Fox News Digital questioned these organizations about their sudden rejection of the “border czar” label, asking whether the Harris campaign had influenced their decision. Most did not respond.

PolitiFact rated the claim by Republicans that Harris, as border czar, was “put in charge of stopping illegal immigration” as “Mostly False.” Katie Sanders, the editor-in-chief of PolitiFact, clarified that the fact-check was not influenced by external pressures but was part of their ongoing coverage of political talking points.

USA Today similarly ruled it “false” to say she was “put in charge of the border” and that her role was “more limited” than what a border czar would do. Both USA Today and PolitiFact emphasized their independence and adherence to fact-checking standards.

The White House, however, has used these fact-checkers to bolster their narrative about Harris’ role. Axios, in particular, faced criticism for its role in perpetuating the “border czar” label, later updating its 2021 article and adding an editor’s note acknowledging the mistake.

CNN also went through a drastic shift. During the Biden-Harris administration, multiple correspondents and commentators referred to Harris as the “border czar,” including analyst Alyssa Farah Griffin.

But this week, CNN anchors including Jake Tapper, John Berman and Kasie Hunt have rebuked the title.

“[Former President Trump] said she was Joe Biden‘s border czar. She wasn‘t,” CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale said Wednesday. “She was never put in charge of the border. She was given a much more limited assignment to lead a so-called root causes diplomatic effort trying to address the reasons in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras that people choose to migrate.”

“Many Republicans scoff at this kind of fact-check, they’re like ‘There were a bunch of articles back in 2021, they called her ‘border czar.’ Frankly, those articles were wrong,” Dale added, touting the outlet’s own reports at the time that didn’t embrace the term.

Several hosts on MSNBC similarly pushed back against the label. Symone Sanders, who previously served as Harris’ chief spokeswoman in the Biden administration before joining the network, lumped in the border czar claims against her former boss with “misinformation” about the VP.

“People are going to have to challenge the misinformation,” Sanders said Wednesday on “Morning Joe.” “You already hear folks talking about the ‘border czar.’ She wasn’t the ‘border czar.’ She did diplomacy in Central America, but the campaign is going to have to make that case.”

ABC’s Jonathan Karl sang from the same sheet of music, saying, “She wasn’t the border czar. That’s what Republicans labeled her. She was given the job of dealing with all the migration that was coming up from Central America. But they will portray her as the one that was in charge of the border, which of course is issue No. 1 for Republicans.”

CBS News pushed back on the label with multiple segments dedicated to the subject on its streaming channel.

“Vice President Harris was not a border czar,” CBS anchor John Dickerson declared in one of the segments before a correspondent elaborated on what her role was.

“Ms. Harris was not, in fact, appointed border czar, nor was she tasked with addressing the broader problems plaguing the border itself,” the Times wrote last week. “Rather she was deputized by President Biden with the diplomatic mission of solving the ‘root causes’ of migration from countries like Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, tackling the issues that spur people to flee in the first place, like drug violence and lack of economic opportunity.”

According to Watts Up With That, these green billionaires are using the Los Angeles-based Good Energy for this climate brainwashing. The group has reportedly told writers that showing anger, depression, grief or other emotion in relation to the climate crisis, “can only make characters more relatable.” To further push this climate alarmism to the media-consuming masses, it has published a so-called playbook to incorporate these narratives into movies and TV shows.

Good Energy’s efforts to push climate alarmism in Hollywood wouldn’t be possible without billionaire backing. The article aptly named these backers – Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Sierra Club, and the Climate Emergency Fund (CEF). The CEF incidentally bankrolls activists from Just Stop Oil, who have gained notoriety for defacing artworks with orange paint and blocking roads. While Good Energy was founded in 2019, its influence seems to be growing within the West Coast’s film industry – with Rolling Stone magazine publishing a feature on the group. According to the magazine, the group is “dedicated” to ensuring that 50 percent of contemporary TV shows and films acknowledges “climate change” within three years.

One of its “standout” projects was the “Extrapolations” series on Apple TV+, which was directed by Scott Z. Burns and starred Meryl Streep. The show, which was said to be the first mainstream show centered entirely around climate, explored how the planet’s “changing climate” will affect family, work, faith and survival.

Good Energy wants to BRAINWASH the public about climate

Good Energy also suggested some tips for writers to normalize “climate-friendly” actions in the playbook. These include characters that “eat a plant rich diet,” “attend a [climate] protest” or “upcycle vintage clothes.” It also suggested that if stories have a yacht, then these should be powered by solar energy or other renewables.

“Indigenous people are the first climate scientists, and indigenous people are leading us through the climate crisis,” said the playbook, touching on wokeism. It added that climate can be a “generative lens with which to view any subject or character” and “the emotional truth is as important as the literal truth.”

The playbook also encourages the portrayal of so-called “climate-friendly” lifestyles not as elitist or unattainable, but as within the reach of the average person. But in reality, only the elites can afford such lifestyles.

Chris Morrison, environment editor for the Daily Sceptic, pointed out a prior example of this climate brainwashing. “It is unsurprising that the power of film and TV to influence large audiences is being captured to promote a political message,” he said.

“During the 2021 COP26 meeting in Glasgow, seven soap operas … in the United Kingdom – including ‘Coronation Street’ and ‘Eastenders’ – joined forces to highlight climate change. Most of the plot lines were clumsily inserted into existing storylines and in an era of declining audiences, the experiment does not appear to have been repeated.

Based on Morrison’s account, there’s still hope. Many viewers are tired of woke propaganda and climate brainwashing being shoved down their throats.

Two key principles include protection from “unsafe or ineffective systems” and preventing algorithmic discrimination through “proactive equity assessments.”

As attention spans decline, especially among the youth, controlled algorithms and chatbots become gateways to shape perceptions. ACLU raises several concerns

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), in a press statement, said that while the order takes significant steps by mandating agencies to safeguard civil rights and liberties in the use of AI within governmental programs, it falls short of adequately addressing AI applications in national security and lacks robust safeguards against law enforcement’s AI utilization – crucial federal domains fraught with considerable risks.

The order specifically excludes AI systems involved in national security, encompassing areas such as surveillance, immigration and border activities that routinely impact Americans. Instead, these systems are deferred to a future policy memorandum. The use of AI in law enforcement undergoes an interagency process and necessitates a report on the current applications of AI within this domain.

ReNika Moore, director of the ACLU’s Racial Justice Program, expressed encouragement for the administration’s acknowledgment of the need for a comprehensive approach to combat discrimination and real-world harms arising from AI and automated systems. However, she noted the administration’s deferral of addressing tools in national security and law enforcement, areas witnessing widespread AI deployment with profound impacts on liberty, equity and due process.

Cody Venzke, senior policy counsel in the National Political Advocacy Department at the ACLU, emphasized the pervasive integration of AI into daily life and its exacerbation of discriminatory harms in various sectors.

While recognizing the executive order’s invocation of existing civil rights authority to combat discriminatory AI across the government, Venzke raised concerns about the order’s failure to provide protections against AI in law enforcement, particularly the role of facial recognition technology in contributing to false arrests, and in national security, encompassing surveillance and immigration.

Courier Newsroom, a network of websites that appear to be local news outlets but work to boost Democratic candidates, received $1.2 million from New Venture Fund, Hopewell Fund and the Sixteen Thirty Fund, nonprofits managed by Arabella Advisors. The Sixteen Thirty Fund is not required to disclose the source of its funding due to its 501(c)(4) nonprofit tax status, leading some to accuse the fund of operating as a dark money group.

New Venture Fund gave the network $940,000, Hopewell Fund gave it $100,000 and Sixteen Thirty Fund sent $125,000 to Courier Newsroom.

Courier Newsroom runs a network of websites that present as “local news” and publish positive stories about Democrats in nine states, according to its website. The group says it is planning to launch new websites focused on New Hampshire and Texas soon.

UpNorthNews, covering Wisconsin, and the Copper Courier, focused on Arizona, were among the news operations under Courier Newsroom pumping out articles targeted at states holding high-profile elections in 2022.

Wisconsin was a key state in 2022, with vulnerable incumbent Republican Sen. Ron Johnson up for reelection and a competitive governor’s race on the ballot.

UpNorthNews published stories in 2022 rounding up the purported ways Democrats had helped Wisconsin under Biden, criticizing Republican efforts to cut taxes, accusing Republicans of being election deniers, attacking Sen. Johnson and providing positive coverage for a liberal Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate.

Arizona, where the Copper Courier focused its efforts, was of similar electoral importance to Wisconsin in 2022. The races for the governor’s mansion and one of the state’s Senate seats were considered competitive by pollsters.

The Copper Courier ran articles and made posts in 2022 accusing the Republican nominee for attorney general of being a conspiracy theorist, promoting Democrats running for state legislature and accusing a Republican state house candidate of being an election denier, among other things.

Some liberal outlets, like the Daily Beast and Jacobin, have published articles critical of Courier Newsroom’s network.

“Media outlets have fallen like dominos for the seduction of political partisanship,” Ryan Zickgraf wrote for Jacobin, a publication that describes itself as “a leading voice of the American left.”

Conservatives have also criticized Courier Newsroom.

The 2022 midterms were not the first elections Courier Newsroom was active in.

Courier Newsroom paid for digital ads to place articles published by their media operations in the news feeds of Facebook users in the lead-up to the 2020 elections, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

Tara McGowan, who founded Courier Newsroom in 2019, is a Democratic political operative. McGowan worked on Barack Obama’s reelection campaign, as a Democratic senator’s press secretary and has held positions at several liberal advocacy groups, according to her LinkedIn page.

Arabella’s dark money network wasn’t the only major player to transfer funds to Courier Newsroom in 2022. George Soros’ philanthropic network, for instance, has also funded the organization to the tune of millions of dollars.

Fund for Policy Reform, a group founded and funded by Soros, gave Courier Newsroom $2.5 million in 2022, matching the $2.5 million it gave the group in 2021.

Courier Newsroom is ramping up its activities ahead of the 2024 elections.

The group is expanding its network of newsletters, podcasts and video content, Semafor reported.

Courier Newsroom wasn’t the only media operation to receive support from Arabella’s dark money network.

Capital B News, “a Black-led, nonprofit local and national news organization reporting for Black communities across the country,” received $950,000 from the New Venture Fund and the Windward Fund in 2022, both of which are managed by Arabella Advisors.

States Newsroom, a network of local news websites similar to Courier Newsroom’s, received $14,045 from the Hopewell Fund in 2022.

Rewire News Group, a pro-abortion news website, got $12,550 from the Hopewell Fund, while the New Venture Fund gave $125,000 to the 19th News, a feminist outlet.

Courier Newsroom, the Sixteen Thirty Fund, the New Venture Fund, the Hopewell Fund and Arabella Advisors did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s requests for comment.

(Mercola)—In an April 3, 2023, Substack article,¹ investigative journalist Michael Shellenberger exposes Renée DiResta as one of the key architects behind the censorship industrial complex (a term coined by Shellenberger himself).

In it, he draws many of the same conclusions I did a year ago, when I dissected DiResta’s “Shooting Starlings” essay.² In my December 7, 2022, article, I pointed out that DiResta appears to be a key player in the censorship of Americans, and that behind her public persona hides direct connections to the globalist deep state.

Why Did DiResta Hide Her CIA Connection?

DiResta is the research director for the Stanford Internet Observatory, founded in June 2019 to promote internet censorship policies and conduct real-time social media narrative monitoring. As I pointed out in December 2022, she’s also connected to the CIA, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).³

DiResta’s CIA connection was revealed by her supervisor, Alex Stamos, during a presentation (video above). Had it not been for this casual mention that DiResta “worked for the CIA,” this connection might never have surfaced. In his April 3 article, Shellenberger writes:⁴

“We now know … that the Censorship Industrial Complex is violating the First Amendment by coordinating with government agencies and receiving government funding to pressure and help social media companies to both censor information, including accurate information, while spreading disinformation, including conspiracy theories …

One of the most intelligent, influential, and fascinating public-facing leaders of the Censorship Industrial Complex is Renee DiResta … DiResta has, more than anyone else, made the public case for greater government-led and government-funded censorship …

In 2021, DiResta advocated for creating a government censorship center … within the federal government … Did the Department of Homeland Security act on DiResta’s proposal to create a censorship center? It did … DHS … called it a ‘Disinformation Governance Board,’ which the agency announced publicly in April 2022.

DiResta’s rise to the highest levels of the U.S. intelligence community struck me back in December of last year as improbably meteoric. DiResta had repeatedly described her involvement in fighting disinformation as having started in 2013 when she became a new mom and grew concerned about spreading anti-vaccine information online …

Two years later she was helping to fight ISIS online and by 2018 she was testifying before the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee. While these suspicions nagged at me, I waved them away …

[G]iven the historical dominance of high tech by founders in their 20s and 30s, and the challenges of older people to understand social media, I convinced myself that a person with DiResta’s limited experience battling disinformation online might leapfrog over the hundreds if not thousands of researchers, analysts, and intelligence experts who conduct research and combat foreign disinformation for the U.S. government and government-funded think tanks and academic institutions. But then I learned that DiResta had worked for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).”

Censorship Industrial Complex Is Loaded With Former CIA Officials

According to DiResta, her “purported secret-agent double life was an undergraduate student fellowship at CIA, ending in 2004,” and that she’d “had no affiliation since.”

“But DiResta’s acknowledgment of her connection to the CIA is significant, if only because she hid it for so long,” Shellenberger writes. “And, notably, the CIA describes its fellowships as covering precisely the issues in which DiResta is an expert …

Is DiResta telling the truth when she claims she’s had ‘no affiliation since’? Perhaps. But one of the things I have heard from multiple people, including people within the intelligence community, is, ‘Nobody ever retires from the intelligence community.’

Such a claim is, no doubt, exaggerated. But there is truth to it. Moreover, one of the main characteristics of spycraft is the deployment of agents and assets not publicly affiliated with the CIA or other intelligence agencies.”

Shellenberger also points out that former CIA officials in general feature heavily in the censorship industrial complex.

No fewer than seven former CIA directors are on the board of the Atlantic Council, which is partnered with the Stanford Internet Observatory’s Election Integrity Partnership and Virality Project that DiResta is directly involved in. The chief strategy officer and the director of federal programs at Graphika — another Stanford Internet Observatory partner — are also former CIA officials.

Why Did DiResta Become the Face of the Censorship Industrial Complex?

According to Shellenberger, DiResta “is without question one of the most, if not THE most, influential leaders within the network of for-profit and nonprofit organizations and government agencies that comprise the Censorship-Industrial Complex,” having led both the 2020 Stanford Internet Observatory’s Election Integrity Project and its 2021 Virality Project, the latter of which was aimed at taking down vaccine misinformation.

“The question now is why,” Shellenberger says. “Who is Renee DiResta, and why is she, and not somebody else, the public-facing leader of the censorship industry and a trusted advisor to Democrats in Congress?

Why is she doing it? And what will it take to defund the Stanford Internet Observatory, dismantle the censorship industry, and disempower DiResta?

To answer those questions, we first need to understand how DiResta got away with and was even rewarded for participating in one of the most outrageous and likely ILLEGAL, election disinformation campaigns in recent history.”

DiResta Is a Disinformation Agent

Before DiResta became research director for the Stanford disinformation lab, she was the research director for a small Democrat donor-funded political consulting firm called New Knowledge LLC.

In 2017, New Knowledge received a $100,000 donation from LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman to help Alabama Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Doug Jones defeat Republican Roy Moore in a special election.

The following year, it was revealed that New Knowledge had created and subscribed thousands of fake “Russian bots” to Moore’s social media campaign. The fake bots were created by generating user accounts using a virtual private network (VPN) to simulate Russian IP addresses.

Moore narrowly lost the election after mainstream media reported that he was “backed by Russia.” Alas, Moore’s “Russian backers” were merely bots created by New Knowledge.⁵ As reported by Shellenberger:⁶

“A 12-page New Knowledge memo dated Dec. 15, 2017 described the operation. ‘We orchestrated an elaborate ‘false flag’ operation that planted the idea that the Moore campaign was amplified on social media by a Russian botnet’ …

The memo claimed that the work of New Knowledge had shifted enough votes for Jones to win the election, which had been decided by fewer than 22,000 voters.

How? Through the use of disinformation to ‘radicalize Democrats, suppress unpersuadable Republicans (‘hard Rs’) and faction moderate Republicans by advocating for write-in candidates,’ said the memo.

New Knowledge also ‘planted the idea that a Russian botnet amplified the Moore campaign on social media. We then tied that botnet to the Moore campaign digital director, making it appear that he had purchased the accounts.’”

We Must Make Ourselves More Resilient to Propaganda

Somehow, DiResta survived this scandal, and continues to be a leading spokesperson AGAINST disinformation and FOR election integrity, even though New Knowledge was caught red-handed using disinformation to interfere in a U.S. election. Shellenberger continues:

“Why, in the end, is it Renee DiResta, and not somebody else, the leader of the Censorship Industrial Complex? A big part of the reason is because she is the intellectual architect, and most articulate public advocate, of government funding of, and cooperation with, non-governmental actors, such as Stanford Internet Observatory, to increase social media censorship of disfavored views and disfavored users.

But there is another, deeper reason. Like other American elites, DiResta believes that it is the role of people like her to control what information the public is allowed to consume, lest they elect a populist ogre like Donald Trump, decide not to get vaccinated, or don’t accept whatever happens to be mainstream liberal opinion on everything from climate change to transgenderism to the business dealings of the presidents family …

While we must defund and dismantle the Censorship Industrial Complex, the greatest change must happen within ourselves. We must be suspicious of those who raise the alarm about ‘foreign election influence’ and ‘disinformation’ and demand greater ‘content moderation’ by social media platforms. As such, we should take a page from our would-be censors and make ourselves more resilient to their disinformation.”

A New World Order Propagandist

Another aspect of DiResta that Shellenberger does not address is that she’s also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR),⁷ and you don’t get into that club without some serious connections. You also don’t get in unless you are able to contribute to CFR’s work.⁸

CFR is financed in part by the Gates,⁹ Rockefeller, Ford and Carnegie foundations,¹⁰ and has influenced U.S. foreign policy ever since its inception 95 years ago. Almost all U.S. secretaries of defense have been lifetime members, as have most CIA directors. This is of crucial importance, considering the CFR’s goal, from the start, has been to bring about a totalitarian one world government, a New World Order (NWO) with global top-down rule.

[The CFR’s goal is] submergence of U.S. sovereignty and national independence into an all-powerful one-world government … In the entire CFR lexicon, there is no term of revulsion carrying a meaning so deep as ‘America First.’ ~ CFR member Admiral Chester Ward, 1975

In 1950, the son of one of the CFR’s founders, James Warburg, said to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee: “We shall have world government whether or not you like it — by conquest or consent.”¹¹ Similarly, in 1975 CFR insider Admiral Chester Ward wrote that the goal of the CFR was “submergence of U.S. sovereignty and national independence into an all-powerful one-world government.”¹²

According to Ward, the desire to “surrender the sovereignty and independence of the United States is pervasive throughout most of its membership,” and “In the entire CFR lexicon, there is no term of revulsion carrying a meaning so deep as ‘America First.’”

With Ward’s last comment in mind, published in 1975, it’s interesting to contemplate who has opposed President Trump’s America First agenda, and why. Many Americans, even if they don’t like or support Trump personally, agree that taking care of America and Americans’ interests first is a rational decision for any leadership, and they’ve been hard-pressed to rationalize how an anti-America First policy can be good for the nation.

Well, Ward gives us the answer. Those who oppose America First policies do so because they’re working on behalf of a network that seeks to eliminate nationalism in favor of a one-world government, and DiResta is part of that club.

As explained by, Mike Benz, executive director for the Foundation for Freedom Online, in the short video above, the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP) was specifically set up to do the censorship that the U.S. government could not legally do itself.

In 2021, the EIP was rebranded as the Virality Project, at which point the information being censored shifted from elections to that of COVID-related matters, including factual information about the COVID jabs and their potential dangers.

Not surprisingly, the Stanford Internet Observatory (SIO) insists it “did not censor or ask social media platforms to remove any social media content regarding coronavirus vaccine side effects.”¹³ Alas, this is provably false. As reported by Alex Gutentag and Andrew Lowenthal in a November 10, 2023, Substack article:¹⁴

“… Twitter Files published by Matt Taibbi in March … revealed that SIO’s so-called ‘Virality Project’ had pushed platforms¹⁵ to treat user concerns about vaccine mandates and passports as ‘disinformation’ and to consider ‘stories of true vaccine side effects’ to be actionable content on social media.

The Virality Project was an initiative undertaken jointly by Big Tech, universities, and NGOs to combat ‘anti-vaccine misinformation.’ SIO responded to Taibbi’s Twitter Files by claiming that his findings were ‘inaccurate and based on distortions of email exchanges in the Twitter Files.’

But new evidence shows that Stanford lied about the scope of the Virality Project and that its censorship efforts were undertaken on behalf of the US government.

As Public reported¹⁶ on Tuesday, new documents¹⁷ shared by the House Judiciary Committee revealed that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), created the Virality Project’s predecessor, the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP), to censor protected speech.

Explains the committee, ‘EIP reconstituted as the Virality Project’ and continued working with the federal government. The Twitter Files also found that the Project partnered ‘with several government agencies,’ including the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the Office of the Surgeon General, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Still, Stanford and the mainstream media insist that ‘disinformation’ experts were merely conducting research, and not involved in actual censorship. Now, an investigation by Public has uncovered clear evidence that the Project was directly and deliberately involved in successful censorship efforts.

Public analyzed a trove of newly released Jira system tickets,¹⁸ the Virality Project’s tipline to social media companies. These tickets overwhelmingly contradict Stanford’s assertion that it did not try to get content censored.

The Virality Project, acting as a cut-out for DHS and CISA, worked directly with employees at Facebook, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and more, who were all signed up to their Jira system. Those companies regularly assured the Project that they were addressing the content it flagged …

According to Stanford, the Virality Project’s work ‘centered on identification and analysis of social media commentary relating to the COVID-19 vaccine, including emerging rumors about the vaccine where the truth of the issue discussed could not yet be determined.’

Yet in its Jira system, the Virality Project expressed absolute certainty about the vaccine, called doubters ‘anti-vax,’ and targeted individuals … who challenged CDC advice.

The Project clearly aimed to control the vaccine narrative and prohibit questions about vaccine safety and efficacy. The Virality Project also flagged swathes of content related to general concepts like medical freedom and protests in opposition to government mandates.”

Jira Tickets Prove Mass Censorship of Vaccine Information

In their article, Gutentag and Lowenthal reviews a long list of “egregious instances” in which the Virality Project “intentionally and knowingly worked to silence and deplatform social media users.” For example:

• “After Krispy Kreme announced it would give free donuts to people who got vaccinated, the Virality Project alerted platforms about ‘criticism against Krispy Kreme’s vaccine for donut promo’ and labeled such criticism as ‘general anti-vaccination.’
• The Virality Project flagged a PDF of consolidated data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) … The Project noted that Google had removed the content after its report.
• The Project flagged an Israeli pre-print that found natural immunity to be as protective as vaccination …
• The Virality Project flagged a Lancet research article about the absolute risk reduction of COVID vaccines, calling it an ‘alleged authoritative source.’ Facebook then labeled the article.
• In one highly troubling instance, the Project flagged someone’s Google Drive. ‘See the following Google Drive links being used to compile testimonies about vaccine shedding, videos showing side effects, and PDFs detailing conspiracy theories,’ the Virality Project wrote … The Project noted that Google removed the content.
• … the Virality Project repeatedly reported testimonials of vaccine injuries to Twitter and Facebook, including testimonials from healthcare workers. Accounts of vaccine injuries, the Project wrote to platforms, could ‘fuel vaccine hesitancy.’
• In June 2021, the Virality Project flagged accurate claims that the World Health Organization (WHO) did not recommend vaccinating children …”

The Virality project also flagged a number of Twitter posts made by yours truly, including one that linked to an SEC filing admitting that the COVID shot is considered a “gene therapy product.”

That tweet was entirely factual. Bayer president Stefan Oelrich in 2021 (video below) also admitted that the COVID shots were an example of “cell and gene therapy.” Yet the Virality Project flagged it as misinformation.

As noted by Gutentag and Lowenthal:¹⁹

“Jira tickets such as these prove that it clearly made considerations about content removal … Evidence of illegal DHS and CISA involvement in censorship is a likely factor behind Stanford’s attempts to characterize its activities as innocent research …

That SIO now feels the need to deny key elements of its work on the Virality Project, and even attempt to evade subpoenas from the House Judiciary Committee, shows that the censors are much weaker now than they were in 2021. Two years ago, the Virality Project could operate both in plain sight and with impunity. Now, its architects are trying to cover their tracks.”

Good News, Bad News

Indeed, the good news is that more and more information is coming out about the U.S. government’s illegal outsourcing of censorship, and with it, legal challenges that throw up blocks against this circumvention of the Constitution.

We’ve also had other victories. In August 2022, the DHS was forced to terminate the Disinformation Governance Board due to public backlash. CISA has also deleted information about domestic censorship work from its website, and has dismantled its Misinformation, Disinformation, and Malinformation (MDM) subcommittee.

The Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government is also continuing its search for truth, and will (hopefully) use whatever power at its disposal to rein in the abuse. Its most recent report, “The Weaponization of ‘Disinformation’ Pseudo-Experts and Bureaucrats: How the Federal Government Partnered with Universities to Censor Americans’ Political Speech”²⁰ was published November 6, 2023.

Unfortunately, we also have a global effort underway to not only normalize but also legalize this kind of third-party censorship. In an August 1, 2023, video (below), Mike Benz²¹ explained this strategy.

In short, they’re trying to restructure the censorship industry “away from a top-down government-driven model” to a “competitive middleware model” where “content curation” (read censorship) is simply outsourced to third-party organizations.

This way, a “legal” disinformation compliance market is created while government can claim it has nothing to do with the control of information. Basically, what we’re looking at is the emergence of organized corporate censorship. Artificial intelligence is also being employed to “identify and slow the spread of false and harmful content.”²²

There’s no clear solution to this threat, other than to continue pushing back against any and all efforts to legalize, standardize and normalize censorship. To vocally object, to refuse using middleware like NewsGuard, and to boycott any company or organization that uses middleware or engages in censorship of any kind.

Where I differ greatly from Snyder’s analysis is his belief that the world will not turn on Israel. It will. It already is. Even if we dismiss Bible prophecy that declares it will happen, we can see the powers-that-be fueling antisemitism in ways we haven’t seen since Nazi Germany. Hamas has always been committed to wiping out the nation of Israel, and now after the terror attacks of October 7th Israel is committed to wiping out Hamas.  So what we are witnessing is truly a “death match” that will produce only one survivor.  Hamas is desperately hoping that all of Israel’s enemies in the region will unite and try to destroy the nation of Israel once and for all.  Meanwhile, Israel is attempting to slowly but surely strangle the terror group out of existence.  In fact, it is being reported that the IDF has now “completed the encirclement of Gaza City”…

IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari has said ground and tank forces have at this point surrounded Gaza City. “Our troops have completed the encirclement of Gaza City, the center of Hamas activity,” he said in a late Thursday (local) press conference. The IDF has further announced the deaths of “130 terrorists” in the latest battles.

There is no way out for the Hamas fighters that are trapped in Gaza City at this stage.

Their goal from this point forward is to stay alive in the tunnels for as long as possible as they hope for Hezbollah and Iran to join the war and save the day.

Sadly, those tunnels will end becoming tombs for many of them.

Instead of sending Israeli troops into the tunnels, the IDF is using robots and explosive devices to deal with them…

The Walla News site in Israel said large-scale operations to clear the tunnels began in areas of the Gaza Strip now under the control of the IDF.

A senior officer in the Southern Command told the outlet: “Maybe at first they were able to harass us, sting us by firing from tunnel exits, but after we established control of the areas, the engineering operation started.”

He added: “We are going to collapse the entrances and the tunnels on them. It will become a death zone. They made a mistake, they chose to be in a place they could not escape from. They will die in the tunnels.”

Can you imagine being trapped in an underground tunnel with no way out? I suppose that they could try digging, but those tunnels are very deep. Of course Hamas terrorists should not expect any mercy after what they did on October 7th. One Hamas terrorist has admitted on camera that he shot innocent young children…

In the six-minute interrogation tape, the terrorist calmly describes murdering young children hiding in a safe room.

“We heard sounds of young children,” he said. “The cries of young children. A young child, something like that.”

“I shot and Abu Kamil shot. We shot at the door,” he added. “Until we didn’t hear noise anymore.”

And one Israeli first responder is telling the world that he personally saw an Israeli baby that had been “baked to death in an oven”…

An Israeli first responder to the October 7 terror attack has claimed that Hamas terrorists roasted a baby in an oven in shocking video testimony.

Asher Moskowitz, of the United Hatzalah first responder group, published a video of himself speaking to a camera, delivering his witness account.

In it, he claims he saw the remains of a baby who had been baked to death in an oven at kibbutz Kfar Aza, where more than 100 civilians were killed.

The atrocities that were committed on October 7th should never be forgotten, and the Israelis have established a brand new website in order to “document the horrors of that day”.

But there are still many in the western world that are attempting to deny what happened. Or they are trying to blame Israel for what happened.

Look, a top Hamas official even went on television recently and publicly admitted what they did and said that they would do it again and again if given the opportunity…

The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) translated the interview. In it, Hamas political official Ghazi Hamad says that attacks on Israeli civilians are justified; that the cost in terms of Palestinian “martyrs” is worth the ultimate goal of ending Israel; and that Hamas will continue to mount such attacks.

Israel simply cannot allow Hamas to exist any longer.

And most Americans would almost certainly feel the same way if it was American children that were butchered, American women that were raped and American grandmothers that were kidnapped.

Unfortunately, coverage by the mainstream media is steadily becoming more pro-Hamas by the day.

In fact, even CNN is openly admitting that the mainstream media is becoming more critical of Israel…

News organizations are assuming a more aggressive posture toward Israel Defense Forces as it escalates its military operations in the Gaza Strip.

While civilian deaths mount and the humanitarian crisis grows more severe in the Palestinian territory, spokespersons for Israel’s military are being confronted by anchors on live television, pressed to answer for the deaths of innocent families caught in the heavy crossfire.

The more critical stance has been particularly pronounced over the last 24 hours, following two blasts at the densely populated Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza, which was established in 1948 when Palestinians fled what is now the current state of Israel.

They are trying to turn the Israelis into the bad guys. But it is not going to work.The whole world clearly saw what Hamas did on October 7th.

And now that the IDF has completely encircled Gaza City, the end is near for the vast majority of the Hamas terrorists that are hiding in those tunnels.

Sadly, there have been riots and attacks at embassies across the globe as a result of corporate media’s complicity in spreading the false narrative. But for those who don’t know, I’ll inform you that spreading false narratives and reinforcing the globalist agenda is their primary job, truth be damned.

This is the biggest problem we’re going to have moving forward with the war. The propaganda that comes from both sides cannot be believed. Granted, the pro-Israel propaganda is small compared to the pro-Hamas propaganda, but it still exists. It’s our job to try to disseminate the truth through discernment and proper investigation.

Conservative firebrand Laura Loomer took it a step further by not only calling out the lies but also calling out some of the liars. Moreover, she joined Tim Pool in questioning whether the hospital was even bombed at all or if it was a small rocket that caused minor damage with far fewer than the 500+ reported dead.

As she noted on Twitter:

Meanwhile, large accounts online that are likely being paid by HAMAS and IRGC via the subscribe button on @X are spreading lies about Israel dropping an Ariel bomb on the hospital. The hospital wasn’t even directly hit, the parking lot was.

An aerial bomb would have left a crater in the ground, the shock wave from an Israeli bomb would have leveled all surrounding buildings, and it definitely would not have left the hospital solar panels in tact on top of the hospital.

The image of the parking lot below was taken by an Arab Palestinian. Not an Israeli. The image clearly shows that the fire began in the parking lot next to the hospital.

The roof damage on top of the hospital, which is still standing, is more indicative of shrapnel damage from disintegrating components of a rocket.

Through all of this, the most unfortunate reality is that countless masses of people will never hear the truth. They’ll go with the initial report because that’s all they will hear. They’ll blame Israel, riot on behalf of Hamas, and label those of us who try to share the truth as spreaders of “misinformation.” And it’s not just abroad in Muslim-majority countries. In the United States, a huge chunk of people will go forward believing Israel bombed a hospital and killed hundreds of innocent patients and medical professionals.

We truly are living in a post-truth society. Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Recently the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), by way of Customs and Border Protection (CBP), has given millions of dollars to an AI tech company in exchange for software that can detect sentiment and emotion in social media posts. The company, Fivecast, claims the software uses AI to determine problematic posts and automatically report them to law enforcement. Other aspects of Fivecast’s AI software include object recognition and multi-language risk term and phrase recognition.

Fivecast is an Australian company founded in 2017 whose technology, according to its mission statement, is “used and trusted by leading defense, national security, law enforcement, corporate security and financial intelligence organizations around the world.” Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom and the United States are the five countries Fivecast works intimately with. So intimately that they have dubbed the group the “Five Eyes Alliance.”

Counter-Disinformation Unit to monitor and censor individuals challenging lockdown policies and vaccine fanaticism

One Five Eyes Alliance member, the United Kingdom, starting in the early days of the coronavirus (Covid-19) lockdowns and lasting all throughout the “pandemic,” used AI technology to identify “stay at home” order dissenters on social media. A recent report published by The Telegraph showed that the UK government formed a Counter-Disinformation Unit to monitor and censor individuals challenging lockdown policies and vaccine promotion.

It is fair to be suspicious that other members of the so-called alliance were also employing the same technology to monitor their own countries’ dissenters. They just may have done a better job at covering up their censorship operations.

Allowing government censorship of this magnitude is a critical threat to the first amendment rights provided to lawful US citizens. Not only can your comments be wrongfully censored for questioning and challenging the agendas of hidden authoritarian powers, but the newly implemented AI technology will target you for simply expressing a negative emotion. Don’t use a frown emoji or your account could be banned!

The first amendment protects nearly all speech if it does not incite violent or unlawful conduct. You have the protected right to share a dissenting opinion online regarding a government policy. You also have the protected right to engage in digital discourse about medical choices and opinions. In both these cases it’s possible that your speech will become emotionally driven. What becomes a blatant first amendment violation is the government censoring your comments due to the alleged emotion behind it.

One thing is for certain: AI is here to stay, and global governments are using it. We are already seeing individuals have the comments censored purely based on AI deeming their tone “problematic.” It may not be long before AI manufactured evidence is used to convict someone in a court of law.

Big Brother Watch campaign group spokesperson said of the CCP-AI system, “The very concept of ‘wrong information’ dictated by a central authority is open to abuse and should be considered far more critically, lest we mirror Chinese-style censorship.” The Biden Regime is currently bent over a barrel, doing everything to turn America into a Communist country. Anyone who can’t see it is in for a rude awakening.
