But there’s another angle, one I am not pleased to consider. All of this talk of coming terrorist attacks fit perfectly with the notion of a false flag being planned, especially considering the proximity to the election. Between the warnings, the border crisis, and the sources of the information all being propagators of ill tidings, I’m inclined to take the threats seriously. (The Epoch Times)—House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner (R-Ohio) said Sunday that the United States is currently at its “highest level” for the possibility of a terrorist attack occurring on American soil.

During an interview with CBS News, Mr. Turner was asked about reports of recent arrests with individuals with ties to the ISIS terrorist group in the United States.

“What’s important about these reports and what we’re seeing, especially in conjunction with [FBI] Director [Christopher] Wray’s public statements, that we are at the highest level of a possible terrorist threat, that the administration’s policies have absolutely directly related to threats to Americans,” Mr. Turner said.

He added to CBS News that the threats are “no longer speculative” and “not longer hypothetical” in light of public comments made by the FBI director during multiple congressional committee meetings in the past six months or so.

“We have actual administration officials stepping forward and certainly our committee and our committee members have concurred on the intelligence that we’re seeing,“ Mr. Turner told the outlet. ”That as a result of the administration’s policies allowing people to cross the border unvetted, we have terrorists that are actively working with inside the United States that are a threat to Americans.”

His comments came in light of reports, citing unnamed U.S. officials, that claimed that at least eight Tajikistan nationals with alleged ties to ISIS were arrested in several major cities including New York and Los Angeles. The Epoch Times has not been able to independently verify those reports.

On June 14, meanwhile, the U.S. Department of State and Turkey announced they would impose sanctions on three individuals who have ties to ISIS and are involved with a network involved in facilitating travel into the United States.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) sent a letter to Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) about requesting a classified briefing for all senators about ISIS threats, he told Fox News on June 12 in an exclusive.

“I have never been more worried than I am right now about an attack on our homeland” after the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, combined with what he described as lax border security,” Mr. Graham wrote on X. Two days prior, he wrote on social media he has “been sounding the alarm for over two years” that the United States currently is at risk of a 9/11-like terrorist attack.

Earlier this month, Mr. Wray told a Senate committee the United States currently faces threats posed by foreign terrorists that “rise to a whole ‘nother level” following the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks in Israel, which punctuated the start of the ongoing Israel–Hamas conflict.

“Looking back over my career in law enforcement, I’d be hard pressed to think of a time when so many different threats to our public safety and national security were so elevated all at once, but that is the case as I sit here today,” the FBI director said at the time, while pushing for increased funding for the federal law enforcement bureau.

He also made reference to a terrorist attack at a concert hall in Moscow that left scores of people dead that ISIS-K, or Islamic State Khorasan, claimed responsibility for.

“We’ve seen a rogue’s gallery of foreign terrorist organizations call for attacks against Americans and our allies,” Mr. Wray said, adding that what is “increasingly concerning is the potential for a coordinated attack here in the homeland, akin to the ISIS-K attack we saw at the Russia Concert Hall in March.”

Mr. Wray had also sounded the alarm on his concerns about possible human smuggling operations along the U.S.–Mexico border and that Mexico should also provide more support.

GOP Rep Considers Challenging Lindsey Graham in 2026 Senate Primary: REPORT

South Carolina GOP Rep. and House Freedom Caucus member Ralph Norman is weighing a 2026 Senate bid to challenge Sen. Lindsey Graham in the Republican primary, according to Politico.

Graham has served in the upper chamber since 2003 and has repeatedly beat out primary challengers, but was booed on July 1 by his own constituents at a rally for former President Donald Trump. Conservatives now see an opportunity for another Republican to emerge in 2026 and have been discussing a potential bid with Norman, a source familiar with the matter told Politico.

“Rep. Norman is not ruling anything out but has made no decisions yet on future elections,” a spokesperson for Norman told the Daily Caller News Foundations in a statement. “He remains firmly committed to serving South Carolina’s 5th district in the House, and doing everything within his ability to restore fiscal sanity and conservative values to Congress.”

Conservatives have grown frustrated with Graham for his moderate position on key issues, most recently his devout support for Ukraine in the war with Russia, and several Trump allies argue the senator isn’t loyal, according to Politico.

The two South Carolinians have attended events together, and Norman endorsed Graham in 2019 during the most recent Senate primary, according to Politico. Graham went on to beat three Republican primary challengers in 2020, according to Greenville News.

“No one has done more than Lindsey Graham to confirm President Trump’s conservative judges and help rebuild our military. That’s why we need Lindsey Graham re-elected to the United States Senate,” Norman said in 2019, per Greenville News.

Graham also beat now Republican Rep. Nancy Mace in the 2014 Senate primary, but none of the senator’s previous GOP challengers have held the degree of name recognition that Norman has, according to Politico.

Graham has endorsed Trump for president in 2024 because he “was a good president,” but was a vocal opponent of the then-candidate’s 2016 bid, arguing “if the Republican Party nominates Donald Trump, they will destroy themselves and they will deserve it.”

Norman isn’t backing the former president for the 2024 primary, and instead threw his support behind former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley when she announced her campaign in February.

Prior to his time in the Senate, Graham served in the state legislature before winning a U.S. House seat in the late 1990s, according to Ballotpedia. Norman, who is currently running for reelection in 2024, has been in Congress since 2017 when he won the special election to replace outgoing Rep. Mick Mulvaney, and previously served in the South Carolina state House.

Neither Graham nor Norman immediately responded to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

For McConnell, Murkowski is another beholden senator kept securely in his pocket who will vote how he wants on any given day.  That might not be so bad (except for the good people of Alaska, whom she purportedly represents) if McConnell were not also an aristocrat who routinely betrays Republican voters.  However, because his loyalties lie with President Xi, multinational corporations, the World Economic Forum, and his good friend Joe Biden, China Mitch uses the leash around Murkowski’s neck only when he needs help sticking it to the American people.  And oh, how Senate Republicans love to screw over the American people!

I mention this person because she and other backstabbing Senate Republicans (think John Cornyn, Mitt Romney, John Thune, etc.) got together to do their version of Festivus in July, during which they told The Hill how much they absolutely loathe normal Republican voters.  “[O]ur party is becoming known as a group of kind of extremist, populist, over-the-top [people] where no one is taking us seriously anymore,” Murkowski laments.

Our party?  Alaskan Republicans tried to cashier your rear years ago, and you thumbed your nose at their wishes, ran as a write-in candidate, and got elected by Democrats.  Instead of stripping you of your ranking position on choice committee assignments, Senate Republicans celebrated your “victory” over the actual Republican nominee (and Tea Party favorite, Joe Miller) by preserving your seniority.  Last year, Republicans again tried to be done with you, and McConnell and his boys rigged the election by implementing ranked-choice voting — an incumbent protection racket that also defeated Sarah Palin and sent a Democrat to the House!  Deep-red Alaska can’t represent conservatives’ interests when Senate Republicans work with Chuck Schumer to benefit Barack Obama’s favorite candidates!

That is the absurdity of the Murkowski position.  She and her ilk believe that the Republican Party should be represented by individuals who adore Barack Obama, voted for Hillary Clinton, and consider child-sniffer Joe Biden a close personal friend.  And because she is too daft to grasp the mood of the country and such a product of venal nepotism as to have scant self-awareness, she thinks the riffraff will eventually see things her way.  If they actually had elections in Alaska, Murkowski’s campaign slogan really could be “Let them eat cake,” and nobody would bat an eye.  It is what abused voters expect when Dirty Mitch McConnell’s election-riggers continue to hand out fortune cookies to the natives advising, “You shall be represented by a Democrat in Republican clothing.”

Yet Marie Antoinette Murkowski is hardly the only Senate nincompoop with her head buried several fathoms deep in quicksand.  Numerous Republican members of the House of Lords peered peevishly through clenched monocles while tsk-tsk-ing their alleged constituents and telling The Hill how horrendously difficult it is to use the powers of the Senate to become filthy rich while the “deplorables” outside their doors refuse to go away.

“There are an astonishing number of people in my state who believe the election was stolen,” said one dumbfounded Republican senator too cowardly to go on the record.  I suppose when Senate Republicans steal an election for their contemptible colleague Murkowski, watching Democrats steal battleground states with mail-in-ballot dumps just feels like normal politicking — what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, after all.  For normal Americans who know cheating when they see it and do not speak Parseltongue, though, the whole flock of geese appear dumb, corrupt, and quite deserving of being stuffed with figs and made into foie gras.

Another pusillanimous Republican hiding behind anonymity bluntly revealed his/her/their aristocratic proclivities by noting that “the kind of people who think the election was stolen … it’s not just a ‘red-neck’ thing.  It’s people in business, the president of a bank, a doctor.”  Oh, my, you mean the only Republicans either (1) lacking sufficient common sense to question how Unpopular Joe could win 81 million votes or (2) so filled with moral turpitude that they aided and abetted the Democrats’ 2020 steal are those Republicans who sit in the Senate’s chamber?  Sacré bleu!  Quelle surprise!  On behalf of rednecks everywhere, you prissy “elites” sure are stupid!  Never has one group of people so merited a collective swirlie.

In a comment that registers high on the mother-of-all-cluelessness scales, that same lily-livered shrinking violet above also whined, “In my state there are a lot of folks who see Washington as disconnected, they see their way of life threatened.”  Duh!  Republican voters have been making this point for decades.  Please, take this worthless central bank digital currency and buy some ears and a working brain.  When Republican voters don’t just fall into line, he continued, their rejection of the Uniparty “makes it a lot more difficult to govern, it makes it difficult to talk to constituents.”  There it is: the unvarnished truth.  In order to preserve “democracy,” we must install dictatorship.  Snap to, proles!  There can be no dissent in this (mal)functioning Republic!

What can normal Republican voters say to a group of Republican senators who do not represent them faithfully?  They sound like a bunch of hyperventilating prima donnas standing one stair up from ground level while promising bemused onlookers that they might just jump unless they get their way.  Go ahead, jump, fools!  Then walk over to the left side of the aisle, where you belong.

I don’t care if John Thune, Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, John Cornyn, Thom Tillis, Susan Collins, Lindsey Graham, Bill Cassidy, Shelley Capito, Joni Ernst, Todd Young, or any of the other “DeceptiCons” all come out as proud “woke” warriors who can no longer stand the company of ordinary Republican voters.  Off with you!  Be gone!  Better to be honestly represented by fewer people than duplicitously represented by a WEF-worshiping coven of liars, losers, insider traders, warmongers, and corporate whores.  Let me put this as simply as possible for Romney’s alter ego Pierre Delecto: casse-toi!  Any sans-couilles Senate Republicans need not stay.

It is astounding how bizarrely distorted our “representation” in the Senate has become.  The vast majority of voters strongly disagree with Republican senators’ priorities and leadership; the vast majority of Republican senators entirely reject the concerns of Republican voters.

It is almost as if we are represented by hostile Democrats — with the exception that our senators have not yet openly embraced sterilizing children and applauding men for dominating women’s sports.  Give them time, though!  You might remember how proud tête de noeud Delecto was when he paraded around with Black Lives Matter after that domestic terror group had torched and looted small businesses around the country.  Whatever Marxist Democrats support today, Senate Republicans are certain to support one or two election cycles down the line!

They already love how embracing the hoax of man-made climate change gives them more money and power.  They have kept their mouths shut while the Department of (in)Justice persecutes President Trump and his supporters.  And they have remained far too quiet while State-imposed censorship, warrantless surveillance, and forced experimental injections have become the orders of the day.

Sometime soon, Murkowski and Senate Republicans will be chastising Republican voters for not embracing totalitarianism the proper way.

Now, the UniParty Swamp has changed its tune, and RINO NeoCon Senator Lindsey Graham is leading the charge to pop Ukraine into NATO. As he posted on Twitter:

Let’s debunk just about everything he said. The truthful part is the beginning when he said he’d be working with Republicans and Democrats, omitting that the ones he’ll work with are card-carrying members of the UniParty Swamp, which makes up most on Capitol Hill. After that statement, the lie detector rings like a church bell.

No, adding Ukraine will NOT prevent future wars nor will it promote peace. No, aggressor nations will not think twice before starting wars because NATO has demonstrated it isn’t nearly as strong as it has pretended to be for years. And no, Ukrainian NATO membership is not vital to future security of the Europe and the world.

Unfortunately, he’s also correct when he said an overwhelming majority of the Swamp will support membership despite the fact that it will exacerbate Russia even more.

#1 Russia just signed a deal to deploy tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus…

The defense ministers of Russia and Belarus on Thursday signed a document on the deployment of Russian tactical nuclear weapons on Belarusian territory, the state-run TASS news agency reported, citing the Defense Ministry of Belarus.

Russia will retain control over its non-strategic nuclear weapons stationed in neighboring Belarus, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at a document-signing event with his Belarusian counterpart Viktor Khrenin in Minsk.

“Russia will not transfer nuclear weapons to the Republic of Belarus: control over them and the decision to use them remains with the Russian side,” he said.

#2 U.S. and Taiwanese officials have reportedly been talking about bringing Taiwan under the “nuclear umbrella” of the United States.  Needless to say, such a move would make war with China much more likely…

There seems to be a growing demand for a US ‘nuclear umbrella’ in Taiwan amid increasing belligerence by China in the Asia Pacific region.

The desire for such a ‘nuclear umbrella’ against a potential invasion by China – which is already provided to Japan and South Korea by the United States (US) – has reportedly received support from defence experts in Taiwan.

The US ‘nuclear umbrella’ will not see the deployment of atomic weapons in Taiwan, but will see the world’s ‘sole superpower’ respond in kind to a nuclear attack by China during an invasion of the island nation.

#3 The Russians have just issued an arrest warrant for U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham…

Russia’s Interior Ministry on Monday issued an arrest warrant for U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham following his comments related to the fighting in Ukraine.

In an edited video of his meeting on Friday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that was released by Zelenskyy’s office, Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, noted that “the Russians are dying” and described the U.S. military assistance to the country as “the best money we’ve ever spent.”

#4 A senior Taliban commander is boasting that “we will conquer Iran soon”…

The Taliban threatened on Sunday that it could conquer Iran as tensions increase over water disputes between Afghanistan and Iran, leaving at least three people dead.

In a video released by the Taliban, a senior commander in the terrorist organization running Afghanistan warned that the Taliban would fight the Islamic Republic’s Revolutionary Guard “with more passion” than they fought the US forces. He added that the Taliban “will conquer Iran soon if the Taliban’s leaders give the green light.

#5 Israel has doubled the number of attacks on Iranian targets inside Syrian territory in recent months…

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Monday said that he has “doubled the attacks on Iran in Syria” during his several months in office.

Gallant also revealed Tehran’s secret sea war against Israel, presenting new photographic evidence of five different ships it is using to establish another front against the Jewish state.

#6 Hezbollah just conducted major military exercises very close to the border with Israel…

The military exercise was unusual not only because it was made public — nearly 400 people attended, including Hezbollah supporters and several journalists — but also because it was conducted only 12 miles north of the Israeli border, just outside an area where militias are not allowed to operate under a UN Security Council resolution adopted in 2006.

#7 Most Americans don’t realize this, but U.S. troops will soon be deployed in Peru…

Unbeknown, it seems, to most people in Peru and the US (considering the paucity of media coverage in both countries), US military personnel will soon be landing in Peru. The plenary session of Peru’s Congress last Thursday (May 18) authorised the entry of US troops onto Peruvian soil with the ostensible purpose of carrying out “cooperation activities” with Peru’s armed forces and national police.

#8 Violent clashes in Kosovo have resulted in more than two dozen NATO troops being injured…

NATO-led troops and police clashed with protesters in Northern Kosovo Monday amid an ongoing standoff between ethnic Albanian authorities and local ethnic Serbs who ignored warnings not to seize municipality buildings.

The violence comes after Kosovo’s police raided Serb-dominated areas in the region’s north and seized local municipality buildings over the weekend. The demonstrations have led to injuries on both sides, which more than two dozen NATO troops injured.

#9 The U.S. military is building a brand new base in northern Syria.  Apparently the U.S. occupation of large portions of Syrian territory is not going to end any time soon…

The US-led anti-ISIS coalition is building a new military base in Syria’s northern province of Raqqa, The New Arab reported, citing a source close to the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The US backs the SDF and keeps about 900 troops (officially at least) in eastern Syria, allowing the US to control about one-third of Syria’s territory. The report said there are currently about 24 US-led military sites spread throughout eastern Syria.

#10 North Korea is claiming that the U.S. and South Korea have just conducted an “invasion rehearsal”…

The South Korean and U.S. militaries conducted large live-fire drills near the border with North Korea on Thursday, despite the North’s warning that it won’t tolerate what it calls an invasion rehearsal on its doorstep.

The drills, the first of five rounds of live-fire exercises through mid-June, mark 70 years since the establishment of the military alliance between Seoul and Washington. North Korea typically reacts to such major South Korean-U.S. exercises with missile and other weapons tests.

#11 Due to “security concerns”, dozens of “satellite phones for emergency communication” are being issued to members of the U.S. Senate…

Amid growing concerns of security risks to members of Congress, over 50 senators have been issued satellite phones for emergency communication, people familiar with the measures told CBS News. The devices are part of a series of new security measures being offered to senators by the Senate Sergeant at Arms, who took over shortly after the assault on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

The satellite phone technology has been offered to all 100 senators. CBS News has learned at least 50 have accepted the phones, which Senate administrative staff recommend senators keep in close proximity during their travels.

We have never seen such a dramatic measure ever be taken before.

Are they preparing for something? I wish that I knew.

But what I do know is that we are certainly living during a time of “wars and rumors of wars”, and it definitely isn’t going to take much to push us over a line that will never be able to be uncrossed.

But for now, most people in the western world simply are not paying attention to what is going on.

Most of them just assume that our leaders are wise, competent and will be able to keep us out of any sort of nuclear conflict.

When Elon Musk weighed in with a reasonable peace plan suggestion to end the regional conflict between Russia and Ukraine, he was met by a bot army of pro-Ukraine “accounts” and insults from the Ukrainian government. Graham, as one might expect, took to Twitter to chastise Musk:

Suggesting we end the Russian invasion by simply giving Russia parts of Ukraine – after all the suffering – is dumb. It is also an affront to the bravery of the Ukrainians fighting to defend their homeland.

It was an agreement signed by Russia that included protecting Crimea and the Donbas as part of Ukraine. If you want peace in Ukraine — which we ALL do — simply demand Russian honor the boundaries they agreed to in 1994 and withdraw their forces.

While we’re at it, maybe the Congress should revisit the electric vehicle tax credit boondoggle. It is where the credit is now solely benefiting electric vehicle manufacturers who have increased prices equal to the tax credit!

To recap, Graham invoked the Budapest Memorandum, demanded the will of the people of Ukraine be met, and threatened to strip Tesla of tax credits. All in a warmonger’s day’s work. Musk responded:

Musk was being too kind. He has the facts on his side and should have kicked the Senator in his tiny Neo-Con gonads. Musk’s proposal would allow people who want to be part of Russia to be part of Russia. Currently, they are being forced to endure life under one of the most corrupt governments on the planet.

Of all the members of Capitol Hill owned by the Military Industrial Complex, Lindsey Graham is their crown jewel. As ordered, this sitting member of the Senate threatened punitive legislative action for expressing common sense views on a regional conflict. He’s a disgrace.
