The House Judiciary Committee issued a subpoena to Willis on Feb. 2 for records pertaining to oversight of her office’s use of federal funds, ultimately resorting to having a United States Marshal hand-deliver the document when she refused to accept it via email. Willis secured an indictment against Trump and other defendants in August over the former president’s efforts to contest the results of the 2020 election in Georgia, which Joe Biden won by less than 12,000 votes.
“The Committee expects that you will produce all responsive documents to the subpoena in the categories prioritized by the Committee no later than 12:00 p.m. on March 28, 2024,” Jordan, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, wrote in the letter to Willis. “If you fail to do so, the Committee will consider taking further action, such as the invocation of contempt of Congress proceedings.”

Willis’s conduct has drawn scrutiny since attorneys for Michael Roman, a Trump co-defendant, filed a motion for Willis’ disqualification on Jan. 8 alleging that Willis, who hired Wade as a special prosecutor to help probe and prosecute the former president, was in a romantic relationship with Wade.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee said on March 1 he would rule by Friday whether Willis would be disqualified following a hearing during which attorneys for Trump and other defendants outlined their case for Willis’ removal.
Jordan previously demanded Willis answer questions related to allegations that the Fulton County DA coordinated with the Biden administration in an August 2023 letter sent shortly after Willis secured the indictment against Trump.
“It is noteworthy that just four days before this indictment, you launched a new campaign fundraising website that highlighted your investigation into President Trump,” Jordan wrote in the August letter. “Additionally, the forewoman of the special grand jury you convened to investigate President Trump earlier this year bragged during an unusual media tour about her excitement at the prospect of subpoenaing President Trump and getting to swear him in.”
Willis denied wrongdoing in a Jan. 14 address at Big Bethel AME Church, accusing her critics of “playing the race card,” while falsely claiming she paid the outside prosecutors the same rate.
Wade reportedly earned $250 an hour while working on the case against Trump, compared to $200 an hour for John Floyd, a RICO expert, according to billing records obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. Other documents obtained by the DCNF show that Floyd was initially paid $150 an hour.
Willis did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the DCNF.
The House Judiciary Committee previously launched a probe into the district attorney over her conduct in the 2020 Georgia election interference case after Willis indicted the former president in mid-August. Jordan and Loudermilk’s inquiry cites a Dec. 17, 2021, letter they uncovered that has lead them to believe “Willis’s office coordinated its investigative actions with the partisan Select Committee,” the Judiciary committee announced on Twitter.
“As you may be aware, I am conducting a criminal investigation of possible attempts to illegally interfere with the administration of Georgia’s 2020 General election. Through news reports, we are aware that your committee has interviewed witnesses relevant to our investigation. We understand from the same reports that your committee’s investigators may have collected records relevant to our investigation,” the letter from Willis to Jan. 6 Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson reads.
“Please accept this letter as an official request from me for access to records that may be relevant to our criminal investigation. Those records include but are not limited to recordings and transcripts of witness interviews and depositions, electronic and print records of communications, and records of travel,” Willis added.

The district attorney also suggested she and her staff pay a visit to Washington, D.C., to meet with the committee’s investigators in January and February of 2022.
Willis, Thompson and Trump did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s requests for comment.

]]>Now, internal documents from Google, which owns YouTube, have been unearthed. These show that Biden pressured the company to censor Americans from spreading alleged “misinformation” related to the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) and vaccinations. This was disclosed by House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), who held a live hearing on social media censorship on Thursday.
On a long thread on X, where he first presented other tech giants’ collusion with big government, Jordan further said: “Here’s the first edition of the YouTube Files. We knew the Biden White House was pushing Facebook and Twitter to censor more. Now we know the White House was repeatedly pressuring Google to censor content on YouTube.”
THE YOUTUBE FILES PART 1. BIDEN WHITE HOUSE PRESSURED YOUTUBE TO CENSOR AMERICANS.
Internal docs from Google (YouTube’s parent company) obtained by @JudiciaryGOP and @Weaponization show that the Biden White House wanted Americans censored.
Thread:https://t.co/tM1IdEIJCG
— Rep. Jim Jordan (@Jim_Jordan) November 30, 2023
The documents, acquired through a source close to the committee, reveal that the White House sought to quash vaccine skeptics. The lawmaker further disclosed that on April 12, 2021, Rob Flaherty, Biden’s director of Digital Strategy, emailed Google wanting to know how the company could better crack down on vaccine “misinformation” and to discuss ways the White House can partner in its product work. Flaherty already left the administration to be deputy campaign manager for Biden’s re-election bid in the 2024 polls.
After a week, an internal email from Google noted that Flaherty “particularly dug in on our decision-making for borderline content,” referring to content that doesn’t violate their Community Guidelines, but instead brushes up against it. Another week passed, the search engine company acknowledged that they sent the White House a list of videos removed for COVID-19 vaccine “misinformation.” “Really [Flaherty’s] interested in what we’re seeing that is not coming down,” reads an email from YouTube. “…there is a very high degree of interest now coming from the White House regarding vaccine misinfo/vaccine hesitancy and our work around borderline content.” It continued, saying that unfortunately, the role of tech in addressing vaccine hesitancy is about to come under a massive spotlight particularly as the supply of the vaccine is soon to outpace demand.
“Over the last several weeks, the Google & YT GAAP team have had conversations with the White House staff on YouTube’s policies and all the great work that is being done to raise authoritative information and fight harmful misinformation related to COVID-19 misinformation,” the communication further read.
The next day, YouTube’s Government Affairs team sent an internal email to the product team to flag the interactions with the White House. “We were hoping to get something on the books in the next two weeks or so to prevent anything from potentially spiraling out of control,” read the email. The team then asked if the product team would meet directly with White House staff to show how much censorship they’ve conducted on their behalf, because “[White House] staff continued to have questions on the raise/reduce efforts” to reduce ‘misinformation’.
Within the same thread, Jordan vowed that his committee will continue the critical investigative work to further inform legislative solutions to the vast government censorship enterprise. He also said that Sen, Rand Paul and the House Republicans introduced legislation that would provide victims of censorship with the ability to sue the government bureaucrats, who are responsible for causing their constitutionally protected speech to be removed. (Related: Rep. Jim Jordan destroys Democrat claim that government never told Twitter to censor.)
Jordan immediately subpoenaed Flaherty to testify about his actions to pressure digital platforms to censor content on the same day of the committee hearing. The latter must sit for committee questions on Jan. 11, the Ohio solon wrote in the legally binding demand for testimony.
“The committee was able to obtain documents that demonstrate the central role you played in communicating the Biden White House’s censorship efforts to social media companies, including the White House’s demands to censor true information, memes, satire and other constitutionally protected forms of expression,” Jordan said in the letter to Flaherty. “Your testimony will inform the committee’s legislative reforms aimed at preventing the Executive Branch from wielding its immense power to pressure social media platforms to censor disfavored viewpoints.”
According to the New York Post, the pending Supreme Court case, for which oral arguments have not yet been scheduled, followed a lower court ruling restricting the government’s ability to pressure companies to squelch disfavored speech. The said ruling came in response to a lawsuit brought by the Republican state attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana, who argued that the Biden administration was violating Americans’ First Amendment free speech rights.
The lawsuit turned up a large number of documents showing that Flaherty and his team contacted Facebook and Twitter to limit the spread of alleged “misinformation” about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 shots. But he repeatedly declined to appear to testify in the case. The same goes with former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, who proclaimed in July 2021 that Biden aides were “flagging” content for removal, but were unsuccessful.
Below is the video of the House Judiciary subcommittee meeting to examine claims that the federal government censors speech on social media.

While this is a sad day for America First patriots, we can take a bit of solace in knowing that some of our fellow conservatives are taking action when they can to punish anti-American RINOs. Congressman Ken Buck was evicted from his office in Colorado because he refused to support the most popular Congressman on Capitol Hill.
According to The Western Journal:
GOP Rep. Ken Buck of Colorado said he has received a notice of eviction because he refused to support Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan’s bid to become speaker of the House.
Buck appeared on NBC News’ “Meet the Press Now” on Thursday to talk about the response to his stance.
“So far I’ve had four death threats,” he said. “I’ve been evicted from my office in Colorado — I have a notice of eviction because the landlord is mad with my voting record on the speaker issue.”
Buck added that “everybody in the conference is getting this.”

Will the UniParty Swamp allow Byron Donalds to be the first Black Speaker of the House or will they try to force another RINO down our throats? We won’t find out until Monday because they just took the weekend off.
]]>Now, Congressman Byron Donalds hopes to achieve what Jordan could not. He has officially entered the race to be Speaker.
While arguably not as conservative as Jordan, he’s still a MAGA warrior. His biggest mistake was backing McCarthy’s continuing resolution, but that may end up helping to endear him to enough of the RINOs to get him the gavel.
As Javier Manjarres noted at Floridian Press before Donalds made it official:
After Rep. Jim Jordan failed to get the votes needed to become Speaker of the House, Rep. Byron Donalds (R) could be moments away from announcing his candidacy for Speaker.
“I don’t know when,” said Rep. Donalds when The Floridian asked him when he would enter the Speaker’s race Rep. Donald said that he would wait to see what happened with Rep. Jordan’s candidacy.
For weeks, Donalds has been weighing out his options, and just taking a wait-and-see position.
Now Rep. Cory Mills (R), who has a close relationship with Donalds, has stated his support for Donalds.

It will be interesting to watch all of the Democrats vote against the first Black Speaker of the House. It will be equally interesting to see if any Republicans are willing deny him.
]]>Liberty-minded Republican Congressman Thomas Massie lamented the action by his conference:
Jim Jordan gave it his all.
He was the best Speaker candidate to reform Congress’s spending addiction that’s been bankrupting our country.
But sadly today the GOP conference met privately and ended his candidacy by a vote of 112 to 86.
I would have voted 1000 rounds for Jim.

This should make every America First patriot angry. To be clear, Jordan would not be in my top-10 list of current members of Congress to be speaker and he probably wouldn’t crack my top-20 if we included those outside of the House. But he is the best viable option we’ve been offered to carry the gavel in decades because he’s not built from the same material as people like Kevin McCarthy, Paul Ryan, or John Boehner. Even with his flaws, he’s far better than the others who have represented the GOP in the House.
This falls squarely on Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise for being conniving traitors, the 20 RINOs whose careers should end as soon as possible, and the 112 weaklings who have ignored the will of their Republican voters who overwhelmingly supported Jordan.
Jim Jordan “No” votes as of 5:15 pm EST:
We’re down to the last 8 RINOs
Jim Jordan “No” votes as of 5:15 pm EST:
Don Bacon (NE-02)
Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26)
Carlos Gimenez (FL-28)
Frank Lucas (OK-03)
John Rutherford (FL-05)
Mike Simpson (ID-02)
Steve Womack (AR-02)
Ken Buck (CO-04) https://t.co/kdB0IvlkVm— DC_Draino (@DC_Draino) October 16, 2023
As Jim Hoft at The Gateway Pundit pointed out, grassroots efforts are “literally melting the phone lines” to get the holdouts in line.
Jim Jordan is no stranger to grassroots activism. As the founding chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, he has been at the forefront of issues that resonate with the Republican base. His commitment to conservative principles has made him a natural choice for many who wish to see a more unified and effective GOP in Congress.
The grassroots pressure has been so intense that even previous critics within the GOP have started to endorse Jordan. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL), the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, was among the first to change his stance after his office was flooded with phone calls.
Keep it up, folks. I’m not the biggest fan of Jim Jordan but he’s far and away the best name to be getting serious consideration.
]]>And they all hate Congressman Matt Gaetz.
Among those opposed to Jordan for the sake of spiting Gaetz is Congressman John Rutherford from Florida. Here he is expressing why he won’t vote for Jordan:
Rep. John Rutherford (R- FL) said he still supported Rep. McCarthy (R-CA) for the speakership, saying he had 96% of the conference's support: "I'm a no on allowing Matt Gaetz and the other seven to win by putting their individual in as speaker." pic.twitter.com/lDySGPzvoZ
— CSPAN (@cspan) October 13, 2023
But Rutherford isn’t just going against Gaetz and Jordan. He’s opposed to President Donald Trump, who has endorsed Jordan. He’s also opposed to Republican voters who have overwhelmingly approved of Jordan as Speaker of the House.
Any GOP member of Congress who is against Jim Jordan, Donald Trump, and the American people must be censured by their district’s party and primaried next year. Their allegiance is to McCarthy and the Swamp, not America.
]]>According to Politico [emphasis added]:
The survey also noted that among those Americans who supported his ouster, 75% agreed with the sentiment that McCarthy wasn’t effective, an opinion that came after McCarthy cut a deal to avert a government shutdown last month, angering many of the members of the right flank of his party.
Notably, 54% of Americans who identified as conservative expressed approval for ousting McCarthy, while 70% of Americans who called themselves liberals backed the move.
Buzz has been building since the weekend that McCarthy wants back in and he’s building a group of supporters in Congress to make it happen. This is unacceptable. Our representatives on Capitol Hill are supposed to represent the people who voted for them. Those people want someone other than McCarthy to be Speaker of the House.
The biggest problem in Washington DC is cronyism, better known as corruption. It’s not just the standard corruption from outside DC working its way into the voting records and bank accounts of elected officials. There’s also the internal party cronyism which allows those in power to retain power because of repercussions that befall those who buck the system. This is why Mitch McConnell, who is unpopular even among Republicans in the Senate, has been able to remain in power. His control over multiple PACs and his inside track to special interest groups means opposing him is a death sentence to any Republican Senator’s career.
McCarthy has become a mini-McConnell in the House. Given enough time in power, he will be able to consolidate his influence and be the GOP version of Nancy Pelosi. This is why it’s imperative that the gavel should never be given to him again. I’d argue that this is more important in the long-term than his disastrous policies, including the continuing resolution he was only able to pass with the help of every Democrat except one.
That’s an important point to remember. Republicans and conservative commentators who complain that McCarthy was only ousted because Democrats backed Congressman Matt Gaetz never had a problem with the fact that McCarthy was only able to fund the vast majority of Joe Biden’s agenda because Democrats backed the McCarthy-Schumer deal.
Steve Scalise is marginally better than McCarthy. Jordan would be a decent improvement. McCarthy’s return to power would be disastrous. Any Republican Congressman who votes to bring him back must be primaried into their next gig with CNN.
“Just had a great conversation with President Trump about the Speaker’s race,” Nehls posted on Twitter Thursday evening. “He is endorsing Jim Jordan, and I believe Congress should listen to the leader of our party. I fully support Jim Jordan for Speaker of the House.”

Republican Rep. Kevin McCarthy was ousted as Speaker of the House Tuesday in a 216-210 vote, with eight Republicans joining 208 Democrats in voting for a motion to vacate the chair.
Jordan currently chairs the House Judiciary Committee and that committee’s Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, and was designated as one of the leaders of the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden alongside Republican Reps. James Comer of Kentucky and Jason Smith of Missouri by then-Speaker McCarthy Sept. 12.
House Majority Leader Steve Scalise of Louisiana is also running to succeed McCarthy.
