U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Ala., who serves as the House Armed Service Committee chairman, told a local radio station that he expects that Trump will reverse the Biden administration’s decision shortly after taking office.

Rogers also thinks that construction on a Huntsville facility will begin next year.

“I’ve told y’all since Biden made that crooked decision, it wasn’t going to work,” Rogers told Mobile radio FM Talk 106.5 this week. “As you know, on the Armed Services Committee, I put a hold on any money being spent in Colorado Springs after President Biden came in and stole that mission away. And I told everybody then that Colorado Springs will not be the future capital or location of Space Command. It will be Huntsville, Alabama, who won at fair and square. And President Trump said in the campaign that he was going to reverse that decision if elected. But I knew he would because if you remember, not only did Alabama win two nationwide competitions, but President Trump’s secretary of the Air Force recommended Huntsville, President Biden’s Secretary of the Air Force recommended Huntsville, and then Biden took it away for political reasons.”

Huntsville, also known as Rocket City, is home to NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center; Colorado Springs is home to over 45,000 active duty U.S. soldiers. The U.S. Air Force Academy is a few miles north of Colorado Springs.

Rogers also said that he does not expect House Democrats to oppose the decision.

“Keep in mind, you know, in the House Armed Services Committee, the Democrats weren’t pushing back against Trump putting it there because it won,” Rogers told 1819 News. “You’ll remember, (Democratic Alabama Congressman) Terri Sewell was very active on our committee. (Ranking Democratic Congressman) Adam Smith remained silent, which tells you everything you needed to know on the issue. I have every confidence that if, for some reason, we didn’t take control of the House, Adam Smith and the Democrats on the House Armed Services Committee would do nothing to try to interfere with the U.S.-based command being constructed in Huntsville.”

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis pushed back on the notion in a post to X.

“Colorado is the rightful home for Space Command, no matter who occupies the White House. Colorado’s space and military assets are critical to our national security,” the governor said. “Colorado is the premier location for our service members and their families to train, live, work, and retire. We will fiercely defend and have bipartisan support for Colorado’s military community.”

Constitutional advocate Patrick Byrne (@PatrickByrne) shared the following video on X / Twitter showing how the Colorado BIOS Scandal, as they are calling it, nullifies the 2024 election entirely. George Soros plant Jena Griswold, Colorado’s secretary of state, revealed that “partial passwords for the voting system components were mistakenly posted on an official website in a spreadsheet.”

Newsweek is credited with breaking the news about how Colorado “accidentally” published its voting system passwords in a “major error” that “as a member of the public, if you unhid some columns, these passwords became available.”

“The spreadsheet contained more than 600 partial BIOS passwords for voting system components across 63 of Colorado’s 64 counties,” Byrne explains in the video below, reading from the article.

“BIOS (basic input / output systems) passwords are a core component of security control for a computer system, like a master key that controls access to the basic hardware settings of a computer. The password questions were not encrypted nor were they protected.”

Jena Griswold fails to inform election judges about breach

What this all means is that there is now no way to certify the vote in Colorado because the state’s entire election system was potentially breached because of this “error.”

The way electronic voting is set up involves a complex network of scanners and tablets that are supposed to communicate with each county’s Election Management Server, a centralized source where the votes are to be tabulated. This password breach means that potentially anyone can log in and manipulate the vote.

The whole system and all of its moving parts is supposed to be protected behind a passworded firewall, but the “error” has ensured that this protection is no longer there, allowing for potential voter fraud.

What makes Griswold look especially suspicious in all this is that she conveniently failed to participate in a group call about the breach at which election judges from different Colorado counties expressed concerns about the fact that Griswold never informed them about the breach, and that they had to find out about it from the voting system’s vendor, which remains unnamed.

A 68-year-old town clerk by the name of Tina Peters was actually locked up simply for accessing the system using one of the leaked passwords, which was something really simple like “password123.”

“Tina Peters, a 68-year-old grandma, she – a town clerk – accessed her system, which she has every right to do … and she got tried” for it, Byrne says. “She’s doing nine years for that.”

Gen. Michael Flynn interjected on X / Twitter about Peters’ arrest and imprisonment that she should “be released immediately from prison.”

“What a travesty of justice,” Flynn added. “She reported the truth while the real criminals get away with this nonsense.”

“Tina Peters needs to be freed immediately,” wrote another about how these new revelations from Byrne expose Griswold as the culprit.

“Are they going to lock her up like they did Tina Peters, for nine years!???!!!” asked another, referring to Griswold being thrown in prison.

“They need to get electors ready to make the call,” wrote another. “Because it’s too late and this woman needs to go to jail immediately.”

A doorbell camera on Aug. 18 recorded six armed men entering an apartment building, roughly ten minutes before a 25-year-old was shot at the complex and later died from his injuries. Local leaders say the footage prompted the city to finally acknowledge and address what had been percolating for a long time: the emergence of a notorious Venezuelan gang known as Tren de Aragua in Aurora.

Emails obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation suggest that Republican Mayor Mike Coffman dismissed the narrative that problems associated with the apartment buildings were tied to gang activity. CBZ Management, the property management company that owns the apartment complex where the August incident took place, tried warning the mayor and other city officials about the threat of Tren de Aragua, but those warnings came to no avail, the company told the DCNF.

“Zev [Baumgarten] and other people working there did everything possible to get the police to pay attention to the story. They did not,” a representative for the CBZ Management said to the Daily Caller News Foundation, in a conversation that included Zev Baumgarten, who has been described in court documents as the owner of the company. CBZ Management is the owner of several apartment buildings in Aurora that have allegedly been taken over by Tren de Aragua gang members, but the company says they were made out to be the bad guys when they attempted to warn city leaders.

The company told the DCNF that it had no idea what Tren de Aragua was until an employee was viciously attacked while visiting one of its properties to empty out a unit in November 2023. CBZ subsequently hired a security firm to try to get a hold of the situation, but was soon told by the firm that the level of crime was out of their reach and suggested it reach out to the FBI — which the company did.

It was at that meeting with the Department of Homeland Security, FBI and local Aurora police that the company was informed that the crime in the building was connected to Tren de Aragua, according to CBZ. The FBI declined to comment.

Shortly afterward the company related that information to local authorities, but Aurora officials ignored their warnings and instead blamed them for building code violations, according to the CBZ spokesperson.

A spokesperson for Aurora confirmed that this assault took place. Yoendry Vilchez Medina-Jose was arrested Aug. 5 by the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant that stemmed from the November 2023 assault, according to the City of Aurora. The city also confirmed that Medina-Jose is a documented member of Tren de Aragua.

“The City — instead of going after real criminals — they manufactured a criminal in their minds with Zev Baumgarten and went after him,” the CBZ spokesperson said. “We believe the reason they did that was to hide the story.”

“Instead of shutting down a building and saying they’re doing it because of gang activity, they say they’re shutting down a building because of code enforcement violations and the big bad wolf is Zev Baumgarten,” they continued. “He was just a local person they could pin it on.”

It’s not immediately clear when Aurora government leaders began responding to reports that an organized crime syndicate had likely taken over apartment buildings in the city.

Mayor Coffman took to social media on Sept. 11 to confirm that Tren de Aragua had a presence in “specific properties” in the city and that the Venezuelan gang’s activities had “significantly affected” these properties. That confirmation was preceded by other statements to the media on Aug. 29, with Coffman specifically saying that “there are several buildings, actually under the same out-of-state ownership, that have fallen to these Venezuelan gangs.”

“The reality is that the concerns about Venezuelan gang activity in our city – and our state – have been grossly exaggerated and have unfairly hurt the city’s identity and sense of safety,” read a statement from the City of Aurora when the DCNF reached out to the mayor for comment. “The city and state have not been ‘taken over’ or ‘invaded’ or ‘occupied’ by migrant gangs.”

“The incidents that have occurred in Aurora, a city of 400,000 people, have been limited to a handful of specific apartment complexes, and our dedicated police officers have acted on those concerns and will continue to do so,” the statement continued.

Yet, as recently as early August, Coffman appeared to dismiss claims of the gang’s existence at these buildings, instead painting CBZ as a “problem” that has plagued the city for years with alleged “code violations,” emails obtained by the DCNF via a records request show.

“This building has been a problem for years and the city is taking the owners to court over persistent code violations,” Coffman wrote in an email on Aug. 7. “The owners are contending that they lost control of the building due to gang activity to dodge their responsibility and that is not accurate.”

Coffman was responding to an Aug. 5 email forward originally from Red Banyon, a public relations firm hired by CBZ Management, that claimed that Tren de Aragua had been terrorizing apartment tenants and taken over the property to help facilitate their own criminal affairs. The owners of the apartment complex referenced in Coffman’s email are CBZ Management, the property management firm that owns complexes in Colorado and New York.

Red Banyon did not respond to a request for comment from the DCNF.

Coffman seemingly brushed off a separate report put together by international law firm Perkins Coie, which found that Tren de Aragua gang members likely took over the apartment building. The law firm’s report, which was marked as “confidential,” was derived from multiple witness interviews and a review of available footage and evidence.

The Perkins Coie investigation includes images that purportedly show a CBZ employee being beaten up by gang members in November 2023.

Apartments staff, including housekeepers, were told by Tren de Aragua members that they were “working for” the gang, according to the investigation’s findings. One gang affiliate identified as “Larry” said Tren de Aragua would use vacant rooms for parties, which included drugs and child prostitution.

Responding to fraudulent apartment ads posted by gang members, new tenants to the buildings allegedly began paying rent — unbeknownst to them — directly to the gang, according to the report. One man who failed to pay rent on time was allegedly stabbed by gang members.

The investigative report was delivered via email on Aug. 9 with a message from an associate of the law firm asking the mayor and other city leaders to discuss the firm’s findings. However, a follow-up email from the associate on Aug. 15 asked Coffman and city leaders to confirm whether they had received their report — an indication that the mayor never acknowledged or responded to the law firm during that time.

An additional follow-up email was sent by the associate on Aug. 21 which again asked for city leaders to discuss the investigation’s findings. The DCNF did not find any emails from the mayor’s office that indicated a response was ever given.

The author of the Perkins Coie investigation, Markus Funk, declined to comment when reached by the DCNF.

Three days after that Aug. 15 email message, doorbell footage would be taken that set off national media attention. CBZ, the apartment buildings’ owners, now say the situation is completely out of their hands now.

“Three buildings have been taken over,” CBZ said to the DCNF. “One of [the buildings] was shut down by the city. There’s another two that’s still under control of these gangs.”

“Rent is not coming in, but it’s filled with tenants so it’s going to someone — most likely to these gangs,” CBZ continued.

In response to public accusations from the city that CBZ Management was attempting to dodge their responsibility for code violations by blaming gang activity, the company pointed to the recent closures of major name-brand stores in the area, suggesting that the community as a whole is facing consequences of Tren de Aragua’s wrath.

“Whoever is accusing CBZ of that would have to explain why there’s a Walgreens closing down right next door to these buildings. There’s a Walmart that closed down not long ago right next to these buildings,” their representative said. “They have a lot of things they’ll need to explain.”

Aurora, like many communities across the country, has felt the consequences of the unprecedented border crisis experienced under the Biden-Harris administration. Denver, a major sanctuary city just a few miles away from Aurora, accepted tens of thousands of migrants during the ongoing crisis before it was forced to pull back its services— but not before sending a number of those migrants to Aurora, to the apparent chagrin of the mayor.

Roughly 570,000 Venezuelan nationals have unlawfully crossed the U.S.-Mexico border since the beginning of the Biden administration, according to the latest data from Customs and Border Protection. The White House has additionally authorized around 121,000 Venezuelans to be flown into the country via mass parole program and approved thousands of others via the CBP One app.

Reports of Venezuelan-related crime — organized crime, in particular — began to roll in as the migrant population in the Denver metro area continued to swell, such as when four Venezuelan nationals were indicted for a violent robbery of a Denver-area jewelry store in June, with local reports indicating the organized heist was linked to Tren de Aragua.

Local police confirmed that members of Tren de Aragua — an international crime syndicate that originated in Venezuela — have operated in Aurora. The Aurora Police Department (APD) in September said two men who were arrested for a shootout were affiliated with Tren de Aragua and another two individuals involved in the shooting were suspected of having ties with the gang.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) also confirmed that all four of those individuals were Venezuelan nationals who entered the U.S. illegally during the Biden-Harris administration.

APD has identified all six men that were captured in the viral doorbell camera footage. However, it remains to be confirmed if any of those individuals are Tren de Aragua members, with an ICE spokesperson telling the DCNF that they have no additional information yet on those men.

“There has been evidence from the beginning of this,” John Fabbricatore, the Republican candidate for Colorado’s 6th Congressional District, which includes Aurora, said to the DCNF. “City leaders had received emails and letters concerning the growth of Tren de Aragua in certain parts of Aurora, Colorado.”

“Leaders chose to ignore those warnings for political purposes and did not reach out to neighborhood residents to provide a safe and secure environment,” Fabbricatore continued.

The Republican candidate has increasingly sparred with Coffman over the threat of Tren de Aragua in the city. He recently posted a video he took of Coffman on X, which shows the mayor appearing to say that the situation in one area of Aurora had only gotten better because of the presence of private security.

Fabbricatore, who spent a career as an ICE field office director, said that Aurora is handicapped in its ability to fully take on illegal migrant crime because of Colorado’s status as a sanctuary state. Policies signed into law by Democratic Gov. John Polis prevent the Aurora Police Department from fully cooperating with federal immigration authorities — with the problem only being exacerbated by a major sanctuary city such as Denver being just a few miles away.

A slate of Denver suburbs have since been actively considering litigation against the Colorado government for the sanctuary laws, arguing that the policies have only served to protect criminals.

The Colorado governor initially pushed back on allegations that gang members had taken over apartment buildings in Aurora, with a Polis spokesperson claiming in August that “this purported invasion is largely a feature of [Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky’s] imagination.”

In the weeks since the statement was made and more evidence has surfaced of Tren de Aragua’s activity in the City of Aurora, Jurinksy said it was a shame Polis did not do more at the time.

“The truth has been and will continue to come out,” Jurinsky said to the DCNF. “I find it very sad that the Governor couldn’t put politics aside and reach out to another elected official who was asking for help, specifically from him.”

(DCNF)—Colorado officials are pushing back on former President Donald Trump’s claims that Aurora is overrun with organized crime by Venezuelan migrants, but spite of the officials’ claims, crimes involving gangs have increased considerably since last year.

Trump will speak in Aurora on Friday as part of his push to highlight migrant crime, following ten members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua being identified in September in the city after the gang allegedly took over apartment complexes. While crime in aggregate has fallen in the city since last year, gang-related crime has increased, and long-term trends paint a more bleak picture of Aurora overall, according to city data.

“This is a safer town than its been before,” Democratic Colorado Governor Jared Polis said in an interview, according to The Associated Press. “Things are going really great … and I don’t want this bizarre counter-narrative out there.”

Preliminary data published by the city suggests crime is down 16% between January and September compared to the same time frame in 2023. However, the data also shows a 30.2% increase in gang-related activity compared to last year at this point.

The city has also seen a significant increase of 12.4% among all crimes from 2008 to 2022, with incidents against persons rising by 46% and property by 17.7%, according to the Common Sense Institute in 2023.

“Former President Trump’s visit to Aurora is an opportunity to show him and the nation that Aurora is a considerably safe city — not a city overrun by Venezuelan gangs,” Republican Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman told the Daily Caller News Foundation in a statement. “The reality is that the concerns about Venezuelan gang activity have been grossly exaggerated. The incidents were limited to several apartment complexes in this city of more than 400,000 residents.”

Despite Coffman’s insistence that the problem is overblown, Aurora’s proposed 2025 budget included a $125 million funding increase, which included cash for the Aurora Police Department to counteract international gang activity and retail crime. The proposed plan would take the police budget from $155.7 million in 2024 to nearly $165 million by 2025.

Tren de Aragua started as a prison gang in Venezuela in 2013, taking over the Torocon prison in the Aragua state and making it their base of operations, growing to around 5,000 members in 2023, according to Insight Crime. The gang’s activity is relatively novel in the U.S., coming largely in the wake of a surge in immigration, with Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) seeing a 421% increase in Venezuelans encountered at the southern border from fiscal year 2021 to 2023, according to agency data.

“We’re not heavily scrutinizing anyone coming in,” Ammon Blair, former CBP agent and senior fellow at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, told the DCNF. “We’re not detaining them. We’re using alternatives to detention, so no one’s really being vetted.”

The governor’s office did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

Harris has faced repeated criticism from Republicans in recent weeks for failing to explain her flip-flops on numerous policies she campaigned on in 2020. After ABC’s Jonathan Karl pressed Polis on Harris reversing her position on funding the southern border wall, Polis claimed Democrats “have always been supportive of building barriers and walls.”

“Look, this is another issue that as it gets into the public discourse is very misleading. Democrats in general, Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, you know, Barack Obama, have always been supportive of building barriers and walls for certain parts of the border as part of a comprehensive border security strategy — ” Polis said.

“But wait a minute. She called the — she called the border wall a ‘medieval vanity project,’ a stupid use of money and said that she would block funding for it. So she wasn’t talking about supporting, you know, the wall,” Karl interjected.

Polis continued to push back by calling former President Donald Trump’s border wall a “huge waste of taxpayer money,” before adding Harris will secure the border in the most “most cost-effective way,” in part, through the use of “barriers and walls.”

“That’s true, the border wall that Donald Trump has proposed is a huge boondoggle and waste of taxpayer money. He effectively talked about a wall across the entire border rather than using barriers of different kinds effectively in a cost effective manner including imagery from satellites, including on the ground intel to secure and lock down the border,” Polis said.

“What Kamala Harris is for is securing the most cost-effective way possible to stop the illegal flow of people, of guns, of drugs across that southern border. And of course, Donald Trump’s border wall would not work, would waste taxpayer money,” Polis continued. “And of course, barriers and walls are a part of the overall comprehensive strategy that Kamala Harris will deliver on to secure the southern border.”

Following a recent Harris campaign ad, the vice president was called out online by supporters of former President Donald Trump for flashing the U.S. Mexico border wall in the video that touted her as the “border-state prosecutor.” Harris in the past has called the wall “un-American,” a “stupid waste of money” and Trump’s “medieval vanity project,” adding to voter’s intrigue regarding her campaign’s recent change of tone regarding the border barrier.

Last week Harris’ campaign announced that she will be backing the February bipartisan border bill, requiring hundreds of millions of unspent public dollars to be thrown to push further construction of the border wall, according to Axios.

In 2020, President Joe Biden also criticized Trump’s border wall as he campaigned on ceasing any construction of the wall, according to NPR.

“There will not be another foot of wall constructed on my administration, No. 1,” Biden told NPR’s Lulu Garcia-Navarro at the time.

However, the president in 2023 aggravated Democrats and other migrant advocates after he pressed forward with plans to build sections of the wall in Texas as illegal immigration encounters skyrocketed. Notably, former President Barack Obama also called Trump’s border wall “impractical” in 2016.

“This is just one more example of something that is not thought through and is primarily put forward for political consumption,” Obama had told the press at the time.

Typical Americans are clueless and ill-prepared for what’s coming

Typical Americans are obsessed with watching celebrity videos, eating processed foods and jabbing themselves with reptile venom peptides that are FDA-approved as weight loss drugs. They have ZERO ability to defend themselves against determined, lean, well-trained invaders with zealot-level hatred of America and its people. Just one of these foreign militants will probably kill 100 Americans or more, on average, as typical Americans in cities are pathetically defenseless, clueless and have spent years mocking preppers and firearms experts.

With up to a 100-to-1 kill ratio, and an estimated one million military-aged foreign invaders already stationed inside the USA, it’s not outside the bounds of plausibility to understand that tens of millions of Americans may soon be slaughtered in a combined Marxist / Terrorist purge of American citizens.

There are consequences for allowing your country to be invaded while you defund police, ban the Second Amendment and turn your young men into weakling tampon Timmers. Even US military troops will be incapable of policing the gang-run, terrorist-run blue cities, because the military has already sent all its ammunition to Ukraine. On top of that, America’s youngest military recruits are infested with wokeism and weakness. They brag about being LGBT but have no clue how to handle themselves in an actual firefight. Being gay or trans may win you social hierarchy points at your local libt#rd city council meeting, but it counts for zilch on the battlefield when you are trying to defend your nation against invaders.

Everybody needs to read Matt Bracken and Michael Yon, and then realize they haven’t told you even half of what they know is coming, because they don’t want to sound too scary and get banned. But trust me when I tell you that I know both of these courageous men, and they haven’t even yet described the real horrors of what they know is coming.

As Yon says, it’s time for “big boy rules.” Bad choices have bad consequences, and nobody is coming to save you. Most certainly not your government, which has conspired to engineer this exact scenario that they hope will result in your extermination and replacement. The Democrats’ war on the American people is probably only months away from going hot, due to invaders and terrorists who were deliberately let into the country by the Democrats themselves, almost all functioning as straight-up traitors to America.

The details about the situation involving Jefferson County, which encompasses multiple large suburbs that make up virtually all of the western part of the Denver metropolitan area, are revealed in a report in Complete Colorado.

It follows multiple reports of recent election fraud and failure, from studies showing potentially millions of mail-in ballots being submitted fraudulently to known undue influences and election interference on presidential races.

Complete Colorado said in its report it obtained emails that “show an acknowledgment by Jefferson County officials that the November election was held in violation of state statute.”

Further, the report confirmed “Colorado’s Secretary of State essentially telling them not to worry about it.”

The report detailed that in November, Cynthia Rasor, the senior elections project coordinator for Jefferson County, informed local governments that had 2023 elections that Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder Amanda Gonzalez “had failed to properly notice the election — a very basic legal requirement for all elections.”

Rasor blamed it on staff transitions.

“It came to our attention that our office failed to publish notice of this election in a general circulation newspaper within 20 days of the election,” she said in the email. “My staff and I understand the importance of adhering to all statutory obligations and sincerely apologize for this error.”

She said a new checklist would ensure “compliance” in the future.

The report noted, in fact, state law demands that no later than 20 days before each election, election officials shall provide “notice by publication of the election” in a general circulation newspaper that includes the date of election, the hours that polling locations and drop off locations will be open, the address of polling locations and the address of drop-off locations.

Gonzalez, a Democrat “rumored to be the candidate of choice” to replace current Secretary of State Jena Griswold in 2026, failed. But, the report said, she apparently contacted Griswold, another Democrat, and “was told, in essence — no harm, no foul.”

Complete Colorado noted that another email, from suburban Arvada officials to a council member, charged that, “Judd Choate, the Colorado State Election’s director, reviewed this matter and determined that Jeffco substantially complied with elections laws. Substantial compliance is the standard set forth in CRS sec. 1-1-103. Choate determined that no further corrective action was needed.”

Rasor, in an email, also confirmed state elections officials “advised them all was good,” the report said.

John Marriott, the Arvada council member who lost the race for mayor, said the clerk “should be ashamed of herself” and apologize, but it wouldn’t matter, because if the election was invalidated, the Democrats on his council would simply appoint their candidate anyway.

Former Deputy Secretary of State Suzanne Taheri told the publication the key was whether the failure was “on purpose.”

“They would probably find that it was just an oversight unless it could be proven that someone was intentionally trying to deceive everyone,” she said.

On Wednesday, the Colorado GOP filed an appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court after the state Supreme Court’s decision to remove Trump from the primary ballot.

Following the appeal, Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold announced that she will include Trump on the primary ballot on the Jan. 5 certification deadline, unless the U.S. Supreme Court affirms the lower court’s ruling or declines to take up the case.

The Supreme Court is expected to pick up the Colorado case as well as a similar case in Michigan.

Ballots are due to be printed in Colorado early next month, but the real deadline for a decision by the Supreme Court is January 20 when those ballots will be sent to members of the military. If a decision is later reached that Trump should not be on the ballot, it will open up an unprecedented scenario.

Griswold still holds that the decision by the Colorado Supreme Court to remove Trump from the primary ballots is the right one. By allowing his name on the ballot, some believe it’s a signal that Griswold believes Colorado ruling will be overturned by the SCOTUS.

They made that ruling only last week based on their decision to abandon due process and consider that Trump was guilty of “insurrection” because of what rioters did at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

In fact, he’s not even been charged with any crime of “insurrection,” and when Democrats in Congress made that claim, he was acquitted in the Senate.

The ACLJ said its petition for certiorari has been filed requesting the justices overturn the state court’s “dangerously flawed twisting of the 14th Amendment.”

“This is so much more than one primary in one state – this is the greatest election interference case in U.S. history and represents a grave attack on millions of Americans’ fundamental right to vote,” the legal team explained.

The lawyers explained the three blunders:

1. “The president is not an officer of the United States covered within the disqualification provision of Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment.”
2. “Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment is not a self-executing authority for state courts and litigants to use as a sword against presidential candidates.”
3. “The Colorado Supreme Court’s decision violates the Colorado Republican Party’s First Amendment associational right to choose its own political candidates.”

The legal team also asked for a hurry-up schedule, “due to the urgent nature of this case.”

It said, “The drastic effects of the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision on the 2024 primary election necessitate this Court’s immediate review, during this current term. The prompt hearing of this case is necessary to prevent the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision from having an irreparable effect on the electoral process.”

The filing also automatically stopped the state court’s ruling.

The ACLJ explained, “The Constitution, our system of democratic elections in our constitutional republic, the right of a party to designate its candidates of choice for its members, due process – and, ultimately, the voters’ right to choose who they vote for are all under assault.

“This is the most important case we have ever taken on. Because if we lose our right to vote, we lose our constitutional republic.”

The Colorado court already had been known for its extravagantly flawed decisions, like when it condemned Christian baker Jack Phillips to be punished for not violating his faith by promoting the LGBT lifestyle choices.

The Supreme Court publicly rebuked the state, at that time, for its “hostility” to Christianity, and a similar rebuke is expected from the high court to the state in this case.

The ACLJ explained the politicized ruling from a weaponized Democrat court is “one of the biggest constitutional crises of modern history.”

Critics of the Colorado decision point out that it’s just part of the “lawfare” being waged by Democrats all across the country, apparently because of their fear of Trump himself.

They’re also trying to pursue him on multiple criminal cases, which analysts have described as being on shaky foundations.

Their goal appears to be to keep voters from voting for him, a move that GOP members have described as itself being the threat to the constitutional republic that the U.S. is.

Multiple courts already have rejected the same “disqualified” claims that were endorsed by the all-Democrat Colorado court.

According to section 9002 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, a major party is defined as having 25% or more of the popular vote in the previous presidential election, so the bill would only apply to official Republican or Democrat nominees.

If enacted, this would cut off future attempts to keep President Donald J. Trump from being on the general election ballots. He is already appealing a ruling by the Colorado Supreme Court which prevents him from being on the primary ballots due to Section 3 of the 14th Amendment regarding “insurrection,” a charge for which he has never been convicted. He was acquitted of it by the Senate during his second impeachment.

The Colorado GOP has threatened to bypass the primary and go to a caucus nomination system. If they do and if the state nominates Trump, then this bill would prevent Colorado and other states from trying to keep him off the general election ballot. States that do not comply will not have their electors counted by Congress.

Judges, attorneys, and scholars can debate the constitutional mess stirred up by all of the actions taken against Trump in recent months. For now, it’s good knowing there are some people in office who are still protecting the people’s right to vote for the person they want to represent them in the White House.
