Trump leads Vice President Kamala Harris by 16 points among men, while Harris holds a 16-point advantage among women across all the battleground states, according to a Sunday New York Times/Siena College poll. The voters, featured on journalist Mark Halperin’s “The Morning Meeting,” expressed surprise at backing Trump, saying they no longer trust the media’s portrayal of him.

WATCH:

“I can’t believe I’m voting for Trump,” a law school student named Lauren said, telling Halperin she has only voted for Democrats in past elections. “It started with COVID things … For me, this election is like a referendum on the elites way more than it is anything about Trump or Harris. specifically. And I recognize, like I live in D.C., I’m about to be a lawyer. It doesn’t matter.”

“After years of being yelled at about misinformation and disinformation and conspiracy theories, and after, like, for this past, year actually doing my research on what Trump did, not just what he said, but what he did in his first term and realizing the media’s lies and then seeing the media’s lies this past year, I mean the amount of work that you have to do as someone who’s not surrounded by a conservative bubble to actually figure out like the nuanced truth of what’s going on is insane,” she added.

Lauren also said she is backing Trump because of Israel, criticizing Harris and President Joe Biden for their handling of antisemitism. She also said she was “really inspired” by the team Trump has assembled during his 2024 campaign.

Halperin asked Lauren later if she is “pro-choice” and she said she was, but added she favors “keeping abortion to the states,” which Trump supports.

“I feel like a lot of his positions are pretty moderate and I think that moderate positions are best for the country right now,” she added.

WATCH:

“I think I’m supporting Trump, which is crazy for me. I very much resonate with what Lauren said earlier,” a California voter named Megan said, adding that the people she knows who are around her age of mid-twenties to early thirties appear to be supporting Trump.

“I think that COVID had a huge impact on how I view the media … it really led me to question a lot of what the media was saying, which sort of, you know, led me to look into a lot of other things. And I sort of had always bought into the media narrative around Trump, which I now disagree with,” she added. “I don’t agree with Trump on a lot of things and I’m very pro-choice, but there are certain issues that I really think that he is right on about.”

An Appeal to Pro-Lifers to Put a Patriarch Back in the White House https://americanconservativemovement.com/an-appeal-to-pro-lifers-to-put-a-patriarch-back-in-the-white-house/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/an-appeal-to-pro-lifers-to-put-a-patriarch-back-in-the-white-house/#respond Tue, 29 Oct 2024 06:13:26 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/an-appeal-to-pro-lifers-to-put-a-patriarch-back-in-the-white-house/ (WND)—Last week WND published my article “Have Obiden and the Clintons cut a deal with Trump?” I explained why I think they did and in the process touched on the issue of abortion, and the choice of some Christians not to vote for Trump because he refuses to take a fully purist pro-life stance in this election. I call that decision – in context – “shameful, stupid, and unbiblical” for reasons I’ll let you read for yourself.

I’ll add here I have no problem with people deciding to stay completely out of politics in favor of just prayer to God to produce good results supernaturally, which He most certainly can do. There’s no hypocrisy in that stance. But if you decide to engage in social policy setting in the necessarily compromise-based political realm, you can’t simultaneously pretend to be a true purist, because every vote involves risk/benefit analysis about imperfect choices. It’s utterly unavoidable. And in this election, the risk is that Kamala Harris will win and reverse every pro-life victory Trump won for us in 2016-2020, resulting in the deaths of potentially millions of unborn babies that would otherwise be saved under a Trump second term.

Trump may not support a total ban on abortion right now (which is not achievable in today’s political climate), but he’s not going to stop chipping away at the baby-killing industry in doable steps – or undo the amazing, unprecedented work he’s already done for the babies. Are you going to let the Whore of Babylon win the White House because Trump is playing politics on hypotheticals?

Since I’ve stuck my neck out this far, I’ll stretch it a little more. A woman responded to my article with this:

“I read your WND columns and respect your political savvy. A question keeps confronting me: what is the underlying reason for the intense zeal and passion abortion proponents have for that ‘freedom’? What specifically do the demons do for them, their lives and fortunes in recompense for these sacrifices to Molech? I know their passion cannot be to simply protect their hedonistic lifestyles from life-trajectory-changing unwanted parenthood. I know practitioners of Santeria and Mexican American witchcraft often petition their spirit contacts to bless them financially, romantically or to execute vengeance on a target, and that radical pro-aborts are occult-affiliated as well. What’s Satan repaying them with? Thank you in advance, Dr. Lively.”

I replied:

“You might not like this answer, but support for abortion is mostly rooted in rebellion against the patriarchal order established by God as a foundation stone of human civilization. As Paul summarized in Ephesians 5:22-24, there is a specific sex-based order all humans (married or not) are subject to that is evident from the first pages of Genesis and was never rescinded or modified by God. ‘Women’s liberation’ from ‘patriarchal oppression’ was embraced by Lenin and incorporated as an early pillar of Soviet Marxism, ironically having its first major international victory in the U.S. – in the passage of the 19th Amendment by Congress in June of 1919, ratified by the states in 1920. The Marxists had been hard at work for a quarter century or so in the U.S. when they scored that win giving voting rights to women.

“Abortion is much more about Feminism than Satanism, which explains why the issue really IS ‘choice’ for so many women who would never actually murder their own child. It is the choice personally and collectively to reject male authority in favor of independence from the God-ordained order. The ‘right to abortion’ is the perceived guarantor of that right – without which the burdens of pregnancy and child-rearing would prevent women as a social class from competing with men as a social class vocationally and politically.

“Abortion is just a symptom of the deeper spiritual problem of rejecting God’s guidance in favor of Secular Humanist reasoning – the return of human sacrifice being the most poisonous fruit of it.”

In many ways America’s most fateful election was granting women the right to vote against the wishes of their husbands in matters specifically ordained as his area of responsibility. I believe every evil turn in public policy has occurred as a result of that election (technically a state-by-state series of them) because subjective emotionalism replaced objective rationalism as both the standard for policy and the means for swaying public opinion. This is not to say that all women are equally susceptible to subjective emotionalism or all men are equally driven by objective rationalism but these are obvious and valid stereotypes generally speaking, and that’s all that matters to social engineers. In a “representative democracy” it’s all about getting a simple majority – so “empowering” women to shape public policy while emasculating men to promote emotionalism in them is a win/win for them.

That’s why we’re largely ruled today by irrational raging Feminists and Beta-Male “Soy Boys.” And those are the very people who hate and fear Trump the most because he is an unashamed Alpha-Male who symbolically and practically represents the return to patriarchy.

I believe that the 19th Amendment would never have been ratified if the voters of that day could have looked into the future and seen its consequences. Conversely, I don’t think it’s possible or desirable to reverse it at this stage: Pandora’s Box has simply been open so long we’re no longer the same society. BUT, God’s natural order is organic and self-organizing. If we just drain the swamp and clear out the weeds, His garden will grow back, quickly producing many new and healthy examples of true masculinity and femininity, true marriages and a thriving network of natural families – God’s eco-system for human civilization.

That’s my expectation from Trump’s second term, which I hope every pro-life Christian will join me in voting for.

Pro-Life Kids Booted From Famous U.S. Government Building Finally Win https://americanconservativemovement.com/pro-life-kids-booted-from-famous-u-s-government-building-finally-win/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/pro-life-kids-booted-from-famous-u-s-government-building-finally-win/#comments Sun, 24 Dec 2023 21:22:03 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=199703 (WND)—It’s a victory for students who were ejected by the National Archives and Records Administration from a Washington, D.C., museum for wearing T-shirts with pro-life messages.

report from the American Center for Law and Justice confirms the organization was assured such a situation would not be allowed to develop again.

The ACLJ reported, “As we told you, at the start of mediation, our clients’ objective was to find out who was responsible for the targeting, how and why it happened, and to ensure that something like this does not happen again. We have achieved just that.”

It continued, “In documents filed yesterday with the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., the National Archives’ Chief of Management outlined the investigation conducted into the targeting of our clients following the events on January 20, 2023. The NARA official’s affidavit provided details about who was responsible for the targeting (a security guard hired by NARA and employed by Allied Universal) and outlined steps taken by NARA officials to ensure this doesn’t happen again and additional training provided to security officers.”

The ACLJ reported further that, “the official investigation into the targeting is detailed in a report released by NARA and conducted by security for NARA, Allied Universal. Much of the ‘who,’ ‘what,’ and ‘how’ is documented by Allied in this report.”

It was last winter as the annual March for Life was going on that students were trying to visit some of Washington’s museums.

“Several government institutions targeted pro-lifers, kicking them out or forcing them to remove or cover up pro-life attire in violation of their First Amendment free speech rights,” the ACLJ reported.

The organization had sued the NARA “for targeting pro-life visitors,” and the federal agency immediately agreed to an injunction halt the harassment.

It also sought mediation.

The ACLJ pointedly noted, “Ironically, the National Archives is the home of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, and the Bill of Rights, commonly referred to as the ‘Charters of Freedom.’ On January 20, 2023, our clients – a grandmother, a law student, and a high school student at a Catholic school – all visited the National Archives at different times that day to view these documents. To our clients’ horror, each was told by armed guards to take off their religious, pro-life apparel or leave the museum.”

The security officer stunningly claimed the apparel would “incite others.”

The report said, “The National Archives will also pay each of our clients a monetary sum in acknowledgment of the violation of plaintiffs’ rights and the harm caused to them. Our clients will also be granted special access to security video of the events that transpired at the National Archives on the day in question to confirm for themselves certain representations that have been made by NARA officials.”

And, the NARA “has entered into a Consent Order and is ‘ENJOINED’ from prohibiting visiting members of the public to NARA facilities from wearing attire containing religious and political speech.”

Appeal Brief Filed in State’s Attack on Pro-Life Activists https://americanconservativemovement.com/appeal-brief-filed-in-states-attack-on-pro-life-activists/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/appeal-brief-filed-in-states-attack-on-pro-life-activists/#respond Sun, 18 Jun 2023 17:47:33 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=193720 The American Freedom Law Center says it has filed its opening brief in the Michigan Court of Appeals contesting the felony convictions of four Red Rose Rescuers who peacefully entered an abortion business in Flint, Michigan, in 2019 to try to save unborn babies – and their mothers – from abortion’s injuries.

“This case involved the peaceful exercise of conscience by four individuals (the Red Rose Rescuers) who object to abortion on moral and religious grounds and who understand firsthand the harm caused by this horrific procedure to both the unborn babies and their mothers. At most, this was a misdemeanor trespass case. Unfortunately, the pro-abortion prosecutor transformed it into a felony. The rescuers are now seeking justice in the Michigan Court of Appeals,” explained AFLC senior counsel Robert Muise.

The brief explains:

On June 7, 2019, [the rescuers] peacefully entered the Women’s Health Center in Flint, Michigan—an abortion center. No violent act was committed by any [rescuer]. No violent act was threatened by any [rescuer]. No [rescuer] assaulted, battered, or wounded any police officer. No [rescuer] possessed any weapons. No [rescuer] fled or attempted to flee the scene upon the arrival of the police officers. [The rescuers] were peaceful throughout. Yet, [they] are now convicted felons for what amounts to a peaceful trespass.

[The rescuers] remained on the premises of the abortion center that day to witness for life and to remain in solidarity with those who would be harmed by abortion. The police officers arrested [the rescuers] for refusing to leave the abortion center (a simple trespass charge). Upon their arrests, [the rescuers] engaged in a time-honored act reminiscent of the civil rights movement that is often described as “passive resistance,” although that description is inaccurate here because [the rescuers] offered no resistance—they simply went limp. [The rescuers] explained to the officers that they could not morally assist with their own arrests. As a matter of conscience, [the rescuers] could not assist the officers with their arrests because doing so made them morally complicit in the killing of innocent lives. But [the rescuers] did nothing that prevented the officers from exercising their police authority and arresting them. [The rescuers] were in fact arrested and carried off the property.

The legal team continued, with an explanation that “There is a difference between actively resisting or actively obstructing an arrest and simply not assisting in your own arrest, particularly when the arrestee’s conscience prohibits such active participation, as in this case.”

The protesters simply were abiding by their sincerely held religious beliefs.

The legal team, in addition to seeking reversal of the felony convictions, is seeking reversal of a lower court’s decision that denied them jury instructions on the defense of others and necessity.

AFLC co-founder David Yerushalmi added, “We all watched with horror as Antifa and the Black Lives Matter movement engaged in damaging acts of violence throughout the country with impunity. On a daily basis, we witness Leftwing, Soros-funded prosecutors turning a blind eye to serious and violent crimes, allowing their cities to become ravaged by violent criminals. Yet, here, we have a prosecutor in Flint, Michigan—a crime-ridden city—pursuing felony charges in this case. There is undoubtedly a two-tiered system of justice in our country. Something has to change.”

It was the Daily Caller News Foundation that reported only days earlier that in nearby New York, Attorney General Letitia James sued members of the Red Rose Rescue group.

James’ lawsuit argues that RRR’s history of trespassing and interference at abortion clinics makes the group dangerous and that it was her responsibility to protect New Yorkers from “terrorists.” The attorney general made the announcement during a press conference alongside Planned Parenthood New York Action Fund/Planned Parenthood Greater New York Executive Director and Chief External Affairs Officer Dipal Shah and several other abortion advocates, the foundation report said.

Democrats Cheer on Pure Evil as Satanic Temple Sues in Federal Court to Overturn Abortion Bans Over “Religious Rights” https://americanconservativemovement.com/democrats-cheer-on-pure-evil-as-satanic-temple-sues-in-federal-court-to-overturn-abortion-bans-over-religious-rights/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/democrats-cheer-on-pure-evil-as-satanic-temple-sues-in-federal-court-to-overturn-abortion-bans-over-religious-rights/#respond Mon, 03 Oct 2022 21:10:14 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=182340

The Satanic Temple continues to be the best champion for radical leftists who want to overturn abortion bans that are popping up in red states across the nation. Democrats have tacitly accepted that this is really about “Satanic Abortion Ritual,” and therefore helped frame this issue in a way the Christian conservative right has always viewed it: Good vs Evil.

The context of this move cannot be dismissed. For the Satanic Temple to claim it’s a religious right to kill a preborn child is acknowledgement of what they and the left truly desire. This isn’t about a woman’s bodily autonomy. It’s about a religion’s need to sacrifice children. Some leftists may balk at that characterization, but the devil is in the details.

According to Axios [emphasis added]:

The Salem-based Satanic Temple is suing Indiana and Idaho in federal court over their abortion bans, arguing they violate the religious rights of people in those states. The Satanic Temple filed its complaint against Idaho on Friday, a week after filing a similar one in Indiana…

In latest lawsuits, the temple argued each state’s ban violates the rights of people who took contraceptives and still became pregnant, denying the right of an “involuntarily pregnant woman” to engage in the “Satanic Abortion Ritual.”

Well, that’s pretty straight forward. The Satanic Temple and other religious groups such as the Church of Satan need preborn babies to be aborted as part of their faith. This coincides perfectly with historical and Biblical references to child sacrifices to deities such as Baal.

Some may object to tying this with Democrats, but here’s the thing. You aren’t seeing anyone on the left saying they oppose the premise behind the lawsuits. They’re not saying, “Hey, we don’t agree with them but if that’s what it takes to give us our consequence-free sex back, right on!”

Instead, they’re staying silent or outright cheering it on as de facto support for killing a preborn baby as part of a “Satanic Abortion Ritual.”

Democrats who do not speak out against these lawsuits are giving tacit support to the notion that abortion is necessary for pagan baby sacrifices to continue unabated in the United States. They justify embracing evil because in their minds, the ends justify the means.

7 Things Pro-Lifers MUST Do in Post-Roe America https://americanconservativemovement.com/7-things-pro-lifers-must-do-in-post-roe-america/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/7-things-pro-lifers-must-do-in-post-roe-america/#comments Sat, 25 Jun 2022 19:12:54 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=174143

Now that Roe v. Wade has been officially overturned, it’s time to celebrate!

Alright, that’s enough. Celebration over. Now it’s time to get back to work. This victory is the most important one the pro-life movement has ever had, but it really only marks the beginning of the bigger phase of the war against the murder of pre-born babies. This wasn’t the culmination. It was the ticket to entry into the true arena.

On the latest episode of The JD Rucker Show, I discussed 7 things pro-lifers need to do now that Roe v. Wade is history, literally. It’s good that I didn’t write up this article yesterday shortly after the live broadcast. My mode at the time was primal; I was driven by a combination of emotion and purpose. Now that it’s a new day, the emotional high is gone (which is a good thing for lucidity) and I am even more driven by purpose.

There are many things that have changed. America is different now compared to just last week. We have a long road ahead if we want to truly win the war. Let’s get started…

Prepare for Riots

We saw what happened last night when Antifa, Jane’s Revenge, and unaffiliated anti-life domestic terrorists took to the streets across the nation to express their rage. This is why the first thing I recommended was to prepare for riots, and I was right. Not that it’s a big deal to be right about that one since everyone with four brain cells could have predicted how the radical left would respond, but it’s still concerning that so many people really did take to the streets. I called on listeners to record everything, but it seems like we didn’t really need to since the abortion apologists were busy recording themselves.

Spread the Truth About What Happens Next

We need to do what we can to educate the masses about what this means. Unfortunately, corporate media is already spewing fake news about where this will lead. The reality is there will be a wide range of laws passed by the states that generally align with how red or blue the legislators and governor are. Some states have already banned abortion. Others have announced no real restrictions. Attention-hound Gavin Newsom even took the opportunity to announce the west coast Axis of Evil with Washington and Oregon as they pledge to defend a woman’s right to kill her child before birth.

Getting this truth out is important because people are already making dumb choices based on the lies. One lady proudly announced she had her fallopian tubes removed because she didn’t want children. She’s a victim of the disinformation because, as a Virginia resident, abortion up to15-20 weeks will almost certainly become the law of her state. She could have maintained her reproductive capabilities and still had as many abortions as she wanted.

That’ll Teach ‘Em: In Preparation for Roe v. Wade Getting Overturned, Anti-Life Democrat Has Fallopian Tubes Removed

There are certain other facts that need to be highlighted. Justice Clarence Thomas took the opportunity of having a worldwide audience reading or hearing about his desire to overturn other woke laws, including gay marriage. The left is already playing off of that with Democrats sending out fundraising letters in hopes of using Thomas and the overturning of Roe v Wade to improve their midterm election chances.

Some conservative pundits have expressed dismay over Thomas’s admission. I’m proud of him. Even if the chances of overturning the laws that he mentioned are so slim it’s nearly an impossibility, it’s still the right move for him to reveal his desires. Samuel Alito is probably the only other Justice who would support these moves, which means they could not get overturned today. Maybe someday. We should keep a spark of hope. After all, I didn’t think Roe v Wade would be overturned in my lifetime. Praise God I was wrong.

Tell Senators We Oppose Court Packing

Court packing is an obvious next move by Democrats who have hoped to reverse the first originalist lean the court has had in a long time. Donald Trump, with the help of Ruth Bader Ginsburg not retiring under Barack Obama, saw to it that the court would lean conservative which resulted in the Roe v Wade reversal. Combine that with the 2nd Amendment ruling the day before and Democrats have some momentum to try to pack the Supreme Court.

There is nothing in the Constitution that requires nine Justices. Ramping it up to 13, which the Biden regime could do if Democrats retain control of the Senate, would mean seven progressives, two originalists, three conservatives, and a milquetoast centrist Chief Justice.

Republicans winning control of the Senate is not as likely as taking control of the House. Even if they win, having Mitch McConnell as Senate Majority Leader means we have no idea whether he’d side with his buddy Biden. It’s imperative that pro-lifers and conservatives in general continue to adamantly oppose packing the court. Those on the fence such as Senators Joe Manchin, Kyrsten Sinema, and moderate Republicans should hear from us regularly on the issue.

Debunk Midterm Election Lies

The fourth thing we need to do is fight the rising midterm election lies. Pelosi already came out yesterday to say abortion was on the ballot in November. She’s partially right because they will try to pass legislation codifying a version of Roe v Wade. The only thing stopping them now is the election itself. With less than five months until voters go to the polls, it seems likely Democrats will stall on trying to pass abortion legislation so they can use it as a reason for them to stay in power.

It’s all a lie. Unless they could get a filibuster-proof majority that included anti-life Republicans Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski (who may not even survive the primary in August), they cannot pass pro-abortion legislation. They won’t mention that in their campaign emails.

As for state elections, this is where abortion really comes into play. Most if not all states will have laws on the books regarding abortion, but that doesn’t mean it will be a moot point on election day. Things change. Legislators change. Laws can change.

Encourage Pro-Abortionists to Vote With Their Feet

Since the 2016 election, some on both sides of the aisle have talked about America dividing. It’s happening a bit already with some blue states getting bluer and some red states getting redder. The abortion issue can have a one-sided effect that can be beneficial for conservatives and America.

For conservatives living in blue states, not much will change with Roe v Wade being overturned. The same is not true for leftists living in red states. They may find living in a state that has restrictions on abortion is too much for them to bear. As a result, they may want to move to blue states. We should encourage that.

From a purely strategic perspective, it behooves conservatives to want leftists consolidated in the bluest states. That prevents them from electing Democrats in purple or red states. It also means fewer Democrat Senators. Lastly, it aids Republicans in the Electoral College.

Focus on Local Elections

This may seem like a repeated step since I already covered how state elections will determine abortion laws in each state, but it’s worth discussing from a different angle. We’re not just talking about this election. We should be talking about every election going forward.

As I’ve long said, local, city, county, and state elections have a far-greater impact on our day-to-day lives than national elections. Of course, the Biden regime is doing everything in their power to change my mind with idiotic policies that are destroying the nation, but they’re the exception to the rule and came into power through fraudulence. Even Donald Trump and Barack Obama had less impacts on the lives of individual Americans than the politicians and bureaucrats who live near us.

Abortion affords those of us who recognize the importance of local elections the opportunity to refocus voters. We need as many conservatives to pay close attention to local elections as possible. School boards, for example, are finally coming into focus after being left-dominated for decades. We are seeing the challenges that our complacency has brought, and now we’re finally fighting back. The same can be said about every other position from governor all the way to dog catcher.

The Cultural Battle

Now we finally get to the most important action we must take in a post-Roe America. Abortion has been a cultural war for decades, even before Roe v Wade, but for whatever reason most in the pro-life movement have focused on the political battle. As a result, we finally got a victory after five decades but we’re losing the cultural battle. Some polls show as many as 70% of Americans support some access to abortion. Granted, even more support some restrictions on abortion, but the point is we have not convinced the nation that abortion is fundamentally wrong.

Now that the political battle in DC is essentially over, most pro-lifers are saying it’s time to take the battle to the states. It’s conspicuous that I did not list that as something we should be doing moving forward. Its omission is a reflection of my belief that the battle will only be worthwhile to fight in a handful of states. You can fight all you want but you won’t get California to restrict abortions. Conversely, Oklahoma Democrats aren’t going to get their abortion agenda passed.

By no means am I suggesting the state-level fight is not worthwhile for many. But considering it’s the action plan now for literally every pro-life group out there, I’m simply suggesting alternatives, including the one that should have been the primary focus from the start.

The cultural war is the real war. It is imperative that we use the tools we have such as videos and images depicting abortions. It has been demonstrated over and over that the easiest way to make someone rethink their pro-abortion stance is to educate them on what happens as a result of the laws they support.

We also need to have moral, ethical, and religious discussions with people. We have the high ground. The science is on our side. With no tangible “trigger” moment between conception and birth, it makes no sense to set arbitrary timeframes when a “clump of cells” magically becomes a human. A better way to look at it is there are no discernable moments between conception and birth when a preborn baby is no longer part of the mother’s body. The mother is attached to the child throughout pregnancy. When does her right over her body end and the baby’s right to life begin? If we cannot answer that question, then we must “err” on the side of the baby.

There are better people than me to strategize about how to win the cultural battle. I’m not one to lead it, so I defer to those with better understanding. All I know for sure is that it’s the right battle to be waged in a post-Roe America. The time to do so is upon us.
