Every time Jim leaves the house, Sue fears he won’t come back alive, she said Wednesday night at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

“Our house has been broken into twice,” Sue Chilton told convention delegates. “A Border Patrol agent was shot five times by drugs smugglers on our ranch. The cartel drug smugglers are crossing our nation’s border every day. They are bringing lethal drugs into our country.”

The Chiltons’ security cameras have spotted more than 3,500 drug traffickers and others in camouflage marching through their ranch, according to Jim Chilton, a fifth-generation rancher in Arivaca.

“These are not asylum-seekers,” he said. “It looks like and it feels like an invasion, because it is.”

Things were different when Donald Trump was president, the Chiltons believe.

“Under President Donald Trump, it wasn’t like this, and if we bring him back,” Jim Chilton said, “I know he’ll stop it again.”

“We know firsthand that Biden’s open border is our nation’s greatest national security threat,” he continued. “We need to make America safe again.”

Trump’s wall along the U.S.-Mexico border was almost finished on the Chilton family’s ranch when Biden became president and halted construction of the wall.

“Since then, crossings on our ranch have increased fivefold,” Jim Chilton said.

“We must elect Donald Trump to finish the wall, to stop the cartels, to keep America safe and strong,” he said.

The crowd erupted with several resounding cheers of “Build that wall!”

David Lara, owner of a small business who lives in a border town, said small towns like his bear the brunt of the border chaos.

“Imagine strangers terrorizing your homes, your neighbors, your yards, the local schools,” Lara said. “Imagine being treated as second-class citizens as chaos and crime terrorize streets.”

“I don’t have to imagine this,” he continued. “I’ve watched it with my own eyes. I’ve seen my town suffer.”

Lara blames the Biden administration’s border policies.

“Biden and [Vice President] Kamala Harris want the illegal immigration crisis to continue, and no amount of suffering has changed their mind or convinced them to finally put Americans first,” he said.

“We must reelect President Trump to close the border the crime and stop the drug from pouring in,” Lara said. “We must reelect President Trump to imprison and deport violent gang members, instead of coddling them as they terrorize our nation.”

Millions in Drug Money Has Made Its Way Into the South Florida Commercial Real Estate Market https://americanconservativemovement.com/millions-in-drug-money-has-made-its-way-into-the-south-florida-commercial-real-estate-market/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/millions-in-drug-money-has-made-its-way-into-the-south-florida-commercial-real-estate-market/#comments Fri, 14 Jun 2024 12:06:17 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=206180 (Zero Hedge)—A new report is revealing how illegal drug funds have made their way through the commercial real estate market in South Florida “and beyond”, according to Bisnow.

Among examples was Miami’s Sefira Capital, who agreed to forfeit over $29M in 2021 to settle a DEA investigation into money laundering, though it admitted no wrongdoing.

The firm was accused of ignoring red flags about investor funds and was implicated in a DEA sting operation, revealing millions in drug money flowed through its investment fund, Bisnow reports.

The probe included a $63M hotel acquisition near Washington, D.C., and an office building in Fort Lauderdale used by Broward County prosecutors.

This case is among five highlighted in a report on money laundering risks in commercial real estate by Global Financial Integrity and others, noting $2.6B laundered across 22 states, with California, Florida, and New York being the top destinations.

The DOJ alleged that between 2016 and 2019, Sefira Capital raised millions in criminal proceeds without sufficient due diligence, ignoring red flags like discrepancies in sender names and investment amounts.

The firm received funds from criminals using The Black Market Peso Exchange, which allowed drug traffickers to swap U.S. dollars for local currencies.

As part of the DEA investigation, dollars were bought on the black market and transferred to Sefira’s U.S. accounts under the guidance of money laundering brokers.

Sefira Capital, founded by Aby Galsky and Mijael Attias in late 2015, purchased at least seven properties in Florida and three in South Florida from 2015 to 2021, allegedly using laundered money. In a statement to Bisnow, Sefira claimed no knowledge or intent regarding the funds’ origins, stating they were passive recipients.

Sefira’s joint venture with Highline Real Estate Capital included buying and later selling the Courthouse Place office near the Broward County courthouse. Highline’s founder, David Moret, stated the DEA did not investigate their joint venture properties.

Sefira’s acquisitions also included The Jaxon Apartments in Jacksonville, a Tampa office building, and a self-storage facility in Naples. A significant purchase was the Westin Tysons Corner, acquired with Driftwood Capital and Merrimac Ventures for $62M in 2018. Driftwood stated that Sefira was a passive limited partner.

In 2021, Sefira settled with the DOJ, agreeing to forfeit $22.5M in assets and pay $6.5M to avoid foreclosure. Galsky and Attias have since parted ways with Sefira and started new firms. Sefira’s website remains active, listing several properties, but the company lacks social media presence and is not mentioned in the founders’ LinkedIn profiles.

Nearly 10 Million Lethal Doses of Fentanyl Seized in San Francisco https://americanconservativemovement.com/nearly-10-million-lethal-doses-of-fentanyl-seized-in-san-francisco/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/nearly-10-million-lethal-doses-of-fentanyl-seized-in-san-francisco/#respond Sun, 21 Apr 2024 07:49:47 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=202846 (Natural News)—The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has announced the results of a major operation that spanned a 10-block radius in the Tenderloin neighborhood in northeastern San Francisco. According to Gov. Gavin Newsom, the amount of fentanyl seized in the operation is equal to nearly 10 million lethal doses.

Additionally, CHP issued 6,044 citations, which ultimately led to 496 arrests. Fifteen firearms were also recovered.

“These results are a testament to the effective collaboration among state, local, and federal law enforcement in San Francisco. We will continue to work together to get drugs off our streets, address crime and make our communities safer,” Newsom said in a statement. (Related: San Francisco drug overdose deaths hit all-time high in 2023 with FENTANYL largely to blame.)

However, these results also reflect how big the drug trafficking industry has become in San Francisco.

CHP officers began deploying to the Tenderloin in May of 2023 with a focus on improving public safety, targeting fentanyl trafficking, disrupting fentanyl supply and busting drug trafficking rings. The Tenderloin operation is part of Gov. Newsom’s broader plan for tackling the fentanyl and opioid crisis, officials said.

A similar joint operation cracking down on fentanyl smuggling led to around 200 arrests and the recovery of more than 400 stolen vehicles since February.

Just 2 mg of fentanyl is considered a lethal dose

Exposure to just two milligrams worth of fentanyl is considered a lethal dose, according to the Drug Enforcement Agency. Tom Wolf, a recovery advocate who used to be a homeless drug addict living in San Francisco’s streets, knows all too well how dangerous fentanyl can be.

In 2018, he was living in the streets of San Francisco and hooked on both heroin and fentanyl, leading to his arrest.

“It’s a struggle because you’ll basically do anything to feed that addiction,” said Wolf, who applauded the CHP’s operation but stressed that treating addiction is just as important as preventing the spread of fentanyl.

“In June, I’ll have six months clean and sober and that’s because I was held accountable,” said Wolf. “I had to go to jail for a few months, and then I went to a six-month residential treatment program.”

Wolf now works with the Salvation Army’s transitional housing program as a consultant helping people battle addiction. He represents a good example of a former drug addict who turned his life around.

“We just need to stop this revolving door that we have of organized drug dealers that keep being arrested and then getting released to pretrial diversion, and then they head right back out on the street to sell drugs,” said Wolf.

Top 6 Ways Hollywood Cons Viewers Into “Consuming” Big Lies About Food, Medicine, Street Drugs, Water, Climate https://americanconservativemovement.com/top-6-ways-hollywood-cons-viewers-into-consuming-big-lies-about-food-medicine-street-drugs-water-climate/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/top-6-ways-hollywood-cons-viewers-into-consuming-big-lies-about-food-medicine-street-drugs-water-climate/#respond Tue, 26 Mar 2024 11:24:02 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=202218 (Natural News)—It should be renamed Follywood, as the lack of good sense and foolishness embedded in today’s movies and shows should not have the grand influence that it does on the masses, conning them into daily “functions” that fuel their own health and safety demise. Even the commercials are mostly for insane foods, medicines and personal care products that contain contaminants that fuel all the horrific (yet preventable) diseases and disorders we see besieging the believers all across America daily. If you haven’t realized yet, start taking heed of all the scams, swindles and cons embedded into Follywood movies and shows, as if it’s just “normal” life for normal people with normal habits.

  1. Milk Consumption: Thousands of movies and shows feature lead characters filling up a glass with milk to drink, as if it’s normal and healthy to consume, even though conventional milk causes chronic inflammation and often contains hormones, antibiotics and other contaminants.
  2. Global Warming, a.k.a. “Climate Change”: Never has a bigger lie swept the globe faster than fake “climate change,” where humans are all supposed to believe that if Americans stop using gasoline, quit eating meat and scream “climate change” all day, the whole world will be saved from burning up and blowing away (plus dying from pandemics caused by human-warped weather). It’s climate change mass hypnosis, and the liberals are eating it up faster than an obese kid eats candy on Halloween night.
  3. Prescription Medications: Nearly every movie and show has a protagonist who swallows prescription drugs straight from the bottle next to the bed, usually first thing upon waking. Pay no mind that most of these drugs (including vaccines) contain dangerous, lab-concocted formulas that CAUSE disease and disorder, but never heal anything at all.
  4. Food Waste: Oftentimes, characters in movies and shows cook enough food to feed a small army, even though only a few people are eating (who usually only take one bite and leave). It’s common to see an entire kitchen table full of prepared food, fueling the obesity epidemic in America (one in every three people are overweight, and half of those are obese).
  5. Hard Drugs: In most movies and shows, actors who do hard drugs are just fine again within minutes or hours, having no problem functioning with daily life affairs. This is a grand illusion, as most drug addicts quit their jobs, have horrible health issues, become perverted, homeless and desperate for more drugs, plus risk overdose and/or prison with every high.
  6. Tap Water: In nearly every movie and show, at some point, an actor takes an empty glass, walks over to the faucet, turns on the water, fills the glass, then drinks it, like it’s perfectly normal and healthy. After all, it’s just water, right? Wrong. Most U.S. tap water is contaminated with a deadly insecticide called fluoride, that causes cancer, brittle bones, a calcified pineal gland, lowered IQ and does NOT prevent cavities. Check the research.

Get ready to see climate alarmism embedded in 50% of all new shows and movies Hollywood puts out

Eugenicist billionaires are now funding climate alarmists and Hollywood writers to embed climate “change” propaganda into at least HALF of all movies and shows, making characters highly emotional about the whole Ponzi scheme, pretending that it’s real and matters more than anything else ever.

This is the new playbook for “Follywood” and the writers are being commanded (with big payoffs) to make characters act angry and depressed about the fake climate crisis. It’s the “climate emergency fund” and if you don’t support it, you are deemed a domestic terrorist intent on killing everyone and everything that moves on the planet (even though nobody in India or China is attempting to pollute anything any less at all). This may seem like history repeating itself, as Hitler used propaganda films to get the rest of the world to believe in his psychotic schemes of depopulating the world while he attempted to become the sole tyrant.

This Is Where America Is at, Now: Opioid Overdose Antidotes to Be Available on Planes and in Schools https://americanconservativemovement.com/this-is-where-america-is-at-now-opioid-overdose-antidotes-to-be-available-on-planes-and-in-schools/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/this-is-where-america-is-at-now-opioid-overdose-antidotes-to-be-available-on-planes-and-in-schools/#respond Fri, 15 Mar 2024 03:34:25 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=201897 (The Epoch Times)—Amid a national epidemic of opioid overdose deaths, the Biden administration has launched an initiative to distribute naloxone-based antidotes widely, including in schools and on airplanes.

In a statement announcing the “Challenge to Save Lives from Overdose,” the White House described it as “a nationwide call-to-action to stakeholders across all sectors to save lives by committing to increase both training and access to lifesaving opioid overdose reversal medications.”

Often sold under the brand name Narcan, and carried by many first responders, naloxone rapidly reverses an opioid overdose.

“An overdose can happen anywhere, to anyone,” the White House said. “That’s why President Biden has worked to strengthen not only the whole-of-government response but also the whole-of-society response to this public health and public safety crisis.

“Today, we’re calling on organizations and businesses—big and small, public and private—across the country to help ensure all communities are ready to use this life-saving tool to reduce opioid deaths,” the statement continued.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), overdose deaths rose 30 percent between 2019 and 2020 and another 15 percent between 2020 and 2021.

The health agency says synthetic opioids such as fentanyl were largely to blame for the increase.

More than 109,000 Americans died from drug overdoses in the 12-month period ending January 2023, according to provisional data from the CDC. Nearly 70 percent involved illegally manufactured fentanyls (IMFs).

Fentanyl is a potent synthetic opioid that is 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times more potent than morphine. As little as 2 milligrams is potentially lethal.

According to U.S. officials, an increasing number of Mexican cartels have been importing fentanyl from China before pressing it into pills or mixing it into other counterfeit pills made to look like Xanax, Adderall, or oxycodone for sale in the United States.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has warned of a surge in overdoses involving fentanyl, which the agency says is killing Americans at an “unprecedented” rate.

As part of its “challenge,” the Biden administration is encouraging private companies and people across all sectors to train employees on opioid overdose reversal medications and keep overdose medications in first aid kits.

The administration is also urging them to distribute the medications to employees and customers so they might save a life at home, at work, or in their communities.

The drug overdose medication will be widely available, including in schools and other places of learning and on planes, including those run by Southwest Airlines, among others, and on state and local transport systems.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last year approved two opioid overdose drugs for over-the-counter (OTC) use—RiVive, which is manufactured by Harm Reduction Therapeutics and works as a nasal spray, and Narcan, the most widely used naloxone product.

“Saving lives is the North Star of the National Drug Control Strategy, and this effort requires more than just federal resources,” the White House said in the March 12 statement.

“We must come together. In memory of those we have lost and to protect those at risk of overdose, the Administration is refocusing the Nation’s attention on the devastation caused by illicit fentanyl, reaffirming our collective commitment to beating this crisis, and doubling down on efforts to empower all Americans to save lives,” officials said.

Oregon Lawmakers Set to Recriminalizing Hard Drugs After the Most Predictable Result Possible Came True https://americanconservativemovement.com/oregon-lawmakers-set-to-recriminalizing-hard-drugs-after-the-most-predictable-result-possible-came-true/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/oregon-lawmakers-set-to-recriminalizing-hard-drugs-after-the-most-predictable-result-possible-came-true/#comments Sat, 02 Mar 2024 14:33:46 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=201520 Editor’s Commentary: Oregon has allowed the use of hard drugs for the last few years, resulting in skyrocketing overdose deaths. Who could have predicted this? Well… anyone who isn’t suffering from advanced stage Woke Mind Virus.

But here’s the thing. As Democrats in Oregon scramble to champion the repealing of the policy they pushed hard until very recently, there will be no accountability. None of the lawmakers or activists who were either too stupid or too woke to realize that decriminalizing hard drugs would lead to more overdoses will be punished. Instead, they’ll probably fundraise off the notion that they are making the streets safer by reversing what they previously championed.

There are valid arguments for decriminalization that surround personal responsibility and not-your-concern libertarianism, but Ballot Measure 110 was never envisioned to do either. It’s just one of many asinine laws the UniParty Swamp has pushed under orders from the Globalist Elite Cabal to destabilize and eventually destroy America. That’s it. Here’s the news itself generated from corporate media reports…

(Discern Report)—Oregon lawmakers have recently voted to recriminalize certain drugs following a surge in overdose deaths and a state of emergency declaration for Portland’s fentanyl crisis. This move effectively ends a flagship liberal policy that was initially passed in 2020 under Ballot Measure 110, which aimed to decriminalize small amounts of all drugs and redirect marijuana tax revenue to fund addiction services.

Since the measure’s implementation, addiction and overdose rates have significantly increased in Oregon and across the country. In response, both Republicans and Democrats introduced legislation to roll back the controversial measure. The bill was passed by the state Senate 21-8 on Friday and by the House 51-7 on Thursday. It now awaits the signature of Gov. Tina Kotek, who has previously expressed openness to signing a bill that would reverse drug decriminalization.

The bill makes the possession of small amounts of drugs such as heroin or methamphetamine a misdemeanor, punishable by up to six months in jail. It also allows police to confiscate drugs and crack down on their use in public spaces like sidewalks and parks. Drug treatment is to be offered as an alternative to criminal penalties. Additionally, the bill aims to make it easier to prosecute drug dealers and increase access to medication for addiction.

However, some lawmakers, like Democratic Sen. Lew Frederick, have criticized the bill, arguing that it could move more people into the court system without actually improving their health. Concerns have also been raised about the cheap cost of fentanyl, which has caused a devastating impact on the community at just $0.25 per pill.

Despite these concerns, the bill has garnered support from many lawmakers who believe it will lead to “real and transformative change” for the justice system and help address the public health and safety crisis in downtown Portland.

Newsom Deploys 50% More California National Guardsmen to Border but They Aren’t Allowed to Stop Illegal Aliens https://americanconservativemovement.com/newsom-deploys-50-more-california-national-guardsmen-to-border-but-they-arent-allowed-to-stop-illegal-aliens/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/newsom-deploys-50-more-california-national-guardsmen-to-border-but-they-arent-allowed-to-stop-illegal-aliens/#comments Thu, 14 Sep 2023 08:51:55 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=196655 (Natural News)—California Gov. Gavin Newsome has increased the deployment of California National Guard (CalGuard) troops along the state’s border with Mexico by approximately 50 percent to combat the influx of fentanyl and other narcotics into the United States.

The additional CalGuard personnel will be deployed in five ports of entry along the southern border: Otay Mesa, San Ysidro, Tecate, Calexico East and Calexico West.

As the opioid crisis continues to take a heavy toll on American lives, with over 150 people dying from overdose and poisoning caused by synthetic opioids like fentanyl each day, Newsom’s “Master Plan for Tackling the Fentanyl and Opioid Crisis” includes the involvement of CalGuard in supporting federal, state and local law enforcement in counter-narcotics investigations and operations. (Related: Data shows fentanyl addiction is the leading cause of death among Americans aged 18 to 49.)

“Fentanyl is a deadly poison ripping families and communities apart,” Newsom declared in a statement on Sept. 7. “California is cracking down — and today we’re going further by deploying more CalGuard soldiers to combat this crisis and keep our communities safe.”

According to Maj. Gen. Matthew P. Beevers of the California Military Department, who oversees a dual federal and state military reserve force, including 367 CalGuard service members, the number of guards will increase from 40 to 60 soldiers based on the estimation that 65 percent of the narcotics supply in the U.S. enters through the California border.

With a proposed budget of $30 million, the expanded CalGuard deployment seeks to further support federal narcotics search operations. This investment seeks to expand the existing anti-drug programs and support High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas programs.

CalGuardsmen will assist with secondary vehicle inspections and x-rays of smuggled narcotics inside suspected trafficking vehicles. Given the additional deployment, vehicle X-rays will now operate nearly around the clock to increase the number of vehicles screened for narcotics.

At a press conference, Beevers highlighted the reported success of the CalGuard in assisting law enforcement in seizing over 11,763 pounds of fentanyl this year alone. Last year, the total fentanyl seizures in California reached 28,765 pounds, a 594 percent increase in fentanyl seizures with an estimated street value of more than $230 million.

GOP lawmakers, coalition of grieving parents demand harsher punishment for drug dealers

As Newsom deals with the never-ending fentanyl crisis, Republican lawmakers and a coalition of grieving parents have demanded harsher punishment for drug dealers.

The punishment, known as the “Alexandra’s Law,” was initially introduced by Democratic Sen. Tom Umberg, but it was struck down by the public safety committee of the Senate in April. However, Republican Assemblywoman Diane Dixon subsequently reintroduced the law in June and proposed it as a ballot initiative that would amend the constitution of California.

Currently, the proposed “Alexandra’s Law” requires courts to warn fentanyl dealers that they could be charged with murder if their drugs lead to fatal overdoses. Republican members of the California Assembly tried to push for a vote on this law.

Meanwhile, a separate initiative launched by a group of parents affiliated with “Stop Fentanyl Dealers” and drafted by Placer County District Attorney Morgan Gire seeks to hold fentanyl dealers more accountable by imposing more brutal prison sentences.

Gire’s office achieved a significant milestone by securing the first murder conviction for a fentanyl-related death in the state. However, the group needs to gather 650,000 signatures from Californians if they wish to place their initiative on the November 2021 ballot. In short, this fight against fentanyl still has a long way to go.

After Pretending to Not Know Whose Cocaine Was in the White House, Secret Service Reveals Drugs Found Twice in 2022 as Well https://americanconservativemovement.com/after-pretending-to-not-know-whose-cocaine-was-in-the-white-house-secret-service-reveals-drugs-found-twice-in-2022-as-well/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/after-pretending-to-not-know-whose-cocaine-was-in-the-white-house-secret-service-reveals-drugs-found-twice-in-2022-as-well/#comments Thu, 13 Jul 2023 20:31:42 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=194748 The White House cocaine story, which has been a major distraction for over a week, has been swept under the rug. In doing so, the Secret Service admitted just how incompetent (willfully or not) they are by declaring this isn’t the first time illegal substances were found in the White House during Joe Biden’s tenure.

Granted, it was just small amounts of marijuana that were found in the White House twice last year, but it’s still a prohibited substance. One would think that a Secret Service that takes their charter seriously would ramp up security, including cameras where they need to be, following the previous incidents. Nope. It’s as if they didn’t really want to know what’s happening with the regime, anyone in it, or anyone related to anyone in it.

Here are the details generated from corporate media news articles:

The White House experienced two incidents involving marijuana in 2022, prior to the discovery of cocaine in the West Wing. The Secret Service disclosed this information during a classified briefing with members of Congress regarding the cocaine investigation. The presence of marijuana on federal property, including the White House, is prohibited, although possessing less than two ounces of marijuana is not considered a crime in Washington, D.C.

According to a spokesperson for the Secret Service, “small amounts of marijuana” were found on two separate occasions in July and September of the previous year. Due to the decriminalization of marijuana possession in the District of Columbia, no arrests were made as the confiscated marijuana did not meet the legal threshold for federal or D.C. misdemeanor charges. The agents collected the marijuana and ensured its destruction. The spokesperson emphasized that both instances involved less than 0.2 ounces of marijuana and highlighted D.C.’s marijuana decriminalization policy.

The Secret Service has not yet responded to inquiries from Fox News Digital regarding the prohibition of illicit substances on federal property.

Representative Lauren Boebert, a Republican from Colorado, expressed concern about the lack of video surveillance in the area where the cocaine was discovered during the Fourth of July weekend. Boebert also noted that marijuana had been found twice on the White House grounds in 2022 during President Biden’s tenure. She suggested that security measures should have been in place before the cocaine incident and questioned the type of individuals being allowed into the White House under the current administration.

During the classified briefing, Boebert specifically inquired about the security measures in the lockers where the cocaine was found. She mentioned that the Secret Service admitted that the key to the relevant locker was missing. Boebert stated that there were 182 lockers in that foyer and over 500 people had accessed the West Wing during the weekend in question. However, none of those individuals are currently considered suspects, and the investigation seems focused on closing the case rather than pursuing further leads.

Boebert also revealed that there are no logs or video surveillance of the lockers. The Secret Service conducted background searches on the over 500 individuals who entered the West Wing during that weekend but did not find any results that flagged specific persons. Boebert suggested that every staffer who was present during that time should undergo drug testing.

Representative Jamie Raskin, a Democrat from Maryland, defended the Secret Service, arguing that subjecting hundreds of potential suspects to drug tests would be an excessive violation of civil liberties. Raskin compared the situation to finding small amounts of drugs in the Capitol Complex, stating that it would not be reasonable to drug test all employees in such cases.

They moved vagrants around, tried to warn off drug dealers, and assigned police to do what they used to do in the distant past: Arrest people.

It didn’t work. Their efforts were wasted as the city was clearly in shambles despite their best efforts and social media had fun at their expense. One particular viral video epitomized the situation perfectly.

As fans walked near the stadium during All-Star Week, a fentanyl deal was caught on camera spilling his murderous pills. Some people took the polite but extremely dangerous course of trying to help him pick them up. Watch:

It’s hard to tell what’s worse: A drug dealer spilling his lethal drugs in broad daylight or the fact that most people didn’t seem to care. As bad as they expect things to be in Seattle, it’s actually even worse.

‘There’s Too Many of Us’: Dealers Scoff at Any Attempts to Reduce Drugs on San Francisco Streets https://americanconservativemovement.com/theres-too-many-of-us-dealers-scoff-at-any-attempts-to-reduce-drugs-on-san-francisco-streets/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/theres-too-many-of-us-dealers-scoff-at-any-attempts-to-reduce-drugs-on-san-francisco-streets/#comments Fri, 26 May 2023 18:43:32 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=192989 DCNFDrug dealers, pimps and users laughed when asked about a potential 90-day crackdown on open-air drug use on San Francisco streets, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

On Tuesday, Board of Supervisors president Aaron Peskin demanded that San Francisco Mayor London Breed close down “drug supermarkets” in 90 days, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. “That ain’t gonna happen,” Stephon Fowler, a drug dealer on Sixth Street, told the outlet.

“There’s too much going on out here, and unless they bring in the Army, Navy and Marines, that’s not going to change,” he said.

Daryl Dietrich, another homeless man, also doubts the ability of the city to contain rampant drug use. “There’s too many of us,” he said from his wheelchair while balancing glass pipes and foil for drug consumption.

Members of the National Guard and Highway Patrol started setting up shop in some of the city’s hot spots, but that hasn’t seemed to have a noticeable effect. So far, their presence has moved drug dealing to the outer limits of the area, rather than disbanding it, according to the Chronicle.

Shop owners within the Tenderloin, the San Francisco area most rife with drug use, told the Chronicle they are not optimistic for any enforcement of lawlessness.

“See the crackheads outside my door?” said business owner Willie Masarweh.

“They’re still smiling; we’re not,” Masarweh said. “I think some 90-day plan is do-able if in City Hall their intentions and hearts are in the same place – police, DA, rehab, supervisors, everyone.”

“As long as we have a bunch of freebies – food, needles, clothes – there’s no incentive for them to stop,” he said.

“I call the TL (Tenderloin) the ‘belly of the beast,’ and the only thing that could get me to stop would be God,” said Fowler. “I  boost, I sell everything – meth, fentanyl, crack,” he said.

A recent poll by Probolsky Research found that 73% of San Franciscans were unhappy with the trajectory of the city, and almost 60% of voters viewed Breed unfavorably. Crime has been central to San Francisco residents’ disdain, with a CityBeat poll finding that only 30% of residents feel safe at night.

In 2022, Breed’s plan to address public drug use was a building called the “linkage center,” which aimed to introduce addicts to treatment while providing them with the materials needed to use drugs, like alcohol swabs and clean needles. It shuttered after a little over a year over complaints of open-air drug use and crime, according to ABC 7.
