Food Storage – American Conservative Movement https://americanconservativemovement.com American exceptionalism isn't dead. It just needs to be embraced. In Montana we didn’t pay much heed to the lockdowns after the first month.  In three months everything was basically back to normal except for the mask mandates which most people ignored.  With more data available on the virus it was clear that the chance of death was being greatly exaggerated.  What scared us far more was the rampant talk of vaccine passports in 2021.  The proposed state and federal restrictions on people that refused to take the jab were familiar – This was the beginning of full blown tyranny unless we stood firm.

In the meantime there was a public rush to buy up as many necessities as they could afford.  And of course, the covid stimulus measures finally triggered a stagflationary crisis that had been building in the US for many years.

In the face of so many potential threats, preppers were still well protected.  If vaccine passports became the norm and access to public places was blocked then we had food storage to get us through for a long time to come.  If the buying panic and inflation led to a supply chain disaster then we were well placed, along with the guns and ammo and training needed to keep what we had.  If a fight was coming then we had the means to defend ourselves.

I have long been convinced that it was the prepper factor that caused the government to rethink their strategy of perpetual medical lockdowns and give up on vaccine passports.  We represent an unknown element, something they can’t predict, a possible monkeywrench in the gears of the machine.

With our own supplies we are not dependent on the system to keep us alive, and the harder they push the more we are compelled to organize into an even greater obstacle.  Just as NATO sanctions have pushed Russia, China and the BRICS closer together, openly authoritarian policies in the west during covid pushed liberty movement people together.  The establishment backed away because they had to.

This is why I have to laugh whenever I see some idiot online say:  “What’s the point of prepping when nothing ever happens?”

Have these people been living under a rock since 2020?  We just dodged one of the biggest Orwellian bullets in our nation’s history with the defeat of the pandemic mandates.  Or, do they not realize that the pandemic was just the beginning?

If that’s the case then it pains me to remind everyone that nothing has fundamentally changed.  Yes, we beat back the mandates but all the same elites are still in power, all the same globalist institutions that exploited covid to create a panic still exist, and the event has acted as a domino in a chain leading to other calamities.  Here’s just a few reasons why you’re going to be needing your survival preps in the next few years…

The Stagflation Crisis That Wouldn’t Die

The stagflationary problem is persistent despite all the media claims that it’s under control.  Readers familiar with my economic analysis know that I predicted stagflation several years ago as the inevitable outcome of the Federal Reserve’s quantitative easing and near-zero interest rates.  I also predicted the Catch-22 problem of rate hikes vs inflation and debt.  And when I said a couple years ago that the Fed wasn’t going to return to rate cuts for some time, I was right about that too.

Given this track record, trust me when I say that stagflation is here to stay.  Any move to cut rates will automatically trigger an even worse resurgence of inflation and the fed will be forced to hike once again.  And, high interest rates will continue to create a national debt crisis as debt payments skyrocket.

In other words, the economic situation is getting exponentially worse with each passing year.  There is already breakage in the system, but that’s nothing compared to what we face in the next five years.  Any preparedness items you buy today should be considered an investment in the future because all of those items will be far more expensive or harder to find.

Political Riots Are Assured

Recent campus protests have reminded people that they shouldn’t get too comfortable with the fizzle of BLM.  The same leftists that rode the wave of racial division back in 2020 are going out and finding new causes to co-opt.  They’re looking for any excuse to riot, even if it has nothing to do with them personally.

With the 2024 election incoming I have no doubt that civil unrest will be the norm once again no matter who ends up in the White House.  With riots follow the threat of looting, property destruction, political violence and even martial law.  Then there is the public reaction to those circumstances, including the possibility of civil war.  Don’t assume the country will calm down after the election.  In fact, assume the opposite.

The War In Ukraine Is About To Become A World War

Again, I have mentioned in multiple articles the danger of western involvement in the war in Ukraine including the danger of a wider world war should NATO directly enter the fray.  As I write this, France is pressing for “military advisers” to go to Ukraine to train recruits, which is exactly what the US did in Vietnam right before we officially went to war.

Multiple NATO countries also want to give Ukraine the green light to use long range NATO missiles against targets deep in Russia.  If you are an avid student of history you know as I do that this only goes one way.

That’s probably why countries in Europe are suddenly talking about draft procedures and forced conscription laws in order to shore up their ranks. How many people will actually submit to a draft?  I don’t know, but I do know this is not the kind of talk that governments engage in when their goal is diplomacy.  It’s the kind of talk they engage in when they’re getting ready to antagonize the enemy.

A larger war with Russia comes with a host of difficulties that would take me too many pages to cover here.  To summarize, war with Russia means war with China, war with Iran and most of the Middle East, tragic supply chain disruptions, the end of the dollar’s world reserve status and a good chance of a limited or regional nuclear exchange.

I have serious doubts that global nuclear war is on the table because the establishment has nothing to gain and everything to lose from it.  However, a war between East and West is more than enough to cause absolute havoc in every nation on the planet.

The War Over Gaza Is Quickly Leading To A War For The Middle East

I’m not going to cheerlead for either side in this conflict.  My concern is America and Americans.  That said, it’s clear that actions on both sides are forcing the war to expand well beyond Gaza.  Recent Israeli strikes on Syria and scuffles with Egyptian troops are concerning.  Lebanon is highly involved and Iran has already traded missiles with Israel.  Israel has stated their offensive will continue through at least the end of 2024.

In terms of how this all affects the US or Europe, the immediate consequence will be a shut down of oil traffic through the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea.  That’s 30% or more of the world’s oil trade slowed down or eliminated.  Energy prices will explode along with prices on everything else.  The price of everything you buy is affected by the price of oil.

Agriculture, for example, relies heavily on fuel and oil based fertilizers.  This means high oil prices will trigger high food prices.

Prepping Isn’t A Hobby, It’s A Duty

Frankly, preparedness should be a social mainstay – An integral part of American life. It’s not a hobby, it’s a duty.   The more prepared people are the safer every American will be.  Most prepared people don’t panic because there’s no need.  And people who don’t panic are less likely to harm others out of fear and desperation.

Think of food storage like a big battery.  A battery is energy storage for later when you need it.  Think about how much time and work and energy goes into growing just one month of food for your family. Isn’t it far better to store all that work in long term foods so that you don’t have to worry about it later during the worst of conditions?  Every bucket of stored food is a battery that saves you precious time and labor.

Growing food and living sustainably is great in peacetime or in the middle of a large, well organized community.  Growing food at the onset of a national crisis in a place where too many people are unprepared is almost impossible.  If a breakdown occurs then your best bet is to hunker down, work with family, friends and neighbors, and live on your preps until there is a large enough community in place to securely grow food again.

There are too many variables right now around the world that can cause catastrophe, and even events on the other side of the globe can cause problems for you at home.  I see very little chance of the situation improving in the next five years and a very high chance of things spiraling out of control.  Take your prepping seriously, even when oblivious naysayers claim “nothing’s going to happen.”  Those will be the same people crying for help before long and you don’t want to share their fate.

Store Food While You Still Can, Because 2.4 Billion People Already Do Not Have Enough Food as This New Global Famine Accelerates https://americanconservativemovement.com/store-food-while-you-still-can-because-2-4-billion-people-already-do-not-have-enough-food-as-this-new-global-famine-accelerates/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/store-food-while-you-still-can-because-2-4-billion-people-already-do-not-have-enough-food-as-this-new-global-famine-accelerates/#comments Mon, 17 Jul 2023 00:54:50 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=194855 Global food supplies just keep getting even tighter, and global hunger has risen to extremely alarming levels.  People on the other side of the world are literally starving to death as I write this article, but most of us in the western world simply do not care about the millions that are deeply suffering because the mainstream media hardly ever talks about what is happening.  But the truth is that we are feeling the impact of this global food crisis too.

As I warned my readers repeatedly, the primary way that this crisis would manifest itself in wealthy countries during the early stages would be through higher food prices, and that is precisely what we are witnessing. On Friday, I went to the grocery store and a small bag of chips that I could once buy on sale for 99 cents now has a regular price of 5.99 stamped on it.

Throughout the store there were so many products that I refused to purchase because I thought that they had simply become way too expensive, but those prices are not going back down to where they once were.  Food inflation is here to stay, and the entire planet is going to suffer as a result.

Unfortunately, most people simply cannot comprehend what is taking place on a planetary scale.

As a major British news source recently noted, we are facing “environmental breakdown and food system failure” simultaneously…

We face an epochal, unthinkable prospect: of perhaps the two greatest existential threats – environmental breakdown and food system failure – converging, as one triggers the other.

A decade ago, some experts were optimistically talking about eradicating global hunger completely.

But the number of hungry people around the world started to go back up in 2015, and things have been getting worse ever since

For many years, the number of hungry people fell. But in 2015 the trend turned and has been curving upwards since.

According to the United Nations, nearly 30 percent of the global population does not have constant access to food right now, and there are approximately 900 million people that are facing “severe food insecurity”

The food security and nutrition situation remained grim in 2022. The report finds that approximately 29.6 percent of the global population, equivalent to 2.4 billion people, did not have constant access to food, as measured by the prevalence of moderate or severe food insecurity. Among them, around 900 million individuals faced severe food insecurity.

Just think about that for a moment. 2.4 billion people do not have enough food to eat.

And as global food supplies get even tighter, that number is only going to go higher.

Unfortunately, in 2023 we have seen crops get devastated by natural disasters and bizarre weather patterns over and over again.

For example, in areas of Vermont that have been hammered by flooding this month many farmers have completely lost all of their crops

Farmers across our region are grappling with massive crop losses due to this week’s flooding. That includes dozens of farm operations at Burlington’s Intervale, who are picking up the pieces as they face a difficult road ahead.

“For us. it is kind of over until we can replant,” said Hillary Martin with Diggers’ Mirth Collective Farm. She says the flooding was a total crop loss for everyone at the Intervale and that her farm has already lost hundreds of thousands of dollars. “We have just totaled what we lost that was in the field — about $250,000 in produce. That does not include what we can not plant for the next month.”

Vermont Agriculture Secretary Anson Tebbetts says many farmers are in the same situation statewide. “It will run millions of dollars. It will be extraordinary because of just the crop losses,” he said.

In the middle of the country, a crippling drought is absolutely devastating corn and soybean farmers

Record-breaking heat and pockets of drought are baking farmland across the country, threatening crop yields and squeezing out any remaining wiggle room to cope with more extreme weather this summer.

Throughout the Sun Belt, an extended heat wave is sending temperatures soaring into the triple digits and risking heat stress to crops. At the same time, breadbasket states in the Midwest are struggling to manage a drought that’s affecting some areas for a second year in a row. Nearly two-thirds of Kansas is in severe, extreme or exceptional drought, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor, and about half of Missouri and Nebraska are in the same rough shape.

Of course it isn’t just the U.S. that is being hit extremely hard.

As I explained last week, tomato prices in India have gone up by 400 percent due to the historic disasters that nation has been dealing with.

In central Canada, one farmer hasn’t had a good crop since 2016 due to the seemingly endless drought that has plagued Saskatchewan…

Seven is often considered a lucky number but not for Tyson Jacksteit.

That’s how many consecutive years of drought his family has now gone through on their west-central Saskatchewan farm near Golden Prairie.

The last good crop was in 2016, he said, with the rain from that year carrying them through the next. But since then it’s just been “a downhill slide of drought.”

“We’re in survival mode,” he said last week.

Unfortunately, conditions are only going to get more difficult for farmers around the globe in the years ahead.

So I would encourage you to stock up while you still can.

I know that prices may seem high now, but they are only going higher.

For instance, canned peaches are already quite expensive, but soon they will cost a whole lot more because “the Peach State” is barely going to produce any peaches at all in 2023…

Midsummer is the peak of juicy peach season in the state of Georgia. But, recently, the Peach Cobbler Factory in Atlanta ran out of peaches and was forced to pivot to… apple cobbler.

The Peach State lost more than 90% of this year’s crop after a February heat wave followed by two late-spring frosts. The triple-whammy destroyed peach varieties specifically bred to survive different weather scenarios and wildly inflated prices of the fruit. It also moved much of the local market — in some cases, quite unwillingly — to California peaches.

But, beyond the toll this took on employment, the state economy, decades of tradition and restaurant menus, peaches are a matter of pride for Georgians. The peach is the state fruit. Its in the name of dozens of state roads. It’s even on the flip side of the Georgia state quarter. So, how embarrassing is this?

In previous articles I have discussed many other examples.

All over the world, food producers are facing unprecedented challenges.

You can believe that things will eventually “return to normal” if you want, but the truth is that a “return to normal” is simply not in the cards.

We really have reached a major tipping point, and from this moment forward we really are going to see things happen that once would have been unimaginable.

Are Governments and Globalist Elites Stealing Food to Store Away for Themselves? https://americanconservativemovement.com/us-first-most-of-the-food-recalls-during-the-pandemic-are-actually-foods-being-diverted-to-government-storage-bunkers-for-the-rich-and-elite/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/us-first-most-of-the-food-recalls-during-the-pandemic-are-actually-foods-being-diverted-to-government-storage-bunkers-for-the-rich-and-elite/#respond Thu, 18 Aug 2022 15:36:23 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=178666 There was a time not too long ago when a speculative article like the one below would be a bit too far for me to publish. Things have changed. Do we really think the government and/or the globalist elites would NOT use any means necessary to take care of themselves and their cronies? The massive influx of “coincidences” are being largely ignored by not just corporate media but even most in “conservative” media.

Over the last few months, I’ve been accused several times of making my sites too “fringe.” Before the Plandemic and the stolen election, we were building a purely America First news outlet for political commentary. Our traffic numbers were rising very quickly, peaking in March, 2020, with over 12 million views between the various sites. But as it became crystal clear that there was far more to the story than just voting out RINOs and Democrats, I transitioned to add more speculative articles. This has not been beneficial for us financially since it got us blacklisted on all of the Big Tech platforms, but I refuse to let money get in the way of the truth.

I bring all of that up because we are facing multiple conspiracies that are being used to usher in The Great Reset. It isn’t just a handful of leaders controlled by the World Economic Forum or the little-covered Council for Inclusive Capitalism. The elites “in the know” are doing whatever they can to not only prepare themselves but also to force the masses into a state of complete dependency.

That’s the part that S.D. Wells missed in his article below. Yes, the globalist elites want to be ready so they can thrive when the rest of the world suffers in the near future. But considering the massive amounts of food they’re accumulating, far more than what would be necessary for them to use within their small groups, it’s crystal clear that they anticipate a future in which food is used to control the masses. They will make us compliant to their draconian demands if we want to get our block of cheese from their breadlines. And while they’re eating the steaks they’re hording, they’ll expect us to get our protein from crickets.

This is all just another reason that we are so adamant about American building up their personal long-term storage food supplies. We have three sponsors who help with that. Please check them out. Here’s S.D. Wells…

US FIRST: Most of the Food “Recalls” During the Pandemic Are Actually Foods Being Diverted to Government Storage Bunkers for the Rich and “Elite”

The “uber-rich” of the world have an “escape plan” in place for the upcoming food shortage apocalypse, and they aren’t even spending their own money to prepare. Most of the food “recalls” for salmonella, e-coli, and “metal shavings” found in products is actually just a way to divert storable foods to the freezers and basement pantries of the rich and elite, who are all planning well for the food shortage apocalypse.

Even Bloomberg News has reported that many of the world’s elite, including US government officials, are securing underground bunkers for riding out a new world war, another pandemic, or a nuclear holocaust.

The latest food recall to fit this bill was the frozen pizza recalled by Home Run Inn Frozen Foods, saying they found over 13,000 pounds of frozen meat pizza product “contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal.” And guess who’s getting ready for the next scamdemic right now? Yes, that’s right, Bill and Melinda Gates can’t fill their bunkers quick enough with frozen foods and clean water for the next plandemic. How many more food recalls are fake?

No reports of injuries or adverse reactions due to consumers swallowing metal shavings in pizza, maybe because it’s a hoax to reroute foods

There have been no confirmed reports of injuries or adverse reactions due to the consumption of the Home Run Inn Frozen Foods pizzas that allegedly contained metal fragments. Maybe none of them got eaten and they’re all just fine, stocked up in bunker freezers for the elite to eat during the upcoming Plandemic II. Worried about Monkey Pox? Stock up your freezer now. Worried about Omicron variant of Wuhan bat-jumping Flu? Stock up on those “recalled” frozen pizzas.

Have you got your doomsday bunker prepared yet? What are you waiting for, the day there are zero supplies to do it? Foods that are being “recalled” and disappearing from the supply chain are being rerouted to elitist bunkers around the world, as you read this. The uber-rich are planning ahead, buying food, water filters, weapons, ammo, alternative power supplies, SAT phones and more.

Water Wars erupting across the world right now, as the elitists plan ahead

If you don’t think that the supply chain erosion, mass inflation and food shortages aren’t also planned, then you are naïve. Take a close look at how everything is falling apart, and why, and you will see that it’s all carefully manipulated so. The elitists that are in charge of government, Big Ag and Big Pharma are creating shortages in every arena, including food, clean water, fertilizer, fuel, money and natural medicine.

It’s not just the Water Wars that have begun, but food wars and weapon wars too. Most of the money and weapons going to Ukraine have been diverted, stolen, re-routed to elitists and smugglers. The Biden administration coordinates all this corruption.

When the lakes dry up and the rivers run dry, you can bet your last block of gold that the elitist bunkers will be heavily stocked with clean, potable water for the apocalypse. Have no doubt.

The pandemic (plandemic) was just a taste of what’s to come. Remember the toilet paper shortage? Remember the gasoline shortage and those lines?

Get ready for mile-long lines at the grocery stores that only last a couple of days, until those shelves are all bare. Then what? The trucks will stop delivering when there’s no fuel available, and if the internet goes down, so will everyone’s access to their money.

Tune your food news frequency to FoodSupply.news and get updates on more toxic foods and food shortages coming to stores near you.
