The attacks targeted several villages and sites in the Syrian provinces of Aleppo, Raqqa, and Hasakah. One of the attacks hit an SDF military outpost in the countryside of the city of Al-Malikiyah, at the Syrian–Turkish–Iraqi tri-border region. Turkish artillery also hit SDF sites in the village of Umm al-Kaif in the countryside of the town of Tal Tamr, northwest of Hasakah.

According to field sources who spoke with Sputnik, Turkish artillery shelling hit the villages of Al-Sayyada, Aoun Al-Dadat, Al-Tukhar, and Al-Daraj.

On Thursday, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the attacks killed at least “27 members of military formations operating in SDF-controlled areas,” three soldiers from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), and at least four civilians.

For its part, Turkiye’s Ministry of National Defense said 32 targets in Syria and Iraq were “destroyed” in the aerial offensive without providing details on the locations that were hit. Officials added that “all kinds of precautions” were taken to prevent harm to civilians.

The intense attacks were launched hours after armed assailants set off explosives and opened fire at the headquarters of the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) in Ankara, which designs, manufactures, and assembles civilian and military aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and other defense industry and space systems.

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya and Defense Minister Yasar Guler accused the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) of being behind the attack.

“We give these PKK scoundrels the punishment they deserve every time. But they never come to their senses,” Guler said. “We will pursue them until the last terrorist is eliminated.”

At least five people were killed and 22 injured in the Ankara attack. Two attackers – a man and a woman – were also killed.

Turkey regularly conducts air strikes against the PKK in Iraq and against the SDF in Syria. In 2014, the US military began partnering with the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), an offshoot of the PKK. The YPG later changed its name to the SDF.

Together, the US and its Kurdish proxies occupy Syria’s northeast, including Hasakah, Raqqa, and parts of Deir Ezzor, denying Syria access to its oil resources and wheat-producing agricultural land.

Wednesday’s attack in Ankara came as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was in the Russian city of Kazan to attend the annual BRICS summit. He condemned the “hateful attack” alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Alliance of the End?: The President of Turkey Asks Russia, Syria and Iran to Unite Against Israel https://americanconservativemovement.com/alliance-of-the-end-the-president-of-turkey-asks-russia-syria-and-iran-to-unite-against-israel/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/alliance-of-the-end-the-president-of-turkey-asks-russia-syria-and-iran-to-unite-against-israel/#respond Tue, 15 Oct 2024 08:41:27 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/alliance-of-the-end-the-president-of-turkey-asks-russia-syria-and-iran-to-unite-against-israel/ (End of the American Dream)—War is in the air, and we are seeing some very interesting alliances form.  As you will see below, the Russians and the Chinese continue to strengthen ties with one another, and this is something that I have been anticipating for many years.  Meanwhile, the president of Turkey is calling for a very alarming alliance of military powers in the Middle East.  On Saturday, he told the press that he is urging “Russia, Iran and Syria” to form a united front to protect “Syria’s territorial integrity”

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoǧan told local media on Saturday that Russia, Iran and Syria should do more to protect Syria’s “territorial integrity.”

“It is essential that Russia, Iran and Syria take more effective measures against this situation, which poses the greatest threat to Syria’s territorial integrity,” Erdoǧan said when asked about the recent alleged Israeli airstrike in the nation’s capital, Damascus.

Obviously Iran and Syria are already working very closely together. But we shall see what Russia and Turkey decide to do.

The Russians definitely have their hands full with Ukraine, and so they don’t really have resources to spare for a war in the Middle East. And Turkey is a member of NATO, and that status would certainly be jeopardized if Erdogan decided to jump into this conflict. But as for Iran and Syria, they are already essentially at war with Israel.

The IDF is constantly bombing targets inside Syria, and the Iranians recently launched about 200 missiles into Israel.

Now we are waiting for the Israeli response, and Iran has already told the Biden administration that it will respond in kind to any Israeli attack…

Iran has informed the United States that it will retaliate against any new attack by Israel, a source in Tehran told CNN. Iran’s government has also been engaging in urgent diplomatic efforts with countries in the Middle East to gauge whether it can reduce the scale of Israel’s response to its missile attack earlier this month and — if that fails — help protect the capital, sources say.

Nobody is backing down this time.

The final showdown between Israel and Iran has arrived, but both sides don’t seem to fully realize this yet.

Meanwhile, the IDF continues to bomb the living daylights out of Hezbollah targets all over Lebanon

Israel expanded its targets in its war with Hezbollah militants in Lebanon on Monday, killing at least 21 people in an airstrike in the north, health officials said, while millions of Israelis took shelter from projectiles fired back across the border.

So far the main focus of Israel’s military operations in Lebanon has been in the south, the Bekaa Valley in the east and the suburbs of Beirut.

I am expecting some really big escalations in the coming days.

But for the moment we are still waiting for the next big shoe to drop.

At the same time, the Russians and the Chinese just continue to develop closer ties with one another

Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov arrived in Beijing Monday for talks with his Chinese counterpart, who called for strengthening military cooperation between the two countries.

Moscow and Beijing have forged closer ties since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, an alliance that has sparked anxiety in the West as both countries seek to expand their global influence.

How many years have I been warning about a very strong alliance between Russia and China?

This is precisely what we have been anticipating, but very few people in the western world seem to be alarmed about what is happening.

Despite all of the money that we have poured into Ukraine, the Russians are winning that war.

At this point, the Ukrainians are so desperate for manpower that they are literally dragging young men out of restaurants, clubs and bars in front of everyone…

Ukraine’s military recruiters have launched targeted raids in Kyiv, detaining those whose documents do not comply and press-ganging them into the army.

Video footage captured the moment two men were dragged away by officers as they exited the Palace of Sports on Friday where Ukrainian rock band Okean Elzy played.

One concertgoer could be seen struggling and shouting ‘Get away from me!’ at three policemen as they pulled him towards the recruitment desk set up outside the venue.

A series of raids were carried out at restaurants, clubs, bars and a concert hall in the capital city, according to reports.

Of course the Ukrainians have been quietly doing this sort of thing for a long time, but now they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore.

On the other side of the world, the Chinese just surrounded Taiwan with warships and fighter jets

On Monday China has launched large military drills encircling the self-governing island of Taiwan, which Taipei has blasted as an “unreasonable provocation”. China’s PLA military deployed warships and fighter jets to send a “stern warning” against “separatist acts of Taiwan independence forces”.

The PLA Eastern Theater Command deployed joint operations of the army, navy, air force and rocket force. These assets have been largely concentrated in the Taiwan Strait, as well as surrounding Taiwan. “The joint drills focused on sea and air combat readiness, blockading key Taiwanese ports and areas, and assaults on maritime and ground targets,” described the eastern theatre command’s spokesperson, senior captain Li Xi.

The good news is that this was just a military exercise.

The Chinese are practicing for a future blockade of Taiwan, and just before the military exercise commenced a video was released that boldly declared that the Chinese military is “prepared for battle at all times and can fight anytime”

Just before these fresh drills, China’s military issued and circulated a propaganda video entitled “prepared for battle” on vairous social media accounts. The about one-minute video features fighter jets, warships and amphibious assault vessels taking to the air and sea near Taiwan. Mobile rocket launchers are also seen being maneuvered and made ready for attacks. Text associated with the video said Chinese forces are “prepared for battle at all times and can fight anytime.”

A blockade will probably be the very first step that the Chinese take when they decide that it is time to forcibly “reunite” with Taiwan.

And the moment that they establish such a blockade, the U.S. and China will be at war.

Sadly, that could happen a lot sooner than most people think.

Like I said at the beginning of this article, war is in the air.

We are so close to the unthinkable, and our window of opportunity to avoid a global nightmare is rapidly closing.

We Are Just One Step Away From an Apocalyptic War in the Middle East https://americanconservativemovement.com/we-are-just-one-step-away-from-an-apocalyptic-war-in-the-middle-east/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/we-are-just-one-step-away-from-an-apocalyptic-war-in-the-middle-east/#comments Tue, 02 Apr 2024 22:51:27 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=202416 (The Economic Collapse Blog)—Did you see what just happened in Damascus?  In an absolutely stunning move, Israel took out the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.  Needless to say, the Iranians are absolutely furious and they are promising a “harsh” response.

For a long time, I have been warning my readers that an apocalyptic war in the Middle East will be one of the conflicts that defines World War III.  The good news is that the war in the Middle East has not escalated to an apocalyptic level yet.  But after what we witnessed on Monday, we are just one step away.

The building that was destroyed by the IDF airstrike was reportedly directly next to Iran’s embassy in Damascus

A building next to Iran’s embassy in Damascus has been destroyed in an airstrike, reportedly killing a senior commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps and five others – with state media saying Israel was behind the attack.

Pictures show the building in Syria’s capital razed to the ground, with huge plumes of smoke rising from the site following the explosion this afternoon and emergency workers rushing to the scene.

This particular building was apparently the residence of the Iranian ambassador to Syria.

The Syrian government says that the missiles that destroyed this building were fired from the Golan Heights

The Syrian Ministry of Defence responded with a statement.

“This evening, the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting the Iranian consulate building in Damascus,” it said.

“Our air defences responded to the missiles and shot down some of them. The aggression led to the destruction of the entire building and the martyrdom and injury of everyone inside.

“Work is underway to recover the bodies of the martyrs, treat the wounded and remove debris.”

It appears that the IDF was targeting a gathering of very important regional leaders.

Mohammad Reza Zahedi was among those that were killed.  He was the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps…

The head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Mohammad Reza Zahedi, was confirmed killed in the strike, alongside several other Iranian diplomats visiting the Syrian capital.

The IRGC-managed Fars News agency announced the commander’s death on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Another important Iranian military official named Haji Rahimi is also dead

Haji Rahimi was named as the second commander killed in the attack on Iran’s consulate building in the Syrian capital, according to the statement shared by state news agency IRNA on Monday night.

Haji Rahimi was reportedly a coordinator for the Quds Force, according to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News.

This was a major victory for Israel, but the Iranians will inevitably respond. In fact, Iran’s ambassador to Syria has already publicly stated that the response will be “harsh”

Iranian Ambassador to Syria Hossein Akbari, who was not injured, said at least five people had been killed in the attack and that Tehran’s response would be “harsh.”

The Iranian Embassy in Lebanon said that the “barbaric Israeli aggression is a flagrant violation of international laws, diplomatic norms, and the requirements of the Vienna Convention.”

We shall see what Iran chooses to do.

As Zero Hedge has aptly noted, if Iran’s response is too severe, it could spark “an all-out regional war”…

Depending on Iran’s response, this could be the start of an all-out regional war. For months now, Iranian-made ballistic missiles and drones have rained down on Israel, fired by Iran’s proxies in Lebanon and Yemen. This new brazen Israeli attack on Iran’s embassy takes things into uncharted territory, and also opens up the potential for the Iranians to target Israeli embassies abroad.

Of course the Iranians have already been escalating matters.

Prior to the IDF airstrike on Damascus on Monday, Iranian-backed militants in Iraq used a drone to attack a key naval base in southern Israel

In a significant first of the Gaza war marking a very serious escalation, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that a drone which slammed into a naval base in Israel’s southernmost city of Eilat early Monday morning was launched from Iraq.

The IDF its statement said it identified a “suspicious aerial target” that breached Israeli airspace “from the east” before making impact “in the Eilat Bay area” on the Red Sea. While this isn’t necessarily the first instance of Iraqi militant groups claiming to have fired on Eliat, it appears to be the first time that direct impact was made on an Israeli navy base and that the IDF has confirmed it.

How far can both sides push one another before events spiral completely out of control?

Sadly, we are getting dangerously close to a point of no return.

Meanwhile, the Israeli government is also having to deal with violent anti-Netanyahu protests all over the nation

Israeli police violently clashed with protesters across the country last night, as tens of thousands took to streets across the nation to oppose Benjamin Netanyahu’s leadership during the Israel-Hamas war.

Protesters from all parts of Israeli society flooded streets to share their rage at the Israeli prime minister and his handling of the war in Gaza that has so far left nearly 33,000 people, most of whom are civilians, dead.

And police took extreme measures to get them under control, with photographers capturing brutal moments where cops dragged demonstrators across tarmac and beat them into submission.

Benjamin Netanyahu certainly isn’t going to allow such protests to alter the course that he has set. He continues to insist that the war will never be won unless the IDF goes into Rafah

Israel will defeat Hamas by entering the terrorist stronghold of Rafah in the Gaza Strip and destroying the remaining battalions there, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed Sunday night.

“There is no victory without entering Rafah; there is no victory without destroying the Hamas battalions there,” said Netanyahu in a primetime address, adding that the operation “will take time, but it will happen.”

The premier reiterated that only a combination of military pressure and tough negotiations would bring about the release of the remaining 134 hostages taken to Gaza by Palestinian terrorists on Oct. 7.

As I discussed last week, it appears that a ground operation in Rafah will begin either this month or next month.

While all of this is happening in the Middle East, we desperately need strong leadership in the White House.

Instead, either Joe Biden or Kamala Harris will be running things until at least January 2025…

Only 38 percent of likely 2024 voters believe President Joe Biden will be alive at the end of another four-year term, according to an exclusive poll for DailyMail.com.

And that means one thing: Vice President Kamala Harris is just as likely to be in the top job as Biden come January 2029 if he wins reelection.

Some 36 percent of likely voters believe Harris will be president at the end of the term. The exact same proportion as think Biden will be in the job.

When the time comes to make absolutely critical decisions regarding the conflict in the Middle East, do you trust either of them to be up to the job?

For a long time, we have been warned that the Middle East would eventually erupt in flames.

Now we are right at the door.

Unfortunately, most people in the western world have no idea how bad this war in the Middle East is going to become.

US Strikes Iran-Backed Targets in Syria https://americanconservativemovement.com/us-strikes-iran-backed-targets-in-syria/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/us-strikes-iran-backed-targets-in-syria/#comments Mon, 13 Nov 2023 05:41:16 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=198427 DCNF(Daily Caller)—The U.S. military struck at a training facility and a safe house in eastern Syria used by Iran’s paramilitary group and its proxies on Sunday, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said in a statement.

Iran-backed militias in Iraq and Syria have attempted at least 46 drone and rocket attacks on U.S. and coalition forces in the region after promising escalation in response to U.S. support for Israel’s war against Hamas. Sunday’s strikes are the second in one week and third round overall since the ramp-up in attacks on U.S. troops began on Oct. 17, although U.S. retaliation has not mitigated attacks from Iran’s proxy forces thus far.

“U.S. military forces conducted precision strikes today on facilities in eastern Syria used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran-affiliated groups in response to continued attacks against U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria,” Austin said in the statement Sunday. “The strikes were conducted against a training facility and a safe house near the cities of Abu Kamal and Mayadin, respectively.”

Local media and security researchers reported casualties at the site of the strikes. The reports could not be immediately confirmed.

“The President has no higher priority than the safety of U.S. personnel, and he directed today’s action to make clear that the United States will defend itself, its personnel, and its interests,” Austin said in the statement.

At least 56 U.S. troops reported injuries as a result of the attacks and since returned to duty, the Pentagon has said. Some of the injuries included traumatic brain injury.

Iranian-backed militias in the Middle East hope to draw the U.S. into a wider conflict, the Pentagon says.

The Biden administration previously said its retaliatory strikes would deter Iran-backed militias from attacking further.

“We want to make sure that we can contain this conflict to Israel and Hamas. We are not and have not seen this conflict widen beyond that region, beyond Israel,” Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said on Nov. 9. “It’s important to remember that we are sending a message and that that message has been received.”

Wagner Group to Bolster Hezbollah, Which Means the Middle East War Is About to Get Bigger https://americanconservativemovement.com/wagner-group-to-bolster-hezbollah-which-means-the-middle-east-war-is-about-to-get-bigger/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/wagner-group-to-bolster-hezbollah-which-means-the-middle-east-war-is-about-to-get-bigger/#respond Thu, 02 Nov 2023 19:29:49 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=198099 There is only one reason Hezbollah in Lebanon would want antiaircraft weapons to be supplied to them from a Russian paramilitary group. They intend to attack Israel from the north, creating a two-front war with Israel already embroiled in an invasion of Gaza to the south.

Unnamed U.S. officials have said that Wagner Group, a Russian paramilitary organization, intends to supply the Lebanese militia Hezbollah with an air-defense system. This information is based on intelligence reports. The system in question, the Russian SA-22, employs antiaircraft missiles and air-defense guns to intercept aircraft.

While the U.S. has not yet confirmed the delivery of the system, officials are closely monitoring discussions between Wagner Group and Hezbollah. The possible transfer of the air-defense system is a matter of significant concern to U.S. officials.

Wagner Group has played a crucial role in supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who is allied with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In Syria, the group’s troops have been instrumental in bolstering Assad’s regime.

The saber rattling has been ongoing from Iran and their proxies ever since the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on October 7. But it appears escalation is very likely which means the United States could be drawn into the conflict. And that may be exactly what Russia wants. Wagner Group’s affiliation with Russia has been in jeopardy for months, but Russian President Vladimir Putin has tried to coral the group during their ongoing war with Ukraine.

While Wagner Group’s efforts in Ukraine were often forced, the Middle East is right up their alley. Their presence in Syria and other Middle Eastern nations has kept them pertinent for Russia’s greater global plans and a protracted, broad conflict in the region would play on their strengths. They have already operated side-by-side with Hezbollah in Syria. Working with them in Lebanon on Israel’s northern front may be the catalyst for a much larger war.

The reported intelligence regarding Wagner’s intentions comes at a time of wider apprehension over Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed militia, potentially opening a northern front against Israel. To counter this, the U.S. has deployed an aircraft carrier in the Eastern Mediterranean as a deterrent against Hezbollah and Iran.

Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, is expected to deliver a speech on Friday, marking his first public comments since the recent hostilities between Hamas and Israel. Analysts will closely analyze his speech for any indications of Hezbollah’s intentions to join the conflict.

As Michael Snyder from End of the American Dream noted, Hezbollah appears to be headed into war:

Is Hezbollah on the Verge of Entering the War in the Middle East?

There are all sorts of rumors floating around on social media that Hezbollah is about to join the war in the Middle East.  In this article, I am going to go over what has been confirmed and what has not been confirmed.  If Hezbollah chooses to enter the war, things are going to get really crazy.  The terror organization has approximately 100,000 highly trained fighters, and it possesses well over 100,000 missiles.  If thousands upon thousands of missiles start raining down on Tel Aviv and other Israeli cities, the response by the IDF will be overwhelmingly forceful.  In other words, we could be about to witness a truly apocalyptic scenario play out right in front of our eyes.

On Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian told the entire world that there will be “harsh consequences” if a ceasefire in Gaza does not happen immediately…

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian warned on Wednesday of “harsh consequences” if attacks continue on the Gaza Strip, the latest in a series of warnings from the country, which backs Hamas in Gaza and militias elsewhere in the region.

“If an immediate ceasefire doesn’t take place in Gaza Strip and the rapid attacks by U.S. and Zionist Regime continue then the consequences would be harsh,” he said in Ankara.

So what would “harsh consequences” look like?

That is a very good question.

If the Iranians plan to take more direct action, one of the first things that is likely to happen is that Hezbollah will officially enter the war.

Of course there has already been constant fighting along the northern border.  Since October 7th, 47 Hezbollah fighters have been killed in clashes with the IDF…

With dozens of Hezbollah fighters killed in three weeks of border clashes with Israel, the Lebanese group is working to stem its losses as it prepares for the possibility of a drawn-out conflict, three sources familiar with its thinking said.

The Iran-backed group has lost 47 fighters to Israeli strikes at Lebanon’s frontier since its Palestinian ally Hamas and Israel went to war on Oct. 7 – about a fifth of the number killed in a full-scale war between Hezbollah and Israel in 2006.

But what we have seen so far is just small potatoes compared to what would happen if Hezbollah officially joins the war. What that happens, the entire world will know it because vast numbers of missiles will start raining down on Israel.

In recent hours, I have seen all sorts of rumors on social media that Hezbollah has warned that it will join the war if the fighting in Gaza does not end by Friday.  Here is just one example

HEZBOLLAH & IRAN informed America that they have until Friday morning (before Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah’s speech) to end the aggression against Gaza, or else they will enter into a direct and open war with the entire resistance axis and there will be no going back.

I have not been able to find any confirmation of this rumor from any mainstream source.

But it is true that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah is scheduled to give a major speech on Friday…

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah is set to deliver a speech on Friday, his first public address since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas.

The speech is scheduled for 3 p.m. Israel time, during a ceremony to honor the “martyrs who died on the road to Jerusalem,” according to pro-Hezbollah news outlet Al Mayadeen.

And it is being reported that the head of Iran’s elite Quds Force has landed in Beirut…

Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, the leader of Iran’s elite Quds Force, landed in Beirut this Tuesday. According to Lebanon’s Nidaa al-Watan newspaper, this isn’t his first visit since the Gaza war erupted.

The timing is noteworthy, as it precedes a significant speech by Hezbollah’s chief, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

His arrival could definitely be an indication that something is up.

But we will just have to wait and see if anything changes on Friday or the days immediately following.

If Hezbollah does decide to pull the trigger and join the war, there is going to be a tremendous amount of death and destruction. In recent articles, I have stated that Hezbollah possesses an arsenal of 130,000 missiles.

That is actually the most conservative number that is floating around out there, and that is why I have been using it. But I have also seen estimates of 150,000, 180,000 and 200,000.

Nobody in the western world actually knows the true number, but everyone agrees that it is very large. And Iran has been feeding Hezbollah even more missiles on a continual basis for a very long time. Of course Israel possesses very sophisticated anti-missile systems, but they can only handle so many missiles at a time.

If Hezbollah starts launching thousands of missiles at Israeli cities, most of them will get through.

Could this be what I saw on the morning of April 17th, 2022?  In my book entitled “End Times”, I shared what I was shown…

With all that being said, I would like to share what I was shown about Israel on the morning of April 17th, 2022.

This was an experience that I had while asleep, but it was qualitatively different from a normal dream.  Those that have similar experiences know what I am talking about.

In this experience, I saw an endless barrage of missiles being fired at Israel during what seemed to be a major war in the Middle East.  The missiles were being launched in rapid fire fashion, and it kind of reminded me of some of the footage that I have seen from Ukraine.

I did not see where the missiles landed.  I also did not see the death and destruction that they caused.

Of course Israel has very advanced anti-missile systems, and so perhaps a lot of these missiles were being intercepted.  I was not shown any of that.

My perspective was from the side of those firing the missiles.  There seemed to be a lot of emotion.  It appeared to me that the goal was to inflict as much damage upon Israel as possible.

These missiles were not being fired from a vast distance away.  Rather, they all seemed to be coming from other nations or terror groups in the Middle East.

And in my dream I had the impression that there were more missiles pointed at the land of Israel than anywhere else on the globe.

Those that were firing all of those missiles were not identified during that experience.

But certainly Hezbollah possesses the kind of firepower that I witnessed.

If Hezbollah chooses to fire thousands of missiles at Israel, the Israelis will respond.

And the response will be even more devastating than the initial attack.

At this point, the Israelis fully understand that this is a fight for national survival.

When Hamas terrorists invaded Israel on October 7th, they were told “to kill every person we see”

Israel’s Shin Bet released footage on Wednesday of a Hamas terrorist describing his actions in the south of Israel during the October 7 massacre.

“The mission was simply to kill,” said Hamas operative Omar Abu Rusha. “We weren’t supposed to kidnap. Just kill.”

He specified: “[We were told] to kill every person we see and come back.”

The interviewer asked if he was told to make any distinction between men, women, and children. He said he was not.

And a top Hamas official recently stated during a television interview that his organization will do the same thing over and over again until Israel is destroyed.

When there are people that are absolutely determined to kill you, that severely limits your options. There will be no peace with Hamas or Hezbollah. Both organizations are fundamentally committed to wiping out the nation of Israel.

So now the final confrontation between the two sides has begun, and it appears that it could soon reach a cataclysmic stage.

Now That Israel Has Entered Gaza, All Eyes Are on Hezbollah, Iran and Turkey https://americanconservativemovement.com/now-that-israel-has-entered-gaza-all-eyes-are-on-hezbollah-iran-and-turkey/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/now-that-israel-has-entered-gaza-all-eyes-are-on-hezbollah-iran-and-turkey/#comments Tue, 31 Oct 2023 04:33:50 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=198024 (The Economic Collapse Blog)—Now we are going to find out who was bluffing and who was not bluffing.  Israeli troops have gone into Gaza, and we are being told that this is a war that could last for months.  Of course it could easily last a lot longer than that.  If the stated goal is to eliminate Hamas, that certainly won’t be easy.  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is calling this a second war of independence, and he just told the world that “Never Again is now”

Netanyahu said troops that he has met in the field are determined to make Hamas pay for its actions on October 7.

“They are determined to eradicate this evil from the world, for our existence and, I add — for all of humanity.”

Netanyahu continued: “We always said, ‘Never Again’. Never Again’ is now.”

So Israel was clearly not bluffing.

Now we shall see what Hezbollah does.

Hezbollah officials have warned multiple times that they will enter the war if Israel goes into Gaza. Was Hezbollah just bluffing?

So far, a limited number of rockets have been fired back and forth along Israel’s northern border since Netanyahu made his speech…

Several rocket volleys were fired from Lebanon at northern Israel on Sunday, and the Israel Defense Forces said it hit terror cells and sites belonging to the Hezbollah terror group, as skirmishes continued on the northern frontier and the army continues its war with Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip in the south.

According to the IDF, rockets were launched from Lebanon at the upper and western Galilee several times throughout the day, setting off sirens in towns including Kiryat Shmona, Nahariya, Shlomi, Tuba-Zangariyye, Rosh Pina, Ayelet Hashahar, and Hatzor Haglilit.

If this is all that Hezbollah does, the Israelis will greatly celebrate.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe that Hezbollah was just bluffing, and I think soon we will see some major moves from them.

I also don’t think that Iran was bluffing.

On Sunday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi publicly stated that the Israelis have “crossed the red lines” that Iran had established…

Israel has “crossed the red lines” in Gaza, which “may force everyone to take action,” Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi said Sunday, while US national security adviser Jake Sullivan warned of an “elevated risk” of a spillover conflict in the Middle East.

Okay, so your “red lines” have been crossed.

What are you going to do about it? So far, the answer is not much.

But the Iranians are conducting “massive war games” right now…

IRAN has staged massive war games with 200 helicopters and missile launchers as tensions rage over Israel.

Tanks, aircraft and troops were deployed by the Islamic Republic for the exercise dubbed “Authority 1402”.

During these war games, the Iranians have been firing new versions of their domestically-made missiles

Tehran’s military launched the drills – including using upgraded versions of their domestically-made missiles, Dawn and Diamond.

They also tested new bombs as well as attack helicopters.

The choppers launched missiles in the dark and destroyed the pretend enemy using night vision systems.

Of course these war games are not going to intimidate anyone.

If the Iranians intend to stop what is going on, they are going to have to take action.

For now, the Iranians are limiting themselves to conducting strikes on U.S. bases in the region through their proxies

Attacks on US military outposts in Iraq and Syria have continued over the weekend. Al-Mayadeen news and other regional outlets have reported that there have been several attacks by Iran-backed militias on Saturday and Sunday. Russian media has also reported on the fresh attacks, calling recent Pentagon airstrikes on Syria an “unsuccessful bid to deter the militias.”

A statement by a coalition of Shia paramilitary groups said, “The Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the American occupation base in Al-Tanf, Syria, with two drones, which directly hit their targets.” They carried out the attack from just across the Iraq border into Syria.

Reports say separately that the al-Shaddadi base in eastern Syria was also hit with two drones, and al-Omar base and oil field was struck. The latter was reportedly attacked a mere hours after the US airstrikes.

Al-Mayadeen had says ago cited a statement from the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades which said the group is willing to fight “a war of attrition against the enemy that will extend for years.”

The recent U.S. airstrikes were supposed to put an end to this.

Obviously that did not work. So what is Joe Biden’s next move?

Meanwhile,Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is making all sorts of noise.

At a pro-Palestinian rally on Saturday, he declared that Israel is “a war criminal”

Türkiye will introduce Israel to the world as a war criminal, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday.

Speaking at “Great Palestine Meeting,” a pro-Palestine rally in Istanbul, Erdogan said: “Israel, we will also declare you as a war criminal to the world, we are preparing for it, and we will introduce Israel to the world as a war criminal.”

Erdogan stressed that the Western world mobilized its politicians, and media to legitimize the massacre of the innocent people in Gaza, adding: “Israel is committing war crimes.”

And Erdogan also threatened Israel with potential military action

In comments that have prompted Israeli outcry, and led the country to withdraw its diplomatic presence, president Erdogan suggested assaults on Gaza constituted a “massacre”.

In the same speech, he reportedly said that Turkey can “come at any night unexpectedly” to ecstatic reception from hundreds of thousands of attendees.

The footage, which is currently circulating on X, formerly known as Twitter, purportedly showed the pro-Palestine crowd responding with the chant: “Turkish military to Gaza.”

Would Turkey actually do such a thing?

Erdogan is completely nuts, but I can’t imagine that he would want to risk a direct conflict with Israel. If Turkey does attack Israel, would the U.S. strike Turkey? The U.S. and Turkey are both members of NATO, and so that would create quite an awkward situation.

My friends, we have truly entered unprecedented territory. A major war has erupted in the Middle East, and now we shall watch to see what all of the interested parties do next…

Get Ready, Because the U.S. Is Going to War in the Middle East https://americanconservativemovement.com/get-ready-because-the-u-s-is-going-to-war-in-the-middle-east/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/get-ready-because-the-u-s-is-going-to-war-in-the-middle-east/#comments Thu, 12 Oct 2023 11:29:04 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=197676 Editor’s Note: Call it wishful thinking, but I’m not as certain as Michael Snyder that Israel will launch a full-scale ground offensive against Gaza. It definitely appeared that was going to be the case initially, but it seems equally likely now that they will keep their ground incursions limited. If they do, it’s still possible that an all-out Middle East war can be avoided. Again, that might be wishful thinking on my part but if Israel believes they can get the job done without sending in tanks, then there’s a chance U.S. involvement will be minimal. Here’s Snyder…

(End of the American Dream)—We are on the precipice of a major regional war in the Middle East, and the U.S. military is going to be involved.  Of course if this war was just limited to a fight between Israel and Hamas, there would be no need for the U.S. military to intervene, because the IDF can handle Hamas quite easily.

But Hezbollah is another matter entirely.  Hezbollah possesses an extremely powerful military, and they have an arsenal of approximately 130,000 missiles ready to be fired at Israel.  If Hezbollah enters the war and starts firing thousands upon thousands of missiles at Israel, the United States will take action.

Unfortunately, we are already dangerously close to that point.  Hezbollah has not formally entered the war yet, but clashes along Israel’s northern border have been happening for four consecutive days

Cross-border violence between Lebanon and Israel has escalated into a fourth day, pushing many Lebanese in southern towns to leave as Hezbollah and the Israeli military continue to trade fire.

Hezbollah said it fired precision missiles on an Israeli position across from the Lebanese town of Dharya on Wednesday, drawing retaliatory Israeli shelling that has left a number of houses damaged.

Once Israel launches a ground operation inside Gaza, I believe that Hezbollah will formally enter the war shortly thereafter.

But it appears that Hezbollah is not just gearing up to fight Israel.

In fact, they have issued a statement declaring the U.S. to be a “full partner” in the conflict with Hamas…

Hezbollah issues a statement saying the United States is a ‘full partner’ of Israeli ‘aggression’ on the Gaza Strip. Hezbollah also says that it holds the United States fully responsible for the airstrikes that are killing civilians in Gaza.

And one Hezbollah official is publicly warning that his forces in Iraq “are ready to direct qualitative strikes at the American enemy in its bases”

The leader of a prominent Iranian-backed militia in Iraq threatens to attack American bases in retaliation if the United States intervenes in the war between Hamas and Israel in Gaza.

“Our missiles, drones, and special forces are ready to direct qualitative strikes at the American enemy in its bases and disrupt its interests if it intervenes in this battle,” Ahmad “Abu Hussein” al-Hamidawi, head of the Kataib Hezbollah militia, says in a statement. He also threatened to launch missiles at Israeli targets.

Of course the U.S. has been delivering some very strong warnings to Hezbollah as well

The United States and Allied Countries through Back-Channels have reportedly been issuing Direct Warnings to Hezbollah against them Escalating and possibly Joining the Israel-Hamas War; however so far Senior Biden Administration Officials do not believe that Hezbollah is planning to Join the War, but that could always change.

I am sure that the Biden administration is desperately hoping that Hezbollah stays on the sidelines, but they are also preparing for the worst.

On Wednesday, we learned that a second U.S. aircraft carrier is being sent to the Eastern Mediterranean…

US National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby confirmed that the United States will be sending the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier to the Eastern Mediterranean, after it was already announced that the USS Gerald R. Ford would be deployed as part of “support” operations related to the Israel-Gaza conflict.

However, Kirby said that the Eisenhower will not be directly joining or escorting. Instead, the carrier will be in the region for availability if called upon. While in a press briefing Kirby tried to downplay the dual carrier deployment as somewhat routine or expected, they will certainly be on standby to potentially intervene if all hell continues breaking loose in the Middle East.

Hopefully those carriers will be smart and will stay a long way from shore.

Because Hezbollah possesses missiles that are capable of sinking a carrier.

Needless to say, images of a sinking carrier would cause great fury here in the United States.

The U.S. is also deploying special forces to the region in case they are needed to locate American hostages

The United States is readying its special forces to help Israel locate American hostages, as waves of Israeli Defense Force reservists arrived at JFK airport in New York to join the fight against Hamas.

Two senior U.S. military officials told The Messenger that ‘door kickers’ have been put on alert in a nearby European country, ready to assist Israel if necessary in their battle against Hamas. The Israeli death toll rose to 1,200 on Tuesday.

This is just the beginning. As this war escalates, more U.S. forces will inevitably be deployed.

Sadly, there can never be lasting peace with these Islamic terrorists.  Franklin Graham recently shared a video of a prominent Hamas leader declaring what their real long-term plan is

On social media, Franklin cited a video of Hamas’ Mahmoud al-Zahar, and wrote, “We just saw Hamas brutally murder 900+ Israelis, most all civilians. If you want to know what else they’re after, a Hamas commander made it clear. He said they want to kill every Jew and every Christian – and take control of the ‘entire 510 million sq. kilometers of Planet Earth.’ If you think what is happening in Israel is limited to Israel, think again.”

They will never stop until they rule the entire world. There is no negotiating with people like that.

On Friday, there is supposed to be a “global Day of Rage” for those that support Hamas…

Khaled Mashal, a leader and founding member of the Islamic terror group Hamas, has called for a global Day of Rage this Friday, saying “this is the time for Jihad.”

Hamas, an Islamic political and military organization that governs the Gaza Strip, carried out a brutal, highly coordinated terror attack on Israel over the weekend, slaughtering more than 1,200 people—including fourteen Americans—and wounding more than 2,100, according to the latest reports. The Palestinian terrorists also took more than 130 civilians hostage and have threatened to execute them on live broadcasts.

Mashal reportedly gave a speech on Tuesday exhorting Muslim across the world to “show anger” and be “martyrs for Al-Aqsa” in what he called “the Friday of Al-Aqsa flood.” Hamas has dubbed their murderous rampage in Israel Saturday “operation Al-Aqsa Flood,” saying the assault was “in defense of the Aqsa Mosque,” the main congregational mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Hopefully there will not be too much violence.

But I can’t say that I am too optimistic about that.

For a long time I have been warning that a historic war would be coming to the Middle East, and now it is here.

So many people are going to die, and that should deeply sadden all of us.

More Americans are likely to die too, because it is just a matter of time before the U.S. military becomes a direct part of this conflict.

Will Israel Soon Turn Damascus Into a Pile of Rubble? https://americanconservativemovement.com/will-israel-soon-turn-damascus-into-a-pile-of-rubble/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/will-israel-soon-turn-damascus-into-a-pile-of-rubble/#comments Thu, 12 Oct 2023 03:22:41 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=197670 (The Economic Collapse Blog)—As soon as Israel sends troops into Gaza, a chain of events will begin which nobody is going to be able to control.  I believe that one of those events will be Hezbollah entering the conflict from the north.  As I discussed yesterday, there is no way that Hezbollah is just going to sit there and watch Hamas get systematically wiped out by the IDF.  Hezbollah is already mobilizing their forces and making preparations to join the fight.  But if that happens, Israel is going to hit back extremely hard.  In fact, there are reports that Israel has already warned Hezbollah that if it enters the war the Israelis will “destroy Damascus”

Ynet News :

“IDF will destroy Damascus, target Syrian President Assad if Hezbollah joins war; US warships will support Israel in war.” – Message relayed via France

Unfortunately, this threat has not caused Hezbollah to back down.

In fact, Fox News is reporting that the Israelis are now “actively fighting a secondary front along Israel’s northern border with Hezbollah in Lebanon”…

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus said Wednesday that the Israeli army shelled the Lebanese border town of Duhaira and the surrounding area where the missile attack came from. He also said Israel was actively fighting a secondary front along Israel’s northern border with Hezbollah in Lebanon, in addition to the counteroffensive the IDF is launching in the Gaza Strip.

“We have deployed tens of thousands of additional units along the northern border,” Conricus said, including infantry, special forces, armored forces, artillery, air forces, and “additional assets including intelligence and logistics.”

Hezbollah has not formally entered the war yet. But I think that will likely happen very quickly once Israel invades Gaza. So could Israel actually turn Damascus into a pile or rubble?

Well, just consider what the IDF is already doing to Gaza. We are being told that Gaza was hit by an astounding 250 airstrikes in a single hour

Pictures show neighbourhoods in Gaza almost destroyed after Israel launched 250 airstrikes in just one hour.

It comes after an Israeli defense official promise the strip will become a ‘tent city’ with every building to be demolished.

The IDF is not messing around.

One Israeli military official admitted that they are attacking “on an unprecedented scale”, and nobody can really argue with that fact…

Brig. Gen. Omer Tishler, the Israel Air Force’s chief of staff, says fighter jets are striking the Gaza Strip on an “unprecedented scale.”

“We are attacking the Gaza Strip on an unprecedented scale, because what happened here is something that has never happened before. There is an enemy here firing rockets, raiding a civilian population,” Tishler says in a call with reporters.

“We are never going back to that,” he says.

So far, a whopping 2,687 targets inside Gaza have been hit

The Israel Defense Forces has carried out strikes against 2,687 targets across the Gaza Strip since Saturday, according to fresh military data.

According to the data, 1,329 of the targets are multi-story buildings containing Hamas assets, including war rooms where the terror group manages the fighting against Israel.

One of those targets was the Islamic University of Gaza. We are being told that it was a “central training center”, and now it has been completely destroyed…

The Israel Defense Forces says it has bombed the Islamic University of Gaza, “which serves as a central training center for Hamas engineers.”

The military says fighter jets targeted the campus, located in Gaza City.

According to the IDF, the university was “an important center of political and military power” for Hamas and a “training institution for the development and production of weapons.”

In the past, Israel was always so careful to avoid collateral damage when it would conduct attacks in Gaza.

But now Israel’s defense minister is making it clear that there will be no holding back

Yoav Gallant, the Israeli defense minister, said ‘all restraints on fighters have been released’ and promised an intensification of fighting.

‘Hamas wanted a change and it will get one. What was in Gaza will no longer be,’ he said.

‘We started the offensive from the air, later on we will also come from the ground. We’ve been controlling the area since Day Two and we are on the offensive. It will only intensify.

‘Whoever comes to decapitate, murder women, Holocaust survivors — we will eliminate him at the height of our power and without compromise.’

If the IDF were to apply the same treatment to Damascus, it would draw Syria into the war.

Once Hamas, Hezbollah and Syria have all entered the war, it is probably just a matter of time before Iran joins the conflict too.

And once Iran enters the war, there is no telling how far things could escalate.

Already, one member of the Knesset named Revital Gotliv has been calling for the use of nuclear weapons

“Jericho Missile! Jericho Missile! Strategic alert. before considering the introduction of forces. Doomsday weapon! This is my opinion. May God preserve all our strength,” Gotliv wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Monday, according to a translation.

Another post says: “I urge you to do everything and use Doomsday weapons fearlessly against our enemies,” adding that Israel “must use everything in its arsenal.”

On Tuesday, she continued with her calls of urgency.

“Only an explosion that shakes the Middle East will restore this country’s dignity, strength and security!” Gotliv posted. “It’s time to kiss doomsday. Shooting powerful missiles without limit. Not flattening a neighbourhood. Crushing and flattening Gaza. … without mercy! without mercy!”

Everyone knows that Israel has nukes, and let us hope that they will not be used any time soon. But we should all be able to understand why she is so furious.

At one location that Hamas attacked in southern Israel, “knives were found left in some of the children”

There is evidence in Kibbutz Be’eri that children were slain in front of their parents, Maj. Doron Spielman says. Knives were found left in some of the children.

Bodies are still being taken out of the kibbutz, which Spielman says will be remembered as a symbol of Hamas’s massacre, like Auschwitz is the symbol of the Holocaust.

Some 1,200 Israelis were slaughtered by the terror group, including over 100 at Be’eri alone.

When Hamas decided to rape women, murder children and kidnap the elderly, they awakened the full fury of the Jewish people. And when Israel sends troops into Gaza, the Great Middle East War will be unleashed.

In my most recent book, I wrote about an “endless barrage of missiles” being fired at Israel. I believe that is about to become a reality.

There is going to be so much death and destruction in the days ahead, and there will be many more cities that will be transformed into piles of rubble before this is all over.

After Israel Sends Troops Into Gaza, Watch for Hezbollah, Iran, Syria and the U.S. to All Get Involved in the Great Middle East War https://americanconservativemovement.com/after-israel-sends-troops-into-gaza-watch-for-hezbollah-iran-syria-and-the-u-s-to-all-get-involved-in-the-great-middle-east-war/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/after-israel-sends-troops-into-gaza-watch-for-hezbollah-iran-syria-and-the-u-s-to-all-get-involved-in-the-great-middle-east-war/#comments Wed, 11 Oct 2023 10:41:34 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=197658 (The Economic Collapse Blog)—“Escalation” will be a word that is used a lot in the coming days.  Once Israel sends troops into Gaza, it is going to trigger a series of events that nobody is going to be able to control.  But there is no turning back now.  When Hamas decided to rape women, behead children and kidnap the elderly, they made any other course of action impossible.  Israel must go into Gaza.  And as I write this article, we are witnessing the largest mobilization of Israelis troops that we have seen since the Yom Kippur War

Tens of thousands of Israeli troops are on the move as the country prepares for a possible ground operation in response to the surprise attack launched by Hamas early Saturday morning.

More than 300,000 troops have been called up, the largest mobilization on short notice in Israel’s history, according to Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus. Those in the south are readying ahead of the forthcoming operation in Gaza and defending the border. Jeeps, tanks and other large military vehicles have been seen heading south as well

Along the northern border with Lebanon, the IDF has deployed tens of thousands of troops, including reservists and regular units, Conricus said. Tanks have also been spotted in the area.

Once Israeli troops enter Gaza, the Great Middle East War will have begun.

Even now, Israeli aircraft are “razing entire districts” inside Gaza in preparation for the coming invasion…

Israeli air strikes hammered Gaza on Tuesday, razing entire districts and filling morgues with dead Palestinians as Israel took revenge for the Hamas assaults that have triggered some of the worst blood-letting in 75 years of conflict.

Across the barrier wall enclosing the coastal enclave, Israeli soldiers collected the last of Israel’s dead four days after Hamas gunmen rampaged through towns, killing hundreds of people in the deadliest Palestinian militant attack in Israel’s history.

In the past, Israel has tried to hit Hamas really hard in order to deter future attacks. But now the mission is to utterly destroy Hamas.

At this point, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is characterizing this fight as a battle between the civilized world and barbarism

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced his intent to wage an unprecedented military offensive against Hamas in Gaza, a war that he has characterized as a civilizational clash.

“And just as the forces of civilization united to defeat ISIS, the forces of civilization must support Israel in defeating Hamas,” Netanyahu said on Monday. “In fighting Hamas, Israel is not only fighting for its own people. It is fighting for every country that stands against barbarism. Israel will win this war, and when Israel wins, the entire civilized world wins.”

There is no way that Israel can “win this war” without going into Gaza.

And that is precisely what is about to happen.

In fact, it is being reported that the Israeli government has already informed the Egyptian government that it is gearing up for “a months-long ground campaign in Gaza”

Israel is readying for a months-long ground campaign in Gaza, an Egyptian official tells The Times of Israel, saying that this message has been passed along from Jerusalem to Cairo.

The Egyptian official says Israel has thus far dismissed Cairo’s efforts to mediate any sort of de-escalation, indicating that it wants to deal a knock-out blow to Hamas before entertaining the idea of a ceasefire.

So when Israel is systematically destroying Hamas, do you think that there is any chance that Hezbollah will just sit on the sidelines and watch it happen?

No way.

In fact, a Hamas official has stated that Hezbollah “will join the battle” if Gaza is invaded…

A senior Hamas official warned Israel on Tuesday that Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah “will join the battle if Gaza is subjected to a war of annihilation,” according to the Associated Press.

That is why the Israelis are sending so many military resources to the northern border.

They know that this will be a two front war

On the third day of war between Hamas and Israel, residents of northern Israel were rushing to evacuate towns near the Lebanese border and buying essentials in preparation for a possible escalation.

As in much of the country, an eerie silence prevailed throughout the north, broken only by the rain showers periodically breaking over the area.

Driving up from central Israel, there was relatively little traffic on what is usually one of Israel’s busiest highways, Highway 6. On both sides of the road, tanks and military bulldozers on carriers headed to the southern and northern border.

But it won’t end there.

As I mentioned yesterday, Israel has reportedly warned Hezbollah that Damascus will be destroyed if Hezbollah tries to send troops into Israel…

Israel gives clear warning to Hezbollah:

If Hezbollah joins the war, the IDF will completely destroy Damascus and will directly target the Iran-backed Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. Moreover, US warships will support Israel in this war. This message was delivered by Israel via France.

So that would bring Syria into the war.

And I think that it is a very ominous sign that Israel and Syria are already exchanging artillery fire

The IDF said it was responding to shells fired from Syria into Israel on Tuesday night.

Some of the shells most likely landed in open fields in Israel’s Golan Heights, the military added.

The IDF responded with artillery and mortar fire toward the source of the Syrian shelling.

If Israel ends up fighting Hamas, Hezbollah and Syria all at the same time, do you think that Iran will be able to stay out of the war?

The Iranians seem to fear direct military conflict, but it seems unlikely that they would refuse to fight if all of their allies in the region were getting pummeled by the Israelis. And leaders from the two nations have already been exchanging some very harsh words

“A senior Israeli government source said Monday that Israel has indications that Iran pushed Hamas into carrying out its massive infiltration and deadly assault, and that Iran was also pushing Hezbollah to be ready for conflict with Israel,” the Times of Israel reported.

Khamenei predicted that Israeli military operations would backfire. “The calculation of the illegitimate regime and its supporters in this regard is also wrong,” he said. “The rulers and decision-makers of the Zionist regime and their supporters should know that these actions will bring a greater disaster upon them, and the Palestinian people, with a firmer determination, will slap their hideous faces harder in response to these crimes.”

Of course the moment that Iran launches missiles at Israel, the U.S. will enter the conflict. On Tuesday, Joe Biden made it very clear that the U.S. is standing with Israel in this fight…

President Joe Biden said the U.S. stands with Israel after Hamas’ brutal massacre in Israel, condemning the attack as “pure, unadulterated evil” and pledging to support Israel with military aid as war erupts in the Middle East.

“At this moment, we must be crystal clear: We stand with Israel,” Biden said Tuesday in remarks from the White House State Dining Room. “We will make sure Israel has what it needs to take care of its citizens, defend itself and respond to this attack. There’s no justification for terrorism. There’s no excuse.”

And Biden also confirmed that some of the hostages that are being held by Hamas are U.S. citizens

Biden said Israel has a “right to respond and indeed has a duty to respond” four days after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war on Hamas.

“There are moments in this life − I mean this literally − when pure unadulterated evil is unleashed in this world,” Biden said. “The people of Israel lived through one such moment this weekend.”

An estimated 100 to 150 people in Israel were kidnapped by Hamas militants and are being held captive in Gaza. That includes some Americans, Biden confirmed for the first time.

Hamas made a huge strategic mistake when it decided to take U.S. citizens hostage.

If they were smart, they would return those U.S. citizens immediately. But they aren’t going to do that. So now Joe Biden will have some decisions to make.

Will the U.S. also get involved in the conflict? One retired general seems to think so

The US is likely to directly intervene with air and naval strikes if Israel’s existence is threatened, Ret. Gen. Barry McCaffrey said.

Speaking on Sunday on MSNBC’s “Weekends with Alex Witt,” the four-star US Army general described how such an escalation likely would only occur if Israel’s Middle Eastern neighbors became heavily involved.

“The other shoe we’re waiting to see if it drops is, will Hezbollah intervene out of Lebanon with their 100,000 some odd rockets? Will the West Bank ignite? And what will the Syrians and the Egyptians do?” McCaffrey said.

“I would suggest to you our support of Israel will be absolute, and if we see Syrian military intervention, active Iranian military intervention, we’ll go to war,” McCaffrey added.

For a long time, I have been warning that a great war would be coming to the Middle East.

But it has arrived a bit sooner than I thought.

Once Israeli troops move into Gaza, global events will start to move at a pace that will be absolutely breathtaking.

And at this moment it appears that the beginning of a ground operation could potentially be just hours away.
