The murderer was a Black man with a rap sheet that dates back to 1996. Laws, if enforced, would have prevented him from owning the firearm he used to shoot women and girls. Therefore, it’s not a story that most in corporate media will want to cover.

According to News Nation:

A suspect in Tennessee died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound while on the run Sunday after a series of shootings that killed four of his female relatives and seriously injured a fifth person, police said.

Officers found the body of Mavis Christian Jr., 52, in his car during a manhunt following shootings at three locations in Memphis that left three women and a teenage girl dead and a teenage girl critically wounded, the Memphis Police Department said.

Police said Christian was related to the victims but could not immediately specify how they were related. The names of the victims have not yet been released.

There are two types of “mass shootings” in the eyes of corporate media. Those that advance their gun-grabbing agenda get massive amounts of coverage that includes “expert” commentaries, biased analysis, and emotion-driven calls for action. Those that do not advance their gun-grabbing agenda get buried.

If this is true, it puts the entire incident in different context. It was clear from the bodycam video during the initial traffic stop that the former police officers involved were being extremely aggressive. Was this due to some or all of them knowing the victim and possibly holding a jealous grudge? It’s being investigated by Memphis Police. According to Newsweek:

The Memphis Police Department is currently investigating rumors regarding a possible connection between Tyre Nichols and the ex-wife or ex-girlfriend of one of the Memphis cops arrested and charged in Nichols’ death.

On Wednesday morning, Newsweek asked the Shelby County district attorney’s office if it is investigating possible rumors connecting Nichols to the ex-girlfriend or ex-wife of former Memphis cop Demetrius Haley. Additionally, Newsweek asked about rumors that Haley sent photos of Nichols to his ex-wife following the violent arrest of the 29-year-old Black man.

“All of this is still under investigation. Those are the things, along with the participation of others, that [are] now the subject of our investigation,” a spokesperson for the Shelby County district attorney told Newsweek in response.

Erica Williams, the director of communications at the Shelby County district attorney’s office, clarified to Newsweek that rumors about Nichols having a connection to the woman have not been “confirmed.”

The family of Nichols has denied the rumor. According to The Police Tribune:

At a candlelight prayer vigil on Tuesday night the family of Tyre Nichols addressed scandalous rumors that have been spreading online that alleged the late 29 year old had been engaging in an affair with a Memphis police officer’s wife.

Rodney Wells, Nichols’ stepfather, brought up the rumors while he was talking about his stepson at the vigil outside his home, WHBQ reported. “Don’t anybody believe that mess,” Wells told the assembled crowd. “They trying to get out of this. But they’re not.”

The grieving father was referring to online rumors that claimed Nichols’ had worked with one of the officer’s wives at FedEx and had engaged in an illicit relationship with her, TMZ reported.

With idiots like Stephen Colbert and Whoopi Goldberg making dumb statements attaching this incident to racism, learning that there may have been a personal grudge involved could change the narrative. We already know there were clear recruiting and hiring problems within the Memphis Police Department, problems that likely stem from the rise of the Defund Police movement. If the dating rumor is confirmed, it would put another nail into the systemic racism narrative’s coffin.

However, there are certain circumstances when pre-weekend releases are intended to spark a very different type of response. In the case of the release of the Tyre Nichols arrest video, the intention by the leftists collaborating at every level is to set Memphis and other cities across the country on fire this weekend.

That’s likely not the intention of Memphis Police who have been convinced that a pre-weekend release will draw down violent protests. But they’re being manipulated by those who know the release could spark another round of sustained rioting similar to the George Floyd riots of 2020. Unfortunately, much of the push is being done by the known puppets of the powers-that-be, namely the Biden-Harris regime and corporate media.

CNN race-baiter Van Jones primed the pumps with a ludicrous story about how this attack is still racist despite the fact that all former police officers involved are black:

If you live in a metro area, stay frosty. If you live in Memphis, stay home. It’s going to get violent, just as they planned.

The Biden-Harris regime has not responded to either hideous crime.

The reason is obvious. The facts about these cases go against the Democrat narrative and expose how soft-on-crime policies do massive harm to innocent American citizens. As Julie Kelly from American Greatness noted on Twitter:

Nothing from DOJ Civil Rights division on how these monsters deprived innocent Americans of their civil rights and will be punished? No federal hate crime investigation? No stern warnings about crimes that “threaten our democracy?” Not a single word so far.

Americans are going to be pressed to forget these heinous crimes and to focus where the Biden-Harris regime wants us to focus: On J6, Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, and other non-criminals. Meanwhile, the real criminals are ignored.

Leftists on social media went so far as to victim-blame Fletcher, wondering why she didn’t know “the rules” about jogging at that hour in a city like Memphis. Some of the comments were disgusting on their face, but they also betrayed a deeper problem we’re facing as a nation. Law and order have been replaced in many areas of the country with these so-called “rules” that mean American citizens should expect violence.

It’s the normalization of criminal dysfunction as the prevailing, unspoken law of the land. And as Carlson emphatically said, it must be stopped immediately before everywhere is Memphis.

“Our entire country will be Memphis if we don’t put a stop to this insanity right now with as much force as is required,” he said.

Watch it all the way through to the end. He’s absolutely right. But even as crime turns once-safe cities into playgrounds for violent degenerates, Democrats continue to promote the very “equity” that rewards evil and punishes good. They reward failure and punish success.

They blame victims while defending the guilty.

This isn’t just about crime. It’s about the degradation of every facet of American life. We are being pushed down the Cultural Marxist road of viewing outcomes as necessary to equalize rather than opportunities and rights. This is the most dangerous trend our nation has seen in modern history because there is no possible end to this other than societal collapse if it isn’t reversed immediately.
