In June, the Army issued two new directives regarding the handling and reporting of “protest, extremist and criminal gang activities” by soldiers. Army directive 2024-07 on handling extremist activity, as well as the service’s directive 2024-08 on reporting extremist activity, can both be found on the website of the Army Inspector General.

WorldNetDaily interviewed Dr. Charles “Chase” Spears, recently retired after a 20-year Army public affairs career specializing in ethical military communication strategy.

“Since day one of his tenure as secretary of Defense,” Spears told WND, “Lloyd Austin claimed that there is a major issue with [Christian] extremism in the military.” Spears added, “This is the same military that made [Austin] a four-star general.”

But the Army’s new rules beg the question: “Why now, when multiple reports have debunked Austin’s claim?” Even if, Spears said, the Army’s directives were implemented with the intention of clarifying what amounts to “extremism,” a word he says is “open to wide interpretation in the current political climate,” the new policy “makes it appear that if you disagree with [the views of Austin and the Biden administration], then you’re an extremist.”

Attorney R. Davis Younts agrees with Dr. Spears, telling WND that he likewise fears the ambiguity in the Army’s new rules. According to the retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and former judge advocate general (JAG) officer, the directives encompass an “extremely broad range of activities.”

Both Spears and Younts are concerned about how the new directives will be interpreted. For example, considering the 0recent Army portrayal of pro-life organizations as terrorist organizations, Younts said his concern has been heightened. “If a service member offers money or resources or volunteers to support a group that advocates against abortion, could he be viewed as supporting extremists?” Younts questioned. “What about supporting a group that advocates for … the existence of only two genders?”

Taking it one step further, Younts asked, “If I were still in the Air Force and tithed to my church, which goes out to pray in protest against a transgender story hour, would my church fit the Army’s definition of an extremist group?”

To that end, Spears pointed out that Army directive 2024-07 states extremist activity includes “advocating widespread unlawful discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including pregnancy), gender identity, or sexual orientation.” He warned that “because they feel they need to please their political superiors, some military commanders will infer that because you disagree with women competing in men’s sports, you are now engaging in an act of extremism.”

In fact, Spears added, the Army’s new reporting requirements “essentially force commanders to prove the innocence of soldiers accused of extremism, rather than guilt.”

“These are now things every single Christian military member that is doctrinally aligned with traditional biblical views of life, marriage and gender must consider,” Younts told WND. For this reason, he recommends “these service members should be raising the issue to their congressmen, and apply for a religious accommodation to be exempted from the policy.”

“We have to get [military] leaders to clarify what they are saying in the new directives,” Younts argues. “I don’t think it’s irrational to believe that some of today’s senior leadership would view the church or another 501(c) nonprofit organization as an extremist for disavowing abortion, same-sex marriage and a host of other sins running rampant in society.”

For Spears, one of his biggest concerns is the fact that the directives apply not only to active-duty Army personnel, but also to inactivated members of the Reserve and National Guard. “When reservists and guardsmen are activated, they fall under the Uniform Code of Military Justice – but when not activated, they fall under civil law, like all other civilians,” he explained. “The Army’s new rules on so-called ‘extremism’ further erode the line between civilian and military life.”

“This is a terrifying development that extends the Defense Department’s intrusive reach into the personal lives of non-activated Reservists and National Guardsmen,” Spears argued. And this, he concluded, “sends a chilling message across the force that must be overturned by the courts.”

Should Christians Fear Kamala Harris? https://americanconservativemovement.com/should-christians-fear-kamala-harris/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/should-christians-fear-kamala-harris/#respond Wed, 14 Aug 2024 13:51:17 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=210439 (Liberty Nation)—In a presidential campaign marked by one bombshell occurrence after another, it is easy to lose sight of fundamental issues that newly minted Democratic nominee Kamala Harris has yet to address. As the vice president dodges scrutiny in the run-up to the Democratic National Convention, Donald Trump and Republicans have spent plenty of time discussing the areas where the VP is highly vulnerable, primarily the economy and illegal immigration, which together rate as the most serious concerns of a majority of voters. But there has been little talk about an issue of profound importance to tens of millions of Americans on which Harris might be just as exposed: her view of Christianity.

The vice president’s own religious background is telling. Her mother was Indian and Hindu, her father Jamaican and Christian. As Trump has pointed out, she has alternated between identities during her career. During her formative years in Canada and later in the US, she attended both a Black Baptist church and a Hindu temple. Like Barack Obama, Harris’ father is a Marxist academic, which provides crucial context to her record of hostility toward Catholics and evangelical Christians. But whatever influences hit closest to home during her upbringing and throughout her political career, her record on religion is worthy of close scrutiny – and deep concern.

“The vice president has a strong Christian faith that she’s talked about a lot,” Jamal Simmons, Harris’ former communications director, told The Washington Times. But like so many other aspects of her persona, you would be hard-pressed to figure out exactly what that means in light of her record over more than a decade of public service.

The Kamala Harris Brand of Christianity

Harris’ 2019 ranking as the single most liberal senator in the entire nation was not without merit. One year earlier, she had famously ignored Article VI of the US Constitution prohibiting religious tests on judicial appointments during a Senate hearing. She asked a nominee to the federal court, Brian Buescher, if he was aware that the Knights of Columbus (KOC), a widely familiar charitable organization, “opposed a woman’s right to choose” and whether he had “ever, in any way, assisted with or contributed to advocacy against women’s reproductive rights.” Incredibly, Harris’ progressive colleague, Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI), went on to ask the nominee if he would resign from the KOC if confirmed.

As California attorney general, Harris backed a 2015 state law requiring pro-life pregnancy crisis centers to offer abortion referrals. The US Supreme Court vacated the law as a violation of free speech. As a longtime supporter of Planned Parenthood, she also authorized a 2015 raid on the home of pro-life activist David Daleiden after he secretly recorded Planned Parenthood affiliates selling fetal tissue from abortions.

Then there was her time in the Senate, when she sponsored a bill, the 2019 “Do No Harm Act,” requiring  Catholic hospitals to cover abortions and gender-transition surgeries, despite their objections based on centuries of settled Catholic theology. She infuriated Christians by cosponsoring the 2017 Equality Act to protect the right of biological males who identify as female to enter girls’ and women’s facilities. And as part of her radical agenda during her run for the presidential nomination in 2020, she proposed that states be required to obtain permission from the Justice Department to pass any abortion restrictions.

Like many left-wing Christians, Harris claims that traditional Christian beliefs are perfectly compatible with her own, declaring at a recent NAACP Convention that supporting abortion access “does not require anyone to abandon their faith or their beliefs.” Of course, that flies directly in the face of the teachings of the Catholic Church, even with a Pope in the thrall of progressive theology, which continues to unilaterally oppose abortion.

But perhaps the most revealing insight into the Democratic presidential nominee’s beliefs might come from her statement excising one-third of the most defining statement of American values ever written. Indeed, in 2023, Harris deliberately left out the word “life” in stating during a pro-abortion speech that the Declaration of Independence guaranteed the right to “liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

Almost 20% of the US population is Catholic. Another 39% identify as “born again” or evangelical, according to Gallup. That adds up to more than half the country.  Will Kamala Harris reassure people of faith that she will protect their religious liberty, or will she try to win the election by doubling down on her progressive view of faith?

More Atheist Intellectuals Are Seeing the Light https://americanconservativemovement.com/more-atheist-intellectuals-are-seeing-the-light/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/more-atheist-intellectuals-are-seeing-the-light/#comments Sun, 04 Aug 2024 16:02:29 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=210150 (WND)—Dr. Richard Dawkins is one of the Western atheist intellectuals who has spent a lifetime creating hatred for the Christian faith upon which his own civilization stands. Decade after decade he has ignorantly pushed the nihilist, Nietzschean message that God is dead, Christian values are useless, Christianity is nonsense, there is no hope beyond death – in short, that this world is a meaningless place. While atheists compose approximately 2.3% of world population, this marginal group has been granted unlimited access to the mainstream media in order to influence the public. The 8 billion rest of us who believe in God and the metaphysical realm are simply canceled and denied the same privileges of free speech in the public sphere.

Coinciding with the neo-Marxist narrative that has been implemented since the 1960s, the decades of godless influence is now producing the desired results: The end of the Christian social order, end of stability, end of the family, end of marriage, end of personal freedoms, end of the church, end of wealth for the large parts of the middle- and lower classes. Even middle-class families are now struggling to make ends meet as our political leaders seem completely unwilling to solve even the most basic problems in society. Christian morality has been substituted by hedonism, endless greed among our economic elites, the legalization of selfishness, gluttony, anger, murder, hatred and pride: the very vices that Christian ethics devised how to conquer and quench.

Then suddenly, as if frightened by the results of his own demonic preaching, Dawkins, who has had free access to the mainstream media loudspeaker, changed his stance, as I recently wrote about at WND. In an interview with LBC, he now calls himself a cultural Christian. Some epiphany moment must have occurred.

This brings me to another world-famous atheist who has been a convenient tool for the mainstream Marxist push for godlessness and chaos in the West, Ayaan Hirsi Ali. In a recent UnHerd debate with Dr. Dawkins, she explains that she is now a Christian. Considering taking her own life after a decade of depression, self-loathing and anxiety, Hirsi Ali felt disconnected from a meaningful existence. She chose to pray to God for help.

Hirsi Ali came to comprehend that the history of Western civilization is mainly Christian. She no longer mocks Christ or Christians, she states, pointing out that the external forces that now threaten the West should have been countered by the message of the genuine Christian civilization – the message of love, redemption, renewal and rebirth, which makes Christianity a very powerful story for the human condition and human existence. Also part of that story is the recognition of suffering and sin – the character traits both good and evil that are within us. These teachings of Christianity are far more powerful and have led to the flourishing of Western civilization.

Consequently, Christianity restored Hirsi Ali’s faith in life and removed the mental state of spiritual bankruptcy she had been battling. She says that she regrets her role in the New Atheist movement that has been so influential in the 2000s. She made the grave mistake of conflating Christianity with Islam, she explains, thinking that all perceptions of God are the same and equally wrong.

Yet, watching the debate between Hirsi Ali and Dawkins, one cannot help but notice how deep we have fallen the past century, as leading intellectuals are completely ignorant of the massive Christian influence on Western civilization. They simply do not know that it was Christian morals that produced the Western dawn of human rights, the principle of equality regardless of race, gender and status, the abolishment of slavery, the institution of the family, the emancipated role of the woman and much more.

Striking irrationality is found across the hardcore beliefs of the New Atheist movement, for example the assumption that one either believes in God or in “enlightened secular rationality”. Throughout Western history, it was precisely Christian scientists who sought to understand how God created the world who applied scientific rationality. It is equally unbelievable, for example, that atheist intellectuals actually attempt to apply empirical hypothesis to the metaphysical, which exists above the empirically provable. Everyone knows that empirical evidence is only applicable to matter that exist on earth and its cosmos. Not beyond it. It is like trying to prove how the currents in the ocean flow by examining trees.

Consequently, whether one speaks about moral, cultural, political or spiritual Christianity, one ends up agreeing with the new version of Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Without Christianity, the West is a lost cause.

Trump Vows to Combat Agencies Weaponized Against Christians https://americanconservativemovement.com/trump-vows-to-combat-agencies-weaponized-against-christians/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/trump-vows-to-combat-agencies-weaponized-against-christians/#comments Sun, 23 Jun 2024 09:16:22 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=207970 (Daily Signal)—Citing the federal arrests of pro-life activists, former President Donald Trump vowed to establish a task force to investigate anti-Christian bias if he is elected to another term.

Joe Biden has weaponized the Justice Department to viciously prosecute pro-life activists,” Trump said of the current president on Saturday during remarks at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s 15th annual Road to Majority Conference in Washington, D.C.

“I will also create a new federal task force on fighting anti-Christian bias,” Trump later added. “Its mission will be to investigate all forms of illegal discrimination, harassment, and persecution against Christians in America. It’s taking place at a level that nobody can believe. This is not America any more that we are living in.”

Trump specifically talked about the case of Paulette Harlow, a 75-year-old woman sentenced recently to 24 months in prison for singing in front of an abortion clinic after she was convicted of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, or FACE Act.

Harlow told The Daily Signal earlier this month, “I felt like it was a tremendous privilege to stand in the court on behalf of the unborn, who have no voice.”

For its part, the Biden administration has said the FACE Act is in place to protect the health and safety of women seeking abortions.

Trump delivered a wide-ranging speech, talking almost 90 minutes about the border crisis, the economy and inflation, and crime. He also talked about his own legal problems, which he said were bogus.

He was in front of an enthusiastic crowd that interrupted his speech several times with chants of “Trump, Trump, Trump,” and “USA, USA.”

Trump said he has more political wounds than any other president, but noted Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Jackson come closest. His remarks come days before the first presidential debate between Trump and Biden on Thursday.

This was Trump’s ninth speech at the Road to Majority Conference.

He is banking on comparing the strong economy under his watch with the lagging economy and inflation under the Biden administration. Biden, meanwhile, is beginning to primarily campaign on Trump’s felony conviction in New York last month.

Trump began talking about the targeting of pro-life activists as a contrast with his position that abortion is a policy that should be decided by the states—not the federal government.

He talked about the three justices he appointed to the Supreme Court who voted with the court’s majority in 2022 to scrap the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that made abortion legal nationwide.

“Thanks to these justices, we have what the pro-life movement has fought for for 49 years and we’ve gotten abortion out of the federal government,” Trump said. “Now, the people will decide, and that’s the way it should be. Some states will be more conservative. Some states will be more liberal.”

Trump insisted Democrats don’t want people in the states deciding.

“If the radical Democrat extremes get their way, they will have a federal law on abortion to rip the baby out of the womb in the seventh, eight, ninth month, or even execute the baby after birth,” Trump said.

The “execute” reference, Trump said, was about former Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, a Democrat, who had seemingly supported the idea of allowing a baby who survived an abortion to be killed.

Trump said he is pro-life, but made exceptions for the life of the mother, rape, or incest.

“Every voter has to go with your heart and do what is right. We have to get elected,” Trump told the audience.

Trump is scheduled for a rally in Philadelphia, and wasn’t originally on the conference’s speaking list. Trump said that his campaign staff encouraged him to cancel out of the Faith and Freedom Coalition event, and he joked, “I don’t have the courage to do that.”

Trump told the largely Christian crowd that not enough Christians turn out to vote.

“Christians go to church, but they don’t vote that much,” Trump said. “Do you know how much power you’ll have if you vote? Just this time. In four years, I don’t care.”

Atheist Sues for Not Being Allowed to Give Enough Invocations https://americanconservativemovement.com/atheist-sues-for-not-being-allowed-to-give-enough-invocations/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/atheist-sues-for-not-being-allowed-to-give-enough-invocations/#comments Tue, 12 Mar 2024 12:53:53 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=201825 (WND)—A Wyoming atheist who sued the city of Gillette because city officials didn’t let him deliver an invocation at a city meeting as often as he demanded wanted $24 million for the offense, but now has lost at the state Supreme Court.

It was Bruce Williams who sued Gillette Mayor Shay Lundvall demanding that he should be allowed to deliver invocations at meetings in the same proportion as there are atheists in Wyoming. Pew Research suggests some 3% of Wyoming residents say they are atheist, so Williams presumably was arguing to deliver invocations at 3% of the meetings, meaning about three every eight years if the meetings were monthly.

He had been permitted to deliver his speech at least once a year for the last nine years. But a report at Cowboy State Daily explained he demanded more.

District Judge Stuart S. Healy III originally dismissed the case, explaining the city and mayor have immunity from lawsuits under these circumstances. The state Supreme Court now has agreed, the report explained.

Williams also had complained he was required to cite the Pledge of Allegiance, to which he objected because it includes the words “under God.”

The decision from the high court said, “We acknowledge Mr. Williams’s efforts to convince us to allow his complaint to proceed. However, ‘(the) decision of whether to waive immunity for a governmental entity – belongs to the Wyoming Legislature, not this court.’”

The decision was written by Justice Lynne Boomgaarden. Under Wyoming’s Constitution, the state and its political subdivisions are immune from lawsuits unless the lawmakers authorize them.

Their latest update on that issue came in 1979 when they adopted the Wyoming Governmental Immunity Act which provides permission for lawsuits for specific situations.

That law also, the court ruling said, while allowing some contract lawsuits, is not a tool for launching civil rights fights. That would be, the ruling said, a federal law.

Attacks on Churches Are up 800 Percent, but That Is Only a Small Preview of What Is Coming in 2024 and Beyond https://americanconservativemovement.com/attacks-on-churches-are-up-800-percent-but-that-is-only-a-small-preview-of-what-is-coming-in-2024-and-beyond/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/attacks-on-churches-are-up-800-percent-but-that-is-only-a-small-preview-of-what-is-coming-in-2024-and-beyond/#comments Thu, 07 Mar 2024 10:56:02 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=201685 (End of the American Dream)—Anti-Christian violence in the U.S. has risen dramatically in recent years, but what we have seen so far is nothing compared to what is coming if the 2024 presidential election goes a certain way.  You see, the truth is that most of the violence being directed at Christian churches is being done for political reasons.

Whether it is accurate or not, many on the left consider evangelical Christians to be Donald Trump’s most hardcore supporters, and church buildings are the most visible representation of the evangelical movement.  Since church buildings are not guarded most of the time, they are easy targets, and they are being attacked at a frequency that we have never seen before in the entire history of this country.

According to a report that was released by the Family Research Council, church attacks in the United States have risen 800 percent during the last six years…

While the Biden administration cracks down on the Christians Democrats and the press smear as extremists, church attacks are up 800 percent in the last six years, according to a new report from the Family Research Council (FRC).

In February, the conservative group published the report, “Hostility Against Churches Is on the Rise in the United States.” It identified 915 acts of hostility against churches between January 2018 and November 2023.

There is so much talk in the mainstream media about “right-wing extremism”, but it is actually the left that has been committing acts of terror over and over again.

In particular, the number of church attacks absolutely exploded in the year following the Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade…

The report found hostile church incidents more than doubled in 2023 compared to 2022, with 436 counted a year after the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision returned abortion lawmaking to state legislatures. The number of attacks in 2023 was more than eight times greater than those reported in 2018.

These attacks are not about what happens on Sunday mornings.

Rather, these attacks are all about what is happening in the political realm.

When a crazed woman walked into Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church and started shooting, it wasn’t because she hated his preaching…

A woman who walked into a popular Texas megachurch Sunday afternoon with a long gun and her 7-year-old son opened fire before she was killed by law enforcement officers on scene. The gunfire left the child in critical condition and another man injured, officials said.

Authorities are now probing the shooting at televangelist and pastor Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church – roughly 6 miles from downtown Houston.

The woman, identified in a search warrant as Genesse Ivonne Moreno, 36, entered the church shortly before 2 p.m. wearing a trench coat and backpack and opened fire, Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said in a Sunday afternoon news conference.

According to ABC News, when authorities recovered the AR-15 she used during the shooting, there was a sticker that said “Palestine” on it.

She was a pro-Palestinian radical that hated evangelical support for Israel.

Sadly, these sorts of incidents are becoming way too common.

We have reached a stage where every single church in America needs an armed security team, and things will inevitably become even crazier during the months ahead.

As I have warned my readers numerous times, we are entering the most chaotic election season in U.S. history.

The Lincoln Project is already releasing ominous videos warning that Trump will become a dictator, and hordes of liberal pundits are breathlessly telling us that another Trump presidency will be the end of America as we know it today.

There are millions of leftists that are deeply internalizing this messaging, and if Trump wins they will be ready for action.

recent New York Post article explained that if Trump is able to get back into the White House “some portion of the left will convince itself that only a color revolution can save the country”…

And if Trump emerges victorious and the alleged dictatorship is underway in earnest?

Certainly, the reaction will make the pro-Hamas protests that have roiled college campuses and disrupted transportation nodes around the country look small-scale by comparison.

If the republic is supposedly on the verge of falling, extralegal means of resistance are justified.

At least some portion of the left will convince itself that only a color revolution can save the country.

I wish that I could tell you that such claims are exaggerated.

But the truth is that leftists are already buzzing about a “revolution” all over social media.

And politicians on the left are certainly not helping matters.  For example, Bernie Sanders insists that another Trump presidency will mean “the collapse of American democracy”

A second Trump presidency would be much more extreme than the first. “He’s made that clear,” says Sanders. “There’s a lot of personal bitterness, he’s a bitter man, having gone through four indictments, humiliated, he’s going to take it out on his enemies. We’ve got to explain to the American people what that means to them – what the collapse of American democracy will mean to all of us.”

We are so deeply divided, and a movie entitled “Civil War” is about to be released as the upcoming presidential election looms over our nation…

The upcoming release of A24’s Civil War during a contentious presidential election year comes amid worry about the prospect of an actual civil war — or, at least, real-life political violence — and has some questioning the movie’s timing.

Talk about predictive programming.

The film is about an alliance of states that rebels against an authoritarian president that is abusing his powers.

Many are questioning the wisdom of releasing such a movie at this particular moment in our history

“The idea of another American civil war happening today actually keeps me up at night,” wrote one reader on an American Civil War subreddit. “This is a movie that I want to keep far away from. Even if it’s based on a political scenario so far removed from our own. I just do not want to entertain the notion of something so horrible.”

“A movie about a second American Civil War in an election year in which the second American Civil War is a serious concern among law-enforcement and rational people alike?” wrote another.

I think that it would have been wise for those in charge of this film to delay it until 2025 at the earliest.

But of course people like you and I do not get to make those kinds of decisions.

For many on the left that do not worship God, politics is essentially their religion.

And to them, the worst thing that could ever possibly happen would be for Donald Trump to become president again.

I realize that may sound really bizarre to you, but this is how they actually see the world.

So if Trump wins the election in November, we are going to witness a nationwide outpouring of negative emotion that will be unlike anything that any of us have ever experienced.

Needless to say, they won’t be satisfied with just protesting in the streets.

We could potentially see civil unrest on a scale that many would consider to be unimaginable right now, and that would set the stage for so many of the things that I have been warning about all these years.

Where Is the Ark of the Covenant Today, and Will It Be Revealed to the Entire World Soon? https://americanconservativemovement.com/where-is-the-ark-of-the-covenant-today-and-will-it-be-revealed-to-the-entire-world-soon/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/where-is-the-ark-of-the-covenant-today-and-will-it-be-revealed-to-the-entire-world-soon/#comments Sun, 28 Jan 2024 03:27:26 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=200746 (End of the American Dream)—When the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant is publicly announced, it will be hailed as the greatest archaeological bombshell in the history of the world, and it will also be extremely significant spiritually.  But getting it out of the chamber where it is hidden will not be easy.  There are at least 45 major tunnels directly underneath the Temple Mount, and many of them are very unstable.  Any efforts to do any sort of major digging could cause one or more of those tunnels to collapse.

In addition, securing approval from all of the necessary authorities to take anything out from under the Temple Mount would be exceedingly complicated.  And once the Ark is revealed to the world, that will likely spark massive riots throughout the Islamic world.  So at this moment, there is a lot standing in the way of the Ark seeing the light of day.

According to Jewish oral tradition, the Ark was moved to a special underground chamber directly under Solomon’s Temple during the days of King Josiah

The Book of Chronicles indicates that 22 years prior to the destruction of Solomon’s Temple, King Josiah had the ark moved out of the Holy of Holies and transferred to the “House that Solomon the son of David, the king of Israel, built” (2 Chronicles 35:3). This is perplexing because the house built by Solomon is typically associated with the Temple that was already where the Ark was being housed.

According to a Jewish Oral Tradition, the Ark was in fact moved to an underground chamber that could only be accessed through a complex system of hidden tunnels beneath the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. This underground chamber would have been built by King Solomon who foresaw the future destruction of the Temple centuries earlier and prepared for the survival of the Ark in the architectural plans of the building itself. When the time arose and danger became more apparent, the Ark was relocated to its designated hiding place where it remains until today.

I do believe that Solomon constructed a special underground chamber directly under the Temple where the Ark would go in the event that there was a war or some other major emergency.

But I am personally convinced that during the Babylonian siege the Ark was taken by Jeremiah from that underground chamber to another underground chamber where it currently rests.

Today, most serious scholars that have carefully examined the evidence agree that it is down there somewhere.

In 1981, Rabbi Yehuda Getz went down into the tunnels underneath the Temple Mount in order to look for the Ark

In 1981, just one month after the Indiana Jones film was released, Rabbi Yehuda Getz, the rabbi of the Western Wall, was called to descend into the tunnels while they were still being excavated in search of the lost Ark. While most of the tunnels follow parallel to the Western Wall, there is one point in which the wall opens up into a gigantic passageway. This magnificent corridor popularly known as Warren’s Gate is about 18 feet wide and 36 feet high. Its association with the name Warren is because it was originally discovered by a British archaeologist called Charles Warren back in 1867.

While the large gate was sealed centuries earlier by Saladin after his conquest of Jerusalem, it would have theoretically operated as a passageway through the Western Wall underneath the Temple Mount in earlier centuries. In the times of the Second Temple, this was used as one of the gate entrances to Temple Mount, and not just any gate, but the gate in closest proximity to the Holy of Holies where the Ark would have been stored.

Getz was able to bypass the gate through a very small opening that was about two feet wide, and he felt like he was very close to the location of the Ark.

But then Muslim worshippers above ground became aware of what was going on, and there was a huge confrontation.

The opening that Getz went through was sealed up, and the passageway that Getz found “remains unexplored”

Although the gate was blocked when Rabbi Getz approached the area, a small 2-foot-wide opening was uncovered by the excavation team. After saying a short prayer, the rabbi descended into the passageway that had been abandoned for hundreds of years. The area was filled up with water and sewage so in order to properly excavate the site, it would have to be cleared out. Rabbi Getz called an engineering crew to enter the passageway, but the loud noises attracted attention from the Muslim worshippers above who dashed into the tunnel through manholes.

Carrying tools to seal up the hole, confrontations broke out between the Muslim worshippers and yeshiva students who came to support the rabbi. According to the Israeli Status Quo law, access to the Temple Mount is supposed to be for Muslim worshippers only with permitted visits by non-Muslim tourists at certain designated times. Nevertheless, Rabbi Getz claimed that the law was inapplicable to areas beneath the surface of the Temple Mount and that excavations should be permitted there. Due to the sensitive nature of the holy site, the opening was sealed up by Israeli authorities and the passageway remains unexplored.

On January 6th, 1982 Ron Wyatt says that he actually found the Ark of the Covenant

“Once we found that place, I knew that, well basically, that I needed to get inside that escarpment, because there were several indications that it was just a system of tunnels and chambers, and that I needed to, basically, just go chamber by chamber, tunnel by tunnel, and whatever, systematically go through there, until I found the Ark of the Covenant, or until I didn’t find it. And so, anyway, we found it on January 6th, 1982 at approximately 2 o’clock in the afternoon. And so, when I found it, it was in a situation that I had not anticipated or expected, that was that it was in a chamber that was totally filled with what appeared to be debris. And what turned out to be a bunch of materials of furnishings of the first temple, covered first by animal skins, then that covered by boards, and then these covered by stone, just whatever they could get their hands on, looked like. It looked like it had been done in a hurry, looked like they just grabbed everything, whatever they could get to fill the place, and I was still a little fuzzy on why that would be done, but I don’t see that I need to know everything. When God does something I just know it’s done perfectly, so.” (Wyatt Interview, 1999).

Wyatt informed the Jewish authorities of what he had discovered, but we don’t know if they ever followed up on it.

But what we do know is that Jewish leaders do claim to know where the Ark is located today.

As I have discussed previously, The Temple Institute publicly admits on their official website that they know precisely where the Ark is…

The Ark of the Covenant is one of the most fascinating of all Temple-related subjects. There are many theories about what happened to the Ark of the Covenant, and speculation abounds as to its actual location. Some people think it was taken to the Vatican, together with other Temple vessels, such as those depicted on the Roman monument, the Arch of Titus. There are many authentic, ancient historical chronicles, and even more popular legends, that attest to many sacred vessels having been taken away to Rome. However, this does not apply to the most holy feature of the First Temple, the Ark.

While some claim to have evidence that the ark is in Ethiopia, and of course, moviegoers were treated to a fanciful version of the story in “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” in reality, the expression “lost” ark is not an accurate description for the Jewish people’s point of view – because we have always known exactly where it is. So the Ark is “Hidden,” and hidden quite well, but it is not lost.

Tradition records that even as King Solomon built the First Temple, he already knew, through Divine inspiration, that eventually it would be destroyed. Thus Solomon, the wisest of all men, oversaw the construction of a vast system of labyrinths, mazes, chambers and corridors underneath the Temple Mount complex. He commanded that a special place be built in the bowels of the earth, where the sacred vessels of the Temple could be hidden in case of approaching danger. Midrashic tradition teaches that King Josiah of Israel, who lived about forty years before the destruction of the First Temple, commanded the Levites to hide the Ark, together with the original menorah and several other items*, in this secret hiding place which Solomon had prepared.

This location is recorded in our sources, and today, there are those who know exactly where this chamber is. And we know that the ark is still there, undisturbed, and waiting for the day when it will be revealed. An attempt was made some few years ago to excavate towards the direction of this chamber. This resulted in widespread Moslem unrest and rioting. They stand a great deal to lose if the Ark is revealed – for it will prove to the whole world that there really was a Holy Temple, and thus, that the Jews really do have a claim to the Temple Mount. (The official position of the Islamic Wakf, the body that governs over the Temple Mount, is that there never was a Holy Temple, and that the Jews have no rights whatsoever to the place).

But knowing where the Ark is and getting it out are two entirely different matters.

So when will the Ark finally be seen by the whole world?

Interestingly, an ancient Jewish text entitled “Treatise of the Vessels” actually states that the Ark will not be revealed “until the day of the coming of the Messiah”

One text called the “Treatise of the Vessels” says that the ark “shall not be revealed until the day of the coming of the Messiah son of David….”

When I first learned about that ancient passage I thought that it was extremely fascinating.

Of course I believe that the Bible has something very specific to say about this matter as well.

As I discuss in my new book, a corrected translation of the original Hebrew of the first clause of Daniel 9:27 should read something like this…

“The Covenant will be confirmed (or strengthened) with many for one week”.

The Ark of the Covenant has always been the physical representation of God’s covenant with His people.

The Ark has not been seen publicly for more than 2,600 years, and so if it makes a reappearance in our day that would definitely “confirm” the reality of that covenant.

So let us keep a close eye on any news regarding the Ark of the Covenant in the days ahead.

Because once the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant is revealed, everything will change.

Here’s Why Tearing Down Satanic Statues Is Perfectly Acceptable in Our “Constitutional Society” https://americanconservativemovement.com/heres-why-tearing-down-satanic-statues-is-perfectly-acceptable-in-our-constitutional-society/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/heres-why-tearing-down-satanic-statues-is-perfectly-acceptable-in-our-constitutional-society/#respond Thu, 21 Dec 2023 12:17:31 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=199586 (Alt-Market)—In recent articles I’ve been discussing the ways in which the political left exploits the principles of a society as a shield to destroy that society. In other words, if a nation has a certain historic regard for freedom, they will try to destroy that nation while under the protection of those freedoms. If you point out what they’re doing and try to stop them, they then argue that you are “violating your own principles,” the same principles which they are trying to tear down.

It’s a form of psychological warfare designed to create a Catch-22: If the target population sits back and does nothing in the face of the cultural onslaught, their heritage and their beliefs are systematically dismantled. If people take action to disrupt the saboteurs, they are accused of being hypocrites who don’t actually value the freedoms they claim to value.

However, this little mind game relies on a certain false relationship. It requires that the population under attack continues to see the saboteurs as integral members of that society with the same freedoms and the same protections. They are Americans just like us, and therefore we have to treat them merely as citizens in disagreement even though they would like nothing better than to see our culture burn.

Globalists and woke leftists often openly boast about their agenda to deconstruct western society and replace it with their own ideological cult. They are not simply in disagreement, they have declared war.

They’ve been treating conservatives and patriots as the enemy for quite some time, while we continue to treat them as fellow citizens. They tried to erase all of our freedoms permanently during the covid panic (which they perpetuated through false information). They tried to create a government apparatus working with social media corporations for mass censorship. They tried to create punishments for people who spoke against the establishment narrative. They supported vaccine mandates that would have enslaved Americans for years to come. They almost got what they wanted, too.

They then twisted the events of the Jan 6th protests and declared war on us again. They fired rubber bullets and tear gas into the crowds, got a violent response, and then acted as if the reaction was an “insurrection.”

They have targeted our children with political and sexual indoctrination in an effort to groom them into willing servants to the woke cause. They have saturated our media from commercials to movies with an endless stream of DEI propaganda, all while claiming WE are “terrorists” because we refuse to spend our money on woke products.

When someone is actively at war with you they are no longer a part of your community or tribe.  They can’t claim to be Americans while also planning to undermine everything that makes America what it is. When someone is working tirelessly to destroy the constitutional principles you hold dear, they don’t get to use those same freedoms as a buffer against retaliation.

An enemy in war is meant to be defeated; their “rights” are secondary to this goal.

Again, this is not a political disagreement. This is not a friendly debate among countrymen with the best of intentions. This is not a cultural speed bump on the way to mutual benefit. This division is irreparable. It cannot be salvaged. This is about survival. THIS IS WAR.

This is why I smiled when I read the story of Michael Cassidy, a former US Navy fighter pilot who destroyed a satanic statue of Baphomet on display at the Iowa State Capitol Building. The political left is in an uproar on social media, and as expected they argue that this incident is proof that conservatives are “authoritarians” hellbent on dictatorship. They say the statue has a constitutional right to be there if any other religious symbols are allowed to be there – But does this really matter to the situation?

My personal feelings about organized religion are complicated, but I still recognize the replacement tactics being used by the political left to undermine the west; they have been clearly targeting Christianity for many years. The satanic statue in Iowa may or may not represent satanism and evil to the people who paid to have it placed in the capitol, but it does represent their ongoing effort to wear down American foundations using any tool they can find.

Here are the reasons why what Cassidy did is absolutely acceptable under our current political conditions, even in the face of constitutional questions…

1) Do we really even live in a “constitutional society” anymore?  Or does the 1st Amendment only apply when it’s convenient to leftists?  As mentioned above, the political left and their allies have been working overtime to destroy freedom of speech through collusion between governments, corporate media and Big Tech.  Mass censorship was the norm during covid and leftists defended it vigorously. These people are in no position to use the 1st Amendment as a tent pole for their ideological games. Sorry, but that ship has sailed; they have lost the privilege of wrapping themselves in the flag.

2) The political left has been aggressively attempting to demolish historic monuments and statues of Founding Fathers in an effort to erase our connections to the past.  In 2021 they even removed a nearly 200-year-old statue of Thomas Jefferson from the New York City Hall building on the grounds that it was a “symbol of racism.” What goes around comes around.  They tear down our statues, now we tear down their statues.

3) Michael Cassidy is not a government representative, just as most of us are not government representatives. Leftists seem to operate under the false assumption that constitutional rules are meant to restrict public behavior. They are not. They are meant to restrict the government.

The Iowa state government didn’t tear that satanic statue down (unlike the New York City government that removed Thomas Jefferson). Rather, it was just a man, a regular citizen.

This is not a 1st Amendment issue because Michael Cassidy is not bound by the 1st Amendment in this situation. He might be guilty of vandalism under the law, just like thousands of woke activists across the country are guilty of vandalism for destroying monuments and government buildings, but that is all.  This is not a legal battle, this is war.

4) Most conservatives are not even arguing the matter on 1st Amendment grounds. Instead, they argue the matter on moral grounds. Is it right to allow satanic symbols to stand in our institutions of law and institutions of heritage? Symbols that represent moral relativism, narcissism, chaos and psychopathy? Is it right to look the other way while a subversive activist movement works to demolish everything we hold dear?

5) Does every belief system or ideology deserve a place of “equality” within our society? Every death cult? Every terrorist or criminal philosophy? Are they ALL entitled to statues and monuments on public property? Or, is there a line? Should there be statues of Hitler, Stalin and Mao in the halls of Congress? Should there be a Pol Pot bust on the floor of the Senate? Should Charles Manson get his face on Mount Rushmore because of the 1st Amendment?  There is such a thing as standards, but leftists think that when it comes to their ideological goals, there are no standards.

Never before in the history of the US has there been a time when a statue of Baphomet in a state government building would have been treated as acceptable, even under constitutional law. Suddenly, in the past decade we’re supposed to treat these destructive symbols as equal to other religions and give them places of reverence on public grounds? I think not.

6) Satanists like to play games with legal categorization when it suits them. When they want to argue for their presence in public schools they say they are NOT a religion and are merely a philosophical club. When they want 1st Amendment protections they claim they are a religion.  If these groups are going to refuse to identify what they are in finality, then they should be restricted from access to public institutions until they make up their minds and the courts can establish a fair precedence.

7) We have to ask ourselves what really defines freedom? Does freedom mean being able to do whatever you want whenever you want without being subject to scrutiny or skepticism? Does freedom extend to hedonism at the expense of morality, truth, responsibility and order? Because this is what the political left is demanding and it’s leading to the self immolation of civilization.

I think we have allowed them to indulge themselves for far too long, to the point that they have become arrogant and presume themselves untouchable. They laugh at us because we play by a certain set of rules by which they see no reason to abide. We engage in a battle of ideas and facts while they go scorched Earth, rigging the fight using central government and corporate power to their advantage.

Maybe we stop playing by these rules? Maybe every time they try to tear down our statues and symbols, we tear down their symbols until there’s nothing left of them? Maybe we remove the enemy that has declared war on us, and then continue on with life as we did before?  Would the populace really miss the antics of woke activists, or would they applaud if these people were shipped off to an island somewhere?

If they hate the cultural roots of this country so much then they can always leave. They choose not to, and instead scheme to upend everything we used to stand for. So no, I shed no tears for the progressives or the satanists (almost the same thing at this point) or the globalists when their mocking statues are cut in half. After years of trespasses they are finally facing some blowback. As the leftists like to say, freedom of speech does not guarantee freedom from consequences.

After Upsetting Texas to Remain Undefeated, OU Quarterback Dillon Gabriel Proclaims, “God Is Good, God Is Good” https://americanconservativemovement.com/after-upsetting-texas-to-remain-undefeated-ou-quarterback-dillon-gabriel-proclaims-god-is-good-god-is-good/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/after-upsetting-texas-to-remain-undefeated-ou-quarterback-dillon-gabriel-proclaims-god-is-good-god-is-good/#respond Sat, 07 Oct 2023 20:56:39 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=197577 The undefeated #10 Oklahoma Sooners met the previously undefeated #3 Texas Longhorns for their yearly Red River Rivalry game. Unlike last year’s blowout when Texas defeated the Sooners 49-0, this year’s fight was close from start to finish.

After throwing the winning touchdown with 0:15 left on the clock. OU quarterback Dillon Gabriel engaged in an activity that he does throughout the game. He pointed skyward to his Creator in thanks.

After the game, he thanked his teammates and declared that this is why he came to OU in the first place. He finished by saying, “God is good, God is good.”

Watch:

The Sooners are on track to compete in the Big 12 Championship game and will be favored in their remaining games, barring major injuries. But it seems likely they will face Texas again in the championship with both teams facing lighter schedules the rest of the season.

Judge Is Spot On About Trans-Supremacy Cult: “Advocates of Transgenderism Can Be as Doctrinaire as Religious Zealots” https://americanconservativemovement.com/judge-is-spot-about-trans-supremacy-cult-advocates-of-transgenderism-can-be-as-doctrinaire-as-religious-zealots/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/judge-is-spot-about-trans-supremacy-cult-advocates-of-transgenderism-can-be-as-doctrinaire-as-religious-zealots/#comments Fri, 06 Oct 2023 17:22:29 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=197548 (WND)—A judge in Florida, in calling for the exoneration of a Christian teacher fired for declining to use a student’s “preferred” pronouns, has labeled the transgender ideology – promoted through the whole of government by Joe Biden – a “new secular faith.”

“Advocates of transgenderism can be as doctrinaire as religious zealots these days,” law judge John Van Laningham wrote in a dispute over the firing of science teacher Yojary Mundaray.

She was dismissed in 2019 by Jose de Deigo Middle School in Miami for a conversation with a student, a girl, who demanded the teacher refer to her as a boy.

According to a report on the situation that developed, cited by the Daily Mail, the student was scolded by Mundaray for “routine horse play.” At that point, the girl demanded the teacher refer to her as a boy, instructing the teacher “God made a mistake.”

The teacher responded, “I’m a Christian, and my God made no mistakes.”

The student complained and the teacher was fired.

The judge called for the exoneration of the teacher, writing, “As this case demonstrates, adhering to the traditional view that gender is biologically determined can get a person excommunicated, from a job in this instance.”

The judge explained the teacher was free to hold her beliefs.

“Given that Mundaray made no attempt to force Pat to accept, conform to, or even acknowledge any Christian doctrine, the allegation that she imposed her personal religious views on Pat is untrue,” he wrote. “At most, Mundaray expressed her view that God is inerrant, which is about as anodyne a theological statement as one could make.

“‘Further, she did so only in defense of the God she worships. Surely, such cannot constitute a disciplinable offense in a country whose foundational principles include religious freedom.”

And the judge noted that Florida law has changed, and if the situation developed now the teacher’s job would be protected by statute.

The teacher’s case remains to be concluded, with the Education Practices Commission set to issue a final ruling.
