This is according to Thai government spokesman Chai Wacharonke, who said in a statement that the country’s cabinet in Bangkok has now given the go-ahead to an official letter of intent.

Chai reported that Thailand underscored in its letter the importance of multipolarity and the rising role that developing nations like Thailand are playing on the international stage. The country believes its vision for the future aligns with BRICS principles.

Thailand also identified a number of ways they believe joining BRICS would be beneficial, including the chance to participate in shaping a new world order and taking on a greater role in the international arena. If it is approved, Thailand would be the first Southeast Asian member of BRICS.

Thailand is just one of several non-member countries that has been invited to participate in a BRICS summit in October with a view to eventually joining the coalition. According to Chai, their attendance there could accelerate their application.

BRICS was originally made up of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Earlier this year, Ethiopia, Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt joined their ranks. Other countries that have expressed a desire to join include Venezuela, Senegal, Pakistan, Belarus, Cuba, Bahrain and Kazakhstan.

Is the dollar on its way out?

The addition of Thailand would bolster the growing financial power of BRICS and its desire to move away from the dollar. The coalition is considered a competitor in an international order that is currently led by developed economies in Europe and the United States. The recently expanded bloc now accounts for roughly 30% of the global economy as well as a population of 3.5 billion, or 45% of the global population. Crucially, it accounts for more than 40% of global oil production.

BRICS countries have been working toward creating a single currency that will enable them to reduce their dependence on the U.S. dollar, which could cause shock waves in the current global economic power hierarchy.

With their own common currency, BRICS countries would be able to carry out trade without using American dollars, reducing the supply and demand of the dollar and possibly weakening its value.

In addition, it would chip away at the dollar’s current position as the main reserve currency for global trade. Right now, many countries keep dollar reserves to provide economic stability; they could seek to diversify their reserves in the presence of an alternative BRICS currency, which would further weaken the dollar’s dominance and influence on the global stage.

At the same time, a common currency could enable BRICS nations to bolster their own local currencies, challenging the dollar in foreign exchange markets.

BRICS nations are also looking to move away from the dollar to diminish the impact of financial sanctions from the West, as was recently seen when the Western financial system SWIFT cut off Russia following its activities in Ukraine in 2022. Nearly half of all of Russia’s foreign currency reserves were frozen. Later the same year, the U.S. restricted exports of semiconductor technology to China.

A senior visiting fellow at the London School of Economics, Shirley Ze Yu, told Al Jazeera: “As the US weaponises the dollar in the Russian and Iran sanctions, there is increasing desire by other developing countries to seek alternative currencies for trade, investment, and reserves, as well as developing alternative multilateral clearance systems outside of SWIFT.”

As BRICS continues to expand its footprint, it is just a matter of time before the dollar is knocked off its throne.

Thai Political Party Wants to Issue a Digital Currency That Expires After Six Months and Can Only Be Spent Close to Citizens’ Homes https://americanconservativemovement.com/thai-political-party-wants-to-issue-a-digital-currency-that-expires-after-six-months-and-can-only-be-spent-close-to-citizens-homes/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/thai-political-party-wants-to-issue-a-digital-currency-that-expires-after-six-months-and-can-only-be-spent-close-to-citizens-homes/#respond Sun, 20 Aug 2023 21:25:26 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=195890 A Thai political party is campaigning on a promise to, once in power, distribute some $280 (10,000 baht) worth of digital currency to citizens.

But, what Pheu Thai Party has in mind would come with some strings attached that observers say looks a lot like programmable CBDCs (central bank digital currencies.)

The main feature of this type of CBDCs is the use of blockchain and then the programming of expiry deadlines and geolocation-dictated restrictions into it.

Namely, the Thai recipients of such digital money – everybody older than 16 and with a digital wallet app on their phone – would not only have to spend it within six months – but also within a 4-kilometer radius of their residence.

The planned move, as reported by the Bangkok Post, is marketed by the party as an economy-stimulating measure, but also one that will serve as a basis for the digital economy to take hold in Thailand.

In line with this, and the drive to include as many people as possible into this, and similar or related schemes around the world, even those without the app would not be left out in the cold.

They, too, could get their 10,000 baht – “all” that they’d have to do in return is provide their national ID which would allow them to get a “personal code,” reports are saying.

This is not the first time the Pheu Thai Party has tried to shore up political support by introducing this idea – there was a similar push before elections in April, but the party placed second.

And now, “the programmable” digital currency handout is back in the spotlight. It isn’t certain that the party will manage to get its candidate in office, but some observers, like those from the Council on Foreign Relations, are convinced this will be the case.

And it remains to be seen if and how, should that happen, Pheu Thai Party will be able to do make good on the promise, since Thailand’s central bank does not approve of the handout, and has itself not yet introduced a CBDC – although it is testing this type of currency.

Thai Princess in a Coma Following Pfizer Jabs Could Prompt Nation to Nullify “Vaccine” Agreement https://americanconservativemovement.com/thai-princess-in-a-coma-following-pfizer-jabs-could-prompt-nation-to-nullify-vaccine-agreement/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/thai-princess-in-a-coma-following-pfizer-jabs-could-prompt-nation-to-nullify-vaccine-agreement/#respond Sun, 05 Feb 2023 11:33:41 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=189885 The bombshell that’s been waiting to happen might finally be here. Admittedly, I sat on this story for a few days to confirm, but now I am confident that there is a legitimate chance Thailand will go after Pfizer after their jabs caused Princess Bajrakitiyabha to go into a coma.

The story has been hard to follow because news has been scant. She collapse in December shortly after getting jabbed. Of course, it was reported that she had a heart condition but no mentions were made about the jabs. The only updates came on January 7 and 8 declaring that she was still in a coma. Since then, nothing has been reported by corporate media.

Here is what Bloomberg reported nearly a month ago. This was among the final updates from corporate media:

Thai Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati remains unconscious more than three weeks after she collapsed due to a heart condition, the palace said.

Treating physicians have concluded she had a severe arrhythmia due to inflammation of the heart caused by mycoplasma infection, the Bureau of the Royal Household said in a statement Sunday.

The 44-year-old princess lost consciousness in northeastern Thailand on Dec. 14 while training her dog for a competition, and was airlifted to Bangkok to receive treatment. She is currently treated with medicines including antibiotics, and on medical equipment to assist with the functioning of her heart, lungs and kidneys, according to the palace.

Bajrakitiyabha, the oldest of King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s seven children from three different marriages, has been seen by some analysts as a potential heir to the throne, which would make her the first female monarch of the Southeast Asian nation. The king, 70, has not appointed an heir since taking the throne in 2016.

The princess has a law degree from Cornell University and had served as a diplomat to Austria and in roles for UN Women and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime. She has also served in the attorney general’s office and holds the rank of general in the king’s Royal Security Command unit.

I will be posting more details about this in the coming days, but here’s a video from Redacted that breaks down the broad strokes (Warning: Language).

Hattip: Redacted. Please leave a comment about this story on my Substack.

Reuters Fact-Checkers “Debunk” Claim That a High Number of Teens Are Developing Heart Problems Post-Jab… It’s “Only” 1 in 6 https://americanconservativemovement.com/reuters-fact-checkers-debunk-claim-that-a-high-number-of-teens-are-developing-heart-problems-post-jab-its-only-1-in-6/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/reuters-fact-checkers-debunk-claim-that-a-high-number-of-teens-are-developing-heart-problems-post-jab-its-only-1-in-6/#respond Sat, 20 Aug 2022 07:16:53 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=178816 The arts of gaslighting and propaganda are actually quite easy to master once an organization abandons any semblance of integrity and desire to spread the truth. The globalist-run “news” organization Reuters has taken its gaslighting and propaganda skills to a new level with its latest “fact check.”

Social media posts had been claiming that a study in Thailand showed heart problems developing in 1/3rd of teens who took the Covid jabs. Reuters came to the rescue of vaxx-nannies by “debunking” those claims. It was “only” 1 in 6 teens who, after taking the Covid “vaccines,” developed “temporary heart rhythm changes.”

I don’t think this was as reassuring as they’d hoped.

In reality, many who read this news will not comprehend the math well enough to realize that one in six teens developing heart issues of any sort is absolutely enormous. This is a bombshell framed in a “debunking.”

If you haven’t been jabbed, don’t. If you’ve been jabbed and you’re considering getting boosted, don’t. If you’ve been jabbed and boosted already, follow Dr. Sherri Tenpenny’s advice and pray for forgiveness.
