Unfortunately, most in conservative and even alternative media are currently ignoring this story. But as is often the case, we’re highlighting the story here in hopes that others will pick up the ball.

Let’s look at some facts. First and foremost, the discrepancy between the Presidential race the Senate race is huge. Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris by nearly 200,000 votes, over 6-points. Lake allegedly lost by 45,000 votes, or 1.5%. While there can definitely be variations between a Senate and Presidential candidate, Lake and Trump are practically in lockstep on nearly every issue. It’s extremely unlikely that a quarter million Arizonans voted for Trump AND Gallego on the same ballot.

So, Donald Trump got 150,000 more votes than Trump-backed candidate @KariLake. Lake got nearly 40,000 more votes than Kamala Harris.

BUT Dem. senate candidate Ruben Gallego got 45,000 more than Lake? And he got 80,000 more than Harris?

Then, there’s the strange ballot drops magically appeared after the deadline. In any state that runs fair elections, this would ring alarm bells. Unfortunately, Arizona is notorious as one of the most corrupt states when it comes to election integrity.

According to Jim Hoft from The Gateway Pundit:

Election officials in Arizona are once again changing the ballot totals as the US Senate Seat has yet to be called.

President Trump won the state 52.7% to 46.4% over Kamala Harris.

But the officials in Arizona want you to believe that a majority of Arizona voters voted for Trump, and then a majority voted for the open borders communist Ruben Gallego, the son of a cartel attorney.

The Kari Lake campaign fired off a letter on Friday to Pima County officials after they were caught changing the ballot totals this week!

Then, there’s the election official in Maricopa County, the state’s largest, who declared that he wants to “make life hell” for Kari Lake. He happens to be in charge of county the ballots.

According to the Daily Mail, Stephen Richer’s animus toward Lake was revealed in the transcript of a June 21 deposition in which he was asked about a communication with a friend.

“And your response if kind of a laundry list here of bullet points: Get out of politics permanently; get out of politics temporarily; run for reelection as a Republican; run for reelection as an independent; run for mayor if no Kate; and then finally run for U.S. Sen, just to fly the flag for real conservatism and make life hell for Kari,” the lawyer questioning Richer said. “Did I read that correctly?”

“Yes,” Richer replied.

“Why would you want to make life hell for Kari Lake in March of 2023?” Richer was asked.

“I don’t remember,” Richer said. “I don’t think she’s a real conservative.”

Skeptics may question why Trump was allowed to win but not Lake. With Arizona’s notoriously late ballot counting status, the presidency had already been secured by Trump before half the ballots were counted in Arizona. It made no sense to risk national attention by having questionable vote counts hit that race.

Lake is insanely popular in Arizona with support that is very similar to Trump’s. For her to lose when Trump won the state by a good margin is unfathomable. But it’s Arizona, and in Arizona elections are swayed by those who count the votes. Unfortunately for Lake, the people counting the votes hate her.

Lake and Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego are likely to compete for Sinema‘s seat in November after months of speculation as to whether the independent would seek another term. National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Chairman Steve Daines hosted the fundraiser, and Senate GOP Conference Chairman John Barrasso, Senate Minority Whip John Thune and Texas Sen. John Cornyn were in attendance, Lake’s campaign told the DCNF.

“Kari Lake raised [$330,000] at one event for one hour. Republicans are excited about her campaign,” a spokesperson for the campaign told the DCNF. “Her opponent, Ruben Gallego is Far-Left, supporting open borders, sanctuary cities, and high taxes. He votes with Biden 100 percent of the time. Arizonans won’t be fooled by Gallego’s extreme record.”

Other prominent Republican senators who were at the fundraiser include Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, Roger Marshall of Kansas and Tom Cotton of Arkansas, according to the campaign.

The NRSC officially endorsed Lake on Feb. 13.

Gallego’s campaign announced just hours earlier that he brought in over $1 million from nearly 24,000 donors in the 24 hours following Sinema’s announcement. The haul was the campaign’s “most prolific fundraising day,” according to Gallego’s team.

The congressman, who has been in the race for over a year, raised $13. 2 million this cycle with $6.5 million cash on hand, according to the latest data from the Federal Election Commission. Lake’s campaign reported topping $2 million since her October launch, and entered 2024 with just over $1 million in the bank.

The Senate race has already become much more competitive in Sinema’s absence, with polling suggesting she would’ve lost in a three-way race.

A late February poll from Rasmussen Reports/The Bull Moose Project found Lake leading Gallego by three points in a head-to-head matchup, while an earlier Emerson College/The Hill survey indicated the congressman would win by seven points.

Sinema’s seat is in the “Toss Up” category for 2024, along with races to oust Democratic Sens. Sherrod Brown of Ohio and Jon Tester of Montana, according to The Cook Political Report.

I symbolically cracked my knuckles, put the article on one screen and prepared to rebuke the article on the other screen. But upon reading it, I realized it was written from a proper perspective. It wasn’t bashing Kari Lake out of spite. It didn’t claim the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election was fair and square. It didn’t call on Lake to get out of politics and let a non-MAGA RINO run.

As it turned out, the article was spot on other than one major point. And even though that point is major it’s not blatantly obvious, so I uncracked my knuckles and prepared to move on, leaving my ire on the table to direct at someone else who actually deserved it. But as the day continued the article nagged at me. I’m not big on writing about slight disagreements since there are plenty of UniParty Swampsters to go after passionately.

In lieu of a rebuke, I’ll add a bit of context that should clear things up. According to Duke, Lake should not be running for U.S. Senate because she should be putting all of her efforts and fundraising prowess to work in a focused effort to expose the massive, widespread voter fraud that stole the 2022 (and 2020) elections in Arizona. It’s an understandable and even noble premise for his article, but the flaw is this: She’s already done that and lost multiple times.

Nobody has fought voter fraud following a stolen election harder than Kari Lake’s team. Not Donald Trump. Not Doug Mastriano. Not Dr Mehmet Oz. Not Blake Masters. I like all of them other than Dr. Oz, but combined they didn’t fight their stolen elections as hard as Lake’s team.

Considering the efforts that have thus far yielded zero fruit, it make sense for her team to assume that the truth isn’t going to prevail. They’ve presented mountains of evidence that demonstrate unambiguously how ballot fraud at a massive scale took place in Maricopa County, but the UniParty Swamp system has them completely blocked off. They can’t get a judge that isn’t corrupt. They can’t get media coverage even from conservative news outlets who are scared of being labeled “election deniers.”

They can’t catch a break.

But here’s the thing. They ARE continuing to fight against all odds because it’s the right thing to do. Lake’s direct participation at this stage is not needed. She raised enough funds to make the case and it still wasn’t enough. Could she raise more funds? Sure, but that’s not the problem. They need more evidence that’s beyond the bombshells they already dropped.

Instead of fighting a single-front war, she decided to run for U.S. Senate while allowing her team to continue the uphill battle of exposing the fraudulent 2022 election. At this stage, they don’t need much from her. They can continue to fight on that front while she tries to get to Capitol Hill.

Duke’s assessment was accurate. I have no qualms about his perspectives. I simply agree with Lake’s decision that her efforts are better spent attacking the UniParty Swamp directly rather than continuing to participate in the ongoing 2022 election litigation. She and her teams (legal and campaign) can walk and chew gum at the same time.

Ms. Lake—who has for months been weighing up plans to run for the seat currently held by Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.)—announced the 2024 Senate campaign to a crowd of supporters in Scottsdale.

Ms. Sinema, who left the Democratic Party to become an independent in December, has yet to announce whether or not she will seek a second term.

Before taking to the stage Monday to announce her intentions to run, a video message was played on a large digital screen to the crowd of Ms. Lake’s supporters showing the former television news host taking aim at everything from “fake news” to the “left agenda.”

Ms. Lake, 54, then entered the stage to a round of applause before delivering a nearly 50-minute-long speech in which she touched upon numerous topics including President Joe Biden, soaring gas prices, the ongoing border crisis, and the recent attack of Israel by a Palestinian group and U.S.-designated terrorist organization, Hamas.

“Joe Biden has us on a fast track to total destruction and I don’t know about you but I’m really to put him on an Amtrak back to Delaware. “The whole world’s tired of Joe,” Ms. Lake told the crowd.

“Our border is wide open here in Arizona, we know it because we’re feeling it here in Arizona, There is an absolute invasion in our country with millions of people pouring in, tonnes of deadly drugs pouring into this country, and now we’re seeing what that can mean, we’re seeing the horror playing out, and what’s transpired in Israel over the past few days—absolutely barbaric attacks on innocence,” Ms. Lake continued.

‘Not Going to Retreat’

Ms. Lake also sought to blame President Biden and former President Barack Obama’s “outrageous deals” for “enabling Hamas,” before telling the crowd, “I know we’re all praying for Israel.”

Concluding her address to the crowd, Ms. Lake vowed to put America first if she were to win the Arizona senate seat.

“I am not going to retreat. I’m going to stand on top of this hill with every single one of you, and I know you’re by my side as I formally announce my candidacy for the United States Senate,” she declared.

Later, Ms. Lake reflected on the days under the Trump administration, telling the crowd she “misses” the former President, with whom she has remained a close ally.

After delivering her lengthy speech to the crowd, Ms. Lake, a former Fox 10 news anchor, shared a pre-taped video of President Trump, who said she had his endorsement.

Trump Issues Glowing Endorsement

“When I’m back in the White House, I need strong fighters like Kari in the Senate,” President Trump said. “She is a fighter, she’s strong and she’s got a great heart by the way… She is one of the toughest fighters in our movement and I am proud to give her my complete and total endorsement,” he said.
Ms. Lake’s announcement comes less than a year after she lost in the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial race against Gov. Katie Hobbs, a Democrat.

While the Republican has maintained her belief that election fraud played a role in her defeat and has not conceded the race, she spent little time discussing the topic during Monday’s speech, simply telling the audience, “We did everything right, and we saw the disaster of election day in Arizona.”

“Sometimes when things don’t go the way we expect, we find ourselves questioning and asking why … I think God has bigger plans for us,” Ms. Lake told the crowd.

Ms. Lake joins the race for U.S. Senator from Arizona alongside Republican Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb and Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), who announced his candidacy in January. Ms. Sinema has yet to announce a run.

A poll by National Research Inc., conducted Oct. 7-9, places Ms. Lake in the lead in a hypothetical three-way race against Mr. Gallego and Ms. Sinema, with 37 percent of voter support compared to 33 percent for Mr. Gallego and 19 percent for Ms. Sinema.

Arizona, one of the most politically important U.S. states, is one of eight competitive seats Democrats will be seeking to defend next year as they try to protect their narrow 51-49 Senate majority.

With the governor lagging far behind President Trump in the polls, Rubin has taken to social media to hit those who aren’t part of Team Ron. One such prominent figure was Kari Lake, a staunch supporter of President Trump.

She unfollowed him on Twitter, telling him face-to-face at the GOP debate, “Don’t take it personally.”

That should have been the end of it. But Rubin decided to call her an “election denier” and post a video of Lake hitting DeSantis over beach lockdowns that included Trump pressing the same.

Mini-dramas like these happen even when people are generally aligned but opposed on individual issues. The GOP primaries have been very passionate, particularly between Team Trump and Team DeSantis. I don’t fault him for defending his guy.

With that said, it’s extremely disappointing to hear that Rubin believes the 2020 election was not stolen. I have always respected his intellect, but that respect appears to be misplaced. When Democrats deny 2020 voter fraud I chalk it up to bias. But when someone supposedly fighting for freedom comes to the conclusion that Joe “You Ain’t Black” Biden received more Black votes than Barack Obama while ignoring massive ballot drops at 3am in the most corrupt districts in the land, I have to conclude that they’re either supremely unintelligent or controlled opposition.

Kari Lake should be in the governor’s office, but the most corrupt statewide election in Arizona history was covered up by press and ignored by the courts.

It was a bitter and inaccurate response, especially considering that Lake has been pursuing truth and justice with both kindness and empathy since before she even ventured into politics. But Carter has built a reputation in recent years of latching onto every woke viewpoint she can attach herself to, so it’s no surprise she would attack Lake over a meme.

Did Lake lash out? No. She dropped one of the classiest replies I’ve ever seen from someone who was just insulted by a former celebrity.

As much as I’d love to see Kari Lake intellectually dismantle the former Hollywood star, this display of class achieved a far better result. They say in politics you should never punch down. This is the way.

None of the hopefuls, however, were staging events where former Arizona gubernatorial candidate and MAGA maven Kari Lake went upon her arrival at the fair: into a steamy, scented barn to milk a cow.

An Iowa native raised on a farm, Ms. Lake made points with each pull, asking between the swish, swish, swish of freshly spurt milk if any reporters from the New York Times were around so they could see living proof “that there are only two genders.”

If this exhibition didn’t suffice, she invited anyone unsure about how many genders there are to go to the nearby bullpen “and milk a bull and see how that goes.”

Four presidential candidates were on the grounds—former Vice President Mike Pence, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, Michigan businessman Perry Johnson, conservative radio host Larry Elder, Jr.—stumping at the Des Moines Register Political Soapbox and joining Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds for ‘Fair Side Chats.’ Texas pastor and entrepreneur Ryan Binkley was making rounds.

But it was Ms. Lake, a prospective 2024 Arizona senate candidate, and potential Trump running mate, who stole the show on the second day of the 11-day Iowa State Fair.

More than 1 million visitors and at least 13 presidential candidates are expected to prowl the 445-acre fairgrounds near the State Capitol complex east of downtown Des Moines before the fair ends Aug. 20. At least seven, including Mr. Trump, will be on scene Aug. 12.

Ms. Lake said the former president enjoys venues like the Iowa State Fair, where he plans to meet and greet folks on the midway “because he is a man of the people” rather than participate in the fair’s scheduled event. His campaign only announced he was coming on Aug. 8.

And so Ms. Lake was on Team Trump’s vanguard, ensuring the former president, who leads GOP rivals by 30 percentage points in national polls but not by as such wide margins in Iowa, remains first and foremost in voters’ minds.

“I am going to do everything I can to help President Trump,” she said, noting the nation is suffering under the tutelage of the Biden administration. “I’m really just a mom who is tired of where this country is going.”

Ms. Lake said as a native Iowan who grew up on a farm, she understands the importance of agriculture. “Iowa feeds the United States and the world,” she said, “and the president knows that” too.

Senate or Trump’s VP Running Mate?

One of 2024’s most pivotal Senate races will be in Arizona, where Republicans have a good chance to gain a seat in their effort to recapture the Senate.

Incumbent Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, elected in 2018 as a Democrat before leaving the party in December 2022, has not announced her 2024 intentions but is expected to seek a second six-year term.

Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) announced in January that he was running for Ms. Sinema’s seat. Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb and former gubernatorial candidate George Nicholson are the two most prominent Republican hopefuls.

With an April 8 filing deadline for the state’s Aug. 6, 2024 primary, much is in flux in the key battleground state, but a contentious three-way race appears likely.

Ms. Lake said she is pondering entering the GOP primary to win the party nod to take on Ms. Sinema and Mr. Gallego.

“I am strongly considering it,” she said, promising a decision by fall. “I need to take a look at the field” to ensure the Republicans field a candidate that can “meet the needs of the people of Arizona.”

Rumor had it that Ms. Lake would be appearing later at Steak & Stein, a restaurant bar on the fairgrounds midway, and would be bartending.

She was, she said, but had not heard about the bartending gig. But, no problem, she can do that.

“I know how to milk a cow and I know how to tap a beer,” Ms. Lake said. “I’d do it if they let me.”

Even without Mr. Trump on the scene, Aug. 12 will be a busy day for midway politicking with entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, former Trump administration U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis—all already campaigning across the Hawkeye State—joining Gov. Reynolds for morning ‘Fair Side Chats.’

Mr. Ramaswamy and Ms. Haley will later that day appear on Des Moines Register Political Soapbox along with Republican pastor and business owner Ryan Binkley and Democrats Marianne Williamson—who will be on stage as Mr. Trump is speaking elsewhere on the fairgrounds—and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Former Republican Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), and former Rep. Will Hurd (R-Texas) will be campaigning at the fair next week.

Wikileaks founder and current political prisoner Julian Assange is one of the most polarizing persons in the world. Some claim he’s an information terrorist and a danger to western nations, including the United States. Others see him as a persecuted hero who exposed the “wrong” governments and is now having to pay the price for telling the truth.

Wherever one stands on the Assange opinion spectrum, it’s undeniable that he has changed the world as well as the state of journalism. Unfortunately, his opening of the floodgates of whistleblowers and leakers has also forced countermeasures by most government. They have tightened information control and engaged in full-blown censorship, laughably in the name of “preserving freedom.”

Happy Birthday, Mr. Assange. Thank you, Kari Lake, for taking a bold position on this polarizing figure.

When asked by Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle if she was considering another run for office in Arizona, Lake, who is challenging her narrow election loss, confirmed that she is contemplating another bid. She emphasized that she has not given up on her legal battle to secure and reform elections and expressed her belief that real people should be involved in politics.

Lake stated, “I may run for Senate, I’m considering that. It’s something I may have to do because we can’t have people who don’t care about Arizonans representing us in Washington, DC. Got a lot of options on the table. I’m taking a look at all of them, and I’ll be making some decisions here in the coming months.”

It’s worth noting that Republican Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb has already announced his bid for the U.S. Senate, potentially setting up a primary contest with Lake if she decides to run. On the Democratic side, Rep. Ruben Gallego has launched a campaign for the Democratic nomination as Senator Kyrsten Sinema switched from the Democratic Party to become an independent last year. Sinema is reportedly considering her own bid for the Senate, setting the stage for a three-way showdown.

During the interview, Lake also revealed an interesting incident related to her book. She mentioned that while writing “Unafraid,” a “high profile person” tried to bribe her to stay out of politics by offering her a cushy job, a nice paycheck, and a position on a board. However, Lake refused the offer, stating that she is not motivated by money and is determined to continue her political career.

“Unafraid,” which was released on Tuesday, is described by Lake as a memoir chronicling her upbringing in America’s heartland and her career as a journalist. The book also delves into the state of political affairs and discrepancies she sees in the 2020 and 2022 elections. It covers various aspects of her life, and Lake wrote it from the heart, aiming to make it a page-turner for readers.

The book’s prologue, titled “crash landing,” teases a gripping account of a close brush with death on the campaign trail during an unfortunate flight. Lake hopes that readers will find the book captivating and engaging from the first sentence of the prologue.
