America is not a “melting pot.” It never has been a melting pot. This phrase is used by leftists and open borders activists to suggest that there is no American culture; that we are nothing more than an economic buffet for far flung tribes to feast upon.

America is its own very separate and very distinct culture with comprehensive tradition, principles and ideals. If foreigners want to come here they have to play by our rules, learn our language, assimilate into our culture and respect our heritage or they can go back to whatever cesspool country they are running away from. It’s that simple.

America started out with this vision because much of the world at the time of the Revolution was mired in empire, oligarchy and in some cases barbarism. Americans separated themselves from that world because it was hostile to the common man’s freedom and prosperity. The revolution was not just a war to secede from the British Empire, it was a means to stay isolated from the entanglements of foreign deviants.

Whether or not that plan was ever successful is up for debate, but the intent was real and consistently stated by the founders. As George Washington noted in his farewell address in 1796:

“Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence (I conjure you to believe me, fellow-citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake, since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of republican government…”

This sentiment can and does extend to mass immigration.  George Washington, in a letter to John Adams, stated that immigrants should be integrated into American life so that:

“…By an intermixture with our people, they, or their descendants, get assimilated to our customs, measures, laws: in a word soon become one people.”

Though they supported the idea of immigrants making a new life in the US, they asserted that restriction and requirements be met. Also, at that time the majority of immigrants were from Europe, were familiar with western customs and the vast majority were Christian. Open borders was NEVER a promise of American society. Thomas Jefferson warned against the effects of uncontrolled immigration and predicted quite clearly the crisis we are facing today.  He stated:

“Every species of government has its specific principles. Ours…is a composition of the freest principles of the English constitution, with others derived from natural rights and natural reason. To these nothing can be more opposed than the maxims of absolute monarchies. Yet, from such, we are to expect the greatest number of emigrants.

They will bring with them the principles of government they leave, imbibed in their early youth; or if able to throw them off, it will be in exchange for an unbounded licentiousness, passing, as is usual, from one extreme to another. It would be a miracle were they to stop precisely at the point of temperate liberty.

These principles, with their language, they will transmit to their children. In proportion to their numbers, they will share with us the legislation. They will infuse into it their spirit, warp and bias its direction, and tender it a heterogeneous, incoherent, distracted mass.”

In other words, Jefferson knew that migrants indoctrinated into mindless peasantry and conflicting ideologies would have no concept of individual liberty. They would one day overwhelm American culture and destroy it from within if we allowed them to.

Somewhere along the way the idea of mass immigration became romanticized. The migrations from Europe in the last decades of the 1800s and early 1900s are constantly depicted as a golden era, but again, these were predominantly European immigrants with Christian backgrounds, not third world migrants from completely alien societies.

The period was still rife with problems and was only ultimately accepted because the Civil War had wiped out the military and the working population. It was glorified later by Hollywood as some kind of core symbol of the American identity – The “melting pot” lie was born.

Even if you believe immigration was advantageous over a century ago, that doesn’t mean it is advantageous now. Times change and so must government policies reflect those changes. Clinging to the fantasy of America as a golden isle with enough riches for all is pure stupidity. If the American dream is offered to everyone, it will be achieved by no one.

Americans should have learned this lesson well during the immigration disaster of the early 1980s under the Jimmy Carter Administration. The federal government opened the floodgates to mostly unvetted migrants from Cuba and Haiti. The event, called the Mariel Boatlift, sparked one of the worst escalations of criminal violence in our nation’s history and it led to the deaths of thousands of innocents.  Famously depicted in the 1983 film ‘Scarface’ and the 1984 drama television series ‘Miami Vice’, the crime wave that erupted in the face of the migrant surge was not fictional, it was very real and it made a long lasting impression on American society.

Though some Cubans became staunch anti-communists and integrated well into American society, many were violent convicts kicked out of Cuba by Castro and dumped on American shores along with Haitian gang members and even foreign spies. In Florida where most of the migrants first congregated, murder rates exploded for over a decade.

Racial tensions skyrocketed as black Americans in Miami argued they were being pushed out of the economy and that they were being targeted by Cubans and Haitians.

Keep in mind, the event was composed of only 150,000 migrants. Compare this to the over 500,000 Haitians imported into US communities (along with 800,000 other refugee applicants), not to mention the tens of millions of illegal aliens, mostly from South America, that have entered the country under the Biden Administration.

What is the obvious conclusion? That the third world and the western world are completely incompatible. They cannot be reconciled and very few people from the third world should ever be allowed to settle in the US. There should be a list of countries that we rarely take migrant applications from, and illegal immigration in general should be punished severely as it is in many nations.

Due to open border policies, Americans are suffering under an unprecedented housing crisis as foreign demand drives up rental prices. We have rising crime in sanctuary cities and Democrats refuse to fully track and report that data to the FBI until 2025. We have Venezuelan cartels invading metro areas across the US. And, we have local reports of Haitian migrants eating park animals and people’s pets. The situation isn’t pretty.

These people are NOT our responsibility. If history is any indication, things are going to get a lot worse in the near term unless illegal migrants and Biden’s third world visa recipients are removed from the country.

The immigration policies under Jimmy Carter were an unmitigated disaster and the Biden Administration seems to be following the exact same trajectory. Leftists and globalists argue that it is a part of our national identity to accept and cope with mass immigration. They also argue that American “imperialism” is the direct cause of instability in the world, and thus we must “pay the price” by welcoming the third world into our backyard.

The supposed effects of “American imperialism” are irrelevant. They do not matter and such foreign policy is often initiated by the very same people that now claim the American public must pay the price for foreign entanglements. The elites create the problems and we are required to suffer for them.

Foreigners should be tasked with fixing their own countries just as we Americans are tasked with fixing ours. We owe them nothing. No reparations, no redistribution of wealth, no inclusivity, no American dream. They need to go out and fight for those things on their own.

The solution is clear: All illegal immigrants need to be extricated from US borders and a moratorium on immigration must be put in place (for at least five years) until we sort out the mess that has been created.

The American communities that are being invaded by migrants right now should also have a say. Those native born Americans have built and maintained the towns and cities under siege right now, and no one is asking them how they feel about the cultural replacement agenda on their doorstep.

Make no mistake, illegal migrants will be leaving the US one way or another. There is a peaceful way to do this, and there’s other ways. I have little doubt that conflict will be the most likely outcome. If the current federal policies remain in place the concerns of native born citizens will be ignored and people will snap, at which point they will do what the establishment fears most of all – They will organize. And when Americans organize things will turn interesting very quickly.

Hinojosa denied the unproven reports on MSNBC’s “Ana Cabrera Reports” that Haitian migrants are stealing and eating geese and residents’ pets in Springfield. She argued an owner would point their gun at any migrant who attempted to steal their pet as evidence that the rumors aren’t true.

“I also know Ohio, and Ohio is an open carry state in terms of guns,” Hinojosa said. “And you know how much people love their pets, there is no way that Ohio, where you have guns and people are gonna be allowing these people to walk away with their cats and dogs? You know somebody’s gonna be taking out a gun and saying ‘you’re not taking my dog’ which is why it’s not happening, it’s not true.”

Individuals over the age of 21 in Ohio are permitted to carry a concealed handgun without a license or permit unless they are prohibited from carrying or possessing a firearm.

Hinojosa suggested migrants are being “targeted” due to their race, and argued the Trump campaign will “double down” on these rumors.

Republican nominee Donald Trump stated that illegal Haitian migrants in Springfield are eating dogs and cats during Tuesday night’s debate and at a rally in Arizona on Thursday night. Republican vice presidential candidate and Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance said on Tuesday that his office has received several inquiries from Springfield that allege that migrants have been abducting their pets, though he acknowledged these reports could be false.

The rumors began when Springfield resident Anthony Harris alleged at a local commission meeting in August that Haitian migrants are beheading and eating ducks in the local parks. A viral social media post in the Springfield Facebook group alleged that a dead cat was found being carved up for a meal near a Haitian neighbor’s home.

“I do not know what they have going on over there, but they cannot do that over here,” Harris said. “I do not want to seem like I am coming down on the immigrants, because it is the people that are bringing them down here … They are in the park, grabbing up ducks by their neck and cutting their head off and walking off and eating them.”

Police bodycam footage showed 27-year-old Alexis Telia Ferrell eating a cat in front of her neighbors in Canton, Ohio, sparking rumors that migrants in the state are eating cats and other pets. Authorities arrested her on Aug. 16 for eating the animal “in a residential area in front of multiple people,” according to Fox 12.

Authorities in Springfield evacuated City Hall on Thursday morning and two elementary schools on Friday due to receiving bomb threats in wake of these rumors.

Springfield residents told the Daily Caller News Foundation that while they have not witnessed pets being eaten, the massive influx of migrants in their community has caused a housing crisis and a surge in crime.

Conservative legal advocacy organization America First Legal warned that this Haitian resettlement program is still ongoing, and as it continues, concerns over the social and economic implications of such a significant population influx rise. U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed that the country has experienced a massive influx of Haitian migrants, noting that there have been an estimated 475,004 encounters with Haitian nationals at the border since 2020. Many of these individuals have arrived through a combination of border crossings and the Biden administration’s Humanitarian Parole Program for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans.

Since January 2023, the parole program has granted parole to over 205,000 Haitian nationals, allowing them to fly directly to the U.S. and seek work permits. Upon arrival, many are also granted access to various public services, helping ease their transition into the country. This program aims to streamline migration, offering a legal pathway for thousands of Haitians fleeing the ongoing instability in their homeland.

The migration surge has also resulted in unfortunate incidents, with allegations emerging of crimes perpetrated by some individuals. These incidents include accusations of a Haitian national raping a pregnant woman and another being involved in the murder of an 11-year-old boy on his way to school.

Additionally, another Haitian national has been accused of raping a 15-year-old, while another stands accused of molesting a minor, among other reported crimes. These reports have raised questions about the screening processes in place and the overall management of the growing migrant population.

Biden administration grants asylum to over 300K Haitian migrants

Recently, the Biden administration announced that it was granting temporary protected status (TPS) to approximately 309,000 Haitian migrants who had arrived in the U.S. legally or illegally on or before June 3, claiming that the order that protects them from deportation is necessary to save the lives of Haitians running from organized gang violence.

“We are providing this humanitarian relief to Haitians already present in the United States given the conditions that existed in their home country,” said Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas. “In doing so, we are realizing the core objective of the TPS law and our obligation to fulfill it.”

This comes after several months of intense lobbying by human rights organizations who had been calling on the Biden administration to end the deportation of Haitian migrants over claims that they could end up getting hurt or killed by the gang violence that has broken out in their country.

The shielding of 309,000 Haitians in the U.S. from deportation brings up the total number of Haitians with protected status to roughly 500,000.

Following the assassination of president Jovenel Moïse in 2021, the prime minister and acting president Ariel Henry has failed to control the gang violence wreaking havoc on the capital, Port-au-Prince. With gangs now controlling as much as 80 percent of the city, Henry traveled to Guyana in February to sign a treaty allowing a contingent of 1,000 Kenyan police officers to patrol Port-au-Prince. But after the gangs shut down the airport and released thousands from prison, Henry was forced to announce his resignation from exile — and delay the police force deployment that could help bring order to the capital.

It would be hard to overstate how nightmarish conditions have become in Haiti.

With Haitians awaiting the formation of a Transitional Governing Council that is set to take power before elections are held, gangs looted aid supplies over the weekend.

UNICEF said containers with “essential items for maternal, neonatal, and child survival, including resuscitators and related equipment” were snared by gangs in the capital Port-au-Prince on Saturday.

Apparently the Biden administration decided that it would be a good idea to open the floodgates for those that wish to leave Haiti and come here.

According to the Washington Examiner, so far the Department of Homeland Security has helped to relocate more than 130,000 migrants from Haiti in dozens of U.S. cities…

The Department of Homeland Security has guided over 130,000 illegal immigrants from gang-ravaged Haiti into dozens of unidentified American cities, but it won’t say where.

Many of the 133,000 arrived in just one city that the Biden administration won’t identify, according to a federal report reviewed by the Center for Immigration Studies.

The Washington-based CIS, which backs ending illegal immigration, said that many immigrants flew themselves to the unidentified cities, while others arrived through land ports only to be released to wherever they wanted to go.

Of course a lot more are heading our way.

According to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a boat carrying a group of Haitian migrants that had guns, drugs and night vision gear was recently intercepted off the coast of his state…

“Our Florida Fish and Wildlife offices interdicted a vessel that had 25 illegal immigrants, potential illegal immigrants from Haiti in their boat. In their vessel, they had firearms, they had drugs, they had night vision gear, and were boating very recklessly, which would potentially endanger other folks,” DeSantis said at a press conference where he signed three pieces of legislation to deter illegal immigration.

“That vessel was interdicted near the Sebastian Inlet and those illegal aliens were turned over to the Coast Guard for deportation,” the governor said.

Needless to say, it isn’t just extremely desperate people from Haiti that are attempting to come to the United States in very large numbers.

Right now, our borders are under siege from “asylum seekers” that are coming to us from all over the globe.

Migrants have been taught that if they just say the right things about “seeking asylum” they will be let into the country. And this isn’t just happening at the southern border.

Over the past couple of years, the number of migrants crossing over from Canada has been increasing at an exponential rate…

In fiscal year 2023, border officials encountered 189,401 illegal and inadmissible immigrants along the U.S.–Canada border, including at the ports of entry. Of those, 10,021 were caught crossing illegally between ports of entry.

In fiscal 2021, that number was 916.

Basel Bassel Ebbadi, 22, was caught by the US Border Patrol on March 9 near El Paso, Texas. While in custody, he was asked what he was doing in the US, to which he replied, “I’m going to try to make a bomb,” according to a Border Patrol document exclusively obtained by The Post.

In the latest development, Haiti’s Prime Minister Ariel Henry has agreed to resign following weeks of mounting pressure and increasing violence in the impoverished country. The announcement came after regional leaders met in Jamaica on Monday to discuss a political transition in Haiti.

Currently stranded in Puerto Rico after being prevented by armed gangs from returning home, Mr Henry addressed the nation in a video statement. He declared, “The government that I am leading will resign immediately after the installation of [a transition] council,” and urged the Haitian people to remain calm.

Mr Henry had led the country supposedly on an interim basis since July 2021 following former President Jovenel Moïse’s assassination. He repeatedly postponed elections, claiming that security must be restored first. Many questioned his prolonged governance without an elected president.

Haiti’s capital Port-au-Prince and the surrounding region are under a month-long state of emergency, with a curfew extended due to heavily armed gangs tightening their grip on the streets. They demanded Mr Henry’s resignation and even attacked the main prison, helping thousands of inmates escape.

Matthias Pierre, a former elections minister in Haiti, confirmed Mr Henry’s resignation to the BBC before it was publicly announced. He described the current situation in the country as “very precarious.”

The gangs now seek inclusion in any new power-sharing deal, with Mr Pierre asserting that a political settlement is impossible without the “support” of an international armed force. Mr Henry had been in Kenya to sign a deal on the deployment of such a force when the gangs attacked police stations and stormed two of Haiti’s largest prisons.

Mr Henry’s plane was prevented from landing following the sustained attacks at Haiti’s international airport. His resignation has been expected for several days, as the Caricom group of Caribbean nations viewed him as an impediment to Haiti’s stability. The White House initially wanted to see Mr Henry return to Haiti to oversee the transitional process, but the escalating violence altered their stance.

Without the support of the US state department or his neighbors, Mr Henry had no alternative but to resign. Although he wishes to return to Haiti, the security situation must improve before he can do so, according to the US, which was present at the talks in Kingston on Monday.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken committed an additional $100 million to the 1,000-strong UN-backed security force that Kenya is expected to lead in Haiti. The proposed US contribution to the security force now stands at $300 million following Mr Blinken’s announcement, with a further $33 million allocated for humanitarian aid.

Chairman of the Caricom group and Guyana President Irfaan Ali said, “We acknowledge his resignation upon the establishment of a transitional presidential council and naming of an interim prime minister.” The council will consist of two observers and seven voting members, including representatives from coalitions, the private sector, civil society, and one religious leader.

The council has been mandated to “swiftly” appoint an interim prime minister, with President Ali adding that anyone intending to run in Haiti’s next elections will not be eligible. It is hoped that the council will pave the way for the first elections in Haiti since 2016.
