Phillip issued her diagnosis of the Democratic Party’s issues when speaking at the Institute of Politics for the Harvard Kennedy School of Business last week.
“Democrats are in that place now where they have to break out of it, and I think it is a real problem. It’s not as simple as wokeness or whatever. It’s about people who are being incentivized to think about issues in a particular way,” Phillip said.
The CNN anchor said that Democrats could fall victim to “groupthink” if they become too circular in their lines of communication.
“I have observed that elites increasingly talk only to each other and come to believe that because there is consensus among them, that that consensus is shared broadly, and there are not enough voices that are confident enough to disagree and to present alternatives,” she said. “And we as a society need to find better ways to uplift divergent voices. Otherwise, we will be victims of groupthink.”
Phillip chalked the party’s problem up to “elitism in general.”
“There needs to be more courage among people to speak out and to voice diverging opinion. Otherwise, you know, I think it’s a real issue, and it’s not just the Ivy League. I think it’s elitism in general,” she said. […]

The amped up media rhetoric might explain the hysterical fears of fascism, but there’s more to it than the forked tongues of CNN and MSNBC. Why does it seem like leftists have gone far more insane during the latest election cycle? What’s different this time?
Losing The Popular Vote
Democrats often fall back on the argument that “something is wrong” with American voting methodology when they lose an election. They blame the electoral college because they don’t understand how it works or why it’s important. Needless to say, the Founding Fathers were highly suspicious of pure Democracy and sought to prevent tyranny by the majority. The EC helps to stop the major population centers of the nation (people that lean towards exploitation of rural producers) from ruling over all the people in the “flyover states”.
Because the protections of the 10th Amendment and state’s rights have been diluted over the past century, the Electoral College is usually the only thing standing in the way of fully centralized government under the control of blue population centers holding a few million more votes more than the rest of the country.
In 2024, though, Trump won the popular vote on top of the EC. The Democrats have no excuses to hide behind and they can no longer claim they’re the majority. They realize the popular vote, which they hold in reverence, is against them. The “democracy” they claim to protect did not work in their favor and now they’re confused.
Desperation For A Token Female President
The establishment media initially argued that Kamala Harris lost because of her race. But when it became clear that more black men and a large percentage of Hispanics voted against her compared to Barack Obama, the MSM shifted their narrative and blamed “misogyny” instead.
The same people who refuse to accept the scientific definition of a woman are mad that we still don’t have a woman president. Trump has defeated Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, and this has driven third-wave feminists into a spiraling breakdown. The problem is not that Democrats ran two women against Trump, the problem is that they ran two corrupt and reprehensible women against Trump. The character of the individual matters far more than identity politics.
Kamala Harris’ massive loss heralds the death of the social justice crusade and feminism in general, and this is very difficult for leftists to handle.
Get Woke, Go Broke Confirmed
When asked why they voted for Trump Americans often mention the economy, but in the same breath they cite woke ideology as the reason why they no longer support the Democrats. For years the political left built up their power using woke taboos as a basis for social control. People don’t forget. Even when Dems tried to go more centrist towards the end of the election cycle the public wasn’t buying it.
The last straw was undoubtedly the targeting of children with trans propaganda. Voters will only tolerate drag queen story hour, sexualized dances in front of kids (or involving kids), men in women’s bathrooms or tampons in boys bathrooms for so long. The public finally snapped and sent leftists a clear message: Your ideology is cancer and we’re cutting it out.
For a long time progressives have denied that “Get Woke, Go Broke” is a reality. Now it’s undeniable. Kamala Harris, the ultimate DEI candidate who once argued that all of America needs to “go more woke” has been rejected by the masses.
The Fall Of The Mainstream Media
If it wasn’t obvious before it’s clear now; the mainstream media is done. Their viewership is dwindling to nothing. Certain outlets (like MSNBC) are about to be parceled out in a fire sale. Only a tiny percentage of the population watches or listens to corporate journalists anymore. They’re about to be jobless.
The era of the Fourth Estate is over and the alternative media has won. The political left clings to the false legitimacy of the academic elite, the end of the establishment controlled media leaves them in a whirlwind of doubt. The “experts” have been exposed as impotent but the left refuses to move on with the rest of Americans. Their beloved gatekeepers have been crushed.
Brainwashing And Irrational Fears Of “Fascism”
For the past four years Democrats have been drowning in a sea of anti-conservative propaganda telling them that anyone who disagrees with them is a fascist, an insurrectionist and an enemy of democracy. The corporate media has been conjuring endless images of Nazi marches, genocidal purges and book burnings. Even though Trump was already President for four years and none of these things happened under his direction, leftists are convinced that he intends to resurrect the Third Reich in his final term.
Nationalism by itself is not a precursor to fascism and the system has nothing to do with conservative principles. In fact, fascism is a creation of the far-left. Both Hitler and Mussolini held up Karl Marx as the inspiration for the development of National Socialism. Hitler’s efforts to expand control over the means of production was rooted in Marxist ideology and most industries were run behind the scenes by the fascist leadership. They also instituted price controls, wage controls and inflated the money supply to expand their power, just as Marxists do.
Leftists have spent decades trying to plant the association of conservatives as fascists into the collective consciousness, but as Adolph Hitler noted in 1934:
“National Socialism derives from each of the two camps the pure idea that characterizes it, national resolution from bourgeois tradition; vital, creative socialism from the teaching of Marxism.”
Socialists and communists go to war with each other all the time. Leftists turn on each other all the time. It’s not surprising that they turned against each other during WWII, and it’s not surprising that leftists today have no understanding that they have more in common with Nazis than conservatives do. The defeat of the progressives in 2024 is forcing them to question if they’re on the right side of history. Some of them are starting to wonder if they might be the baddies, and that revelation is devastating.

It’s also possible that the industrial shredder being ordered is for metal and plastic waste; the term “industrial shredder” can mean large paper shredders or actual heavy equipment. But it’s telling that if you told your average American that the Department of Defense ordered an industrial shredder to destroy documents immediately after learning that Donald Trump had won the 2024 election, nobody would be surprised.
]]>Two counties in particular, Dane and Winnebago, saw oddly improved Democratic vote counts at numerous points during the count. Every time the GOP started to pull ahead in the race, the Democrat vote spikes became observably more “extreme” to offset it.
Also, in Milwaukee at 3:31am, there was a single count update of 109,000 votes, 83 percent of which favored Democrats. That vote count dump ultimately flipped the outcome of the race from Hovde to Baldwin.

Rigging the vote to “win”
As you can see from the above chart, the red and blue spikes from the 3:31am vote count dump looks oddly similar to the one that was widely published after the contentious 2020 election, which was similarly rigged to favor certain candidates.
There were no other areas in Wisconsin where any similar types of vote count dumps occurred that resulted in the race being flipped. Clearly something is amiss.
“While each property has innocent explanations, the combination is highly unlikely,” Shylock Holmes says.
“Only 8 updates are as extreme on the first 5 traits (including the Milwaukee President race). The Milwaukee Senate is the only update out of 46,489 that also flipped the outcome of the race.”
To clarify this point further, imagine flipping a coin 24 times and getting heads 22 of those 24 times. Also imagine along with that having the coin flip to heads 14 times in a row. This is how the vote count for the Wisconsin Senate race went in Milwaukee on Election Day.
Even with the vote count dump, the GOP ended up pulling ahead in the national race, at least, bringing a victory for Donald Trump in the traditionally “blue” state. For Hovde, though, his seat will now be held by Baldwin due to the fiasco.

“I want to know what it will take for the Republican Party to purchase ballot images, cast vote records, absentee records, and voter registration lists in Wisconsin,” wrote commenter “Dave” from Dave’s Substack, suggesting an idea as to how this all might be remedied with proactive efforts such as these.
“There are ways to do a deeper investigation into an anomaly like this, but it requires resources. People like you and me don’t have those resources, but the Republican Party does.”

The pollsters report, “75% of registered voters — including 53% of Harris voters and 97% of Trump voters — say they accept that Trump is the legitimate president.”
That is chilling.
How is someone supposed to run the country if there are tens of millions of people that do not consider your presidency to be legitimate?
This is going to be a major problem.
Another survey has found that 54 percent of Harris voters would like to move out of the country, but only 10 percent “definitely” or “probably” will…
Of Harris voters, 5% say they will definitely relocate and 5% say they probably will. Another 44% would like to move but probably (27%) or definitely (17%) won’t. Of those who would like to move but are unlikely to, personal finances, family, and community ties are what will keep them in place.
Of those pondering or planning a move, 90% are considering moving to another country and 80% to another state. The top countries respondents are considering moving to are Canada (41%), the United Kingdom (19%), and Mexico (16%). Top states respondents are considering moving to are California (14%), New York (8%), and Colorado (8%).
Even if just 10 percent of Harris voters end up moving out of the United States, that would still be an absolutely enormous exodus.
According to that same survey, abortion is the number one issue that is motivating people to consider relocating…
The top issues driving respondents’ reasons for wanting to relocate include concerns over a potential federal ban on abortion (61%), increased racial inequality (55%), and the possibility that progressive rights may be overturned (54%).
Additionally, respondents are worried about a reduction in healthcare access (54%) and increased social inequality (53%). A lack of gun regulation (50%), environmental deregulation (43%), and the weakening of public education (44%) are also major concerns.

Abortion was on the ballot in 10 states. In 8 of those states, a majority of voters backed the pro-abortion position, in 1 state (South Dakota) a majority of voters rejected the pro-abortion position, and in 1 state (Nebraska) it is still too close to call.
In the red states of Missouri, Montana, Arizona and Nevada, voters overwhelmingly established a “right” to abortion.
Of course this just continues a nationwide trend that we have seen since Roe v. Wade was overturned. When abortion is on the ballot, pro-life forces have lost almost every single time.

Land Of ILLUSION
Though one could argue that the Trump campaign also highlighted their celebrity endorsements (or that Trump’s TV stardom years ago is an example of celebrity power), the difference is that actors and pop stars were central to Kamala’s presidential run while they were a side note for Trump. He didn’t need Hollywood to rally for him.
There is an assumption by media pundits that movie star endorsements are somehow organic; but actors and singers can be bought. Rumors abound that both Biden and Harris were paying big money to social media influencers in the early days of the election cycle and it’s a fair bet that they were doing the same thing with celebrity mascots.
How much Harris campaign money was flowing into the pockets of these people? Recent reports indicate that the Biden/Harris camp generated double the amount of donations that Trump received, yet she spent so much bread her campaign is now allegedly $20 million in debt. If this is true then it highlights the incredible expense involved in creating fake joy, as well as the pointlessness of the Hollywood cult.
In other words, they can’t buy hype anymore.
Cash might have been a big motivator for celebrities to jump on the Kamala bandwagon, but there’s also the issue of impending investigations into Hollywood’s degeneracy and pedophilia. With Trump in office there will be increasing public demands for the release of the Esptein client lists as well as the exposure of the alleged Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs tapes. Trump is likely to oblige.
Finally, the residents of Tinsel Town are notorious for living within a bubble of ideological delusion. It’s true that decades ago celebrities had far more influence on the opinions of the general public, and perhaps they think they’re still living in that “golden” era. It’s simply not the case, as the latest election proves. The realization is hitting them like a ton of bricks.

Lake allegedly lost by 45,000 votes, or 1.5%. While there can definitely be variations between a Senate and Presidential candidate, Lake and Trump are practically in lockstep on nearly every issue. It’s extremely unlikely that a quarter million Arizonans voted for Trump AND Gallego on the same ballot.

Then, there’s the strange ballot drops magically appeared after the deadline. In any state that runs fair elections, this would ring alarm bells. Unfortunately, Arizona is notorious as one of the most corrupt states when it comes to election integrity.

Election officials in Arizona are once again changing the ballot totals as the US Senate Seat has yet to be called.
President Trump won the state 52.7% to 46.4% over Kamala Harris.
But the officials in Arizona want you to believe that a majority of Arizona voters voted for Trump, and then a majority voted for the open borders communist Ruben Gallego, the son of a cartel attorney.
The Kari Lake campaign fired off a letter on Friday to Pima County officials after they were caught changing the ballot totals this week!
Then, there’s the election official in Maricopa County, the state’s largest, who declared that he wants to “make life hell” for Kari Lake. He happens to be in charge of county the ballots.
According to the Daily Mail, Stephen Richer’s animus toward Lake was revealed in the transcript of a June 21 deposition in which he was asked about a communication with a friend.
“And your response if kind of a laundry list here of bullet points: Get out of politics permanently; get out of politics temporarily; run for reelection as a Republican; run for reelection as an independent; run for mayor if no Kate; and then finally run for U.S. Sen, just to fly the flag for real conservatism and make life hell for Kari,” the lawyer questioning Richer said. “Did I read that correctly?”
“Yes,” Richer replied.
“Why would you want to make life hell for Kari Lake in March of 2023?” Richer was asked.
“I don’t remember,” Richer said. “I don’t think she’s a real conservative.”
Skeptics may question why Trump was allowed to win but not Lake. With Arizona’s notoriously late ballot counting status, the presidency had already been secured by Trump before half the ballots were counted in Arizona. It made no sense to risk national attention by having questionable vote counts hit that race.
Lake is insanely popular in Arizona with support that is very similar to Trump’s. For her to lose when Trump won the state by a good margin is unfathomable. But it’s Arizona, and in Arizona elections are swayed by those who count the votes. Unfortunately for Lake, the people counting the votes hate her.

Democrats view media as marketing. That’s why they get so angry when any left-wing media doesn’t agree with them 100%. And they got used to mainstream media, like Morning Joe and The View, being pure propaganda for them. So, they’ve developed a very unhealthy entitlement complex.
There’s a lot @joerogan doesn’t agree with Trump on, but Trump didn’t give a shit. He took the win. Democrats think it’s unacceptable unless the host agrees ahead of time to give them everything. They’ll take nothing instead. Ok, well that’s what you wound up with – nothing.
It fundamentally misunderstands the current media dynamics. You’re not getting it – we don’t need you, you need us. How many elections are the Democrats going to lose before they figure this out?
To be fair, it’s mostly corporate media’s fault they’re treated this way by Democrats. They bowed before Barack Obama and then never stood back up to face future Democrats. They got so used to kissing his butt that they started kissing whatever blue butt was in front of their faces.
It’s a crude visually, but it’s accurate.

Granted, the far left has been willing to ignore those interests as they pertain to the media because it has benefitted their side for so long, but that doesn’t mean they don’t recognize the hypocrisy. The funny (or sad, depending upon your perspective) part about all of this is that corporate media would be MORE effective at promoting their UniParty Swamp puppet masters if they pushed back against them sometimes. There’s a reason why 𝕏 as a platform and podcasting as a medium are viewed more favorably than corporate media and left-aligned Big Tech.
It’s not because there are no Democrats on 𝕏; there are actually more Democrats than Republicans there.
It’s not because there are no leftist podcasts; some of the most powerful podcasters, including Rogan, are or were Democrats.
The reason corporate media has sunk so low on the trust scale is because they’ve become agenda-driven instead of truth-driven. That has always been the case to some extent, but over the last eight years it has become so commonplace that members of corporate media are no longer trying to hide their biases. They hate Trump and they’re willing to admit it. They hate Trump’s supporters and they no longer disguise their disdain.
The big concern for conservatives shouldn’t be media continuing on their unhinged, leftist path. The longer they do it, the less they’ll be trusted. The real concern for conservatives is if corporate media wakes up and starts reporting facts instead of narratives. of course, that would take a complete overhaul and it’s unlikely any of them have the stomach for that.

(DCNF)—Historian Allan Lichtman on Thursday largely blamed “disinformation” and bigotry for his wrong prediction that Vice President Kamala Harris would defeat President-elect Donald Trump in Tuesday’s elections.
Lichtman accurately forecast nine of the 10 last elections before wrongly predicting Harris would be victorious, according to USA Today. The historian, on his YouTube channel, argued that voters were not “rational” or “pragmatic” due to what he characterized as a massive uptick in “disinformation” and Trump’s promotion of “xenophobia,” “misogyny” and “racism.”

“I think two things this year, and maybe going forward, broke this premise of a rational, pragmatic electorate, and these are trends that are not new but have exploded this year beyond anything we’ve ever seen before. First is disinformation,” Lichtman said. “Always had disinformation, but we’ve never had anything remotely on this scale, where billionaires — I don’t know how much Elon Musk is worth, I’m sure more than a hundred billion dollars — who control critical sources of information for the electorate. I mean, Elon Musk owns X, and I’ve seen reports that his disinformation that he’s put out, has been viewed by two billion viewers, vastly more influential than New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, CBS.”
The historian also alleged that Musk is not the only billionaire disseminating “disinformation.” He asserted that “the incredible explosion of disinformation” has led to Americans believing falsehoods about the state of the American economy, “mak[ing] it very difficult for a rational, pragmatic electorate to operate.”
“Then add to that that we’ve seen Trump and his allies exploit, far more than ever before — even 2016 and 2020 — trends that run deep into American history and still resonate at this time: xenophobia, fear of foreign influences … We have never seen, in recent history, xenophobia to this level, and it digs deep into a trend in American history. It’s not something brand new, and it’s not just white people, you know?” Lichtman said. “People of all races and ethnicities can be subject to xenophobia.”
“And finally, there’s racism, one of the deepest, most pervasive trends in American history,” he added. “And we have seen, just as Trump and his allies have brought misogyny and xenophobia to a new level, he’s also brought blatant racism to a new level … So we see then the explosion of disinformation and these three dark trends from American history, and that calls into question the whole premise behind the keys of rationality and pragmatism.”
Lichtman earlier in his video also said the Democratic Party publicly attacking President Joe Biden when he was still running for reelection could have contributed to his wrong prediction.
Radio host Charlamagne Tha God and CNN’s Van Jones both recently argued against exclusively blaming the election results on “racism” and “sexism.”

]]>(DCNF)—Podcast host Joe Rogan and comedian Dave Smith discussed Thursday how corporate media and the polls leading up to Election Day dismissed every sign on how President-elect Donald Trump was winning.
In the last few months of the election cycle, corporate media and Vice President Harris’ campaign upped their rhetoric against Trump, with President Joe Biden calling him to be “locked up” and Vice President Kamala Harris calling him a fascist. On “The Joe Rogan Experience,” the podcast host began by calling out how Republican turnout for the former president was “too big to rig,” before Smith jumped in to compare the race to former President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign.
“So, turns out, voting works. It’s real. As much as we fucking thought they had it rigged, as much as we thought there was shenanigans and bullshit and it’s just a puppet show and there’s no way anybody could buck this system, turns out, voting is still real,” Rogan said. “And clearly he was too big to rig.”
Polls in October between Trump and Harris continued to show a dead heat between the two candidates, with The New York Times/Siena College final poll showing there was just one-point separating the two. Smith went on to note that despite polls and political pundits claiming it was a tight race, Trump won both the popular vote and the Electoral College.
“And it was like that with Trump where it’s like, all the signs are that he’s clearly running away with this. But then every single poll told you, ‘No, this is the closest election of your lifetime,’” Smith continued. “And then it was just, there was a very interesting feeling to see it and be like, ‘Oh, okay, I’m not crazy. I was observing all the things I was observing.’”
Rogan also added how the media gaslit voters, comparing Trump to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler and other authoritarian regimes. In late October, Trump’s longest-serving chief of staff, John Kelly, told The New York Times and The Atlantic that Trump “met the definition of a fascist” and reportedly admired figures like Hitler, leading the way for corporate media to continue their rhetoric and pushing Harris to echo the sentiments at her town hall event with CNN.

“The media gaslit us to the absolute limits of their ability. The absolute limits. Joy Reid spent the entire time she was discussing Trump the other day, comparing him to Mussolini, Stalin, Hitler, talking about a right-wing authoritarian regime, as if he had never been president for four years and didn’t behave like any of those things,” Rogan responded.
“As if the economy wasn’t booming, as if people weren’t making more money, as if we weren’t involved in any new conflicts overseas, no new wars. I could point to a lot of things Trump did in his four years that I think were bad, but they were things that were similar to Obama and Bush. I bet he could point to them too,” Rogan said.
Smith responded by stating that the corporate media and Democratic Party was only hurting themselves by relying on “lies,” calling out how they attempted to keep their control of the White House throughout the campaign cycle.
“Look, there’s obviously a huge series of these things where the Democrat establishment and the corporate media, but I repeat myself, it’s death by a thousand self-inflicted wounds. But it is almost as if— It’s like their whole thing relies on lies. It’s just all lies,” Smith said. “They have their eyes shut and their fingers in their ears, and they’re going, no, no, no, no, no, no. Nope. We’re just pretending reality is the thing we want it to be.”
“They don’t want to get slowed down by this force that is objective reality,” Smith added. “And so all of it, whether it’s Joe Biden’s sharpest attack, Kamala Harris’s joy, Donald Trump is Hitler, Tony Hinchcliffe was a man at an event who made some comments.”
Prior to Biden dropping out of the race, Republicans had highlighted to Democrats and corporate media how Biden’s mental fitness appeared to be deteriorating. However, Democrat lawmakers pushed back against the callouts until his debate against the former president in June when many began to question if Biden could handle another four years in office.
