  • Antibiotics fight bacterial infections. They have no effect on infections caused by viruses, such as the common cold, seasonal influenza, SARS-CoV-2 and some ear infections
  • Antibiotic drugs are routinely overused, both in human medicine and agriculture, resulting in the proliferation of antibiotic-resistant infections
  • There are many natural plant-based remedies that will help kill bacteria without the risk of building resistance
  • Natural antimicrobials include medicinal honey, garlic, ginger, echinacea, goldenseal, myrrh oil, thyme essential oil, oregano oil, clove extract and cranberry juice
  • Remember that upper respiratory infections (URIs) are typically caused by viruses, not bacteria, so antibiotics won’t work for these infections. For URI’s, nebulized hydrogen peroxide is one of the most effective remedies. In most URI cases, improvement is seen within a few hours
  • (Mercola)—As the name implies, antibiotics help fight bacterial infections. They have no effect on infections caused by viruses, such as the common cold, seasonal influenza, SARS-CoV-2 and some ear infections. Antibiotic drugs are routinely overused, both in human medicine and agriculture, resulting in the proliferation of antibiotic-resistant infections.

Taking an antibiotic unnecessarily will also kill off your beneficial gut bacteria, which could make it more difficult for you to recover from your illness. The good news is there are many natural plant-based remedies that will help kill bacteria without the risk of building resistance. Here’s a review of 10 natural antimicrobials you can reach for as a first line of defense, before resorting to a pharmaceutical antibiotic.

    Medicinal Honey

As long as you use the right kind of honey, science backs its use for a variety of bacterial infections, especially when used topically. As explained in the 2011 paper, “Honey: Its Medicinal Property and Antibacterial Activity”:1

“[The] medicinal importance of honey has been documented in the world’s oldest medical literatures, and since the ancient times, it has been known to possess antimicrobial property as well as wound-healing activity.

The healing property of honey is due to the fact that it offers antibacterial activity, maintains a moist wound condition, and its high viscosity helps to provide a protective barrier to prevent infection. Its immunomodulatory property is relevant to wound repair too.

The antimicrobial activity in most honeys is due to the enzymatic production of hydrogen peroxide. However, another kind of honey, called non-peroxide honey (viz., manuka honey), displays significant antibacterial effects even when the hydrogen peroxide activity is blocked …

The medical grade honeys have potent in vitro bactericidal activity against antibiotic-resistant bacteria causing several life-threatening infections to humans.”

In 2018, the U.K. Department of Health proposed guidelines recommending the use of honey as a first line of treatment for coughs, as part of its goal to reduce inappropriate antibiotic use. As reported by BBC News:2

“A hot drink with honey — and often with lemon and ginger as well — is a well-known home remedy for coughs and a sore throat … [P]roposed guidelines from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and Public Health England (PHE) say there is some limited evidence that it can help improve cough symptoms.”

The nectar from the manuka flower contains dihydroxyacetone, a precursor to methylglyoxal (MGO), an antimicrobial compound not found in most other honey. Australian manuka honey is perhaps the most well-known and well-studied medicinal honey, with clinical studies demonstrating its effectiveness in the treatment of:3

    • Bacterial infections — Manuka honey has been shown to effectively eradicate a long list of bacteria,4 including helicobacter pylori responsible for peptic ulcer diseases and gastritis, and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Manuka honey also effectively removes stubborn biofilm produced by Staphylococcus aureus5
    • Skin diseases, ulcers, burns and necrosis
    • Dental caries and plaque, periodontal infections and gingivitis
    • Ulcerative colitis and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
    • Wounds, including post-surgical wounds

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorized the first manuka-based medical product in 20076 (Medihoney by Derma Sciences Inc.). Today, several different brands of Manuka-based wound and burn dressings can be found online.

Do not use conventional store-bought honey for wound care. It lacks the medicinal qualities of medicinal honeys like Manuka, and could potentially feed rather than inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria. For more information, see this September 21, 2022, article on Manuka honey. Used internally, your best bet is raw, locally sourced, unprocessed honey. There’s a lot of fake honey out there, so use caution.

    Garlic

Garlic has been used to fight bacterial and parasitical infections for centuries. According to a 2014 review, garlic has been proven effective against “a plethora of gram-positive, gram-negative, and acid-fast bacteria,” including but not limited to:7

    • Salmonella
    • Escherichia coli
    • Pseudomonas
    • Proteus
    • Staphylococcus aureus
    • Klebsiella
    • Micrococcus
    • Bacillus subtIlis
    • Clostridium
    • Mycobacterium
    • Helicobacter
    • Vancomycin-resistant enterococcus

Importantly, garlic “exerts a differential inhibition between beneficial intestinal microflora and potentially harmful enterobacteria,” meaning it inhibits bad bacteria while leaving good bacteria alone.8

Garlic also has antiprotozoal and antifungal properties, and according to the 2014 review9 above, garlic can be an effective treatment for conditions such as Candida albicans, multidrug-resistant tuberculosis and giardiasis.

In the case of giardiasis — an intestinal infection marked by stomach cramps, bloating, nausea and watery diarrhea — researchers found commercially available garlic capsules eliminated the symptoms in all patients within 24 hours.

Research also supports the use of garlic and garlic derivatives for chronic external- and middle-ear infections. According to one such study,10 two components of garlic, allicin and s-allyl cysteine (SAC), were effective against the microorganisms involved in most ear infections, even at low concentrations. Garlic-infused oils are commercially available, but you can also make your own. Here’s a recipe previously published by Verywell Health:11

“You will need one garlic clove, olive oil, a pan, a strainer, a glass jar with a lid, a dropper, and a piece of cotton. You can make your own garlic oil in a few easy steps:

    1. Peel and crush up the garlic.
    2. Warm the oil and garlic slowly on low heat until the garlic and oil are fragrant.
    3. Remove it from heat so that the mixture can cool down.
    4. Strain the garlic from the oil while pouring it into a jar.

Once the oil is ready, you can use it as you would any other type of eardrop.”

    Ginger

Ginger, available in extract, tincture, oil and oral capsule form, also has potent antimicrobial activity. A 2020 study12 demonstrated that ginger essential oil was effective against E. coli and S. aureus, two bacteria involved in periodontal infections.

According to the authors, the bactericidal effects of ginger essential oil appears to be due to its ability to disrupt the bacterial cell membrane. As such, it may also be useful in food preservation.

Another study13 found a 10% ginger extract effectively killed Streptococcus mutans, Candida albicans and Enterococcus faecalis, which are also implicated in the causation of oral infections. More than a dozen other bacteria are also vulnerable to its effects,14 as are a number of biofilms.15

Ginger is not suitable for children under age 2, and adults should not take more than 4 grams of ginger per day. Pregnant women are advised to cap their intake at 1 gram per day.16

    Echinacea

Echinacea extract has antibacterial properties and is known to have been used by Native Americans for more than 400 years to treat wounds and infections. According to Mount Sinai Hospital,17 echinacea may be used to treat “urinary tract infections, vaginal yeast (candida) infections, ear infections (also known as otitis media), athlete’s foot, sinusitis, hay fever (also called allergic rhinitis), as well as slow-healing wounds.”

It’s also a popular remedy for upper respiratory infections, such as the common cold and flu. According to a 2021 study,18 a nanosized echinacea extract was found to have up to 16-fold higher antibacterial activity against multidrug-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae strains, compared to regular extract.

Echinacea is available in many forms, including extracts, tinctures, tablets and capsules. As a general recommendation for infection, take it three times a day for a maximum of 10 days.19

    Goldenseal

Like echinacea, goldenseal is often used for the prevention and alleviation of cold symptoms, and a number of products combining the two can be found. One of the main constituents of goldenseal is berberine, known for its potent antibacterial properties.

Berberine primarily kills gram-positive bacteria, including MRSA. Berberine is not the sole component responsible for goldenseal’s antimicrobial effects, however. Extract from the aerial portions of the plant also has potent antibacterial effects that cannot be attributed to berberine alone, which is primarily found in the roots. As explained in a 2011 paper:20

“We hypothesize that [aerial goldenseal] extracts contain efflux pump inhibitors that synergistically enhance the antimicrobial activity of berberine. Bacterial efflux pumps are membrane bound proteins that pump toxins out of bacterial cells.

Overexpression of efflux pumps contributes to the development of resistance in bacteria, including S. aureus. Inhibition of efflux pumps may enhance the effectiveness of antimicrobial agents that are substrates for these pumps, and decrease the minimum inhibitory concentration for the antimicrobials.”

According to Mount Sinai,21 goldenseal is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those with high blood pressure, liver disease or heart disease should discuss its use with their medical provider, as it can interfere with medications prescribed for these conditions. Potential adverse effects include irritation of the skin, mouth, throat and vagina, and increased sensitivity to sunlight.

    Myrrh Oil

When an antibiotic fails to kill off all the bacteria, you can end up with nongrowing bacterial persister cells. While these persisters do not undergo genetic change to make them resistant to the antibiotic, they often end up forming biofilms and are a major cause of chronic low-grade infections.22

This is where myrrh oil really shines, as research23 shows it preferentially kills off these nongrowing persister cells, and do so without the risk of promoting resistance. As noted by the authors:

“We report here that myrrh has a strong and unique antibiotic activity preferentially against nongrowing bacteria, a property not found in any commercially available antibiotic.

This unique property, along with its low toxicity and less tendency of antibiotic resistance development, suggests that myrrh can be developed to be a promising and ideal antibiotic with lower dosage requirements.”

Other research suggests it may be useful in the treatment of respiratory infections, gingivitis,24 treatment-resistant trichomoniasis vaginalis25 (a sexually transmitted disease) and Lyme disease.26

    Thyme Essential Oil

Thyme essential oil has antibacterial, antibiofilm, antiviral, antifungal and antiseptic properties, and has a history of use in the treatment of upper respiratory infections. Quality matters, however. As noted in the 2020 paper, “Thymol and Thyme Essential Oil — New Insights into Selected Therapeutic Applications”:

“… only standardized preparations of thyme herb and essential oil that meet the requirements of national pharmacopeias or European Pharmacopoeia X (Ph. Eur. X) are used for the production of medicines.

According to the Ph. Eur. X definition, thyme herb is described as whole leaves and flowers separated from the dried stems of Thymus vulgaris or Thymus zygis or their mixture with 12 mL/kg of minimum essential oil (EO) and minimum thymol and carvacrol contents of 40%.

Thyme EO is defined as a product of the steam distillation of fresh flowering aerial parts of one or a mixture of both species with 37% – 55% thymol and 0.5% – 5.5% carvacrol concentrations …

Thyme herb and its volatile oil have long been used for the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, symptoms of bronchitis, parasitic infections, pruritus associated with dermatitis, bruises, and sprains. Nowadays, it is generally used as an expectorant in cough associated with cold and also in dentistry as a disinfectant.

It exerts an antibacterial effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and has antiviral (herpes simplex virus type I, human rhinoviruses and influenza viruses), antifungal, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and spasmolytic activity.

Although thyme volatile oil has cytotoxic properties in high concentrations and may cause intestinal cell damage when administered orally, no toxicity has been reported at commonly used doses, and it can be considered as a safe drug.

Skin administration in high concentrations may cause irritation. In rare cases, an allergic reaction can occur, manifesting as skin rash, bronchospasm, asthma attack, and anaphylaxis. Therefore, this EO is contraindicated in persons allergic to thyme or other plants from the Lamiaceae family due to a possible cross-reactivity.”

    Oregano Oil

Oregano oil has shown effectiveness against bacteria such as Streptococcus mutans,27 which causes dental cavities, as well as 11 different multidrug-resistant bacteria, including Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and MRSA, and their biofilms.28

Tests have also confirmed that repeated use of oregano oil does not lead to resistance, which makes it a useful remedy in the treatment of wounds. As reported in a 2018 study in Frontiers in Microbiology:29

“While efficiently inactivating bacteria, there was no evidence of resistance development after up to 20 consecutive passages of representative bacterial strains in the presence of sublethal doses of oregano oil.

In vivo study using the third-degree burn wounds infected with PA01 or USA300 demonstrated that oregano oil, topically applied 24 h after bacterial inoculation, sufficiently reduced the bacterial load in the wounds by 3 log10 in 1 h …

This bactericidal activity of oregano oil concurred with no significant side effect on the skin histologically or genotoxicity after three topical applications of oregano oil at 10 mg/ml for three consecutive days.

The investigation suggests potentials of oregano oil as an alternative to antibiotics for the treatment of wound-associated infections regardless of antibiotic susceptibility.”

Clove Extract and Cranberries Combat UTIs

Two natural antimicrobials shown to be useful against urinary tract infections (UTIs) are clove extract and cranberry juice. A study30 comparing the antimicrobial activity of clove extract and commercial clove essential oil (both having standardized eugenol content) found the extract was far more effective.

The ethanolic clove extract exhibited broad-spectrum inhibition against both gram-negative and gram-positive UTI-causing pathogens such as Proteus mirabilis, Staphylococcus epidermidis, S. aureus, E. coli and K. pneumoniae.

Cranberry juice is perhaps one of the most well-known remedies against UTIs. As explained in the 2018 review “Cranberry Consumption Against Urinary Tract Infections”:31

“Cranberry antibacterial effects have extensively been studied in order to understand the molecular mechanisms of action of its bioactive components and their clinical benefits against UTIs …

Current clinical evidence clearly indicates a possible benefit overall from the use of cranberries against UTIs. Cranberry consumption may prevent bacterial adherence to uroepithelial cells, reducing UTI related symptoms.

Cranberry consumption could also decrease UTI related symptoms by suppressing inflammatory cascades as an immunologic response to bacterial invasion … At present, cranberry supplementation can safely be suggested as complementary therapy in women with recurrent UTIs.”

A Cochrane Database of Systematic Review32 published in April 2023 confirmed that cranberry products — including juice or capsules — reduced the risk of symptomatic, confirmed UTIs in several groups.

In children, the UTI risk was reduced by 54%, in patients at increased risk to UTIs due to a medical intervention such as radiation treatment the risk was lowered by 53%, and in women with a history of recurrent UTIs the risk was reduced by 26%.

Nebulized Hydrogen Peroxide for Respiratory Infections

It’s also worth remembering what I believe is the most effective remedy for upper respiratory infections (URIs). Many make the mistake of taking antibiotics for URIs, but they won’t work, as they only kill bacteria and URIs are typically caused by viruses. The video above has my latest recommendations on how to prepare the hydrogen peroxide/saline nebulization solution and equipment to use.

Over the last three years, I’ve interviewed Dr. Thomas Levy and Dr. David Brownstein about this remarkably effective, yet simple and inexpensive treatment option. Both treated COVID patients with nebulized peroxide with great success.33,34

In most cases, including severe ones, improvement is seen within just a few hours. To inactivate viruses with hydrogen peroxide, all you need is a face mask that covers your mouth and nose and a nebulizer that emits a fine mist with properly diluted food grade hydrogen peroxide.

The microscopic mist, like smoke or vapor, can be comfortably inhaled deep into your nostrils, sinuses and lungs. I recommend using a desktop nebulizer, as they’re stronger and provide a much finer mist than handheld battery-operated versions.

    Hydrogen Peroxide Rapidly Inactivates Viruses

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) consists of a water molecule (H2O) with an extra oxygen atom (O2), and it is the additional oxygen atom that allows it to inactivate viral pathogens. Some of your immune cells produce hydrogen peroxide to destroy pathogens. By killing the infected cell, viral reproduction is stopped. So, hydrogen peroxide therapy aids your immune cells to perform their natural function more effectively.

Many studies have investigated the use of hydrogen peroxide against different pathogens. For example, a 2020 review35 of 22 studies found that 0.5% hydrogen peroxide effectively inactivated a range of human coronaviruses, including those responsible for SARS and MERS, within one minute of exposure.

According to Brownstein, all pathogens studied to date have been found to succumb to hydrogen peroxide, albeit at varying concentrations and for different amounts of exposure.

How to Properly Dilute the Peroxide

While you can use virtually any percentage of food grade peroxide, it’s crucial to dilute it properly before use. What you want is a 0.1% dilution, so even a 3% hydrogen peroxide will need to be diluted at least 30 times.

In a pinch, you could use commercial 3% hydrogen peroxide, the stuff used for wound care, but I don’t recommend routine use of it as it contains stabilizing chemicals that can detract from the benefits. Also, you want to dilute the hydrogen peroxide with hypertonic saline, not plain water, as the lack of electrolytes in the water can damage your lungs if you nebulize that. Using saline prevents the osmotic differential that can damage lung cells.

To end up with a final peroxide/hypertonic saline solution concentration of 0.1%, you need to go through two steps:

    1. Create the hypertonic saline solution
    2. Dilute the peroxide

I used to recommend using normal saline, which contains 0.9% salt, but a 2021 study36 found that a 1.5% sodium chloride solution (hypertonic saline) achieved a 100% inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 replication in vitro (in cell culture). Using lower levels of saline, like 1.1%, only inhibited 88%. So, I now recommend using hypertonic saline instead, which would be slightly less than double the amount of salt used to make normal saline.

To make hypertonic (1.5%) saline, simply mix 1.5 teaspoons of high-quality unprocessed salt to one pint of purified or distilled water. Stir until the salt is thoroughly dissolved. Be sure to use proper measuring spoons and not a regular kitchen teaspoon. For even greater precision, you could use a digital scale to measure out exactly 7.1 grams of salt.

If the 1.5% hypertonic solution causes nasal burning, irritation or cough, you can lower the concentration to 0.9% salt, which is isotonic normal saline. For this you would decrease the salt to one level teaspoon to one pint of water. Once you have your saline solution and a food grade hydrogen peroxide, dilute the peroxide according to the following chart, based on the concentration you’re starting with.

    WARNING:

Food grade peroxide at concentrations of 12% and 36% should NEVER be used full-strength either topically or internally. It MUST be diluted or severe injury can occur. Your safest bet is to use 3% food grade peroxide and dilute it as indicated so you end up with a solution of 0.1%.

Once you have your peroxide-saline solution, simply pour 1 teaspoon of it into the nebulizer and inhale the entire amount. If you like, you can add one drop of 5% Lugol’s iodine solution to the nebulizer as well. Some find it boosts the effects.

I recommend using nebulized peroxide for any suspected respiratory infection, and the earlier you start, the better. If you’re already presenting with a runny nose or sore throat, use the nebulizer for 10 to 15 minutes four times a day until your symptoms are relieved.

You can also use nebulized hydrogen peroxide for prevention and maintenance, which may be advisable during flu season. There is no danger in doing it every day if you’re frequently exposed, and there may even be additional beneficial effects, such as a rapid rise in your blood oxygen level.

    Biological Contamination of Pharmaceuticals: Oh No https://americanconservativemovement.com/biological-contamination-of-pharmaceuticals-oh-no/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/biological-contamination-of-pharmaceuticals-oh-no/#respond Fri, 29 Dec 2023 09:37:27 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=199859
  • Biological contamination of pharmaceutical products and hospital-acquired infections are not uncommon but they rarely get the massive attention they deserve
  • Pharmaceutical giants regularly recall their products due to contamination — and that is just when they get “caught”
  • In 2012, a multistate outbreak of fungal meningitis was linked to contaminated steroid injections; a compounding pharmacy in Massachusetts was blamed
  • In 2021, David Stonebrook filed a lawsuit, alleging unsanitary conditions at the facilities where they packaged components used in the production of Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccines
  • Under the “new normal, due to apathy and overall decline, the real-life sanitary standards are getting worse”
  • Degradation of Standards

(Mercola)—Signs of emotional and physical decay are everywhere, especially in the previously glamorous cities like New York. Apathy and indignity come with a decline in basic sanitary standards and hygiene. One would think that obsessive mask wearing would be accompanied by impeccable hygiene — but no. It has been my observation that paradoxically, during the times of “COVID,” business sanitary conditions — imperfect even prior to 2020 — took a major nose dive.

I have seen first-hand a New York pharmacy employee sorting out a pile of new arrivals (reading glasses, etc.) on the dirty aisle floor. I have also witnessed different cashiers at yet another pharmacy clean up the trash cans and then proceed to check out purchases wearing the sane gloves, to the soundtrack of various Pfizer commercials for vaccines.

Methinks that the “microbiome” from New York trash is not exactly what our bodies crave for optimum health — but hey, it’s just me.

    Hospital-Acquired Fungal and Other Infections

Hospital-acquired fungal and other infections are not anything new. They have been a major contributor to the iatrogenic harms for years now. According to a paper published in the Journal of Patient Safety ten years ago, in 2013, “a lower limit of 210,000 deaths per year was associated with preventable harm in hospitals.

Given limitations in the search capability of the Global Trigger Tool and the incompleteness of medical records on which the Tool depends, the true number of premature deaths associated with preventable harm to patients was estimated at more than 400,000 per year. Serious harm seems to be 10- to 20-fold more common than lethal harm.”

When a number of hospitals in America were rated by Consumer Reports based on the number of infections they reported, it was found that large teaching hospitals in big cities rated worse than smaller ones.

Here is a curious fact. This now-deleted article, published by MSN in 2021 and titled, “Killer fungus spread rampantly at US hospital Covid ward,” discussed Candida auris infections in patients in a Florida COVID ward:

“C. auris is associated with up to 40 percent in-hospital mortality and is usually caught inside healthcare settings, especially when people have feeding or breathing tubes, or catheters placed in large veins.

It causes bloodstream, wound and ear infections and has also been found in urine and respiratory samples, but it’s not clear if the fungus actually infects the lung or bladder. The recent outbreak began in July when a hospital — which the report did not name — notified the Florida Department of Health of an initial four cases of the fungus among patients being treated for the coronavirus.

The next month, the hospital carried out additional screening in its Covid-19 unit, which spanned four floors across five wings, and identified 35 more patients as being C. auris-positive. Follow-up data was available for only 20 out of the 35 patients.”

The numbers in the study are small but the implications are potentially very significant. That particular hospital happened to test the patients in their COVID ward for the fungus and acknowledge their fungal infections. How many hospitals forgot (or “forgot”) to do that?

And how about the mainstream claim that bacterial pneumonia might have caused a large percentage of “COVID” deaths? How about that? Is anyone going to apologize for the massive 2020 fear mongering, or was this claim allowed because they — the “they” — are about to push a different kind of vaccines and are preparing the scene?

Today, the official take on drug-resistant fungal and other infections in healthcare facilities is that they are very much on the rise. (Even the CDC says so.) But what caused them to be on the rise?

What impaired the natural ability of the westerners to resist infections? Was is mainly the overuse of antibiotics — like they say — or could it be that the entire model of Rockefeller sickcare is simultaneously crumbling under its own weight and doing exactly what it was supposed to do, i.e. turning innocent would-be healthy people into desperate patients for life?

Ironically, this 2018 paper half-answers the question about the rise in fungal infections and almost says the quiet part out loud (the HIV claim aside): “Fungal diseases became a major medical problem in the second half of the 20th century when advances in modern medicine together with the HIV epidemic resulted in large numbers of individuals with impaired immunity [emphasis mine].” Don’t you say!

2012 Multistate Fungal Meningitis Outbreak Linked to Contaminated Steroids

Remember the 2012 multistate outbreak of fungal meningitis that was linked to contaminated steroid injections? In that particular outbreak, about 800 people in twenty states were officially diagnosed with fungal meningitis, and more than a hundred people died.

As a result of the formal investigation, Gregory Conigliaro, the former co-owner of a Massachusetts compounding pharmacy implicated in the multistate fungal meningitis outbreak in 2012, was sentenced to one year in prison and one year of supervised release.

“Prosecutors said Conigliaro conspired with a fellow co-owner — the company’s head pharmacist — to misrepresent the company’s operating procedures to the US Food and Drug Administration and a state pharmacy registration board …

The head pharmacist, Barry Cadden, was sentenced to nine years prison in 2017, having been convicted of racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, mail fraud and introduction of misbranded drugs into interstate commerce with the intent to defraud and mislead.”

In the case of the 2012 meningitis outbreak, they found the guilty parties — who weren’t any kind of “big names” — and sentenced them to jail. All fixed now? Shall we believe that the problem of contaminated injectable products has been limited to some compounding pharmacy, and nothing like that could ever happened again?

Mold Contamination in the Production of Pfizer and Moderna COVID Vaccines? David Stonebrook’s Lawsuit

In in 2021, David Stonebrook filed a lawsuit against Merck KGaA (Darmstadt, Germany), Sigma-Aldrich Corp., EMD Millipore, and Research Organics, LLC, alleging unsanitary conditions at the facilities where they packaged some of the components used in the production of Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccines. (Here is the amended complaint from 2023.)

According to Stonebrook’s lawsuit, he was hired as GMP (“Good Manufacturing Practices”) Packaging Supervisor at the defendants’ facility in Cleveland, Ohio, where he oversaw the packaging of TRIS and HEPES (buffers used in protein production and purification) from supersacks that hold several tons of product into smaller packaging for shipment. He was employed at the Facility as “GMP Packaging Supervisor” from January 4, 2021 to March 3, 2021.

Stonebrook was allegedly “informed by the management and reviewed documents reflecting that TRIS and HEPES manufactured and packaged at the Facility were intended for use in the Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines.”

According to his complaint, he subsequently “observed that the conditions in these packaging rooms where TRIS and HEPES were being repackaged at the Facility do not comply with GMP standards, including because the air handling and dust collection systems servicing these rooms were highly contaminated with mold, other contaminants, and residue from other components packaged in those rooms.

This posed a serious danger to patient health and also plainly violated the obligations that Pfizer and Moderna had to provide GMP compliant Covid-19 vaccines to the United States government.”

Stonebrook made “numerous attempts to bring these serious issues to the attention of Defendants’ management, including initially in discussions, and then in writing. Defendants, instead of correcting these serious issues, fired him.” Here are some images from Stonebrook’s complaint:

Stonebrook’s lawsuit is pending (seemingly in mediation now). In 2023, the defendants in his lawsuit seem to have filed a counter lawsuit against him (defamation, contract breach, etc.).

J&J’s History of Mold and Other Contamination of Drugs and Vaccines

According to NBC News, in 2021, the FDA told Johnson & Johnson to “discard about 60 million doses of its Covid-19 vaccine that were produced at a troubled plant in Baltimore.” The FDA inspection of the Baltimore facility “revealed it had serious problems with unsanitary conditions and had failed to properly train workers.” One of the problems reported was mold.

In relation to the J&J troubles, Fox Business reported that Emergent BioSolutions, the company at the center of the vaccine supply chain, had been previously “cited repeatedly by the Food and Drug Administration for problems such as poorly trained employees, cracked vials and mold around one of its facilities, according to records obtained by The Associated Press through the Freedom of Information Act.”

In 2010, Johnson & Johnson recalled multiple batches of “big-selling, over-the-counter medicines after customers complained about odors of mold and mildew coming from the packages.” The recalled products included a wide variety of Tylenol and Motrin painkillers, Rolaids antacids, St. Joseph aspirin, and Benadryl allergy tablets. According to FDANews, in 2010, both J&J and Pfizer “recalled major drugs for musty, moldy odor.”

In 2013, J&J recalled 5,000 vials of Risperdal Consta, a long-acting injectable version of the antipsychotic pill Risperdal. A routine analysis “revealed that one lot of the med was contaminated with a mold found commonly in the environment.”

“That recall followed close behind another from J&J’s McNeil Consumer Healthcare unit. After finding plastic particles in its API last week, the company pulled 200,000 bottles of Motrin Infants’ Drops.”

In 2014, J&J recalled 13,500 bottles of Xarelto because of contamination. “According to a recall notice in the latest FDA Enforcement Report, the drugmaker said that it confirmed that a sales sample of the drug was contaminated after a customer complaint, and so initiated a nationwide, voluntary recall. The company reported that the product came from a plant in Gurabo, Puerto Rico.”

    “Brought to You by Pfizer”?

In 2019, Pfizer recalled two lots of Relpax, a headache medicine that narrows blood vessels around the brain, due to the “potential presence of Genus Pseudomonas and Burkholderia … Individuals who consume oral products contaminated with microorganisms are at risk of bacterial dissemination from the gut to the bloodstream potentially resulting in serious, life-threatening infections.”

    Mycoplasma Contamination of Vaccines

Here is a highly censored talk by Dr. Garth Nicolson in which he discusses potential mycoplasma contamination of vaccines. I am sharing with great thanks to A Midwestern Doctor for posting this video as the last time I looked, it had been completely scrubbed from YouTube.

    Contaminated Rotarix Vaccines?

Here is a very interesting excerpt by John Stone published by Age of Autism:

“On March 22, 2010 the FDA suspended the use of GSK’s Rotarix vaccine after it was found to be contaminated with porcine circovirus type 1 (PCV-1). Then on May 6 the Offit/Merck version Rotateq was found to be contaminated not only by PCV-1 but another related virus, porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV-2).

On May 7, according to information on the FDA website a meeting was swiftly convened: ‘to discuss the findings of PCV and PCV DNA in rotavirus vaccines. Based on a careful evaluation of this information, a thorough review of the scientific literature, and input from scientific and public health experts, the Agency is revising its recommendation to temporarily suspend use of the Rotarix vaccine.

FDA has determined it is appropriate for clinicians and health care professionals to resume the use of Rotarix and to continue the use of RotaTeq.’”

Putting the Plasmid Contamination in Context

Like I said in an earlier Substack article, I would like to put the plasmidgate and the SV40 contamination of COVID injections in a broader context. The plasmid contamination is a very bad thing — and my hat goes off to every brave soul who is exploring that route.

“However, the problem is much bigger, in my opinion, and it is very helpful to zoom out and consider the fact that biological contamination of the things that we presume to be clean is very widespread.

And while it is very widespread — and we are exposed to a ton of natural and genetically modified bugs — due to poisoning of everything, our microbiomes and our immune systems are not “what they used to be.” So it’s a bit of a double whammy. And yet, our job is to prevail!”

    Precision Fermentation

Then we have the so called “precision fermentation” which is playing an increasingly significant role in the production of pharmaceutical components, popular food additives, etc.

It is not really fermentation per se, it’s a technology that “uses microorganisms – usually genetically modified – as ‘cell factories’ to produce specific functional ingredients,” such as, for example, proteins and enzymes. The technology is considered cost-effective by the pharmaceutical, food, and other industries, and it is on the rise.

Once the target components are produced, they are supposed to be separated from the biological “goo” that’s produced them and thoroughly purified. How well are they separated and purified?

In theory, it all works great — but this particular peasant is feeling a little skeptical about the “quality assurance” process across the board and thinks that the problem of biological contamination of everything is going to become even bigger as precision fermentation is used more.

Hey, in no relation to precision fermentation, in 2013, Boehringer Ingelheim closed a whole pharmaceutical plant in Bedford, OH, following 2011 failed inspections that revealed unsanitary conditions, including the famous bucket of urine! Do you think that the spirit of “warp speed” moneymaking made things any better? Methinks, no.

    A Prediction

    Here is my prediction:

“We are going to hear more and more about drug-resistant non-viral infections running amok. It will be presented as a big surprise, despite the WEF writing for years about antimicrobial resistance being the next big threat. There will be cries for new drug development and new life-saving vaccines, this time against molds, yeasts, and intracellular parasites.

We are going to hear more about “dementia” being caused by microbes. Hell, they may even dare squeak that “autism” can be caused by microbes — and they are going to wrap this in a war cry for more vaccines.

It will be all very cruel because neurological issues can be caused by microbes and, in my opinion, often are — in part due to injecting very lucky microbes into children’s arms and bloodstreams for decades — but one thing that is definitely not going to help those children (now senior citizens with dementia) is more potentially contaminated vaccines.”

    Conclusion

I would like to end the story with a few philosophical and practical thoughts:

“I believe that a lot of “mysterious” sickness that has been exploding over the past decades (including skyrocketing dementia and autism) can be attributed not just to the all-pervasive business model based on ruthless poisoning — but also to the under-the-radar microbes, such as molds and other fungi, protozoans, not-so-friendly bacteria, and other living creatures who are very prevalent in the westerners’ bodies but capitalize on the myth of cleanliness in the westerners’ minds.

Those bugs can lie low for a long time and then attack in earnest when the person gets old, overly stressed, overly poisoned or irradiated, gets another infection, etc.” This is not a reason for panic. It’s a call for exploring, protecting ourselves intelligently and fearlessly — and giving our bodies the love we deserve.

“When it comes to vaccines, the unsanitary abyss offers a unique way to harm. If a biologically contaminated substance is injected into one’s arm, the contamination can very easily get straight into the bloodstream, bypassing the body’s natural guards.

Furthermore, in case of COVID mRNA vaccines, they are immunosuppressive by design to prevent the body from nuking the foreign genetic material — and so if a lucky bug is accidentally injected straight into the bloodstream alongside immunosuppressive components — that is one lucky bug!”

“In next few years, the amount of people who can productively work and use their bodies and brains in the “old normal way” will likely significantly decrease. Now is a very good time for soul searching, exploring and learning the old ways of medicine, and remembering that there is a meaning to all this.”

There is definitely existential meaning to everything we are going through — including the abysmal decline of mainstream medicine — and my hope is that as the Rockefeller sickcare crumbles — we will find our connection to earth, to better medicine, to each other, and to our own souls.

Frankincense: A First Aid Essential Oil With Anti-Arthritic, Analgesic and Anti-Microbial Effects https://americanconservativemovement.com/frankincense-a-first-aid-essential-oil-with-anti-arthritic-analgesic-and-anti-microbial-effects/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/frankincense-a-first-aid-essential-oil-with-anti-arthritic-analgesic-and-anti-microbial-effects/#respond Fri, 07 Jul 2023 15:08:10 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=194466 The “King of Essential Oils,” frankincense is one of the world’s most important and well-known natural remedies. It was one of three gifts the wise men gave to Jesus at his birth, indicating reverence for this particular oil.

Frankincense essential oil is derived from resin of the Boswellia tree.

Highly revered in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine, frankincense has been used since antiquity in religious ceremonies, perfumes, and incense, as well as medicine.

In traditional medicine, frankincense was used to treat constipation, microbial infection, and chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes, rheumatic disease, Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis.

Frankincense essential oil is known for its ability to combat fatigue. A 2018 case report concluded that frankincense provided relief from fatigue in a cancer patient. According to the report, “The topical application of the frankincense helped to take her fatigue from being barely able to lift her head to being able to do some basic activities of daily living.”

Studies have confirmed that frankincense contains numerous healing properties, including:

Because of its diverse array of healing properties, frankincense can replace several man-made medications commonly found in a modern first-aid kit.

When experiencing muscle soreness or joint pain, I reach for frankincense instead of Bengay, Aspirin, Aleve, or Motrin.

Because of its ability to reduce pain and swelling, frankincense is an effective topical treatment for muscle soreness and joint pain.

While frankincense and Bengay are both topical analgesics, frankincense is a natural plant remedy while Bengay can contain ingredients derived from fossil fuels, such as propylparaben and methylparaben.

Aspirin also contains synthetic ingredients including carnauba wax, D&C yellow No. 10 aluminum lake, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, and triacetin.

Meanwhile, Aleve and Motrin are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which have well-known adverse effects such as increased risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and gastrointestinal bleeding “from the first day of use,” according to a 2016 editorial in the British Journal of General Practice.

When experiencing a minor cut or scrape, I reach for frankincense instead of Neosporin.

Frankincense was used to treat infected wounds in traditional Chinese medicine. It contains antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, making it an excellent remedy for minor cuts or scrapes.

According to a report in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine, frankincense has “measurable antiseptic, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties” and therefore is valuable for “wound dressings.”

The common man-made alternative is Neosporin, which contains petrolatum, a synthetic chemical made from fossil fuels.

    When to Use Frankincense

Frankincense has been shown through scientific studies to be useful due its ability to:

    Different Forms to Choose From

The best options for a first-aid kit include undiluted frankincense essential oil and aromatherapy. Below are my favorite recipes along with common dosages.

    A Word on Frankincense Quality

Avoid frankincense essential oils that state “fragrance oil” or “perfume oil” on the label. Those oils can be synthetic. Only purchase oils that are labeled “100 percent essential oil.”

When choosing an essential oil, I only purchase products that are organic, don’t contain additives or synthetic chemicals, and have been tested for heavy metals, microbes, and glyphosate.

    Frankincense Used Topically

Frankincense essential oil can be applied neat (with no dilution) directly to the skin.

For sensitive skin, or if using for the first time, prepare a dilution by adding 10 drops frankincense essential oil to two teaspoons organic fractionated coconut oil. I add the oils to a glass essential oil roller bottle for ease of application, but a glass bottle with eye dropper also works well.

Apply the frankincense oil, neat or diluted, to the skin where needed. For example, to relieve a tension headache, apply frankincense essential oil to the temples and back of the neck; gently massage into the skin. For joint pain, massage the oil directly on the joint.  For minor cuts or scrapes, gently dap or drip oil on the cut.

    Frankincense for Aromatherapy

Add 2 to 3 drops frankincense essential oil to a vaporizer or diffuser and enjoy the woody aroma. For a soothing bath, add a couple drops of essential oil directly to the bathwater and breath in the vapors. Alternatively, add five drops of frankincense to three cups distilled water in a spray bottle and spritz your home, car, or office.

To clear congestion and reduce inflammation in the lungs, stir a few drops of frankincense oil into a large bowl of hot water.  Drape a towel over your head and inhale the fumes deeply. Make sure the water isn’t boiling or the steam may burn the skin.

To ease throbbing pain from a sinus infection or headache, soak a washcloth in a solution of warm water and frankincense oil, then lay the washcloth across the eyes, nose, and forehead. For muscle soreness, place the soaked washcloth directly on the muscle.

When on-the-go, simply open the lid of the frankincense essential oil bottle and breath in the earthy aroma for 1 to 3 minutes. Alternatively, place a drop of frankincense under your nose and take deep breaths.

    Frankincense in Mouthwash

Due to its antiseptic properties, frankincense is an effective mouthwash.

Frankincense contains a compound that is so effective at killing “oral cavity pathogens,” researchers recommended using frankincense as a “mouthwash for preventing and treating oral infections,” according to a study published in the Journal of Traditional and Complementary Medicine.

Add 2 to 3 drops frankincense essential oil to one cup of warm water. Swish the solution through your teeth for one minute, making sure it contacts the front and back of each tooth, under the tongue and across the roof of the mouth. Next, gargle and then spit into the sink.

    Frankincense Used Orally

Frankincense can be consumed orally if diluted properly and unadulterated. Add one drop frankincense essential oil to eight ounces of water or one tablespoon honey. If ingesting frankincense essential oil, make sure the product is 100 percent pure oil.

Frankincense capsules are also available for purchase online.

    Precautions and Possible Interactions:

Frankincense “has not shown any serious side effect and is considered to be safe,” according to a review in the Journal of Traditional and Complementary Medicine, Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their health care provider before consuming frankincense.

Frankincense may interact with conventional medications to create toxicity or undesired side effects. For instance, frankincense has reportedly interfered with warfarin and leukotriene inhibitors. Frankincense has blood-thinning effects and, therefore, shouldn’t be used if on blood-thinning medication.

Although rare, frankincense can cause minor skin rashes and digestive problems, including nausea and stomach pain.

Prepper Medicine: 9 Medicinal Herbs to Plant in Your Home Garden https://americanconservativemovement.com/prepper-medicine-9-medicinal-herbs-to-plant-in-your-home-garden/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/prepper-medicine-9-medicinal-herbs-to-plant-in-your-home-garden/#respond Wed, 19 Apr 2023 12:08:44 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=191881 There are thousands of medicinal plants out there, but the nine herbs listed below can provide most of what you need to create a backyard pharmacy.

If you grow these herbs in your backyard, you won’t have to go out foraging for hours on end or put your faith in store-bought herbs that have been depleted of their nutrient content, says herbalist Dr. Nicole Apelian.

Here are 9 useful herbs you should have in your home garden:

    California poppy (Eschscholzia californica)

The California poppy contains a variety of plant compounds, including alkaloids (allocryptopine and protopine) and flavone glycosides, which are said to exhibit pain-relieving, antispasmodic and hypnotic activities.

Herbalist Dr. Aviva Romm notes that California poppy is a relaxant herb that promotes sleep. It also has a calming effect and can be used to reduce anxiety and nervousness.

According to herbalists Rosemary Gladstar and David Hoffman, California poppy is a safe natural sedative to use for children, especially those who are over-excited and cannot sleep. To make a gentle, soothing tea, combine California poppy with chamomile, milky oats and marshmallow root.

California poppy is more powerful than morphine but is safer to use for treating and managing acute and chronic pain.

    Calendula (Calendula officinalis)

Essential oils, flavonoids, polysaccharides and triterpenoids are the principal constituents of calendula flowers. These plant compounds exhibit pharmacological activity, according to the book Medicinal Herbs in Primary Care.

Calendula has nourishing benefits for the skin and is used topically for treating wounds due to its soothing and antimicrobial properties. It may also be beneficial for chronic prostatitis, diaper dermatitis, episiotomy healing, gingivitis, leg ulcers (neuropathic and venous), radiation dermatitis, radiation mucositis and vaginal candidiasis. Calendula has anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor and cytotoxic properties.

    Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla)

A well-known medicinal plant often referred to as the “star among medicinal species” and included in the pharmacopeia of 26 countries, chamomile has been an ingredient of several traditional, Unani (a system of medicine practiced in India), and homeopathy medicinal preparations. It is also used for colic, flatulence, hysteria and intermittent fever.

The essential oil derived from chamomile flowers has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and anti-spasmodic properties. The herb can be used internally — mainly as a tisane (caffeine-free tea) — for diarrhea and nausea, disturbance of the stomach associated with pain, sluggish digestion, inflammation of the urinary tract and painful menstruation.

Externally, chamomile in powder form may be applied to promote the healing of wounds, skin eruptions, infections like boils and shingles, hemorrhoids and inflammation of the eyes, mouth and throat.

    Chicory (Cichorium intybus)

A study published in the Scientific World Journal reported that most parts of the chicory plant contain a wide variety of nutrients, such as carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins (A, B1, B2, C), minerals (calcium, iron, potassium), soluble fiber, trace elements and bioactive phenolic compounds, which are responsible for the therapeutic qualities of chicory.

Inulin, coumarins, tannins, monomeric flavonoids and sesquiterpene lactones are some of the major phytonutrients found in chicory plants. The health-promoting properties attributed to chicory include antibacterial, anticancer, antifungal, anthelminthic, anti-hepatotoxic, anti-inflammatory, anti-mutagenic, antioxidative, antiviral and immune-stimulating activities.

    Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea)

A study published in the journal Pharmacognosy Review reported that echinacea’s bioactive components, namely, alkamides, caffeic acid derivatives, glycoproteins and polysaccharides, have antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiviral and immune-stimulating properties.

Echinacea has long been used as a natural remedy for colds, flu and upper respiratory infections. It is useful for treating candida and other fungal infections, tumors and whooping cough. The herb is also known to boost the immune system.

Echinacea preparations are contraindicated for people with progressive systemic diseases, such as collagen disorders, leukemia and leukemia-like diseases, multiple sclerosis, tuberculosis and auto-immune diseases.

    Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium)

Also known as bachelor’s buttons and wild chamomile, feverfew can help relieve inflammation that causes arthritis pain. Studies point to a substance called parthenolide as the active component of feverfew that helps relieve migraine and muscle spasms.

Feverfew is a home remedy for fever and pain. It can be added to teas or you can simply chew one of its leaves.

A poultice made from crushed feverfew leaves placed over the affected area can help with arthritis or muscle pain. It can also help reduce joint inflammation and relieve joint pain. Crush some feverfew leaves (soak them if dried) and place them directly over the joint. Cover with a clean cloth to hold them in place.

    Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria)

Meadowsweet flowers are high in flavonoids, but the primary constituents of the herb are salicylates, particularly salicin, salicylaldehyde and methyl salicylate. In the digestive tract, these compounds are converted to salicylic acid, a substance that is closely related to aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid).

Sweetly scented meadowsweet tea is a natural analgesic. It helps relieve colds and fever as well as pain due to digestive problems, headaches and inflamed joints. The herb is also a natural diuretic and can be used as an astringent and skin conditioner by soaking the leaves in rainwater.

    Peppermint (Mentha piperita)

According to a study published in the journal Phytotherapy Researchpeppermint leaves and oil can be used as medicine. Peppermint is effective against the common cold, cough, inflammation of the mouth and throat, sinus infection and other respiratory infections.

The active compounds present in peppermint leaves are rosmarinic acid and several flavonoids, primarily eriocitrin, luteolin and hesperidin. The main volatile components of peppermint essential oil are menthol and menthone. The herb has shown significant antimicrobial and antiviral activities, as well as high antioxidant, anti-tumor and anti-allergenic potential. (Related: Learn how to grow these 8 medicinal plants in your indoor garden.)

    Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)

A popular folk medicine, yarrow contains flavonoids that increase saliva and stomach acid production to help with digestion. Alkaloids like azulene extracted from the flowers and leaves of yarrow have also been reported to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities. Yarrow can help relax muscles in the intestine and uterus and relieve menstrual and stomach cramps.

Yarrow essential oil is well-known for reducing inflammation. It is also great for relieving skin issues, such as burns, eczema, insect bites and rashes, because of its a cooling, soothing effect.

The food supply is under attack. Whether it be from technocrats waging a war against real food, regulations that threaten food sovereignty or the use of toxic chemicals, humans’ right to access unadulterated, healthy food is slipping away.

The Attack on Food Symposium, hosted by Dr. Meryl Nass and presented by Children’s Health Defense TV, brought together experts, including me, from a variety of disciplines to discuss the pressing topic of food security and provide solutions at the individual and societal levels. You can view the seven-hour event in its entirety above and my individual presentation below.

The Fake ‘Food as Medicine’ Agenda

Beginning at 3:30 in the video above, my presentation — “The Fake ‘Food as Medicine’ Agenda & Synthetic Foods” — focused on attacks on food and agriculture. There’s an impending crisis coming with The Great Reset, and food is going to be a real issue — even more so than it is now.

The globalists behind The Great Reset have long had a monopoly on food with their patented genetically modified organisms (GMOs). The primary purpose of GMOs was to facilitate the use of the toxic herbicide glyphosate,1 which Stephanie Seneff, Ph.D., a senior research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), presents in the next section of the symposium video. But to understand what’s coming, it’s important to understand the past.

The biotech industry used lobbying to ensure GMOs would be treated as substantially equivalent to real food, essentially bypassing the requirement to do safety testing before releasing them on the market. Their playbook is reminiscent of Big Tobacco’s tactics for a product that doesn’t harm you immediately but is detrimental gradually over time. An equally serious threat as GMOs has now emerged, however — synthetic food.

Fake food is predicted to become a $3 trillion market.2 Sometimes referred to in industry jargon as “the bio revolution” or synbio (short for synthetic biology), consulting firm McKinsey & Company predicted that 60% of all materials in the economy could be produced this way, including fake meat, fake milk and fake fat. Their report noted:3

“As much as 60 percent of the physical inputs to the global economy could, in principle, be produced biologically — about one-third of these inputs are biological materials (wood or animals bred for food) and the remaining two-thirds are nonbiological (plastics or fuels) but could potentially be produced or substituted using biology.”

Impossible Foods and Beyond Meat are the major players in the fake meat marketplace. The first fake fat, Cultured Oil, has also been released. In June 2020, Bill Gates also announced startup company BIOMILQ, which is using biotechnology to create synthetic lab-made human milk for babies. Using mammary epithelial cells placed in flasks with cell culture media, the cells grow and are placed in a bioreactor that the company says “recreates conditions similar to in the breast.”4

    Watch Out for ‘Precision Fermentation’

Fake food companies want you to believe their products are natural because they’re made with components of plants, even though nothing like them exists in nature. Be on the lookout for their industry buzzwords like precision fermentation, a term the biotech industry is using to piggyback off the popularity of truly health-promoting natural fermentation.

Precision fermentation, however, is nothing like its natural counterpart. It’s a form of synthetic biology that’s been around for at least 20 years. It uses genetically engineered microorganisms, such as yeast and bacteria, that are fermented in brewery-style tanks under high-tech, pharmaceutical grade sterile conditions. This is because these cultures are highly susceptible to contamination which would ruin the entire batch.

And, contamination can happen easily, so billions of dollars have been poured into this technology, which is using biological pathways that have never existed in nature before.

They’ve obliterated the precautionary principle, as the long-term outcomes are completely unknown, to produce fake meats, fake fats and fake milk. But it’s all serving the underlying agenda, which is total control and world domination. There’s no easier way to achieve this than by taking control of the food supply.

These fake, ultraprocessed foods give the globalists unprecedented power and control over human health, and they’re using stealthy marketing techniques. I was approached by Zero Acre Farms about their Cultured Oil, which they’re promoting to restaurants as an inexpensive alternative to seed oils.

    Fake ‘Cultured Oil’ Isn’t Natural

Many know I’m passionate about raising awareness of seed oils’ devastating health effects, as they contain about 75% linoleic acid and are contributing to rising rates of chronic disease. This new Cultured Oil contains less than 1% linoleic acid, so it sounds great — except it’s made using precision fermentation.

The term has even fooled many experts in the health industry, who believe it’s safe and natural. Instead, it’s another form of deception, changing the meaning of some of the most basic words in our vocabulary, like fermentation.

The industry wants people to believe that products produced with precision fermentation are no different than other fermented foods, like kimchi and yogurt. But what they fail to disclose is that the most often used organism in precision fermentation is the common bacteria E. coli. The E. coli is likely creating any number of non-targeted metabolites that have completely unknown environmental consequences.

The waste products created by natural fermentation are nonhazardous and actually edible and beneficial in many cases. It also is compostable and not a biohazard. In contrast, the biowaste from GE synthetic biology fermentation products can’t go into a landfill.5

Because this has been going on for decades, the laws are already in place to allow these products to bypass any safety testing, as they’ve been labeled as biologically equivalent to real food. I recommend staying as far away from fake food as you can and focusing on foundational human nutrition. This is what will get us through The Great Reset.

    The Global War on Food

Other speakers in the symposium included Alexis Baden-Mayer, political director for the Organic Consumers Association (OCA), who summed up the evidence that food from real farms is being replaced with fake food. From Haiti and Sri Lanka to Indonesia, Holland and Canada, “the story is the same.”6

Corporate interests with global trade prerogatives collaborate with government, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) or World Bank, which offered debt relief in the form of grants or low-interest loans to countries collapsing economically during the pandemic, but with strings attached.

“They drive the family farmers off of their land and into the city,” Baden-Mayer said.7 Benjamin Dobson, who spoke about the history of incursions on small farms, noted that independent farmers and people who grow herbal medicines are a threat to a centralized economic system.8

Seneff shared how the use of chemicals like glyphosate is also threatening the future of food.9 The amount of glyphosate used annually in the U.S. is equivalent to 1 pound for every man, woman and child, she said. It’s the most used herbicide on the planet.

While it’s common on GMOs, she pointed out that the highest residues are showing up in non-GMO foods such as wheat, oats, barley and rye, because it’s used as a desiccant, or drying agent, on these crops right before harvest. Glyphosate inhibits the shikimate pathway, which is involved in the synthesis of the essential aromatic amino acids phenylalanine, tyrosine and tryptophan.10

Seneff used Florida manatees as an example of glyphosate’s toxicity. The chemical is ubiquitous in the state’s waterways, particularly during the sugar cane harvest. Manatees have increased body burdens of glyphosate and have become sick, plus they’re starving because seagrass is dying off in the waterways’ disturbed ecosystems.11

    Solutions for Farmers

Session 2, which begins around 2:40 in the full-length video, offers solutions for farmers. Ronnie Cummins, OCA cofounder and director, noted that among the world’s small farmers, fewer than 1% are certified organic. However, there are 60 million small and medium farms that could become certified organic if it weren’t for all the regulatory hurdles in place.12

“If you look at the amount of farmland and the amount of food that these people are producing, it’s substantial. The global food market is about $10 trillion, but it’s estimated that a good $1.5 trillion of that is being produced in an organic or nearly organic manner,” he says.13 Since many organic farmers are able to find and flourish with local markets, this is one strategy to keep afloat.

Meanwhile, food sovereignty naturally leads to complete ecosystems that support human and planetary health, according to Mark Fulford, an independent farmer and farm consultant.14 He advocates for independent food hubs, which cut out the middle man, and using strategies like reading the landscape, using fungal or bacterial composts and embracing bees and other pollinators.

Gardening — A Solution for Individuals

You can take action on an individual level by building your own food security safety net. Starting a garden and learning some basic food production skills is essential and discussed in Session 3, at 4:10 in the full-length video.

Dr. John Day shares how to prepare a kitchen garden that’s as close to your kitchen as possible. He recommends choosing a spot that’s at least 400 square feet and 20 feet away from trees, because their roots will take the water from your garden. Southern exposure is ideal to get adequate light for your plants. “During hard times, and for food security, having your own vegetable garden and already knowing how to work it is really helpful.”15

Beverly Johannson, another gardener, advocates for no-dig gardening, another strategy you can use to grow vegetables. When you till the land, it stimulates the earth to initiate repairs, which it does by increasing weed growth. Tilling also destroys vital microbes and fungal mycelium, which helps to mobilize nutrients in the soil. With a no-dig garden, you’ll experience fewer weeds, higher yields and healthier plants, with less watering.16

She points out that storage is a key element of gardening, as you’ll want produce not only during the growing season but during the winter as well. Johannson has a root cellar where potatoes and other root vegetables are stored and another area for winter squash and onions, so she has access to fresh food year-round.

    Protecting Food as a Society

The final session deals with societal solutions to fight back against the war on food. U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie highlighted the vulnerabilities in the U.S. food supply, which fell apart during the pandemic when farmers had to euthanize animals because they couldn’t get them processed.17

Four meatpackers control 85% of the meat that’s processed in the U.S. One of them is owned by China, one by Brazil and the other two are multinational corporations. Food prices are going up while farmers are going broke. Massie introduced the Processing Revival and Intrastate Meat Exemption (PRIME) Act, which would allow farmers to sell meat processed at smaller slaughtering facilities and allow states to set their own meat processing standards.

Because small slaughterhouses do not have an inspector on staff — a requirement that only large facilities can easily fulfill — they’re banned from selling their meat. The PRIME Act would lift this regulation without sacrificing safety, as random USDA inspections could still occur.18

“If a farmer wants to sell pork, beef or lamb to a consumer, as long as that consumer and that farmer and that processor are all in the same state, they’re not crossing state lines, they keep the federal government out of that transaction,” he says.19 He’s also introduced legislation to protect access to raw milk, which he calls fresh milk.

Ultimately, the answer to food safety and security lies in a decentralized food system that connects communities with farmers growing real food sustainably and distributing it locally.

Amid Drug Shortages, Alternative Treatments for Fever and Cough https://americanconservativemovement.com/amid-drug-shortages-alternative-treatments-for-fever-and-cough/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/amid-drug-shortages-alternative-treatments-for-fever-and-cough/#respond Sat, 24 Dec 2022 22:05:22 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=187023 Editor’s Commentary: Admittedly, I am nowhere near being well-versed on holistic or natural medicines and treatments. My wife handles all of that; whenever anyone gets sick, she whips up something and we get better. She takes the hybrid approach by going all-natural to treat some ailments while going to the doctor and getting standard medications to treat others.

But even those who aren’t into natural remedies may need a crash course on them if the pharmaceutical supply chain continues to head toward collapse. We are already seeing crowded hospitals and shortages at the pharmacies. That’s why when the article below by Emma Suttie from our premium news partners at The Epoch Times crossed my desk, I knew I needed to read it. Then, I realized I needed to share it with my “late prepper” friends who, like me, may need to be introduced to alternatives before it’s too late.

This is why we work with a sponsor that specializes in shipping antibiotics after an easy telehealth appointment. I took them on as a sponsor AFTER taking advantage of their services because I recognize the need to be prepared for the shortages and advancing medical tyranny that the powers-that-be have in store for us.

Americans need to take charge of our lives and acquire both the resources and the skills necessary to avoid being dependent in any way on government. Those who are beholden to Powers and Principalities in order to survive will be subjugated. Those who can take care of themselves will have an easier time remaining free. Here’s the article by Emma Suttie…

Alternative Treatments for Fever and Cough

With the present shortages of over-the-counter medicines for coughs, colds, and flu, this seems like the perfect time to talk about natural remedies. These can be helpful when we either don’t have medications on hand, or simply want a more natural approach to dealing with common illnesses. Natural medicines are beneficial as they are non-toxic and support our body’s own healing process. If used at the first sign of illness, many can shorten its severity and duration. Here are some natural approaches—many used by cultures worldwide for centuries—to help get you back into tip-top shape.

    Treatments for Fever

Fevers are our bodies’ natural reaction to infection. A fever is part of a healthy immune response and communicates that we are mounting an appropriate defense against an unwanted invader. As parents, it is always difficult seeing our children sick, and it is our instinct to do whatever we can to make them feel better.

In the case of fevers, unless they are very high, it can be beneficial to let the fever do the work of fighting the infection. Fevers slow down pathogens and their replication; therefore, a fever slows down the spread and severity of an illness.

If a fever gets too high (104+), it’s a good idea to get it down. This is the work of many drugs, but this can also usually be achieved with a lukewarm or cool bath. Eating will also usually bring a fever down slightly if you or your little one feel up to it. Very high fevers burn fluids and increase the risk of dehydration. Make sure to drink plenty of clear liquids, and children can have water or diluted fruit juice for hydration and to keep blood sugar within normal range. Fevers also deplete vitamin A, so be sure to supplement with vitamin A-rich foods (like fish oils, kale, spinach, broccoli, milk, and eggs) after a bout with a fever.

    Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)

Yarrow is a common herb and is well known for its ability to bring down a fever. It is considered a diaphoretic herb, meaning it makes you sweat, helping the body eliminate toxins through the skin and urine. Yarrow also purifies and moves the blood, treats urinary infections, and heals wounds.

In a comparative study in the Pakistan Journal of Pharmaceutical Studies, yarrow demonstrated the ability to significantly reduce fevers in animal models.

research review published in Current Pharmaceutical Design in 2008 discussed the traditional use of yarrow for this purpose. “The genus Achillea consists of about 140 perennial herbs native to the Northern hemisphere. Traditional indications of their use include digestive problems, liver and gall-bladder conditions, menstrual irregularities, cramps, fever, wound healing,” it noted.

review on the biological activities of yarrow published in the Journal Current Pharmaceutical Design, mentions yarrow’s analgesic, anti-ulcer, choleretic (which stimulate the production of bile by the liver), liver protecting and wound healing abilities and that data has accumulated demonstrating its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

Yarrow regulates blood flow to the entire body and, with its ability to induce sweating, helps regulate body temperature and fluids—eliminating heat and toxins and reducing a fever.

The dried herb can be bought online and at some health food shops. Always try to buy organic when possible to avoid pesticides and other chemicals.

For fevers, drink yarrow tea (instructions below) or add 8 cups of yarrow tea to a hot bath.

    Yarrow Tea

For tea, pour 1 cup of boiling water over 1 to 2 teaspoonfuls of the dried herb and leave to infuse for 10 to 15 minutes. Drink this tea three times a day. For a fever, drink the tea hot hourly.

    Ginger ( Zingiber officinale)

Ginger is warming in nature and induces sweating, helping treat fevers and eliminate toxins. It is also used as a stimulant for problems with circulation and to soothe digestive issues.

The results of one clinical trial, published in Phytotherapy Research in November, 2022, found a combination of four plants commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine (ashwagandha, boswellia, ginger and turmeric) was effective on hospitalized moderate COVID-19 patients who received it, along with standard care.

The mixture, dubbed BV-4051 by the researcher, had noted effects.

“In BV-4051 group the mean reduction in duration of illness (p = 0.036), alleviation and severity scores of several symptoms like fever, cough, smell, and taste disorders were statistically significant,” they wrote.

research review published in Phytomedicine: International Journal of Phytotherapy and Phytopharmacology, in 2005 summarized previous research on the herb using animal models.

“Animal studies demonstrate effects on the gastrointestinal tract, the cardiovascular system, on experimental pain and fever, antioxidative, antilipidemic and antitumor effects, as well as central and other effects,” wrote the researchers.

In Chinese medicine, fresh ginger is called sheng jiang. It is a warming herb used to induce sweating, disperse cold, benefit a cough, and alleviate nausea and vomiting.

    Ginger Tea

Cut a slice or two of fresh ginger root, put it into a pot of water, and bring to a boil. Then drink as a tea. Add lemon (high in vitamin C) or honey to taste. The tea will help to induce sweating, bring down a fever, soothe any digestive upsets, and help a cough. Hot ginger tea taken at the first sign of a cold or flu can help the body build resistance and avoid infection.

    Boneset (Eupatorium perfoliatum)

Boneset is an excellent herb to treat fevers and is a great choice for colds, the flu, and respiratory infections. It can be used for phlegm, as it discourages its production and helps eliminate it from the body. Boneset also fights bacterial and viral infections and makes you sweat, helping reduce a fever. Boneset will also help ease the aches and pains associated with the flu and helps clear the body of any build-up of toxins through the bowels.

“E. perfoliatum extract has marked antiviral activity,” notes a study published in Journal of ethnopharmacology in January 2022. The researchers were studying the effects of the plant in vivo for treatment of dengue virus.

    Boneset Tea

The dried herb can be bought at most health food shops and made into a tea. Pour a cup of boiling water over 1-2 teaspoonfuls of the dried herb and leave for 10-15 minutes. It should be drunk as hot as possible. For treatment of fevers or flu, drink every half hour.

*Boneset should not be used by pregnant women or young children and is not recommended for long-term use.

    Lukewarm Baths

If a fever gets above 103, it’s a good idea to bring it down. This can usually be achieved by getting into a lukewarm or cool bath. Although this is not comfortable initially, it will temporarily lower your body temperature and reduce a fever if it gets too high. If a bath sounds too drastic, you can take a face cloth soaked in cold water and hold it up to the creases in your elbows and behind your knees to help gently reduce body temperature. Remember to keep hydrated with water, clear liquids, or diluted fruit juice.

    Cough

Cough suppressants may alleviate the symptoms of coughing but other treatments can offer similar relief with additional benefits.

    Honey

Raw honey has antibacterial, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties and has been used throughout history as a cough suppressant. It can help with seasonal allergies and lowers blood pressure and cholesterol. I prefer to use raw honey as the pasteurization process undergone by regular honey destroys many of its natural medicinal properties.

In a clinical trial published in the archives of pediatrics and adolescent medicine, one hundred and five children aged two to eighteen were given either honey, honey flavored dextromethorphan (DM) or no treatment. Of the three treatments, parents rated honey the most favorably for symptomatic relief of their child’s nighttime cough and difficulty sleeping due to a respiratory tract infection.

Honey is known as feng mi in Chinese medicine. It benefits the digestive system and is very moisturizing, particularly to the lungs. It also has a mildly laxative quality, so it should be consumed with caution if you are prone to loose stools—although its lubricating quality makes it a great treatment for constipation. Because of honey’s impressive health benefits, it is also commonly used as a daily tonic.

For a cough, take a spoonful of raw honey directly or use it to make a natural cough syrup. Taking a spoonful of raw honey twice a day will benefit a cough and help to moisturize the throat.

*Never give honey to a child less than one-year-old. Clostridium, a bacteria that causes botulism, can contaminate some foods—including honey. As a child grows, their immune systems develop and can handle the bacteria.

    Honey Water

Drinking warm water with raw honey increases its moistening and lubricating effects and is beneficial for a dry cough, sore throat, and constipation. It can be drunk as needed for cough and symptoms of dryness.

    Ginger

Ginger is an excellent remedy for coughs and helps to eliminate phlegm and other toxins from the body. Just add a few fresh slices of ginger root to a pot of water and bring to a boil, then drink as a tea to receive its beneficial effects. (see above in fevers).

    Thyme  (Thymus vulgaris)

Thyme has antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiparasitic properties. It strengthens the immune system and is an excellent remedy for coughs.

Thyme is a strong antiseptic and makes a good gargle that can be used for bronchitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis, and whooping cough. It is an excellent remedy for irritating coughs as it is an expectorant and soothes spasms. It is also beneficial for sore throats.

Thyme can be used as an essential oil or tea to boost the immune system, and a gargle is beneficial for treating throat problems and coughs. Be aware that thyme essential oil is very strong, must be diluted in a carrier oil, and should only be used externally.

review in a Polish Journal in 2016 studied thyme for coughs associated with upper respiratory tract infections. It noted that thyme is a spasmolytic, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and antioxidant agent, and found that using a drug with the addition of extracts from thyme and primrose alleviated the effects of cough and shortened its duration.

    Thyme Tea & Gargle

To make tea, pour 2 cups of boiling water over two teaspoons of the dried herb and let it infuse for ten minutes. Drink three times a day.

You can dilute the tea with additional water, let it cool, and use it as a gargle.

    Cleanse & Detoxify The Body

Your body is constantly flushing out cellular debris and various byproducts from metabolism, not to mention unwelcome substances we’ve eaten (additives, preservatives, etc) or absorbed from our cosmetics. We can help the body with these processes in several ways, including drinking plenty of pure water and eating a clean diet.

    Epsom Salt Baths

Epsom salt baths are a wonderful way to relax the body and ease the pain of sore muscles. Epsom salts contain magnesium sulfate (made up of magnesium, sulfur and oxygen) which, when dissolved in a hot bath, are thought to be absorbed through the skin. Magnesium helps ease sore muscles, and the sulfur in Epsom salts is thought to help the body release toxins. The key is to drink lots of water before, during, and after an Epsom salt bath to maximize its full detoxifying effects. Use 1 cup of Epsom salts in a warm bath and soak for at least 30 minutes to achieve the full benefits.

    Baths with Essential Oils

When you are not feeling your best, there is nothing more soothing than a hot bath. The warm water opens pores, can aid congestion, and help the body and mind to relax. Every essential oil has different qualities, so choose the ones that will benefit you and your symptoms. Add 4-6 drops to a warm bath to enjoy their healing benefits.

    Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia and others)

Lavender is relaxing to the nervous system and helps with achieving restful, relaxing sleep. Lavender has also been proven effective for improving symptoms of anxiety and depression.

study published in 2012 found that participants inhaling lavender essential oil had a significant decrease in blood pressure, heart rate, and skin temperature, and that those using the oil were more relaxed and had increased brain activity. Another study published by the Journal of Psychiatry found that using 80 milligram capsules of lavender essential oil helped alleviate anxiety, sleep disturbances and depression. The study also noted that there were no adverse effects or drug interactions when using lavender essential oil.

    Frankincense

Frankincense can be used for congestion, to reduce the symptoms of a cold or flu, and to stimulate the immune system. It also helps clear the mind and enhance mood.

In a lab study conducted by researchers at Mansoura University in Egypt found that frankincense oil strongly stimulated the immune system.

    Chamomile (Roman or German)

Chamomile is relaxing, beneficial for anxiety and depression, and is a strong anti-inflammatory and pain reliever.

A research study in the Journal Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine found that chamomile provided significant antidepressant activity. Chamomile also combines well with lavender for its soothing, calming effects.

    Orange

Orange is a beautiful oil for reducing stress, muscle tension, and anxiety.

A 2014 study published in the Journal of Complementary Therapies of Medicine found that inhaling orange and rose oils causes physical as well as psychological relaxation.

    Rose

Rose is a particularly beneficial essential oil for the skin, so adding it to a warm bath will open pores and leave your skin feeling fabulous (and smelling amazing!). Rose is also beneficial for depression and anxiety as noted in a study in the Journal Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice.

The study used 20 postpartum women experiencing depression and/or anxiety. They were split into two groups, with one being given 15 minute aromatherapy using an essential oil blend using rose and lavender oil. Aromatherapy sessions were twice a week for four weeks. The aromatherapy group experienced significant improvements in anxiety as well as a significant decrease in postnatal depression.

    Boost the Immune System

If your body is fighting an infection, you’ll want to avoid unhealthy foods and other substances that can undermine our immune system. There are also things you can do to give your immune system such much needed support.

    Black Elderberry (syrup or gummies)

Black elderberry is a potent antiviral and immune booster. When taken at the first sign of illness, black elderberry has been proven in various studies to reduce the length and severity of colds and influenza. Black elderberries are also very high in vitamin C.

The results of a clinical trial published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that the study participants using black elderberry saw a significant improvement of the symptoms of influenza (including fever) and they recovered more quickly than those in the control group.

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study published in the Journal of International Medical Research studied participants who had been experiencing flu symptoms for 48 hours or less. Participants received 15ml of black elderberry or placebo syrup four times a day for five days and recorded their symptoms. The group receiving the elderberry syrup recovered four days earlier on average and the use of rescue medication was significantly less than in the placebo group.

Because of its recent popularity, black elderberry can be found at most drug stores and usually comes in syrup or gummies for adults and children. Black elderberry is also an excellent preventative, especially if someone in your house is already sick and you want to avoid catching it.

    Vitamin C

Our bodies need vitamin C to help us fight infections and to produce white blood cells, which are a vital component of our immune systems. Vitamin C is also one of the best vitamins to boost the immune system and help us fight foreign adversaries.

An article published in Nutrients states that vitamin C exerts a multitude of beneficial effects on both the innate and adaptive immune system, and that vitamin C appears able to prevent and treat respiratory and systemic infections.

The best way to get vitamin C is through the food we eat. Below are some of the best food sources of vitamin C.

    • rose hips
    • chili pepper
    • guava
    • cantaloupe
    • oranges
    • grapefruits
    • kiwis
    • strawberries
    • papaya
    • tangerines
    • black currants
    • spinach
    • snow peas
    • kale
    • broccoli
    • bell peppers
    • tomatoes
    • Camu camu
    • acerola cherry
    • Chinese red dates

    Vitamin D

The sun is our best source of vitamin D, so getting outside and soaking up some of the sun’s rays is a beneficial daily activity and especially important when fighting pathogens. Vitamin D is critical for a robust immune system. It reduces inflammation and modulates new cell growth, glucose metabolism, and immune function.

review in the Journal Nutrients published in 2020 discusses vitamin D and its importance for a strong immune system. The study authors state that vitamin D stimulates multiple components of the innate and adaptive immune system, and that low levels of vitamin D increase the risk of developing several immune related diseases like diabetes and multiple sclerosis.

Besides the sun, there are many food sources of vitamin D, which are listed below.

    • cod liver oil
    • salmon
    • swordfish
    • tuna
    • orange juice fortified with vitamin D
    • dairy and plant milk fortified with vitamin D
    • sardines
    • beef liver
    • cheddar cheese
    • sardines
    • crimini mushrooms (and some other mushrooms)
    • pork chops
    • eggs

    Acupressure

Acupuncture is an ancient medical practice that has been around for more than four thousand years and is used to treat the entire body. Acupuncture points are located throughout the body’s surface and are all connected via internal pathways, or meridians, through which energy flows. They function as a kind of biological internet, with each point joined to every other point through a complex network of pathways running inside the body connecting to organs, muscles, vessels, and other tissues. Points can be used by themselves or in combination to bring the body back to health.

Acupressure uses acupuncture points, applying gentle pressure with a fingertip instead of an acupuncture needle. Some points on the body are known to powerfully stimulate the immune system, improve pain, alleviate congestion and reduce fevers. Learning where these points are located means you can stimulate them whenever you wish, depending on the situation and your needs.

    Acupressure Points

    Stomach 36

Stomach 36 is located approximately four finger widths below the bottom edge of the kneecap and one thumb width on the outside or lateral aspect of the shin bone or tibia. It falls into a natural depression between the two bones of the lower leg, the tibia and fibula. This point is often sore, making it relatively easy to find.

Stomach 36 is one of the strongest points for boosting immunity. It stimulates the body’s energy (or qi), benefits digestion, treats vomiting, diarrhea, and constipation, and calms the mind. It is also an excellent point to stimulate regularly to boost energy and keep your defenses strong.

    Large Intestine 4

Large intestine 4 is located on the hand between the thumb and the first finger. When you gently press the thumb and first finger together, the point is located at the highest point of the mound created. This point is sore on almost everyone and can be quite strong when needled, often having an achy, distended feeling.

Although large intestine 4 isn’t a point used specifically to boost the immune system, it is included here for its utility for many conditions, especially cold and flu symptoms. Master point for the head and face, large intestine 4 treats headaches, dizziness, congestion, swelling, and pain. It is also a point used for pain anywhere in the body, which helps treat the aches and pains associated with colds and flu.

    Large Intestine 11

Large intestine 11 is located on the arm at the end of the crease created when you bend at the elbow. The point is on the radial side, the same side as the thumb, on the outside of the arm. If you bend your arm completely at the elbow, the point is located right at the end of the crease and is quite tender on most people.

Large intestine 11 is an excellent point for clearing heat in the body and is used for reducing fevers. It is known to drain the heat causing sore throat and toothache and treats many skin conditions with heat as their source. It is a strong point for boosting the immune system and preventing colds and flu.

    Kidney 27

Kidney 27 is located on the chest, just below the collarbone, about two thumb widths from the midline. This point falls into a depression between the first intercostal space—between the clavicle and the first rib. This point is generally tender to the touch and even more so if you have an upper respiratory tract infection.

Kidney 27 is indicated for problems of the chest, like cough, wheezing, phlegm, and chest pain. Kidney 27 strongly stimulates the immune system and is excellent for those suffering from upper respiratory tract infections like bronchitis. It is also a good point to stop vomiting.

    Acupressure–The Method

You can do acupressure on these points anytime you feel run down or are sick and want to recover more quickly.

Make sure you have about 15 minutes to do the protocol so you are relaxed and don’t feel rushed.

You can start on the leg with stomach 36 and work up to kidney 27 on the chest. Starting at the bottom and working your way up, this would be the order:

    1. Stomach 36
    2. Large intestine 4
    3. Large intestine 11
    4. Kidney 27

All the points are bilateral, meaning they are on both sides of the body, so you want to do each point on both sides before moving on to the next one.

Apply pressure (whatever amount is comfortable) for 30 seconds on each point. Do both sides, then move on to the next point in the sequence.

Cycle through the points until you have done all four. You can do this once or twice a day or as needed.

    Final Thoughts

The common illnesses we encounter seem an inevitable part of life. And while we probably avoid them sometimes if we are built up enough—eating well, managing stress, and getting enough sleep—there are times we will succumb, no matter how hard we try. I always like to use natural approaches and support the body’s healing ability before I turn to medications. Nature possesses an enormous reservoir of healing wisdom if we know to use it.

7 Diseases That Will Become Deadly After Doomsday https://americanconservativemovement.com/7-diseases-that-will-become-deadly-after-doomsday/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/7-diseases-that-will-become-deadly-after-doomsday/#respond Sat, 16 Jul 2022 15:37:14 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=176189 Editor’s Note: There are multiple risks associated with a societal collapse that are centered on potable water. Access to this precious resource may be limited, which is why we strongly recommend this water filtration system from one of our sponsors. Filtered water will save lives. The standard water filters they sell at grocery stores will only make the deadly elements in tainted water taste moderately better. You need a real water filter before the crap hits the fan. Here’s Jeremiah’s article…

OP Readers, as you’re well aware, most of the focus from a medical perspective regarding diseases has been centered on the Covid pandemic. “Sideshows” have also surfaced, such as monkeypox, as well as the reappearance of avian flu (in U.S. poultry flocks and in England). Serious as these are, in a post-apocalyptic setting, they’ll take a back seat to diseases that can prove just as deadly under the right conditions; diseases that most of us either ignore or take for granted.

    Let’s jump into it.

Here are the situations that can lead to disease increase…

Nuclear war is the most likely global catastrophe to befall us in the short term. There are other profound cataclysms that can be equal or greater in severity, such as a huge solar flare that can cook the surface of the Earth, an impact by a comet or a giant meteor, a sudden pole shift with corresponding (and immediate) temperature loss, or a pandemic with a much more lethal/virulent pathogen.

Okay. Let’s say that one of these has occurred. The breakdown in “Fisher-Price land’s” infrastructure will be immediate. The loss of power (the electrical grid and the generators themselves), the loss of potable water, the cessation of all transport of food, medicines, and vital supplies, and the immediate deaths of hundreds of millions of people will be too much. The system will collapse in under a day.

All service and support mechanisms, such as hospitals, doctors’ offices, firefighting services, and police departments, will be overwhelmed, understaffed, and will end up “fizzling out” in less than a week. This will occur when the realization sets in that everything will not be coming back.

    Conditions are ripe.

The survivors of the initial event must now prepare to deal with a host of different problems. In an instant, the society will have reverted to something similar to medieval Europe, and probably worse. Diseases once thought extinct or “under control” will emerge once more to become constant, prevalent in all nations.

The raw, untreated sewage in all of the urban and suburban areas will be there, as will the mountainous landfills choked with garbage. Hundreds of millions of dead – unburied – will add to this. Ruined municipal cisterns and pipe networks will create biological nightmares. Hand-in-hand with this will be the inability to obtain fresh running water to transport the sewage, as well as for drinking.

The cities will become deathtraps for those who have survived and either haven’t escaped from them or entered them in the hopes of finding refuge and supplies. We haven’t even mentioned radiation, in the case of nuclear war, or all of the different nuclear power plants that will no longer be able to cool their reactors.

A conservative estimate places several thousand bio-research labs throughout the United States, in addition to the “biggies” located at Ft. Detrick, Maryland, Plum Island in New York (now being “relocated” to Kansas), and the CDC labs in Atlanta, Georgia. Containment will go right out the window. Some of the most lethal diseases known to man are kept in these facilities.

In the ruins and in the abandoned neighborhoods and towns, the rodents and insects will begin to spread and multiply unchecked. They will become vectors, a term to describe animals or insects that harbor/carry and spread diseases. Along with the rodents will come their passengers, the fleas and ticks. Scoff, if you will, but Europe lost two-thirds of its population in the 14th century to “The Black Death,” or Bubonic Plague. The disease was never eradicated and as such, it will be the first illness we cover.

Bubonic Plague (Yersinia pestis) and its “offshoots”

This disease is caused by a bacterium. It’s transmitted by the “passengers” listed in the previous paragraph. This is the way it works. The flea contracts the disease, and it closes off its esophageal passage.

Big deal? You bet it is.

The flea’s main food supply is blood, and when it can’t swallow and take in the amount of food it needs? It bites…again and again. In a hunger-maddened frenzy to try to feed, it hops from victim to victim, spreading the bacteria as it bites its new quarries. One flea can infect many victims (people, dogs, rodents) before it succumbs.

The happy rhyme sung by children, “Ring Around the Rosie,” has much darker implications. It’s true (original) words were such.

Ring around the rosie, a pocketful of posies

Ah-tishoo! Ah-tishoo! And we all fall down!

This referred to the bubo, a pustulent, festering mass usually found under the armpit, neck, or groin (in the lymph node areas), surrounded by a red or white ring, evidencing infection by Plague. The “pocketful of posies” referred to fresh, aromatic flowers to ward it off. “Ah-tishoo” is sneezing, a late symptom of the illness just prior to the victim’s earthly departure…which is the “falling down” part.

But wait…there’s more! The plague can also be transmitted by inhaling the bacteria, in which the symptoms and afflictions are much worse…going right into the lungs…hence, becoming pneumonic plague. Death is almost certain unless it’s treated immediately after infection.

Then there’s the possibility of septicemic plague, where either by a bite or inhalation, so many bacteria go into the bloodstream that the person dies from a form of septic shock.

Symptoms are high fever, nausea, pain in the joints, vomiting, dizziness, and severe headache.

    Giardia (Giardia lamblia)

Giardia poses a major problem, especially when untreated, unclean water is taken in. After a post-apocalyptic scenario, the options may be limited between dying of thirst or taking the chance of contaminated water. Boiling water for 30 minutes will do the trick.

Giardia lives in the intestines of the infected person, and one bowel movement will release millions of the organisms, a protozoan. Diarrhea is the biggest (and most severe) symptom. It’s serious because the infected person can quickly become dehydrated. Giardia can also form cysts, and this is what makes it very serious. They are resistant to chlorine (bleach).

Cysts are a robust form that the Giardia can live in when conditions are not favorable for it…and they can remain in this dormant state of near hibernation for months. The surest way to deal with them is by boiling the water, prolonged, for 30 minutes or more.

As you might have guessed, transmission here is the fecal-oral route, and this is why it will be so predominant in a post-collapse environment. With limited fresh water, survivor hygiene will be difficult, and it will be easy to transmit the Giardia if the proper sanitary precautions aren’t taken. We’ll cover those procedures shortly.

     E. coli (Escherichia coli)

We’ve heard of this bacterial infection breaking out plenty of times in the news. My personal favorite was when Roger Riney (the former CEO of Yum Foods) came on TV about 15 years ago to tell everyone that Taco Bell was “safe to eat in once more,” after people ran to the emergency room after “running to the border.”

“Yum” foods, eh? All kidding aside, an E. coli infection can kill. The bacteria produce deadly proteins and toxins. Poorly-cooked ground beef is usually the culprit in the food industry because the organism thrives in cattle. Fecal-oral is also a vehicle of transmission, once again being preventable with good sanitary procedures.

More than 75,000 people per year become ill from it, with around 60 to 70 dying from it annually. Take note: this is under ideal conditions, where hospitals and medical treatment are available. It attacks the intestines and kidneys and can cause renal failure in the latter. Severe stomach cramps and diarrhea occur, and the stool is usually red. This is because hemorrhagic colitis has occurred, where the lining of the intestines is so damaged that the intestines are actively bleeding.

If the bacteria enter the rest of the body? Then the kidneys shut down because of hemolytic uremic syndrome, and high fever arises. The death rate is 15 out of 100 at this stage. Once again, that rate is under current (ideal) conditions, but in “The Day After Doomsday,” that rate will increase dramatically.

    Hepatitis A

Here’s our first viral disease. The primary route of transmission is fecal-oral, especially from contaminated water, contaminated utensils, or eating fish/seafood taken from contaminated waters. Usually, the patient will carry it for anywhere from 14 to 45 days before it manifests itself. Sickness of the stomach, fever, fatigue/tiredness, yellowed eyes, and dark urine are some signs and symptoms.

These will last from 2 to 6 months. If you get through it, then you will have acquired immunity from it if you encounter it again. The biggest thing to keep in mind here is proper sanitation and the proper (complete) cooking of your food. In a world similar to the movie The Road keep in mind that a debilitated body is much more susceptible to disease, as well as being sluggish and less inclined to follow proper hygiene and sanitation.

    Cholera (Vibrio cholerae)

Another bacterial infection, this one is very serious; a water-borne illness that can kill a person within 24 hours. The primary method of transmission is from drinking infected water or eating contaminated food. The disease presents with a fall in blood pressure, severe pain and cramps in the stomach and legs, and a sudden drop in body temperature that accompanies organ failure.

Within 24 hours, the patient can die without immediate medical treatment.

If the patient makes it, though, he or she can still transmit the disease for up to 15 months by shedding particles of bacteria. This disease runs rampant where municipal sanitation facilities have failed. In 1885, a severe storm with heavy rains hit Chicago. The sewers flooded and then spilled into the city’s drinking-water supply, a lake on the edge of town.

Cholera struck, and more than 80,000 people died from this outbreak.

Those are serious numbers. With cholera, supportive care measures are crucial, such as hydration. Water and salts are the “biggies” that a person will lose, due to the diarrhea, which is crippling and almost uncontrollable, with a “thin” consistency like rice-water.

(Lack of food is a huge cause of disease after a disaster. So, make sure you read our free QUICKSTART Guide to building your 3-layer food storage system.)

    Rabies (Family Rhabdoviridae)

For an idea of the severity of the aggressive symptoms and the rapidity of onset, I recommend watching the classic movie Old YellerMammals (both wild and domestic), including dogs, cats, raccoons, cattle, and even bats…can transmit rabies through bites or scratches. The virus moves from the point of infection (bite, scratch) into the nerves and then to the brain via the spinal cord.

Eighty percent of the patients develop severe paranoia, along with an aversion to any water (hence it was termed “hydrophobia” back in the mid-19th century, from the Greek, meaning “fear of water”). Eventually, the victim cannot breathe. The remaining 20 percent have “dumb” leprosy, which renders them sluggish/paralyzed until they pass away.

The incubation period lasts from one week, to up to six years.

An incubation period refers to the time from initial infection, to the time when the signs and symptoms of that infection begin to take effect. Keep in mind: the asymptomatic patient (showing no signs of illness, but they’re infected) can transmit the disease. A person could walk around and not know he or she is infected and still pass on that infection to someone else.

Bottom line: treatment (the Rabies vaccine) is only effective if the signs and symptoms have not started yet, so speed is of the essence.

There are around 10,000 cases or more in the U.S. annually, and few deaths, but worldwide, more than 50,000 people die from it per year. It’s a very serious disease.

    Typhus

Again, the flea is one of the main culprits of transmission (a vector); the flea carries the bacteria Rickettsia typhi. Culprit number two is the louse (lice), and they carry the bacteria Rickettsia prowazekii.

Severe headache and fever present themselves by those infected within 6 to 14 days after having been bitten. Within a week, rashes appear on the torso, front and back. Most people recover when these rashes disappear. Others pass out into a coma after renal (kidney) failure.

There are preventative measures to keep you safe from disease after the collapse.

Ben Franklin was spot on when he wrote, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Your first step to preventing these not-so-serious-now diseases from taking hold of you or your family: be aware of the conditions that are favorable for them, and know about each one of them individually.

This won’t take too much effort, as the Internet will enable you to download comprehensive information on each disease. Do what I did: allocate a three-ring binder with your diseases in alphabetical order. Research the methods of transmission, as well as the treatments for them.

I’m not going to delve into treatment for them; this article is for informational purposes, to give you an insight into what we’ll all be facing if the “substance” hits the fan. For medical advice, you’ll have to talk to your State-approved, licensed, happy physician, “Dr. Doolittle,” if you can pry him off his golf course and get a straight answer out of him.

We live in a soft-socialist state, transforming into a totalitarian nation by the day. If anything, that is the reason to prepare, and not just with “supplies.” You have to study and learn, because the primary care provider just may end up being you.

The keys will be good hygiene and sanitation.

You have to uphold this for yourself and instill it into others so that they “run with the ball.” Everyone in your family/group has to make these a priority. Let’s throw these priorities into a list to follow to get the ball rolling.

    1.  Boil all water: standing surface, flowing, or suspected water prior to drinking it, or washing with it. Boil any water you’re not 100% sure that it’s safe and clean.
    2.  Establish a latrine/bathroom point: away from your water and food supplies, and do a controlled burn periodically (no longer than weekly).
    3.  Personal cleanliness and handwashing: absolute musts. This will help to eliminate transmission, especially by the fecal-oral route.
    4.  Preparation of food: Utensils must be clean and sanitized, and the food must be cooked entirely. The days of Beefsteak Tartar, and Sushi bars will be over at this point. You’ll have enough to deal with, without being bedridden or worse because of some uncooked food.
    5.  Sanitize your common areas of living: Clean and air out your bedding, inspecting for any insects that may be vectors. Wipe down surfaces that you may be using to prepare your meals.
    6.  Protect exposed/standing water supplies: (water drums, pools, open wells: cover these up with screening to help prevent mosquitoes from producing larvae in the water.
    7.  “On the Move.” This means, although you’re prepared and ready with all of your supplies in your fortress in the woods, you may be forced to leave your location. No matter what the situation, you have to carry out those first six steps.

With your research, you’ll learn what antibiotics and medicines to stockpile. Another biggie: if you can’t obtain it over the counter or through regular channels, you better know where to find it. Watch the films World War Z, and Greenlandwhere the protagonists had kids with medical conditions. Watch the “mob” scenes at the pharmacies carefully.

You may find yourself in a similar situation, and it would be helpful to know where to obtain things in your locale. Enough said on that.

    Summary

The greatest insight comes when disastrous situations occur, and you see human nature at its roots for what it is. Yeah, we all “hope for the best,” but start preparing yourself mentally for what may be lurking just around the corner. We’ve outlined some basic diseases, and believe it or not, the best preventative measures are simple to place into operation.

When you’ve lived in the woods a long time, or been in the field on deployments, you understand the practicality (coupled with the necessity) of field hygiene and sanitation. With a collapse – in any of the forms mentioned at the beginning of this piece – you’ll have to rely on your wits and initiative to make it through after the initial occurrence. You’ll have to fight smart, not just hard, in order to defeat the pathogens.

They’re not evil. They’re organisms, trying to survive in the manner that they know how, that is instinctive to them. If you understand that going into it, then your focus can be placed on the steps you must take to defeat them, and to negate the conditions under which they thrive and multiply. These are the basics…the building blocks to lay your foundation with in your survival community, regardless of its size.

Think with your head and also with your heart. Prioritize what we’ve covered. You have to “game” it from a scenario that you may even be caught away from home…with next to nothing, except what is on your person or in your vehicle. “Game” the entire spectrum of possibilities in your mind and on paper. You can do it! Others may be depending on you, so first and foremost, have faith in yourself.

Keep in that good fight, and pray without ceasing. JJ out!

    What are your thoughts?

Are there any diseases you would add to this list? Do you have any additional suggestions for preventative measures? Share your opinions in the comments.

Editor’s Note: Again, I cannot stress enough the importance of properly filtered water. Boiling is not enough to eliminate all of the risks. Thankfully, this water filtration system is currently on sale. It couldn’t have come at a better time.

Covid Jabs Linked to Surge in “Demonic Possessions,” Religious Leaders Say https://americanconservativemovement.com/covid-jabs-linked-to-surge-in-demonic-possessions-religious-leaders-say/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/covid-jabs-linked-to-surge-in-demonic-possessions-religious-leaders-say/#respond Sun, 19 Jun 2022 07:38:06 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=173581 There are now so many “fully vaccinated” people showing strong signs of demonic possession that a new St. Michael Center for Spiritual Liberation and Exorcism is opening up in Manila, Philippines.

According to reports, the new site will be dedicated to performing exorcisms on people who got jabbed for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). Father Jose Francisco Syquia says he receives about 10 reports every single day of demons infesting the bodies of the jabbed.

The Roman Catholic Church is responsible for erecting the facility, which is reportedly the first of its kind in Asia. Priests will be trained in the art of expelling demons, and Syquia, the director of the archdiocese, will hold the position of chief exorcist.

The official story is that the plandemic and all of its stressors are responsible for the uptick in demon possession, but the reality is that the jabs are also a major contributor (Related: Demon possession has been on the rise for many years now).

“A product of more than seven years of prayers, planning and fundraising, this will be the first of its kind in Asia, if not the world,” the archdiocese announced.

“This center will minister to those in bondage to the devil, who are therefore the poorest of the poor and are usually overlooked.”

Syquia says demons have “texted” him following exorcisms

The facility will have special rooms for not just exorcisms but also interviews and counseling.

“Full possession,” according to Syquia, only accounts for about 20 percent of all exorcisms performed by the Roman Catholic Church. The majority, he says, are performed on people who are being “harassed physically” by evil spirits.

In the past three to five years, Syquia added, there has been a “sharp increase” in witchcraft activity taking place inside people’s homes, which is also a factor in the current crisis.

The first Vatican-endorsed course on exorcisms was introduced in 2005, and it will be used to train priests not only in Manila but all around the world in the art of casting out demons (or so they say) from people’s bodies and lives.

The Manila facility will serve as the headquarters of the Philippine Association of Catholic Exorcists, also known as PACE, which falls under the Catholic Bishop’s Conferences of the Philippines.

After performing the exorcism ritual on some people, Syquia says the demons that were cast out later “texted” him. In one instance, he claims to have seen a woman levitate after becoming possessed, only to have the demon later send threatening messages to his office phone.

While Syquia was talking to the woman and her companion, the phone was in a completely different room, he says.

“The devil has power over anything electrical,” the archdiocese is quoted as saying, adding that the message he received from the alleged demon accused him of being a sinner and a liar.

“If this place is infested, for example, and they want their presence known, usually the lights would flicker. If I give a talk and use a certain gadget, the devil would easily shut it down because he is an expert in anything electrical.”

In the United States, demon possession is currently at a fever pitch, especially now that we have entered “Pride” month. Children everywhere are being dragged by their parents and guardians to parades and bars where transgender drag queens are flashing their fake body parts and reading them books about “gender identity.”

“Demon activity and even possession are clearly on the rise,” wrote someone in response to the news about the new exorcism facility. “Those who dabble in the occult and witchcraft are especially vulnerable.”

Covid Exposed the Medical-Pharmaceutical-Government Complex https://americanconservativemovement.com/covid-exposed-the-medical-pharmaceutical-government-complex/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/covid-exposed-the-medical-pharmaceutical-government-complex/#comments Sat, 18 Jun 2022 17:54:08 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=173550 In college, I took a Latin American Politics and Development class. When discussing Latin American medical care, Professor Eldon Kenworthy presented a deeply countercultural idea. Echoing a journal article by the scholar, Robert Ayres, Kenworthy maintained that building hospitals there costs lives. If, instead of erecting, equipping and staffing gleaming medical centers, this same money and human effort were devoted to providing clean water, good food and sanitation, the public health yield would be much greater.

United States medical history bears out Ayres’s paradox. The biggest increases in US life expectancy occurred early in the Twentieth Century, when people had increasing access to calories and protein, better water and sanitation. Lives lengthened sharply decades before vaccines, antibiotics or nearly any drugs were available, and a century before hospitals merged into corporate Systems.

Incremental American life span increases during the past fifty years reflect far less smoking, safer cars and jobs, cleaner air and less lethal wars more than they reflect medical advances. Books like Ivan Illich’s Medical Nemesis and Daniel Callahan’s Taming the Beloved Beast echo Ayres’s critique. But PBS, CNN, B & N, the NYT, et al. censor such views.

The American medical landscape has changed radically in the forty years since I learned of Ayres’ observation. America spends three times as much, as a percentage of GDP, on medical treatments as it did in the 1960s.

By 2020, America devoted 18% of its GDP to medicine. (By comparison, about 5% goes to the military). Adding the mega-costs of mass testing and vaccines etc., medical expenditures might now approach 20%. Although the US spends more than twice per capita what any other nation spends on medical care, American ranks 46th in life expectancy. US life expectancy has flatlined, despite growing medical spending and broadened medical access via the vaunted Affordable Care Act.

Though medicine’s high-cost and relatively low yield are right in front of anyone who thinks about their medical experiences and those of people they know, most never connect the dots; more medical treatments and spending are continually advocated and applauded. There’s a regressive “if it saves—or even slightly extends—one life” medical zeitgeist/ethic.

As most medical insurance is employer-based, most people don’t notice annual premium increases. Nor do they see the growing slice of tax revenues used to subsidize Med/Pharma. Thus, they continually demand more stuff, like IVF, extremely high-cost drugs, sex changes or psychotherapy, as if these were their right, and free. To say nothing of these treatments’ limited effectiveness.

As all are required to medically insure and to pay taxes, one can’t simply opt out or buy only those medical services that one thinks justify their costs. With massive, guaranteed funding sources, aggregate medical revenues will continue to climb.

Thus, Medical-Industrial-Government Complex has become a Black Hole for today’s wealth. With great money comes great power. The Med/Pharma juggernaut rules the airwaves. Nonexistent until the 1990s, hospital System and drug ads now dominate advertising. By being such big advertisers, Med/Pharma dictates news content. Analysts who point out that lavish medical expenditures don’t yield commensurate public health benefit have small audiences. Med/Pharma critics can’t afford ads.

Medicine has fed Coronamania. The TV news I’ve seen during the past 27 months painted a very skewed picture of reality. The virus has been misrepresented—by the media and government, and by MDs, like Fauci, often posing in white jackets— as a runaway train that’s indiscriminately decimating the American populace. Instead of putting into perspective the virus’s clear demographic risk profile and the very favorable survival odds—even without treatment, at all ages, or promoting various forms of contra-Covid self-care, including weight loss—the media and medical establishment incited universal panic, and promoted counterproductive mass isolation, mass masking, mass testing, and treatment with ventilators and expensive, often harmful anti-virals.

Later, mass injections were added to the “Covid-crushing” armamentarium. While the shots created many billionaires, and greatly enriched other Pfizer and Moderna stockholders, they failed, as Biden and many others had promised, to stop either infection or the spread. All of the many whom I know who have been infected in the past six months were vaxxed.

Many—whose voices are suppressed by mainstream media—observe that the shots have worsened outcomes, by driving the development of variants, weakening or confusing immune systems, and causing serious near-term injuries.

Further, people blindly, ardently believed in the shots simply because they were marketed as “vaccines” by bureaucrats wearing medical garb. Despite the shots’ failure and the failure of other “mitigation” measures like lockdowns, masking and testing, many refuse to concede that Med/Pharma has had much—overwhelmingly negative— influence over the society and economy and public health during Coronamania. Nonetheless, many billions of dollars have been—and are still being—spent to advertise shots that most people don’t want.

The Covid overreaction has to some extent also piggy-backed on TV programs that have, for decades, glorified medicine in TV shows like Dr. Kildare, Marcus Welby, M.D., Medical Center, MASH, Gray’s Anatomy and House. Wearing white coats connotes virtue, just as did wearing white hats in Western movies.

Given the cumulative PR onslaught of the ads and shows, medicine is widely seen as more effective than it is in real life. A few years ago, I heard some woman-in-the-street say, during a TV news clip, “If they make me change my doctor, it will be like losing my right arm.”

Many hold such polar views. Medicine is the new American religion. Given such fervent belief in medicine’s importance and the sense of entitlement regarding expanding medical treatments, government and insurance money is relentlessly overallocated to medicine.

Do these expenditures improve human outcomes? During the first Scrubs episode, resident J.D. complains to his mentor that being a doctor was different than he had envisioned; most of his patients were “old and kind of checked out.” His mentor responds, “That’s Modern Medicine: advances that keep people alive who should have died a long time ago, back when they lost what made them human.”

This largely describes those said to have died with Covid. Most people have disregarded that nearly all who died during the pandemic were old and/or in poor health. Most deaths have always occurred among the old and ill. Occasionally, sitcoms keep it realer than real people do.

Aside from not helping much and misspending resources, and extending misery, medicine can be iatrogenic, i.e., it can cause illness or death. Hospital errors are said to cause from 250,000 to 400,000 American deaths annually. Perhaps medical personnel try to do a good job. but when the bodies of old, sick people are cut open or dosed with strong medicine, stuff happens. Even well-executed surgeries and many medications can worsen health.

Further, though few know it, a brew of excreted medications and diagnostic radionuclides daily pours down drains across the US and world and ends up in streams and rivers. For example, the hormones in widely-prescribed birth control pills feminize and disrupt aquatic creatures’ reproduction. There are books about all of this, too, though such authors never appear on Good Morning America.

Faith in medical interventions also lessens individual and institutional efforts to maintain or improve health. If people didn’t abuse substances, ate better and moved their bodies more, there would be much less demand for medical interventions. And if people spent less time working to pay for medical insurance, they could spend more time taking care of themselves and others. Overall, America could spend a fraction of what it spends on allopathic medicine and yet, be much healthier. There are also plenty of books about this.

Given its place at the center of American life for 27 months, and counting, Covid has been—and will be—used to further intensify the medicalization of individual lives, the economy, and society. By exploiting and building an irrational fear of death, the Medical Industrial Complex will promote the notion that we should double—or triple—down on medical and social interventions and investments that might marginally extend the lives of a small slice of the population. Or, in many instances, shorten lives.

But most people who live sensibly are intrinsically healthy for many years. Given enough nutritious food, clean water and a decent place to sleep, most people will live a long time, with little or no medical treatment. While intensive medical interventions can marginally extend the lives of some old, sick people, medicine can’t reverse aging and it seldom restores vitality.

If the media were honest brokers, the Covid mania would never have taken hold. The media should have repeatedly pointed out that the virus only threatened a small, identifiable segment of a very large population. Instead, captive to its Med/Pharma sponsors, the media went full-frontal fearmonger and promoted intensive, society-wide intervention. Social, psychological and economic catastrophe ensued.

Additionally, many doctors who could have spoken against the Covid craziness stayed silent so as not to jeopardize their licenses, hospital privileges or favored status with Pharma, or just because they were schooled in allopathic orthodoxy and hold fast to that faith. Props to those courageous few who broke ranks.

The Med/Pharma/Gov establishment, including the NIH and CDC, hasn’t saved America during 2020-22. To the contrary, Covid interventions have worsened overall societal outcomes. These net harms should have inflicted—and, depending on longer-term vaxx effects, may yet inflict—a big black eye on the Medical Industrial Complex.

If so, Med/Pharma will spend tens of billions of PR money to distort what’s happened for the past 27 months, and to portray well-paid medical personnel, administrators and bureaucrats as selfless heroes. Many gullible Americans will buy this slick revisionism, including its portrayals of healthy-looking people walking in slow motion on beaches or across meadows in golden light, accompanied by a contemplative solo piano soundtrack.

Water, Energy, Medicine: The Resources They’re Using to Build Control Mechanisms https://americanconservativemovement.com/water-energy-medicine-the-resources-theyre-using-to-build-control-mechanisms/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/water-energy-medicine-the-resources-theyre-using-to-build-control-mechanisms/#comments Wed, 08 Jun 2022 04:49:46 +0000 https://noqreport.com/?p=171745

One of the necessary measures the New World Order needs in order to achieve their vision of The Great Reset is for certain essential resources to be completely under their control. Water, energy, and medicine are among them, and are grouped as the third control-factor I listed recently in an episode of The JD Rucker Show. Today, we’re talking about these and why patriots must make themselves as independent as possible.

    Water

The vast majority of Americans are completely beholden to public and private supplies of water. We get it from our faucets, bottled water from stores, and delivered for some in the form of bulk containers of water. Considering just how important water is to life, it behooves Americans to break free from dependence or we may find ourselves forced to bend to the will of a near-future tyrannical government.

Storing water is important for most. Some have easy access to wells, river, lakes, or abundant rain to provide their fresh water for extended periods, but most would be in trouble if the faucets and stores stopped providing us with this essential for life. Storing water takes space and often plenty of money. On top of that, stored water can be very easily contaminated. Those who do not want to be beholden to government should do what they can to story water. Filtering it is also imperative, which is why I strongly recommend one of our sponsors for water filtration.

    Energy

We’re already feeling the pain at the pump. Many are seeing their electric bills go up, and before the end of the summer it’s almost certain everyone will see this manufactured phenomenon. Then, we get into colder weather and the experts are already warning of natural gas costs going up dramatically.

There are many threats that could cause blackouts and other energy shortages. It’s not just the government, though the measures they’re putting into place seem to make them the prime suspects. It could come from cyberattacks, natural disasters, or unnatural disasters.

It’s a best practice to acquire strong ways to have energy available when you need it. This can mean solar generators for some. That’s what we use, though I cannot make a valid recommendation because I’m not sure I purchased the best ones. Fuel for heating and cooking such as wood and charcoal are also extremely important.

    Medicine

This is the one that gets complicated. Millions of Americans are dependent on prescription medications to maintain their lifestyle or even to stay alive. Unfortunately, there aren’t a whole lot of alternatives for some.

There are two things every American family should do in case access to medication becomes scarce or controlled by public-private partnerships with draconian requirements. First, talk to your doctors about getting as long of a supply as possible. Be mostly honest with them; you may not want to say you’re concerned about the New World Order using medicine to control you, but it wouldn’t be crazy to say you’re concerned about the supply chain and rising costs in the future so you want a longer supply on-hand.

The second thing to do is to seek alternatives. For some, this is impossible, but for many there are natural remedies or alternative sources for medication that can replace the current prescription drugs you’re taking. I’m not a doctor so I cannot make any recommendations, but speaking to your doctor or consulting with someone in holistic medicine may behoove you to do before it becomes a life-threatening issue.

    Get Ready

As many of my readers and listeners know, I have never been one to embrace conspiracy theories, at least not before the last two or three years. But now that we’re seeing some of the old “debunked” theories present themselves as long-standing realities, it has become very necessary to take them seriously. We are aware that the powers-that-be are trying to usher in a utopia, at least for themselves, that will make the vast majority of people beholden to them. We must do what we can to maintain our own independence.

This is not just a public service announcement for the sake of being a good guy. I’m being selfish in calling on as many Americans as possible to remove their attachments to government. I know that if and when the crap hits the fan, the fewer people who are beholden on government, the easier it will be for us to fight back or rebuild when the dust settles. We should all want as many of our fellow Americans as we can alert to be aware of how to stay independent.

For some, that means getting off the grid and escaping society as much as possible. For others, this is simply impossible. But regardless of your situation, there are steps you can take to mitigate the dependence you may have in the near future. We can make it through this, Lord willing, but even if we don’t the most important thing to do is to maintain our faith. Christians know how the story ends, and even as we go through challenging times we can take heart in knowing that eternity will be worth any suffering we go through in this life.
