According to Texas Tribune:

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar on Thursday certified that 49 migrants who were flown to Martha’s Vineyard by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis last month were victims of a crime. The move clears a pathway for those migrants to get a special visa to stay in the country that they otherwise would not have received.

Rachel Self, a Massachusetts attorney working with the migrants, told radio station WGBH that the move by Salazar is a key part of the migrants’ applications for a “U visa,” which is reserved for victims of crime or people who witnessed a crime. In a statement, Salazar said his office had submitted documents with the federal system “to ensure the migrants’ availability as witnesses during the investigation.”

Attorneys like Self are seeking the visas for the migrants on the grounds that they were taken to Martha’s Vineyard under false pretenses.

“Based upon the claims of migrants being transported from Bexar County under false pretenses, we are investigating this case as possible Unlawful Restraint,” Salazar said in a statement.

This bold move by the woke sheriff could create unintended consequences to the cause of fighting the border invasion. It means Republican lawmakers who are copying DeSantis, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, and others need to be very careful with what they tell the illegal aliens.

What really needs to be done is for border states — and technically all Republican-led states — to declare an emergency and grant themselves power to deport the illegal aliens they detain. If the Biden-Harris regime continues to refuse to their jobs and keep the nation safe, it’s incumbent on states and cities to fill the gap.

Somewhere along the lines, woke Sheriff Javier Salazar of Bexar County, Texas, lost his law enforcement guiding light to the point that he’s going on CNN and calling for businesses to commit crimes. He’s so brazen that he’s saying American citizens who need jobs should compete against illegal aliens who have stolen our sovereignty just as long as they’re not terrorists or violent criminals.

What is his justification? Long wait lines at restaurants. No, seriously. Watch:

It’s no accident that this sheriff is on CNN. He’s trying to make a name for himself by “investigating” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over his move to fly illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard. Never mind that being in Texas, the sheriff runs into unambiguous jurisdictional challenges, but this is CNN so they’ll listen to anyone willing to speak out against DeSantis.

For those who didn’t catch the implication, this is an obvious political move by someone who wants to enter the national spotlight, someone who will almost certainly run for higher political office in the near future.

As is often the case, this leftist is unabashed in his inherent racism. Notice that he didn’t call on white collar businesses or even his own sheriff’s department to hire illegal aliens. He’s calling on restaurants who need dishwashers. This is peak wokeness.

Leftist political and media demagogues everywhere are absolutely melting down over the situation. In every case, the real message to be gleaned from their rage is just how hypocritical and shameless they are, as they attempt to protect what they have against any intrusion, while demanding everyone else make sacrifices and live in ever increasing squalor “for the greater good.”

Welcome to the ugly reality of leftist ideology in its entirety. Irrespective of the particular subject, leftists are quick to claw their way onto that phony “moral high ground” as they preach the unassailable “virtue” of their cause, though they always somehow find a way to exempt themselves from its horrendous consequences. On the rare occasion that they are forced to live, even briefly, with the realities of their lunacy, they squall like stuck pigs.

Whether it is the madness of “green energy” being pounded onto the masses by leftist elites as they fly around in their private jets, or more recently the massive and brutal lockdown agenda, to keep us “safe” from the Wu-flu (so we were told) imposed by despot wannabe blue state governors, the pattern is always the same. They enjoy a lavish lifestyle, and break every rule they impose on us the moment they think the cameras are off. Yet they condemn even the tiniest efforts by the peasantry (that’s you and me), to seek to better our own lives in any similar manner.

Though the leftist blue-bloods of the Vineyard are appalling and detestable in their duplicity, the behavior they exhibit is neither isolated nor new. It is merely a very vocal exhibition of the fraud and posturing that has always been the way of all leftists, whenever reality lands at their own doorstep. Going back to the earliest days of their socialist agenda (and you can be sure that the Martha’s Vineyard crowd are hardcore socialists, at least according to their musings and voting patterns), their goal has always been to drive the middle class into absolute depravation and helplessness, so that it poses no threat to their dominance. Meanwhile, they wallow in extravagance and comfort from within their gated communities.

Such craven hypocrisy is shocking and detestable. Yet even more disgraceful are the attempts in which their DNC lackeys now engage, hoping to “one up” the effort by decrying it as “human trafficking” and “exploitation.” With the Biden Cabal having bussed illegals all over the nation into unsuspecting jurisdictions where hard working Americans suddenly have to contend with the influx, the wailing and self-pity of the Vineyard elites and their defenders carries no weight. Neither does the pious condemnations of leftists loudmouths, such as AOC, Hillary Clinton, or Gavin Newsom, who were silent on the real abuses and brutality suffered by illegals, and affected communities, from mass influxes across the border. That’s a problem for Texas, Arizona, and the rest of the Nation to deal with.

At this point, one of the primary principles of my book “Rules for Defeating Radicals,” bears mentioning. Leftists never truly care about any “cause” they claim to champion. It is always a matter of exploiting the plight of others for the sole purpose of advancing the leftist agenda. And that has never been more obvious than it is now. Every Hollywood bubblehead, every Fake News parakeet, and every Democrat attention hog is getting out in front of the cameras to voice their “righteous” condemnation of the Martha’s Vineyard debacle. Yet real abuses among far more people have been going on for decades throughout the border states, with the only response from the left being pious platitudes and mockery of those who are truly suffering harm from all of it.

In the midst of this latest ruckus, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert dared to remind everyone that the people in question, now so obviously reviled by the Martha’s Vineyard leftist aristocracy, are not “undocumented immigrants” or “refugees,” but illegal aliens. Of course the indignation and grandstanding among leftist players was immediate, condemning her as “hateful and bigoted.” So here’s a question for all you Martha’s Vineyard elitists and your leftist lackeys: Are these people, who you’ve since callously kicked out of your jet set communities, “Undocumented Americans” and “Dreamers,” or are they a trespassing and encroaching nuisance of which you quickly determined to rid yourselves?

Kudos to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who made the genius move to put the ball squarely in the leftist “court,” where it belongs. DeSantis’s rules of engagement are simple and effective. And they should be adopted by the rest of the GOP. Don’t play defense. Take the battle to the enemy’s front. Make the case with the American people. And above all, don’t allow the enemy to seize the narrative. In the process, the truly vile intentions of leftists, along with their indefensible double standards, emerge from behind their mask of pretended benevolence and virtue.

Leftist Democrat credibility is absolutely collapsing in the face of their hysterical and disingenuous response to the situation. Yet their tantrums have only begun. The word is out that Governor DeSantis is planning many more Martha’s Vineyard relocations of illegal aliens who have been callously dumped into his State and left to fend for themselves by the Biden Cabal.

You can be sure the Vineyard leftists are feverishly putting measures in place to prevent such a redo. So America should never forget that these are the same people who eviscerated their fellow citizens for attempting to take effective measures to secure the border, where the real invasion is occurring on a vastly larger, and truly dangerous scale.

This is definitely not the time to stop. We need more of such boldness, not only from Governor DeSantis, but from Texas Governor Greg Abbott, and every other genuine Conservative Governor. The prospects of expanding the effort are mind boggling. Just imagine how drastically voter ID laws and election integrity would instantly change if enough illegal aliens could be paid to vote Republican and help steal an election!

It’s not just hypocritical. It’s the ultimate expression of cognitive dissonance that has pervaded most of the Democrat Party for at least a decade.

Call me optimistic, but I cannot accept that ALL Democrats are buying the false narratives. I cannot believe that ALL Democrats are willfully ignorant about the problems this nation faces to the point that they replace real problems with manufactured outrage. I am hopeful that there is a quiet awakening happening right now within the Democrat Party. No, the leaders of the party will never wake up because doing so would be political suicide when woke cancel culture murders their careers. But the voters and donors have an opportunity to let recent events sink in.

I’m not necessarily talking about getting “red-pilled.” That’s definitely happening to some, especially among independents and centrists. I’m talking about common sense helping to reverse the courses being taken politically and culturally by lucid Democrats who realize their party has left them behind but are too afraid to leave. These aren’t even necessarily old-school Democrats. If Joe Biden, the oldest of the old-school Democrats, can be turned into a radical extremist, then what hope is there in relying on them? I’m referring to those of all ages who are smart enough to see through the multitude of lies, who can recognize some of the gaslighting that’s being done, and who can come to the conclusion that the reaction of Martha’s Vineyard residents to immediately deport illegal aliens in their midst represents the true mindset of the hero class in the Democrat Party.

Martha’s Vineyard resident Barack Obama has been conspicuously silent on the issue. Of course he has been. He cannot risk opening up any of the various cans of worms laid before him. He’ll sit back, say nothing, and maybe chime in when the right moment pops up. In the meantime, he’s busy strategizing with his fellow globalists and radical leftists about what false narrative they’ll instruct their corporate media puppets to disseminate.

If we had done a poll of Democrats a week before the Martha’s Vineyard incident about how sanctuary cities work, the vast majority would have said that sanctuary cities are places where “undocumented migrants” could go to be safe from deportation or imprisonment by the evil MAGA Republicans. That’s what they’ve been told. Now, the narrative is rapidly shifting to state that sanctuary cities are places where “undocumented migrants” can go where they’ll be moved somewhere else. We’re hearing a lot about the lack of infrastructure to handle these people.

In other words, we’re seeing a change in the propaganda that’s intended to salvage the lies by redefining how the Democrat utopian dream is supposed to work for migrants.

Instead of going along with the new Democrat narratives emerging about illegal aliens, lucid Democrats should question the premise itself. Why didn’t the Democrats’ policies work? Washington DC, Martha’s Vineyard, and New York City should have been able to easily accommodate the tiny influx of illegal aliens based on what Democrats have been saying for the last decade. If they expect border cities to be okay with it, why can’t they handle it themselves? And what about the Biden-Harris regime flying many, many more illegal aliens to Republican cities and towns across the country? What’s so different between that and what Governors Greg Abbott and Ron DeSantis are doing other than the secrecy behind the White House’s midnight flights?

I’m not calling on Democrats to become Republicans. I’m not a Republican myself, though mostly because the party simply isn’t conservative enough. But lucid Democrats, the remnant that haven’t been fully brainwashed, should be able to put the pieces together based solely on the Martha’s Vineyard incident and realize their party is built on a foundation of lies being propagated by the elites in the party. These same elites who blocked the border wall insulate themselves behind walls. These same elites that blocked Donald Trump refilling the strategic oil reserve at $24 a barrel are demanding Joe Biden do it now at $80 a barrel. These same elites that demand residents in border cities open their doors and accommodate illegal aliens refuse to do it themselves.

If you’re a lucid Democrat who hasn’t been fully indoctrinated, then this is your wake up call. Your party has left you. They just hope you’re too scared of cancel culture to leave them in return.
