Biden said on Saturday while viewing storm damage in Florida following Hurricane Idalia that he had wanted to go to East Palestine, but that a busy schedule prevented him from doing so, Fox News reported. “At this point, I don’t even care if Biden comes, he has already insulted us,” East Palestine resident Jamie Wallace told “Fox and Friends” guest host Nicole Saphier.

“We are here, we are still sick. We do have unmet needs. We need to have representation at this hearing that’s coming up in East Palestine when our politicians they come in they meet with very cherry-picked groupings of the community and it’s not representative of most of us that are still suffering, still in hotels, still relocated,” Wallace said. “I don’t care. This is not a red issue, it’s not a blue issue. This is an issue of human lives and it can happen to every single person watching this that has a railroad track within 30 miles. You know, this is about human lives.”

A train carrying toxic chemicals derailed near East Palestine, Ohio, on Feb. 3, prompting evacuations and shelter-in-place orders as authorities moved to address the release of the chemicals. Officials warned of a possible “catastrophic blast” on Feb. 6, and carried out a controlled burn of chemicals, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

“This guy has actively not shown any compassion or moral value to anything, emotionally, physically, he hasn’t shown up and there has been no help for us economically or with our residents,” East Palestine resident D.J. Yokley said. “It’s really frustrating to see him go and say he is too busy for people that literally put him in the office.”

East Palestine resident Courtney Miller said she and her kids have been living in a motel since the derailment. “I don’t want to take my kids into something that obviously Biden doesn’t even want to show up,” Miller told Saphier. “So, there’s obviously some reason as to why he is not coming.”

“If he comes now, it will only be because he feels forced to come, which is not going to be genuine. Just get us federal support. Get us help. We are not okay, Wallace said.

DANGEROUS LIES: East Palestine, Ohio Residents Initially Told That Derailed Train Contained Only Malt Liquor https://americanconservativemovement.com/dangerous-lies-east-palestine-ohio-residents-initially-told-that-derailed-train-contained-only-malt-liquor/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/dangerous-lies-east-palestine-ohio-residents-initially-told-that-derailed-train-contained-only-malt-liquor/#respond Tue, 23 May 2023 13:29:33 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=192875 Residents of East Palestine in Ohio were initially told that the Norfolk Southern train that derailed in their town contained only malt liquor, a type of drinking alcohol. This was later proven false as the train’s cars also carried harmful chemicals that continue to affect locals.

The Daily Mail first broke the news of this revelation, citing newly emerged recordings of frantic 911 calls it obtained. Emergency dispatchers were initially reassuring concerned callers that there was no need to evacuate. The dispatchers had been advised that the 38 cars involved in the accident contained “some type of drinking alcohol.”

Within two hours of the derailment, a firefighter on the scene called 911 to give an assessment of the substances that spilled. The firefighter said: “We have been advised the tankers are all malt liquor.” A male voice on the other end of the line attested to the malt liquor story, adding that the scene was “very, very chaotic.”

A male resident called 911 to ask what was in the train cars, prompting the female dispatcher to ask a colleague. She asked what substance was in the front cars that derailed, and if any hazardous materials were present. The dispatcher returned the call and told the resident: “There was some type of drinking alcohol in the front, [though] I’m not sure what was in the back.”

One desperate grandmother also called, saying: “If it’s chemicals [that spilled], I want to go and get my granddaughter.” The dispatcher reassured her that she and her granddaughter were “good” as there was no need to evacuate. (Related: Eric Coppolino and the Health Ranger call for the TOTAL EVACUATION of East Palestine due to extremely toxic “dioxin fallout” that will poison the land and crops for GENERATIONS.)

Reports revealed that malt liquor was indeed on the Norfolk Southern train that derailed. However, it later emerged that five of the 38 train cars contained toxic substances –including vinyl chloride, which is used to make plastic. Authorities ordered the spilled substances to be burned, resulting in these chemicals turning into dioxins that caused respiratory problems and skin irritation among residents.

East Palestine’s fire chief felt he was left to sit by and watch things fall apart

According to the Mail, city officials blamed the erroneous reports and conflicting advice on Norfolk Southern’s initial response minutes after the crash. Brian Drabick, chief of the East Palestine Fire Department (EPFD), said dispatchers were working off information provided by the company.

Based on emails and text messages obtained and published by the news outlet, the fire chief had to bear the brunt of the poor communication among local and federal officials. This, the Mail added, came as he desperately tried to lead East Palestine through the disaster.

In the days following the derailment, Drabick wrote about how he felt “defeated, useless and so angry.” He became furious after being informed that one of his firefighters had developed asthma due to exposure to toxic chemicals. The fire chief lamented: “Why does this have to be so hard?”

The correspondences also revealed how the fire chief felt like he was left to “sit by and watch s**t fall apart. They also disclosed how Drabick felt like Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine had abandoned him. Moreover, he admitted to having to take a moment because he was getting “overwhelmed” with everything that was happening.

In one of the messages, Drabick disclosed that he had lost faith in the East Palestine City Health Department after it told him to treat the derailment “like a normal house fire.”

In a March 31 statement provided to The Epoch Times, CDC spokesperson Belsie Gonzalez advised that the illnesses occurred on March 6, when seven members of a 15-person team of CDC and Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) staff reported symptoms such as sore throat, headache, coughing, and nausea.

Their symptoms, Gonzalez noted, were consistent with those reported by some East Palestine residents and first responders, whom the team was surveying to assess the potential health effects of their exposure to the chemicals released by the Feb. 3 derailment.

Sore Throats, Headaches, Nausea

“Following protocol, team members reported the symptoms to federal safety officers,” she said.

“Symptoms resolved for most team members later the same afternoon, and everyone resumed work on survey data collection within 24 hours. Impacted team members have not reported ongoing health effects.”

Gonzalez added that the survey collection process, which started mid-February, will end on March 31.

“Once completed, CDC/ATSDR staff will analyze the data and provide it to state health officials in Ohio and Pennsylvania,” she said. “FEMA and EPA teams remain on the ground to support response efforts.”

News of the government employees’ illnesses followed the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) filing of a lawsuit on March 31 against Norfolk Southern, seeking to hold the railroad company accountable for “unlawfully polluting the nation’s waterways” through the toxic derailment.

“When a Norfolk Southern train derailed last month in East Palestine, Ohio, it released toxins into the air, soil, and water, endangering the health and safety of people in surrounding communities,” Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a statement.

‘Pursuing Justice’

“With this complaint, the Justice Department and the EPA are acting to pursue justice for the residents of East Palestine and ensure that Norfolk Southern carries the financial burden for the harm it has caused and continues to inflict on the community.”

In the complaint, the DOJ noted that the chemicals involved in the spill—which included the highly toxic and flammable gas of vinyl chloride, among others—had previously been linked to adverse health effects.

“Exposure to these hazardous materials at sufficiently high levels has been associated variously with an increased risk of cancer; risks to fetal development; damage to organs like the liver, kidneys, lungs, and skin; and other health conditions,” the filing states.

In the short term, East Palestine residents have reported a range of concerning symptoms in the wake of the derailment, nausea, headaches, rashes, burning sensations, and difficulty breathing.

In a class action lawsuit East Palestine residents filed last month against Norfolk Southern, one resident reported experiencing a “sudden and unprecedented bout of dizziness” the day after the derailment, as well as “intense” coughing fits, shortness of breath, and sharp pain in his head.

And despite state and federal officials’ assurances that the air and water in the area are safe, many remain doubtful and uncertain as to what long-term health effects they might experience.

The DOJ’s lawsuit, filed at the request of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Michael Regan, asks the court to find Norfolk Southern liable for the government’s response costs and require the company to “take appropriate actions to remedy, mitigate, and offset the harm to public health and the environment.”

“From the very beginning, I pledged to the people of East Palestine that EPA would hold Norfolk Southern fully accountable for jeopardizing the community’s health and safety,” Regan said.

“No community should have to go through what East Palestine residents have faced.

“With today’s action, we are once more delivering on our commitment to ensure Norfolk Southern cleans up the mess it made and pays for the damage they have inflicted as we work to ensure this community can feel safe at home again.”

East Palestine’s “Containment Dam” Overflows https://americanconservativemovement.com/east-palestines-containment-dam-overflows/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/east-palestines-containment-dam-overflows/#comments Mon, 06 Mar 2023 07:05:17 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=190917 The makeshift dam designed to prevent toxic water contamination in East Palestine, Ohio following the toxic train derailment, has failed and overflowed. Mainstream media reports that “heavy rain” caused the water to overflow near East Palestine’s city park, causing more concern among residents.

More East Palestine Residents Report Health Issues Following Toxic Chemical Spill

Many residents are already ill from the initial toxins released into the air and waterways after a train carrying said toxins derailed in early February. Some have taken to Twitter and other social media outlets to express their concerns that the media continues to brush off.

Mary McCarron, a public information officer for the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, tells Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 the large pool was a containment dam that “was actually part of mitigation work surrounding the storm.” WTAE4, an ABC News affiliate, further reported that McCarron also said no visible waste was released into nearby streams.

“This water is not coming from the derailment site,” Thomas A. Crosson, senior director of strategic communications with Norfolk Southern said. “We have purposely dammed this area to raise water levels to allow for aeration. In heavy rain events, those waters can rise and is not a reason for concern.”

Residents feel otherwise.

Eric Cozza tells 19 News Cleveland that he’s frightened to think about what this new threat could mean, “I fear that now the chemical is in the ground, it’s going to leach towards the water ducts, our aquifer for drinking water. I’m concerned that the park is now contaminated. Kids won’t be able to play there or walk through there on their way to school.”

Cozza’s family has already been diagnosed by a doctor with chemical irritation or rashes on their skin, with the overflow of water Cozza says the odor of chemicals is back in the air again, “I have fear, I’ve had fear and now this just put the anxiety over the top.”

The bad news just keeps rolling in for Ohio as well. Another Norfolk Southern train derailed in Springfield yesterday. Nearby residents were asked to shelter in place after a Norfolk Southern train derailed near a highway in the Springfield, Ohio, area on Saturday.

Norfolk Southern confirmed in a statement to CBS News that 20 cars of a 212-car train derailed. The railway company said there were no hazardous materials aboard the train, and there were no reported injuries.

East Palestine Toxic Chemical Spill Could Affect Far-Off Cities and Suburbs https://americanconservativemovement.com/east-palestine-toxic-chemical-spill-could-affect-far-off-cities-and-suburbs/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/east-palestine-toxic-chemical-spill-could-affect-far-off-cities-and-suburbs/#comments Wed, 01 Mar 2023 20:43:41 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=190892 Health and environmental concerns have been arising following the Norfolk Southern train derailment on Feb. 3 that caused a chemical “cocktail” spill in East Palestine, Ohio. People fear the potential adverse effects of authorities’ decision to embark on “controlled burning” of vinyl chloride and other cancer-causing toxins found in the site to avert a “potential explosion” and to “clean up” the wreck.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) already released statements that the region’s air and drinking water are safe. In fact, EPA Administrator Michael Regan, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and other government officials drank water from the East Palestine municipal water authority to assure the residents of the village that the water supply is safe.

EPA has already greenlit removing hazardous materials from the derailment site by the train company after asking the company to temporarily halt shipments until the plans could undergo a federal review.

“Moving forward, waste disposal plans, including disposal location and transportation routes for contaminated waste, will be subject to federal EPA review and approval,” said Debra Shore, the administrator of the EPA’s Region 5 Office. “EPA will ensure that all waste is disposed of in a safe and lawful manner.”

But aquatic and land animals are dying and getting sick. Some people in the area are also complaining of illnesses, some are even coughing out blood. Concerned citizens could not help but worry that the contamination could have also reached far-off cities and suburbs.

Grocery chain Giant Eagle, which has hundreds of stores in five states, including Ohio and Pennsylvania, recalled their bottled water out of an “abundance of caution” because it was bottled 25 miles from the chemical spill site, following questions posted on social media whether the grocery chain’s bottled water was safe to drink.

The company claimed that its water comes from a protected spring, not near any affected groundwater sources. They also assured consumers that third-party lab testing had revealed no abnormalities. But it still decided to take down the water sourced from the Salineville facility until further notice while health officials continue to review the impacts of the derailment.

Meanwhile, some residents of Deer Park, Texas, posted online that they were shocked to discover that wastewater from the incident was headed to a hazardous waste disposal facility in the Lone Star State.
Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo said in a news conference that some 30 trucks a day of water had begun arriving in Harris County last week. She told residents her office is researching the transportation and disposal of the water to make sure it meets regulations.

Health Ranger slams EPA, Ohio for covering up the deadliest toxin they’ve created out of the derailment

Health Ranger Mike Adams slammed EPA and the Ohio local government officials for downplaying the potential damage of the most toxic molecule they have created: dioxin.

In an interview with Resistance Chicks Michelle and Leah Svensson, Adams said the persistent organic pollutant is also the scariest and most toxic molecule created by mankind and they can be toxic at parts-per-quadrillion concentrations. (Related: Eight alarming cover-ups and contradictions in the East Palestine train wreck chemical nightmare now spreading across multiple states.)

The “forever chemical” was spread to air, water and ground in the derailment when the authorities ordered to burn off the vinyl chloride as well as butyl acrylate, benzene residue, ethylene glycol mono butyl ether, ethylhexyl acrylate and isobutylene.

“Dioxins are always created when chlorinated compounds are burned within a certain temperature range. They are also the most deadly chemical compounds known to humankind,” Adams noted.

As of writing, EPA and the local government of Ohio are still refusing to test for dioxins, not even admitting that the harmful chemical has been released into the ecosystem.

“The entire town of East Palestine may ultimately have to be condemned, razed and decontaminated. Instead, the EPA is spreading the toxic waste across multiple states,” Adams said.

But as is often the case, the official story is only in place for the plebeian class. The powers-that-be know the truth and one of them admitted it today.

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan visited East Palestine and took some questions. The answer to a question posed by independent journalist Nick Sortor prompted an honest and scary answer from Regan. Watch:

“Would you allow your kids anywhere close to these streams right now,” Sortor asked.

“I would not,” Regan, replied. “I’m a father of a nine-year-old. I think we have to all agree that we wish this accident didn’t occur. But the accident occurred and as a result, some of our creeks and our streams have pollution in them.”

At least he was honest.

I have known her for years, and I have visited with her in her own living room, and so I can vouch for her honesty.  She told me that her “son-in-law manages three organic food farms in California, Idaho, and Washington State”, and that he is “warning family and friends to get ready for severe food shortages starting this spring”.  Apparently there are several factors that will cause food supplies to be tighter, and one of the biggest is the fact that the “Ohio spill has contaminated a lot of land and water”.  Apparently there is a scramble “to find clean food” and her son-in-law is receiving lots of phone calls from buyers in the eastern half of the nation that want to buy what his farms are producing.

We will just have to wait and see if things will be as bad as this source is suggesting.

But we do know that some companies have already started to take action due to concerns about contamination.

For example, one grocery chain has already removed bottled water from store shelves “because it was bottled 25 miles from the derailment”

Weeks after a train derailment near the Ohio-Pennsylvania border left hazardous chemicals burning from railcars, fears of the potential impacts are being felt in places far from the accident.

Grocery chain Giant Eagle, with hundreds of stores in five states including Ohio and Pennsylvania, pulled bottled water off shelves out of an “abundance of caution” because it was bottled 25 miles from the derailment.

And we also know that large numbers of animals are dying.

In fact, officials are now publicly admitting that approximately 43,000 “fish, amphibians, crustaceans and other aquatic animals” are already dead…

The derailment in East Palestine potentially killed more than 43,000 fish, amphibians, crustaceans and other aquatic animals in nearby streams, state officials said Thursday.

It will take time for the stream ecosystem to recover, said Mary Mertz, director of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

“We know it won’t be quick,” she said. “But it’s going to come back.”

Ultimately, the final death toll among animals will inevitably be much larger.

Another thing that we know is that lots of people that live in and around East Palestine are getting sick.  The following example comes from the New York Post

Wade Lovett’s been having trouble breathing since the Feb. 3 Norfolk South train derailment and toxic explosion here. In fact, his voice sounds as if he’s been inhaling helium.

“Doctors say I definitely have the chemicals in me but there’s no one in town who can run the toxicological tests to find out which ones they are,” Lovett, 40, an auto detailer, said in an extremely high-pitched voice. “My voice sounds like Mickey Mouse. My normal voice is low. It’s hard to breathe, especially at night. My chest hurts so much at night I feel like I’m drowning. I cough up phlegm a lot. I lost my job because the doctor won’t release me to go to work.”

We have never seen anything quite like this before, and there are so many questions that are going unanswered.

Right now, a lot of people are wondering why the EPA has suddenly stopped all shipments of contaminated waste from the disaster site…

Federal environmental authorities have ordered a temporary halt in the shipment of contaminated waste from the site of a fiery train derailment earlier this month in eastern Ohio near the Pennsylvania state line.

Region 5 administrator Debra Shore of the Environmental Protection Agency said Saturday the agency ordered Norfolk Southern to “pause” shipments from the site of the Feb. 3 derailment in East Palestine but vowed that removal of the material would resume “very soon.”

Why can’t they tell us why they made this decision?

And why won’t Joe Biden go to Ohio?

When he was directly asked about visiting East Palestine, this is how he responded

The president answered, ‘At this point, I’m not,’ but then he appeared confused and strained as he tried to explain himself.

‘I did a whole video, I mean, um, what the hell, on,’ Biden rambled as he looked for reporters to fill in the gap.

‘Zoom?’ one of the reporters said, trying to help the president.

‘Zoom! All I can think of every time I think of Zoom is that song in my generation, Who’s Zoomin’ Who,’ he said, referencing the Aretha Franklin song.

Come on Joe.

Is that really the best that you can do?

Meanwhile, we continue to see very odd disasters happen at critical facilities all over North America.  On Thursday, massive fires suddenly erupted at three different Pemex facilities

Three separate fires at Petroleos Mexicanos facilities on Thursday killed one worker, left at least eight people injured and several others missing, putting the Mexican state oil company’s safety record under scrutiny ahead of its earnings call on Monday.

Are we supposed to believe that three separate facilities all had catastrophic “accidents” on the exact same day?

Here in the United States, more than 100 food processing facilities have been mysteriously destroyed over the past couple of years.

How many incidents have to happen before authorities will finally admit that there is some sort of a pattern?

Food production just keeps getting hit over and over gain, and this comes at a time when the global food shortages that we have been anticipating have already begun.

I would highly recommend stocking up while you still can, because we are moving into times of great uncertainty.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has been the living personification of a debacle, and that was BEFORE the U.S. infrastructure started falling apart under his watch.

Investigative reporter Jennie Taer from the Daily Caller News Foundation caught up with Buttigieg as he was on his way for a night out on the town. She asked basic questions about the Secretary’s response to the East Palestine ecological disaster, to which Buttigieg refused to respond. Instead, he asked to take the reporter’s picture, assumably to put her on a list of “undesirables” for the Deep State to monitor.

Watch:

While this guy’s out having fun, there are lives being destroyed across America in his wake. As bad as the Biden-Harris regime has been for this nation, Pete Buttigieg stands out as exceptionally destructive.

The Poisoning of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania Is Much Worse Than We Are Being Told https://americanconservativemovement.com/190658-2/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/190658-2/#respond Tue, 21 Feb 2023 22:41:20 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=190658 The true horror of what just happened in East Palestine, Ohio is starting to become clear, but federal, state and local officials continue to insist that everything is just fine.  So even though local residents have been puking up blood and developing weird rashes on their skin, everyone is being told that it is perfectly safe to return to their homes and that it is perfectly safe to drink the water.  This should make all of us extremely angry, because so many of these people are going to get sick and so many of them are going to die.

Look, the truth should be obvious to everyone at this stage.

Even CNN is admitting that local residents “have developed rashes, sore throats, nausea and headaches after returning to their homes this week“…

Some residents of East Palestine, Ohio, say they have developed rashes, sore throats, nausea and headaches after returning to their homes this week, and they’re worried these new symptoms are related to chemicals released after a train derailment two weeks ago.

The February 3 incident caused a massive fire and prompted officials to evacuate hundreds of people who lived near the site because of fears that a hazardous, highly flammable material might ignite. To prevent a potentially deadly explosion, toxic vinyl chloride gas was vented and burned, releasing a plume of black smoke over the town for days.

Please note that these local residents did not develop these symptoms before they evacuated.

According to CNN, these symptoms developed after they returned to their homes.

And those local residents only returned to their homes because authorities told them that it was safe to do so.

When the decision was made to burn the vinyl chloride, officials knew that it would release enormous amounts of phosgene gas into the air…

Burning vinyl chloride, as the railroad company ultimately did, turns it into hydrogen chloride and phosgene gas, the later of which was used as a weapon of mass slaughter in World War I.

Concerning the release, Silverado Caggiano, a hazardous materials specialist, told WKBN, “We basically nuked a town with chemicals so we could get a railroad open.”

The air, soil and water in much of eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania have been poisoned, and they will continue to remain poisoned for the foreseeable future.

But the CEO of Norfolk Southern insists that burning the vinyl chloride was the “right move”

Shaw claimed that the decision to destroy the five derailed train cars and release a column of black, toxic smoke into the air above the village on Feb. 6 was the right one — a claim he reiterated on Sunday, telling the DailyMail.com with a smile that it was the “right move.”

According to the Norfolk Southern CEO, the “terrifying” plume of toxic smoke resulting from the “controlled release” signaled success.

If this was the “right move”, I would hate to see what the “wrong move” would have looked like.

So many local residents have been developing really weird rashes lately.  In fact, News Nation just interviewed one woman that developed multiple rashes on her body after showering in East Palestine water that is supposedly safe

Does watching that footage anger you?

It should.

Tucker Carlson interviewed another resident of East Palestine that says that he has a “chemical burn on my face”

But don’t worry.

Authorities are telling us that this is perfectly normal.

Yes another local resident says that he was literally puking up blood after evacuating from East Palestine…

Nathan continued: ‘I woke up about 6am after the night we evacuated and I was on the verge of calling the ER. I was coughing up blood.

‘All I could think of was to strip down and cool myself off and go outside to get some relief. I was hot all over. I was very tired.

‘It was until Thursday or Friday that week until I started to feel some relief. Coming back here now though my lips are starting to get tingly again and I feel a scratch in my throat and I’m getting headaches.’

So many others have reported similar symptoms.

What we are witnessing is a cover up of epic proportions, and the officials that are participating in this cover up should be held accountable.

But I doubt that will ever happen.

It isn’t just adults that are being affected.

Children that are being brought back to their homes in East Palestine are also quickly developing extremely alarming symptoms once they return

Ayla and Tyler Antoniazzi and their two daughters have been living in East Palestine since April. After the train crash, they weren’t sure about moving out, Ayla says, but they’re now considering it.

The Antoniazzis returned to their house less than a mile from the accident site the day after the evacuation notice was lifted.

“Before bringing my kids back home, I washed all the linen and a bunch of clothes, cleaned surfaces and aired the house out,” Ayla said. “But the next day when they woke up, they weren’t themselves. My oldest had a rash on her face. The youngest did too but not as bad. The 2-year-old was holding her eye and complaining that her eye was hurting. She was very lethargic, so I took them back to my parents’ home.”

The officials that told them that it was safe to return to their homes should be completely and utterly ashamed of themselves.

Do they actually expect anyone to trust them after this?

Before I end this article, there are three really odd “coincidences” that I wanted to mention.

Firstly, I think that it is very strange that residents of East Palestine “were urged to sign up and pick up a MyID device” just days before the train derailed…

In October, the East Palestine Fire Department announced it would be using the MyID service to allow residents to have health information stored and available to fire responders, according to the Morning Journal.

In late January, residents were urged to sign up and pick up a MyID device, according to WKBN-TV. The fire department promoted a sign-up that was held on Jan. 29, only a few days before the Feb. 3 derailment that changed East Palestine forever.

Secondly, an “18 inch pipe bomb” was just found on train tracks in Pennsylvania…

An 18 inch pipe bomb was discovered behind a church in the Holmesburg section of northeast Philadelphia.

The bomb was found on Sunday afternoon behind St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, on the 8500 block of Frankford Avenue, according to reports by Fox 29.

One Twitter account of the location of the bomb pinned it to train tracks behind the church. The bomb was “near [the] Conrail railroad tracks in Philadelphia’s Holmesburg section”.

Were any of the major train derailments that we have seen in recent weeks caused by similar devices?

Thirdly, last week an absolutely massive fire erupted at one of the largest chemical plants in Europe

More than 100 emergency workers had finally made some headway on a massive fire at an industrial compound outside of Milan late on Wednesday, Italian media reported. However, several workers were badly injured thousands of liters of chemicals were still burning.

“The situation is quite complex due to the nature of the material, which is liquid solvents in large quantities,” the local fire was quoted as saying by Italian daily Corriere della Sera.

The fire broke out early in the morning in the town of San Giuliano Milanese, southeast of Milan at the Nitrolchimica company, which deals with solvent recovery and hazardous waste disposal.

Perhaps there is no connection between any of these three “coincidences” and the disaster that just occurred in East Palestine.

But in this day and age it pays to be observant.

We live in very strange times, and they will soon get a whole lot stranger.

If you live anywhere in eastern Ohio or western Pennsylvania, I would very much encourage you to consider leaving.

I know that it is not easy to start fresh somewhere else, but it is certainly a better choice than getting sick and slowly dying.

Uh Oh: East Palestine Residents Are Breaking Out in Rashes https://americanconservativemovement.com/uh-oh-east-palestine-residents-are-breaking-out-in-rashes/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/uh-oh-east-palestine-residents-are-breaking-out-in-rashes/#respond Sun, 19 Feb 2023 19:48:18 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=190597 Locals who live near the train derailment and release of toxic chemicals near East PalestineOhio, have complained about various health problems since the incident unfolded earlier this month, including rashes, headaches, and other issues. And they’ve expressed concerns that these new symptoms may be tied to the chemicals that were burned or released.

The Feb. 3 derailment triggered officials to initiate a controlled release and burn of various chemicals as they cited concerns that those materials would explode and send out deadly shrapnel. Chemicals carried on the Norfolk Southern-operated train include toxic vinyl chloride gas, which was vented and burned, releasing a large cloud of black smoke that hung over the area for days.

A plume of chemicals from the train derailment was also detected heading down the Ohio River, although some Ohio environmental officials assert that they may largely be fire retardant substances used to put out the fire. Other chemicals carried on the train include butyl acrylate, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether acetate, and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said (pdf).

Residents of East Palestine were told they could return to their homes on Feb. 8. Since then, there have been reports from locals of adverse health events they’ve suffered amid separate reports of animals, including fish and chickens, dying off.

“When we went back on the 10th, that’s when we decided that we couldn’t raise our kids here,” local Amanda Greathouse told CNN, adding that in the area, there was a smell that “reminded me of hair perming solution.”

About 30 minutes after returning home earlier this month, she developed nausea and a rash, Greathouse told the network. Her house is located about a block from the train derailment site.

“When we left, I had a rash on my skin on my arm, and my eyes were burning for a few days after that,” added Greathouse, who said she has two preschool-age children.

“The chemical smell was so strong that it made me nauseous,” Greathouse said. “I just wanted to quickly pick up what I needed and leave. I only took a few pieces of clothes because even the clothes smelled like chemicals, and I’m afraid to put them on my kids.”

Another local, Katlyn Schwarzwaelder, said she and her boyfriend, Chris, returned home to East Palestine earlier this month. A rash broke out almost instantly after she came back, she told NewsNation.

“I undressed to get into the shower, and I had a rash all over the side of my face on both sides and all over my chest,” Schwarzwaelder said, adding: “My boyfriend Chris also had a rash on his left side, and I mean to this moment, right now, I have just a really low-grade constant headache.”

Dave Anderson, a farmer in nearby New Galilee, Pennsylvania, told the Washington Post last week that both he and his family have experienced a burning sensation in the mouth, tongue, and lips about a day after the crash. Other symptoms reported include tongue swelling, runny nose, and watery eyes.

Anderson added that “our tongues still feel like they have been scalded—like if you drank something that was too hot.”

Ohio EPA officials, including director Anne Vogel, left, took a tour of the damage in East Palestine, Ohio, on Feb. 16, 2023. “I’m going to East Palestine and will get a glass of water, and I’m going to ask him to drink it because I don’t believe it,” said Dave Anderson, a farmer in nearby New Galilee, Pennsylvania. Anderson, a plaintiff in a class-action lawsuit against Norfolk Southern, said his cattle have had diarrhea since the disaster.

A spokesman for DeWine told the Washington Post last Thursday that no doctors have seen patients who have been able to identify the chemical release as the cause of their symptoms. “There’s usually another explanation for those symptoms,” including colds and influenza, spokesman Dan Tierney told the paper, although he did not provide specific evidence for that statement.

And over the weekend, the CEO of Norfolk Southern, Alan Shaw, visited East Palestine and again vowed to clean up the crash site. His firm is already facing several class-action lawsuits connected to the derailment.

“I know there are still a lot of questions without answers. I know you’re tired. I know you’re worried,” Shaw said in a statement. “We will not let you down.”
