The libertarian Cato Institute released the report, which graded states by spending, revenue and taxes. The top ten states in the rankings starting at the top are Iowa, Nebraska, West Virginia, Arkansas, South Dakota, Montana, Hawaii, Georgia, Idaho, and Vermont.
The bottom ten states, according to the analysis, are New Mexico, Missouri, Oregon, Michigan, Wisconsin, Delaware, Washington, Maine, New York and lastly, Minnesota.
The bottom six states received a grade of “F.”
Walz’ poor rating comes just weeks before the presidential election where he and his running mate Vice President Kamala Harris are in a nearly tied race with former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio.
The report explains the reasoning for Walz’ low score, pointing to a series of tax hikes under his leadership as well as spending increasing by 36% since 2022, from from about $52 billion to nearly $71 billion.

]]>In a then-Twitter post, Walz offered families who jabbed their children aged five through 11 a $200 reward, which he saw as a fitting amount to forever ruin the immune systems of little ones throughout his state.
“That’s cash in your pocket for starting the year off right by protecting your child from COVID,” Walz declared in the post, dated Jan. 11, 2022.
Dubbed “Kids Deserve a Shot,” the program from Walz was eventually ended and the Twitter post in question removed. Perhaps Walz is embarrassed now about what he did, or maybe it’s bad for he and Kamala Harris’ chances of getting elected this fall?
“Minnesota families who get their child 5-11 years old fully vaccinated in January and February can get a $200 Visa gift card,” read the official website for Kids Deserve a Shot.
“Parents / Guardians can register their 5- to 11-year-old once they have completed their two-dose series.”

Walz also created college scholarship lottery baiting young Minnesotans into getting COVID jabbed
In addition to the $200 gift card scheme, Walz also set up a taxpayer-funded lottery system offering five $100,000 scholarships to five children aged five through 11 whose parents agreed to get them injected for the Chinese virus.
“All Minnesotans 5-11 years old who completed their first and second doses at any point in time will be eligible to be entered for a chance to win a $100,000 college scholarship,” the website for that scheme explained.
As all of this was happening, Walz also set up a snitching hotline for Minnesota’s COVIDiots to rat out their non-compliant neighbors for violating his stay-at-home orders.
“A hotline set up by Gov. Tim Walz’s administration to monitor compliance with his 2020 stay-at-home order generated thousands of reports from Minnesotans who snitched on their neighbors for things like playing basketball in a park, walking their dogs, and throwing small parties,” Alpha News reported.
Shane Trejo of Big League Politics says Walz deserved to be put behind bars for his many crimes against humanity throughout the “pandemic.”
“Gov. Walz deserves to be behind bars with the likes of the American Mengele Dr. Anthony Fauci for crimes against humanity for his COVID policies,” Trejo wrote in a post on his Substack.
“Kamala Harris’ choice of Gov. Walz as her Vice President ought to be interpreted as a declaration of war against the American public.”
At the first Kamala Harris for president rally he attended in Philadelphia, Walz thanked Kamala for putting her trust in him as well as for “bringing back the joy” to the Democrat Party with her essence.
Kamala repeatedly called him “Coach Walz” at the rally, to which he told the crowd that he used to go by “Mr. Walz” back when he was a high school teacher. Walz also shouted to the “old white guys” in the crowd, this being a reference to an internet joke about Sen. JD Vance, Trump’s running mate.
Donald Trump in a recent appearance on Fox News called Walz “a very, very liberal man” and “a shocking pick” for Kamala.
“I could not be more thrilled,” Trump continued, the suggestion being that he is now a shoe-in thanks to Kamala’s pick of Walz as her running mate.

]]>Edward Siedle, an independent pension investigator, claims that the state-run Teachers Retirement Association (TRA) has only disclosed less than 10% of the $2.9 billion in fees it spent over the past decade. He also criticized the TRA for reporting gains that barely exceed its own benchmarks by 0.2%, which he described as “virtually impossible.”
“Even Bernie Madoff didn’t claim to beat the market every single year — and certainly not by the exact same percentage,” Siedle said, and referred to the TRA performance as a “Madoff miracle under Walz’s watch.”
The late financier Madoff orchestrated the largest investment fraud in Wall Street history, pleading guilty in 2009 to running a Ponzi scheme that swindled thousands out of their life savings.
Walz, who has been serving as chairman of the Minnesota State Retirement System since January 2019, oversees $140 billion in state employee funds, including $28.2 billion for teachers, the outlet reported.
“I don’t know if the man had any pre-existing knowledge of finance or pensions, but as chairman, he should have educated himself,” Siedle said. “Pension board members have a fiduciary duty to monitor fees, and to ensure that the investments’ performance is accurately disclosed.”
Katie Dickerson, a teacher nearing retirement, testified in February that despite high contribution rates, there have been no improvements to the retirement system, leading to extended work years and significant penalties for early retirement.
“Not only do we have a high contribution rate to TRA, but we . . . are forced to work many more years unless we are willing to be hit with huge penalties,” Dickerson reportedly told the Minnesota’s Legislative Commission on Pensions and Retirement.
For FY 2023, the TRA reported an 8.9% return and $24.19 million in management fees. But Siedle estimates actual fees to be between $334 million and $467 million, or 5% to 7% of TRA’s private assets. Even a 1% fee would total $280 million — over 10 times the reported amount. Siedle’s requests for investment documents have not yet been fulfilled by the TRA or state agencies.
Siedle’s report notes that the Minnesota attorney general and state auditors, who typically investigate such issues, are on the same state pension board chaired by Walz. Consequently, Siedle filed a whistleblower complaint with the SEC and FBI in July, according to The Post.
The Harris-Walz campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

“I’m incredibly proud of the model of cogovernance we’ve built in the 5th District, which has included monthly town halls, routine constituent service resource fairs and a brand new district office,” Omar told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “I’ve brought over $40 million to the district in the form of community projects—including a brand new affordable housing facility for veterans in Robbinsdale that I toured this weekend.”
“As a leader of the House Budget Committee and Progressive Caucus, I’ve continued to fight for the progressive values Minnesotans sent me to advocate for—whether it’s fighting to codify Roe v. Democratic Minnesota state representatives introduced legislation that could end the exclusion of pedophilia from legal protections of sexual orientation in state law.
The state’s existing anti-discrimination law excludes sexual attraction to children from legally protected sexual orientations, but HF 1655 would remove that exclusion. The bill describes itself as “removing certain sections in the human rights act that allow for discrimination based on sexual orientation.”
The phrase “‘sexual orientation’ does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult” would be struck from the legal definition of sexual orientation if the bill passes. Sexual orientation is a protected legal class in Minnesota in areas of employment, housing, public accommodations, public service, educational institutions, credit and business discrimination.
The legislation also creates a legal definition for gender identity and specifies that gender identity may not match one’s biological sex and may not be visible to others.

Leigh Finke, who is listed first among the bill’s authors, is transgender and frequently speaks out against legal restrictions on child sex changes. Finke did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment, but did make a statement on Twitter in response to blowback against the bill.
