After his first election, President Trump arrived in D.C. with Republican majorities in Congress, too.  He expected that the people who had promised to repeal Obamacare for seven years would have a legislative package ready for him to sign into law.  He expected that Republicans who had campaigned on securing the border for four decades would be prepared to do what it takes to achieve that goal for the American people.  His expectations were met with the disappointing reality of squishy Republican backbones and Uniparty backstabbing.

While Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell informed President Trump which of his potential nominees would get Republican support (McConnell’s wife, for instance, would have no problem winning confirmation), House Speaker Paul Ryan told him that there was just no money to build a border wall (because Ryan had already spent trillions supporting Barack Obama’s policy agenda).  Both Republicans took turns publicly laughing at Trump for arriving in D.C. with the misguided belief that the work of government could be anything other than slow.  McConnell and Ryan wasted most of President Trump’s first year in office bickering about how best to dismantle Obamacare before finally throwing up their hands in feigned exasperation after Senator John McCain saved the Democrats’ costly expansion of government-directed medicine with his final “screw you” vote.

On the other hand, McConnell and Ryan took the Russia collusion hoax very seriously.  Although Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Brennan, Jim Comey, and numerous other coup-plotters inside the Intelligence Community had created that fantasy as a mechanism for illegally spying on candidate Trump before his election and as a mechanism for overthrowing President Trump after his inauguration, congressional Republicans treated the matter as if it deserved their utmost attention.  McConnell and Ryan both knew that the allegations against Trump were ridiculous, but they eagerly assisted Democrats in their efforts to paint the president as a Russian spy.  Why?  Because holding Trump’s fate in their hands gave them power over his presidency.

President Trump entered office in 2017 beholden to no one.  No secret billionaires had funded his campaign.  No foreign governments had secretly supported his run for office.  Unlike other politicians who are easily controlled once the Intelligence Community digs up enough dirt from their pasts, President Trump has never had a problem showing the public exactly who he is.  How do you manipulate a man who has few secrets and whose peccadilloes are already widely known?  You make him “Putin’s puppet” and enlist Republican leaders to legitimize the farcical intelligence operation.  With “friends” like McConnell and Ryan, President Trump was surrounded by enemies.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, you can play that phony card only once.  There will not be another round of Uniparty and Intelligence Community hijinks engineered to divide the American people and stifle the MAGA agenda.  The “news” organizations that ran Russia collusion stories for years have exposed themselves as mere propagandists for the State.  The credibility of the media, Intelligence Community, FBI, DOJ, and Uniparty lies in tatters.  The “Trump Train” has left the station, and it’s picking up speed.

Heads must roll.  People who fabricated the Russia collusion hoax must pay a price.  Because nobody ever suffered for inflicting this fraud upon the American people, the worst offenders just continued offending.  We got the fake quid-pro-quo Ukraine impeachment (which was designed to cover up real quid-pro-quo crimes of the Biden Crime Family and other powerful political-crime families in D.C. that rake in a great deal of money from foreign regimes).  We got the J6 psy-op in which demonstrators protesting for free and fair elections were condemned as “insurrectionists.”  We got the unending lawfare from Democrat prosecutors and Merrick Garland’s Department of (in)Justice designed to imprison Trump, his friends, and his voters.  These crimes against the American people will not stop until the perpetrators are brought to justice.  Conspirators, fraudsters, and government employees who used their offices to persecute innocent Americans for their political beliefs must be held accountable.

While President Trump and his new administration sort through the nest of vipers in D.C., they will keep the guilty preoccupied.  It is difficult to respond to the president’s constant moves when you’re spending fifteen hundred dollars an hour on legal representation.  Expect President Trump to show Establishment Republicans just how much can be accomplished in Washington when the overarching command is simple: Let’s get s— done.

Illegal immigration, inflation, crime, economic malaise, bureaucratic regulation, “woke” indoctrination, censorship, and the growing likelihood of WWIII are the consequential issues that broadened and strengthened President Trump’s MAGA coalition in 2024.  Americans feel that their country is vulnerable and in decline.  They overwhelmingly believe that their country is on the wrong track.  They are desperate for the federal government to take their worries seriously.  With their votes, they have spoken loudly.  President Trump has been given a mandate to execute on his policy initiatives and to prove to the American people that their voices have been heard.

President Trump will give the Deep State a magic show.  As is his wont, he will move fast, change directions, and keep his opponents off guard.  He will juggle numerous balls in the air and still surprise his adversaries with a rabbit from under his hat.  Pay attention.

President Trump is serious about mass deportations.  The American people cannot be made to feel unsafe in their own communities.  Expect to see the Obama-Biden handouts for illegal aliens come to an end.  Expect to see violent criminals rounded up.  Expect to see border security reactivated.  Expect to see the completion of a border wall.  And expect international cartels currently in control of the U.S. border to be designated as terrorist organizations.  The old way of doing things is over.  Those who have been destroying America with fentanyl, human-trafficking, and organized crime have no place to hide.  Their days are numbered.

Bureaucratic regulations operate like hidden taxes that increase the cost of necessary purchases, such as food and fuel.  When agencies issue new rules, they steal liberty from the American people and empower themselves with additional authorities.  Expect President Trump to send in the equivalent of several Special Operations Forces to wage war on the administrative state.  Their mission is to slash red tape, battle the bureaucratic Leviathan, liberate markets from undue restraints, and return freedom to the American people.

Expect President Trump to return to tariffs as his preferred tool for battling international foes while increasing economic opportunities for America’s middle class.  Wall Street hates tariffs because multinational companies do not benefit from “America First” policies.  Main Street, however, benefits greatly.  When the cost of doing business overseas is greater than the cost of producing goods in America, domestic manufacturing rises.  When foreign regimes respond with their own tariffs, it becomes more expensive for American-produced food and energy to be exported.  Those supplies stay home, and domestic prices decrease.  Expect President Trump to accomplish through deregulation and tariffs something that the “experts” say is impossible: deflation in the United States.

President Trump sees America’s natural resources and the American people’s unmatched ingenuity as the country’s greatest weapons.  He will unleash domestic productivity and, by doing so, use the nation’s economic strengths as both sword and shield against foreign enemies.  The rabbit under his hat is the prospect of global peace.

MAGA-Hat-Wearing NFL Superstar Nick Bosa Fined $11,255 https://americanconservativemovement.com/maga-hat-wearing-nfl-superstar-nick-bosa-fined-11255/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/maga-hat-wearing-nfl-superstar-nick-bosa-fined-11255/#respond Sat, 09 Nov 2024 22:46:17 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/maga-hat-wearing-nfl-superstar-nick-bosa-fined-11255/ The National Football League fined edge rusher Nick Bosa $11,255 for displaying a Trump hat during a post-game interview on October 27, just ahead of the presidential election.

According to NBC Sports:

Rule 5, Section 4, Article 8 of the NFL rulebook states that “throughout the period on game-day that a player is visible to the stadium and television audience (including in pregame warm-ups, in the bench area, and during postgame interviews in the locker room or on the field), players are prohibited from wearing, displaying, or otherwise conveying personal messages either in writing or illustration, unless such message has been approved in advance by the League office.”

Bosa had said previously that if the fine came, it would be “well worth it.”

“I don’t think my position on speaking about it’s gonna change,” he said. “Clearly, the nation spoke, and we got what we got.”

Bosa makes an average of $34 million per year, including bonuses.

College Football Kicker Scores a Touchdown, Celebrates With MAGA Message Under Jersey https://americanconservativemovement.com/college-football-kicker-scores-a-touchdown-celebrates-with-maga-message-under-jersey/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/college-football-kicker-scores-a-touchdown-celebrates-with-maga-message-under-jersey/#respond Sun, 27 Oct 2024 12:36:02 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/college-football-kicker-scores-a-touchdown-celebrates-with-maga-message-under-jersey/ It isn’t often that football kickers score touchdowns, but Texas Tech’s Reese Burkhardt did just that on Saturday. He used the rare opportunity to display a handwritten message on the t-shirt under his jersey: “Trump 24 MAGA”.

Watch:

According to Fox News:

Texas Tech kicker Reese Burkhardt had a career moment Saturday when he scored a touchdown on a fake field goal, then gave a shoutout to former President Trump.

After taking a surprise pitch and racing around TCU defenders to get into the end zone in the second quarter, Burkhardt pulled his jersey up to reveal a shirt that said “Trump 24 MAGA.”

Texas Tech ended up losing a 35-34 heartbreaker to TCU, but Burkhardt has been the talk of the game. Trump supporters have praised the senior kicker, while liberals have criticized him and the program on social media.

The excitement level is high for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris’ campaign appears to be imploding.

GOP Establishment’s Days Are Numbered https://americanconservativemovement.com/gop-establishments-days-are-numbered/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/gop-establishments-days-are-numbered/#respond Sun, 28 Apr 2024 12:54:30 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=203029 (Daily Signal)—The Republican establishment doesn’t know it yet, but last weekend was a watershed moment for their party.

On April 20, House Republican leadership facilitated passage of a foreign-aid package that sends roughly $60 billion to Ukraine, $26 billion to Israel and Gaza, $8 billion to Taiwan, and exactly zero dollars to the southern border. The bill has since passed the Democrat-led Senate and was signed by President Joe Biden.

The vote will be remembered for the choice Republican leadership made to brazenly reject its own voters in favor of the “uniparty” in Washington, D.C.

In a move that can only be described as “McConnell-esque,” House Republican leadership teamed up with Democrats to overrule the position of their own conference, their voters, and the will of the American people.

Democrats on the House Rules Committee made an unprecedented move by crossing the party line and overruling Republican opposition in committee, signaling an end to the typically Democrat versus Republican battle and the beginning of the conservative versus “uniparty” war.

The disconnect between “the Swamp” and small-town America could not be more profound. How can a political party be so tone-deaf to the plight of the everyday Americans suffering under inflation, crime, and societal rot?

How can a Republican-led House prioritize the borders of another country over our own border, even as American citizens are killed by illegal immigrants?

How can so-called fiscally responsible Republicans sign off on what is now $174 billion in direct Ukraine aid with a national debt of $34 trillion—more than $250,000 for every American household?

And how can House Speaker Mike Johnson, who had pledged repeatedly that no foreign-aid legislation would advance without first securing the border, so quickly be steamrolled by the Establishment?

In their desire to send billions of dollars to a conflict that our commander-in-chief has still, to this day, offered no plan for winning, the GOP’s leadership not only spurned their party’s own supporters but overlooked an opportunity to appeal to independent Americans frustrated by both political parties.

According to recent polling that The Heritage Foundation conducted with RMG Research, an overwhelming three out of four swing voters opposed sending any additional aid to Ukraine without also allocating funds for our own border. A majority (56%) of swing voters in key battleground states thought that the $113 billion the United States had already committed to Ukraine was too much.

The entire Heritage enterprise fought for over a year and a half on this issue. Heritage Action for America engaged our millions of grassroots members to voice their concerns to their representatives. Scholars at The Heritage Foundation presented a national security alternative package that included limited military aid to Ukraine but made border security the central focus. In an unprecedented move, we even issued a “key vote” on our legislative scorecard against Speaker Johnson’s convoluted rule, which was a gimmick that lowered the threshold to a simple majority (not a supermajority under suspension) and provided political cover for members to vote against individual pieces without jeopardizing the package.

Powerful interests were aligned against us, however, and we lost on the day. Though we lost this battle, all signs indicate that we are winning the war for the soul of the GOP. A majority of Republicans (112) voted against Ukraine aid on April 20. Younger and newer members are particularly fed up with leadership’s conciliatory approach and manipulative tactics that have led us to this point. The average age of the Senate Republicans who voted “nay” is 59, while the average age of those who voted “yea” is 66. The average “nay” vote has been in office since just 2016, while the average “yea” vote has been in Washington since 2010. The same dynamic was true with the recent $1.2 trillion omnibus spending bill.

This generational shift can be ignored by the “uniparty,” but it’s not going away. Newer, younger representatives want a choice, not an echo; and increasingly, they’re adopting a populist form of conservatism that champions “government of the people, by the people, and for the people” above all else.

In other words, they want a GOP that puts America first, something a government in any healthy republic would do. They want a GOP that acknowledges the reality that America is a nation in decline but is not yet too late to save.

As Ronald Reagan said in his 1980 address accepting the presidential nomination at the Republican National Convention, “For those who have abandoned hope, we’ll restore hope and we’ll welcome them into a great national crusade to make America great again!”

And that brings us to the importance of this year’s election.

In 2016, despite staunch opposition from the GOP leadership, Donald Trump rejected the Washington consensus and initiated a generational realignment in American politics. If the conservative movement leans into the politics and policies President Donald Trump made successful, the American people will again have the opportunity this fall to accelerate a new consensus in Washington, D.C. This is why I remain optimistic about the future of our great nation.

The GOP establishment’s actions this past week portend the end of the GOP establishment, not its survival. Conservatives will win the soul of the GOP, and with it, the hearts of the American people.

Gaetz Says Johnson Speakership Proves ‘MAGA Is Ascendant’ in GOP, ‘Swamp Is on the Run’ https://americanconservativemovement.com/gaetz-says-johnson-speakership-proves-maga-is-ascendant-in-gop-swamp-is-on-the-run/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/gaetz-says-johnson-speakership-proves-maga-is-ascendant-in-gop-swamp-is-on-the-run/#comments Thu, 26 Oct 2023 14:33:15 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=197970 (The Epoch Times)—Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) on Wednesday declared the election of Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.) as House speaker a sign of the strength of the “MAGA movement” in the GOP and the waning power of the “swamp.”

After a three-week leadership void in the House, the GOP conference chose Mr. Johnson as their speaker nominee; he went on to win 220 votes in the first floor ballot on Wednesday.

Mr. Gaetz, who led the motion to oust Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), the former speaker, touted Mr. Johnson’s victory as exemplary of the growing power of the “MAGA movement” on Capitol Hill.

“The swamp is on the run. MAGA is ascendant. If you don’t think that moving from Kevin McCarthy to MAGA Mike Johnson shows the ascendance of this movement and where the power in the Republican Party truly lies, then you’re not paying attention,” Mr. Gaetz declared during an interview on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast on Wednesday.

The Floridian congressman shed light on the internal party deliberations that led to Mr. Johnon’s election following the short-lived race of Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.), who withdrew his name hours after receiving the GOP nomination on Tuesday.

Mr. Johnson was runner-up to Mr. Emmer, who was the third speaker nominee after Reps. Steve Scalise (R-La.) and Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) failed to garner the needed support.

Mr. Gaetz said that following Mr. Emmer’s withdrawal, Mr. McCarthy was the sole GOP member to object to a request by Rep. Marcus Molinaro (R-N.Y.), a freshman congressman, for unanimous consent to waive the rules and take a non-binding poll on whether Mr. Johnson “could be our speaker nominee.”

Mr. McCarthy’s objection, in Mr. Gaetz’s view, was evidence that the former speaker “was worried that there was going to be this great, unifying moment” of rallying behind Mr. Johnson that would hurt Mr. McCarthy’s chances of being reelected, so “he scuttled the unifying moment.”

Mr. McCarthy had not put his name in the ring to run again for the speakership. The Epoch Times contacted Mr. McCarthy’s office for comment.

Gaetz Says He ‘Wasn’t the Force for Chaos’

Mr. Gaetz said that Mr. McCarthy sought write-in votes, nominating himself. However, he received only 33, according to Mr. Gaetz.

“So, they flame out terribly,” Mr. Gaetz said. “Mike Johnson’s gaining momentum. Ultimately, McCarthy gets 43 to vote for him on a secret ballot. But Mike Johnson gets a majority.”

Mr. Johnson then requested a roll-call vote, said Mr. Gaetz. “So that those 43 would have to announce themselves as being for a candidate who wasn’t even running, instead of a unifying force like Mike Johnson,” he added.

“And when we called for the roll call, do you know how many people voted for Kevin McCarthy? Zero,” said Mr. Gaetz.

Mr. Gaetz accused the former Californian speaker of attempting to sabotage the chances of the last four speaker nominees, including Mr. Scalise, Mr. Jordan, Mr. Emmer, and Mr. Johnson, while maneuvering in the shadows to be reelected himself.

“Everyone in the room knew at that moment that I wasn’t the force for chaos; I wasn’t causing disunity; that for the last three weeks, the reason the House of Representatives has been paralyzed is because, for his own selfish gain, Kevin McCarthy was sabotaging the candidacy of anyone else because he was plotting a return,” Mr. Gaetz charged.

Mr. Johnson received a prolonged standing ovation from fellow Republicans upon his nomination by Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.).

Mr. Gaetz hailed Mr. Johnson’s election to the speakership as a victory over “the swamp,” the term made popular by former President Donald Trump, the creator of the MAGA movement, which stands for Make American Great Again, his 2016 campaign slogan.

“They are crying, they are hand-wringing, they are bed-wetting over on K Street because we have an honorable, righteous man who is about to take this position. He’s going to do great things for the country,” Mr. Gaetz said, referring to “the swamp.”

Mr. Gaetz, who has been “seat mates” with Mr. Johnson on the House Judiciary Committee for seven years, praised the newly-minted speaker.

“He is sharp. He will be as respected in the homes of our most meaningful, righteous, and patriotic donors as he will [be] at the rallies with our most enthusiastic and meaningful activists,” Mr. Gaetz said.

Mr. Johnson’s election was praised by the former speaker nominees, Mr. Emmer and Mr. Scalise.

“I know Mike will keep our majority united as we continue to deliver on the commitments we’ve made to our constituents,” Mr. Emmer said.

Mr. Scalise praised Mr. Johnson’s commitment “to things bigger than himself.”

Mr. Johnson, 51, is an attorney and former radio host. He carried a Bible when he accepted the gavel on Wednesday.

In his first speech as speaker, he said the House is “ready to get to work again” to solve the problems at home and abroad affecting Americans.

“Our mission here is to serve you well, to restore the people’s faith in this House, in this great and essential institution,” he said.

Beyond the business building, television shows, and being President of the United States, he is also a world-class nickname bestower.

Sleep Joe. Lyin’ Ted. Crooked Hillary. Pocahontas. That last one has always held a special place in my heart.

He has a new nickname, though this time it’s not being directed at his political foes. He made a nickname for us, his supporters. What does he call us?

MAGADONIANS!

Okay, so it may take some getting used to for some.

Whether you find it clever or disrespectful likely depends on whether you’re a Trump supporter or not. To his fans, he can often do no wrong, especially with nicknames. To supporters of his opponents, nothing impresses them.

His fans generally loved it:

For Democrats, ‘MAGA Republican’ Label Is Designed to Paralyze Opposition https://americanconservativemovement.com/for-democrats-maga-republican-label-is-designed-to-paralyze-opposition/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/for-democrats-maga-republican-label-is-designed-to-paralyze-opposition/#comments Wed, 05 Apr 2023 00:06:38 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=191487 These days, it seems like every top Democrat has to work the term “MAGA Republican” into their messages. It’s no coincidence.

Their party first deployed the term in mid-2022 as part of a midterm strategy that aimed to activate voters outraged about the Supreme Court’s abortion decision, among other issues.

“The terms ‘MAGA Republicans’ and ‘Extreme MAGA Republicans’ were created by the Democrats along with some never Trump Republicans in an attempt to isolate Trump supporters as being outside the mainstream of the American political process,” said Richard Manning, president of the Republican-aligned Americans for Limited Government, in an April 3 email to The Epoch Times.

Others argue that the talk of “MAGA Republicans” is, in actuality, unifying and necessary.

“The term ‘MAGA Republicans’—as used by President [Joe] Biden, Chuck Schumer, and other prominent politicians—does not aim to divide the country as many critics claim,” said David Carlucci, a Democratic strategist, in an April 4 email to The Epoch Times.

“Instead, it is meant to rally all Americans regardless of party affiliation against an ideology that has sought to dismantle our democratic institutions.”

Biden Leads and Some Republicans Follow

Biden helped to normalize, and step up, rhetoric aimed at “MAGA Republicans.”

As early as August 2022, the commander-in-chief took aim at Trump loyalists in the GOP using the memorable “MAGA Republicans” branding.

He didn’t stop there. He claimed that the “philosophy” behind support for former President Donald Trump amounted to a kind of “semi-fascism.”

That language met with plaudits from Never Trumper Bill Kristol. Kristol, an influential early advocate of the Iraq War, is the son of the late “godfather of neoconservatism,” the ex-Marxist Irving Kristol.

“You know what you call a movement that’s semi-OK with violence against its opponents? Semi-fascist,” Kristol wrote on Twitter in late October 2022, just before the midterm election.

In the judgment of one anonymous GOP strategist who spoke with The Epoch Times, that sort of labeling “adds fuel to the fire of partisan divisions in this country.”

Yet Democrats’ relatively strong performance last November may have convinced them the approach worked.

“If you want to see the effectiveness of ‘MAGA Republican’ rhetoric, look no further than the 2022 midterms where several ultra-vocal MAGA Republicans like Kari Lake, Dr. Oz, and Herschel Walker lost their elections,” said Carlucci, the Democratic strategist.

Carlucci cited December 2022 polling from Vanderbilt University showing that only 34 percent of Republicans “say they are ‘more of a supporter of the Make America Great Again, or MAGA, movement’ than they are a ‘supporter of the Republican Party.’”

The anonymous GOP strategist acknowledged that some of that language seeks to link a range of Republicans to “the most unpopular figures on the right.”

Andrew Cuff, communications director at the political agency Knight Takes Rook, thinks Democrats’ “MAGA Republicans” tactic succeeded thanks in part to the leadership of some top Republicans.

“Tiny minorities of establishment Republican leaders approved and encouraged these attacks, lending credence to the notion that feckless Republicans who have given up fighting are more ‘sane’ and ‘civil’ than the ‘extreme’ majority of their party.

“It’s abundantly clear that the GOP establishment prefers the role of controlled opposition under Democrat rule than to be dislodged from power in their own party,” he told The Epoch Times in an April 3 interview.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) in February accused “MAGA Republicans” of contributing to a lack of GOP unity—an expression of concern that is difficult to take at face value, but one wholly in keeping with a wedge strategy.

For now, backing for Trump among Republicans seems to be on the rise, if recent polls on the upcoming 2024 contest are to be believed.

The upshot: Biden’s speeches still target “MAGA Republicans.” In one March 15 speech, he opined that “MAGA Republicans” are “different.”

“This is not your father’s Republican Party,” Biden added.

MAGA and ‘Extremism’

Talk of MAGA Republicans’ “extremism” has also escalated.

The White House’s March 27 response to Republicans’ recent budget proposal asserts it is the product not merely of “MAGA Republicans” but of “extreme MAGA Congressional Republicans.”

In a March 24 press release, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) referenced “Extreme MAGA Republicans” no fewer than 13 times.

“Extreme MAGA Republicans want to ban books on the Holocaust. Ban books on the Holocaust. Extreme MAGA Republicans want to ban books on Martin Luther King Jr. Extreme MAGA Republicans want to ban books on the LGBTQ journey in the United States of America,” Jeffries said.

“Most folks don’t view all these Republicans as extremist,” the anonymous GOP strategist told The Epoch Times.

“This ideology should not speak for the entire party, but with all the noise caused by figures like Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and of course former President Trump, it is particularly concerning that MAGA extremism will become the overwhelming voice of the Republican Party,” said Democratic strategist Carlucci.

“The use of the word “extreme” continues to serve as an effective slur against Republican candidates,” said Cuff.

“Extremism,” he said, is a “national security trigger word.”

Cuff tied that rhetoric to Biden’s Sept. 1, 2022, “Dark Brandon” speech, which saw him deliver remarks against a blood-red backdrop while flanked by U.S. Marines.

“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” Biden said in his remarks that day.

“He tied it [extremism] with the MAGA label in order to connect it with President Trump and his MAGA movement,” Cuff said.

He noted that it followed the administration’s actions on parent protesters at school boards and an FBI memo targeting “radical-traditionalist Catholic ideology.”

“The words are chosen very carefully,” Cuff said.

The neocon ex-Republican Kristol was, if anything, ahead of the curve when it came to alleged “extremism” among his opponents.

“If the term ‘MAGA Republicans’ works, fine. But wouldn’t it be easier just to call them extremists? Why the ‘MAGA’ complication?” he asked in a July 1, 2022 Tweet, responding to a Politico story on Democrats’ use of the “MAGA Republicans” label in their midterm messaging.

MAGA-Baiting Across Ticket

MAGA-baiting has takers at lower echelons of the Democratic Party too.

During her unsuccessful campaign for reelection as Chicago’s mayor, Lori Lightfoot accused opponent Paul Vallas of having “MAGA Republican ways.”

Even closer to the ground, members of the Chicago City Council’s Progressive Reform Caucus, which includes numerous open socialists, referred in scathing terms to Vallas’ backing from what they called “MAGA Republicans.”

Legacy media outlets—even those outside the United States—are also echoing the “extreme MAGA Republican” rhetoric that has been issued by leading Democrats.

A March 4 U.S. politics article in the Guardian, a UK paper, claimed that one of Trump’s speeches at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) was aimed at “MAGA Republicans.”

A November 2022 analysis in the Washington Post asked, “Can MAGA Republicans learn to love democracy again?”

In January of this year, Jennifer Rubin—like Kristol, a Bush II-era neoconservatism who distanced herself from the right after Trump’s election—opined in the Washington Post that Republicans have embraced the ways of “extreme MAGA Republicans” in the months since their mediocre midterm performance.

Pushback Begins

House Republicans targeted by the language of “extremism,” “semi-fascism,” and more have pushed back.

“We are addressed as MAGA extremists, extreme MAGA Republicans, and I would like to make just a clarification point—it’s Ultra MAGA. That’s what we prefer,” Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) said in Congress several weeks ago.

Just days ago, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) accused Biden of having “functionally gaslit” Trump’s indictment by “saying Extreme MAGA Republicans were dangerous.”

“It’s Biden’s government that we are currently investigating for super-charging the notion of domestic violent extremism,” he said in an interview with Laura Ingraham on Fox News.

SpaceX founder and Twitter CEO Elon Musk has also questioned Biden’s rhetoric. In a March 27 Tweet, the president attributed opposition to one policy he supports to “extreme MAGA House Republicans.”

“Is it accurate to refer to those making the proposal as ‘extreme MAGA,’” Musk wrote in response.

He tagged the site’s “Community Notes” account, which often corrects and adds context to Twitter posts.

Carlucci thinks the apparent resonance of Democrats’ “extreme MAGA Republicans” rhetoric should serve as a wake-up call for Republicans.

“The midterms tell us that independent voters are fed up with MAGA ideology and that the Republican Party should reclaim its narrative from its extreme side,” said Carlucci.

Cuff believes the language hints at a broader campaign of repression from the Left.

“Ultimately, the goal is to treat the entire Republican base as domestic extremists, extralegally surveil and censor them, and instill the mass fear of arrest and repression [to which many prominent Republicans, including former President Trump, have already been subjected],” Cuff said.

One thing seems clear: extreme rhetoric, including accusations of extremism, triggers a reaction.

What if MAGA Shrugged? https://americanconservativemovement.com/what-if-maga-shrugged/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/what-if-maga-shrugged/#respond Sun, 04 Dec 2022 20:19:42 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=185911 Congressional lizards posing as “leaders” met with China Joe in the Roosevelt Room of the White House, and the wretched gerontocracy that rules over us looked happy as clams to be reunited after the political theater of the midterms.  Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Kevin McCarthy, and Turtle McConnell all sported sly, devilish grins that suggested they got exactly what they wanted in last month’s elections.

In undermining MAGA candidates, Turtle’s iron-fisted control over his Republican minority remains absolute.  Up-Chuck and Child-Sniffer Joe still hold the Senate and retain the power to ram more lawless federal judges through confirmation (with Lindsey Graham’s obedient assistance, of course).  Middling McCarthy has such a weak House majority that he will end up playing so much ball with Democrats in the name of “compromise” that “selling out” will continue being Republicans’ favorite sport.  And wicked witch San Fran Nan gets to booze off into the sunset, looking like a winner whose political expertise is so uncanny that she nearly managed to keep her majority during a foretold “red tsunami” election when roughly 70% of the country has consistently demanded a drastic change of course.

The “woke” Marxist puppeteers actually dictating policy from the Oval Office are so giddy with what they have managed to pull off with this new voting system of anonymous and unsecured mail-in ballots that they actually announced “We the People” as the official White House theme for holiday decorations this year — a fairly direct kidney punch against the broad MAGA coalition of voters who use that appellation from the Constitution’s Preamble to rally support for taking back the country from the China-appeasing, World Economic Forum–devoted, anti–free speech communists long in control of the bureaucratic levers of government.  Sorry, “We the People,” only atheists, oligarchs, globalists, and commies welcome at the White House for now!

Watching the Uniparty’s cabal of corruptocrats flaunt their shared victory is downright nauseating.  It’s such a kick in the teeth to see the same people we’ve been trying to cashier for over a decade still in charge.  Even after a Tea Party revolt against Obama’s socialist overreach that ended up securing strong Republican congressional control (before corporate RINO Paul Ryan and the Turtle Tyrant threw those victories away), the election of MAGA Warrior Donald Trump in 2016, and a 2020 election turnout that brought over ten million new voters into MAGA’s ranks, the same swamp creatures who ran roughshod over the stinking, rotten system back then still manipulate the decaying, rancid system yet today.  Uff da!  This is what a hamster on a wheel must feel like.  No wonder our Tribe of Totalitarian Elders looked so spitefully smug for the cameras.  The wishes of the people have been crushed and discarded once again.

While our Establishment Club masters shared gloating glances, I couldn’t help but think of a scene from the movie version of Chuck Palahniuk’s Fight Club, when Brad Pitt has the police commissioner in a compromising position and warns him: “Look, the people you are after are the people you depend on.  We cook your meals, we haul your trash, we connect your calls, we drive your ambulances, we guard you while you sleep.  Do not f— with us.”  Contrary to the official propaganda disseminated from the State-controlled press, MAGA is America — a grand coalition of hardworking laborers, parents, veterans, police officers, firefighters, small business–owners, health care professionals, and religious faithful from all backgrounds, cultural affiliations, and walks of life.

MAGA patriots do the lifting, digging, building, and shaping that require sweat, brawn, knowhow, and skill.  They are the first ones to run into peril — whether the danger be on the battlefield, across the street, or in the neighborhood park.  They instinctually sacrifice themselves for others because they value life, pursue virtue, and reject sin.  In other words, they guard America while others sleep!

That Dementia Joe and Turtle McConnell have joined forces with the Deep State Leviathan to paint America-loving warriors, workers, and patriots as “domestic extremists” feels like an absurd strategic miscalculation that might one day be remembered as the mother of all political backfires.  What could MAGA voters have done differently over the last fifteen years to express their opposition to Washington’s policies more civilly?

MAGA voters pushed back against Obama’s encroaching Big Government socialism by electing overwhelming Republican majorities.  What did they get in return?  King Barack and his wingman Attorney General Eric Holder repurposed George Bush’s and Dick Cheney’s PATRIOT Act into a domestic surveillance system targeting conservative Americans — many of whom had risked life and limb defending the country overseas.

MAGA voters bypassed the traditionally compromised slew of Republican candidates in 2016 and sent a complete outsider to the White House to clean up the system.  Did the Uniparty respect the will of the people?  Of course not.  Establishment Republicans worked with Establishment Democrats and the Intelligence Community to frame President Trump first as a Russian spy, then as the impeachment fall guy for Joe Biden’s Ukrainian quid-pro-quo crimes, and finally as an insurrectionist committing sedition against the United States.  While the Uniparty and Department of (in)Justice have conspired for years to overthrow Trump from office and send him to prison, they gallingly label him an “autocrat” and “threat to democracy”!

MAGA voters came out in full force in 2020, sending President Trump’s vote totals to new heights for a sitting president, and when lawless mail-in voting and suspicious ballot dumps flipped crucial battleground states days after the election, they chose to exercise their constitutional rights to petition their government for redress of grievances.  How did the tyrants in D.C. respond?  They farcically treated the whole January 6 affair as a terrorist attack orchestrated with intent to overthrow the Republic, even though none of the pro-Second Amendment protesters inside or outside of the Capitol brandished weapons or remotely sought to topple the United States.

For nearly two years, hundreds of peaceful MAGA Americans have been imprisoned in a pre-trial purgatory, while the Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioters who orchestrated murder, mayhem, and the worst property damage in American history during the summer of 2020 were quickly released, if they were even arrested.  And while government-directed social media platforms actively support Antifa and BLM political goals in some oxymoronic pursuit of “social justice,” MAGA Americans are openly censored online and purged from the public square.  Forget a two-tiered justice system.  There is no justice system left — just the brute machinery of political persecution administered to torture and dispirit critics of the State.

So MAGA voters have tried electing Republican majorities, electing complete outsiders, protesting, and speaking loudly — and for their peaceful efforts, they have had Republican backstabbers betray them repeatedly, their legitimately elected president fraudulently targeted as part of a running coup d’état, their assembled protests infiltrated by the FBI, their friends hunted down as “terrorists,” their elections manipulated, their free speech censored, and the installed president of the United States declaring war upon them.  At some point, a rational person might wonder how much more MAGA Americans will endure before they simply “walk away.”

As a clever commenter suggested, maybe it is not time to “ctrl+alt+delete” the totalitarian State, but to “ctrl+Galt+delete” the “Great Reset” and let the Marxist globalists do the heavy lifting from here on out.  Let them fight the wars, police the streets, put out the fires, dig the holes, work the dirty jobs, and build all the things that keep the “woke” feeling safe and comfortable enough to call us “racists,” “clingers,” “bigots,” and “rubes.”  What if MAGA Americans altogether and all at once simply said, “No more”; shrugged their shoulders; and let everything fall down?  What would happen then?

Will Biden’s Speech Spark a Civil War or a Revolution? https://americanconservativemovement.com/will-bidens-speech-spark-a-civil-war-or-a-revolution/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/will-bidens-speech-spark-a-civil-war-or-a-revolution/#comments Fri, 02 Sep 2022 07:46:28 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=179921

During a televised, prime-time speech Thursday night, Joe Biden declared war on “MAGA Republicans.” He didn’t use the word “war,” but his rhetoric was the most divisive we have ever heard from a U.S. President. He didn’t go after his political opponents as his predecessors often did. Instead, he went after the people who support his biggest political opponent and by doing so declared a de facto civil war.

That’s not hyperbole. Responses from both the left and right have been as one would expect from such a speech. The left, hungry for some semblance of a rallying cry or perceived victory after over a year-and-a-half of massive political failures, viewed this speech as the rallying cry to go after America First patriots. The right, which received the full force of direct insults from our supposed Commander-in-Chief, has been reloaded with righteous indignation. We were attacked and we’re preparing for the attacks to get worse now.

This could be the beginning of the end for the United States of America. That is not hyperbole, either. The globalist elites clearly instructed the White House to unleash dispensable Joe Biden, putting words on a teleprompter that could spark the implosion they desperately want. His handlers were instructed to juice him up, make him sound angry, and give him enough stimulants to keep his energy high throughout.

Their purpose is to begin the controlled demolition of this nation. They are trying to either spark violence from the political right or, more likely, to set the stage for near-future false flag attacks that will be blamed on “MAGA Republicans.” This is the most dangerous example of a Hegelian Dialectic that we’ve ever witnessed in this nation.

We have two choices: Watch it all unfold or launch a revolution. It really comes down to whether there will be a civil war or a revolutionary war, and yes, they are very different. The powers-that-be want civil war. That would pit brother versus brother, left versus right. A revolutionary war would pit the people against a tyrannical government. We want to see the latter but we much prepare for the former.

On today’s episode of The JD Rucker Show, I dove into this topic and defined the difference between the two possible futures for America. Before I get into that in more detail, let’s go through some responses on Twitter by rightly upset America First patriots:

Jesse Kelly: Really doesn’t matter if you can or can’t see it, but this is how every communist dictator in history has talked. Verbatim.

https://twitter.com/JesseKellyDC/status/1565492142675558402

Kari Lake: “We are the UNITED States of America.” Says the most DIVISIVE leader in American history.

Catturd: Joe Biden’s Satanic speech tonight is the biggest backfire I’ve ever seen.

Trish Regan: Biden effectively issued a declaration of WAR against HALF THE COUNTRY tonight. His inflammatory rhetoric was deliberate. He hopes to INCREASE division ahead of elections. It’s disgusting, it’s manipulative…AND it’s dangerous.

Richard Grenell: Joe Biden controls the House, the Senate and the White House (Big tech, the legacy media, the NGOs, the universities and Hollywood) but blames MAGA Republicans for his problems.

https://twitter.com/RichardGrenell/status/1565556721266745344

Jenna Ellis: This speech tonight is grounds for impeachment.

Benny Johnson: Joe Biden called half the country cancer tonight. Treated them like sewer rats. Less than people – “Traitors.” Why? Because they don’t support his political party. Joe did this by yelling like a madman in front of a blood-red militant background. Joe Biden is a fascist.

Lauren Boebert: Never before has a President shown such hatred for his fellow Americans.

Lavern Spicer: Can we get a copy of Biden’s speech in the original German?

https://twitter.com/lavern_spicer/status/1565500514867060736

Christina Pushaw: We are in the American version of the late Brezhnev era. “Led” by a doddering, paranoid, angry fool with aspirations to be a dictator and a sprawling unaccountable bureaucracy all too willing to prop him up.

Liz Wheeler: This is the most divisive, evil speech I’ve ever heard from a POTUS. Does Biden think Republicans will suddenly becomes leftists… because Biden calls them racist, bigots & terrorists? Do you have any idea what it feels like to be falsely accused? This is a wild miscalculation.

Ted Cruz: Tonight, Joe Biden vilified millions of Americans in a divisive & angry speech that was detached from the reality of his political failures. He isn’t actually interested in restoring the soul of the nation, he’s only interested pitting his fellow Americans against one another.

Brandon Straka: This is like watching Hitler speak.

Allie Beth Stuckey: CNN edited the red to hot pink, but I guarantee there will be pieces tomorrow about how conservatives photoshopped the pink to look red.

Civil War or Revolution?

As I’ve said on multiple shows recently, civil war is exactly what the globalist elites want. They need America to be weakened or destroyed in order to realize their goals of fully ushering in The Great Reset across the globe, and they don’t care whether we’re around to be a part in it or not. They just want us out of the way.

Civil war is the easiest way to achieve this. As I’ve said in the recent past, we must avoid civil war at all costs but we cannot dismiss it as a possibility. As smart people of the past have said, “Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.”

In the ideal scenario for the globalist elites, some America First patriots commit acts of domestic terrorism in response to the Mar-a-Lago raid, a future arrest of Donald Trump, or even this divisive speech by Joe Biden. We must not take the bait. Unfortunately, the powers-that-be have rigged the game and will likely initiate a false flag attack to blame on “MAGA Republicans.”

This is why Biden’s speech was so important to them. They NEEDED this speech to set the stage for whatever is next. Now, they have the seeds planted to suspend disbelief. A good chunk of Americans are sheep being led to the slaughter, so they’ll buy the narrative that “MAGA Republicans” are to be blamed. They’ll suspend disbelief and move forward against us. This is why we need to act quickly.

It’s time for a revolution. We have to start acting like our own government is out to get us because they are. It would be impossible for us to win an actual kinetic war against the massive forces arrayed against us which is why our only recourse outside of prayer is to get as actively involved in the information war as possible. We need to spread the word and convince people, left or right, that now is the time to do what most consider to be impossible: Stand against our own powerful government.

It can only be done by the masses. Small pockets of resistance will not lead to a proper revolution. People often get scared by the very word “revolution,” just as they did when a tiny minority of patriots wanted to fight back against the British ahead of the American Revolution. But at this point we have no other choice. They’re going to keep coming after us. They’re going to make things worse and worse until we push back and say enough.

Thankfully, this revolution does not need to be kinetic. We fight through civil disobedience, lawsuits, protests, and ringing the alarm bells as loudly as possible. Everyone must be made to understand that the Biden-Harris regime is not on the side of the American people. Those we reach do not have to be MAGA-hat-wearing Trump supporters, though they’ll obviously be the easiest to convince. Everyone must be talked to and an effort must be made to convince them that the federal government is out to control every American citizen. Those who are compliant with or even giddy about being told what to do by federal tyrants will not be safe. They’ll just be fed to the lions last.

This message is not an easy one to deliver, but we must try. The alternative is to head for the hills, and while that might not be a terrible idea I cannot willingly abandon the masses without trying to preserve the foundation of this nation. It may be futile, but we owe it to those who sacrificed before us to try to keep this nation from imploding.

If the globalists get their way, we’re all doomed. They’ve backed us into a corner. We can either lay down and hope someone does something, or we can do something about it ourselves.

Regime Spoxidiot Karine Jean-Pierre Says Actions of “MAGA Republicans” Are the “Definition of Fascism” https://americanconservativemovement.com/regime-spoxidiot-karine-jean-pierre-says-actions-of-maga-republicans-are-the-definition-of-fascism/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/regime-spoxidiot-karine-jean-pierre-says-actions-of-maga-republicans-are-the-definition-of-fascism/#comments Fri, 26 Aug 2022 23:21:17 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=179431 When Joe Biden invoked “semi-fascism” to describe MAGA Republicans, some thought it may have been a faux pas similar to Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables.” It wasn’t. It was intentional and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre doubled down on the statement today.

Watch:

It’s ludicrous to think that a desire to have free and fair elections is somehow taking away people’s “voting rights,” as she declared. But that’s the only way Democrats have a chance of salvaging their midterm chances. If they can gaslight enough Americans into thinking mail-in ballots, drop boxes, and no voter IDs are the only way to have “voting rights,” then Democrats have a better opportunity to cheat their way to victory.

This regime is determined to divide the nation irreparably. They’ve proven they cannot govern, so they intend to leave this nation in a smoldering heap of ash as they exit DC in 2023 and 2025.
