not mean that everyone falls for this lie – most do not. Yet, the mind-numbing spectacle of California cities essentially legalizing shoplifting below $950 in value demonstrates both sides of this deranged dynamic: The “oppressor” class makes stealing from an “oppressor” business legal, i.e. atonement and reparations, while the “oppressed/enslaved” class is given permission to appropriate said “reparations” at will.
This madness is currently being inculcated into America’s next generation, the future leaders of American government, business and culture.
In light, then, of what can accurately be characterized as straight-up Marxist brainwashing, multitudes of indoctrinated Americans are now condemning the Israelis as genocidal-colonialist-imperialist-apartheid monsters, and Hamas (who have roasted Israeli babies alive in their parents’ ovens and literally gang-raped Israeli women to death) as victims and noble freedom fighters.
Since Marxism, however artfully disguised, has become so prevalent in American education, culture and government, it might be useful to pause and consider the source.
Most people believe that Karl Marx, the originator of the ideology bearing his name, was an atheist, who sincerely came up with a system, however egregiously flawed, of reorganizing society and government to make it more equitable and just. But Marxism’s inventor was not an atheist. In reality, Karl Marx HATED God, vowing revenge on the Creator and His Heavenly realm, and said so repeatedly.
That is what Marxism is really about – hatred of God and His laws and ways, and an insane and rebellious attempt to replace the Creator’s perfect plan for mankind with a diabolical one that nevertheless sounds appealing. Kind of like the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden.
As scholar and author Paul Kengor, author of “The Devil and Karl Marx,” reveals:
Marx’s poems and plays are rife with pacts with the devil, suicide pacts, violence, vengeance, fire, despair, destruction and death. Marx waxed poetic about “Hellish vapors,” about the “Prince of Darkness” selling a “blood-dark sword [that] shall stab unerringly within thy soul,” of “Heaven I’ve forfeited, I know it full well, My soul, once true to God, Is Chosen for Hell.”
Marx summed up his attitude toward God perfectly in his poem, “Invocation of One in Despair”:
So a god has snatched from me my all,
In the curse and rack of destiny.
All his worlds are gone beyond recall.
Nothing but revenge is left to me.
Kengor described Marx and his legacy in an interview with John Zmirak for “The Stream”:
“There were times when Marx seemed to be possessed by demons,” recorded Robert Payne in his chapter “The Demons.” This appeared in his seminal 1968 biography of Marx. “He had the devil’s view of the world, and the devil’s malignity. Sometimes he seemed to know that he was accomplishing works of evil.”
What is undeniable is the evil associated with and wrought by Marxist-communist ideology: at least 100 million dead in the 20th century alone.
There is an important message in all of this for decent Americans who realize their great country – from its government to its culture to its educational system to even many of its businesses – has been seriously infected with the spiritual cancer of Marxism. And it is this:
To save their country, in addition to all the obvious concrete steps like electing Donald Trump as president next November, closing the border and initiating mass deportations of illegals, re-opening America’s energy sector, stopping the insane mass mutilation of America’s children, expelling “woke” madness from America’s military, and more – all of which Trump promises to put into motion immediately if re-elected president – something else is required.
For even though America is still full of tens of millions of the most decent and soulful people on earth, their nation as a whole desperately needs a spiritual and cultural rebirth. It needs to re-embrace Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “dream” of a truly color-blind meritocracy, where no one is “judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”
But even deeper still, America needs to experience a true, deep and heartfelt revival, a rebirth of reverence for God and His ways and His commandments and His Son and His plan of salvation. Of loving one’s neighbor, and even one’s enemies. Of faith and forgiveness and sacrifice and humility and sincere repentance, and all the other Christian virtues.
Including courage. Yes, Americans need to rediscover the courage to speak the truth in love, which encourages and strengthens other good people, driving out fear and confusion and hopelessness. And having done so, to get down on their knees and pray fervently that a great and merciful God would spare their troubled and corrupted land, awaken its sleep-walking citizens, and breathe His redeeming life into their beloved country once again.
