The report by UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women Reem Alsalem urged countries and sporting organizations to prohibit “men who identify as women” to compete in sports events for biological females. She wrote that allowing these transgender women in such competitions leads to biological women and girls experiencing “extreme psychological distress” due to physical imbalance with rivals, loss of fair competition and educational and economic opportunities, and violations of privacy.
Alsalem also noted the damage caused by allowing gender-confused males to compete with females have caused in the field of women’s sports in recent years. More than 600 female athletes have lost around 890 medals in more than 400 competitions, in 29 different sports, as a result.
“Giving men so-called hormone blockers so they can compete with women, as some sports leagues do, doesn’t work,” she remarked. Such medications do not reduce men’s natural advantage, and strong hormone drugs can even harm an athlete’s health, noted LifeSiteNews.
The rapporteur also cited the risk of injury to female athletes. This risk increases when biologically female competitors face off against biological males. According to Alsalem, physical harm suffered by female athletes as a result of males competing against them can be characterized as violence. (Related: Men pretending to be “women” can no longer box against real females, says World Boxing Council.)
“Alsalem’s approach challenges the assumption of Western and UN-backed gender policies, which are based on gender as a social construct unrelated to biological sex,” LifeSiteNews pointed out. But instead of praise, the rapporteur and her document received condemnation from representatives of UN member nations.
Dylan Lang, a member of the U.S. mission to the United Nations, rebuked the rapporteur and the document she presented. The diplomat, who was wearing a heart-shaped pin with the colors of the Progress Pride flag during the presentation, accused Alsalem of using “degrading language,” “bullying” and spreading “gender misinformation.” Lang was not alone in his condemnation, as delegates from the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Mexico, Colombia and other nations also joined in.
“Sex must be understood in its ordinary meaning to mean biological sex,” Alsalem said, citing a declaration from the 1995 UN World Conference on Women held in the Chinese capital Beijing. She continued that the idea of “sex based on biology” has been established in the international human rights catalog, as opposed to the concept of “gender.” According to the rapporteur, the two should not be confused.”
“Human rights language and principles must continue to be consistent with science and facts, including biological ones. Multiple studies have given evidence that athletes born male have a performance advantage in sports throughout their lives, although this is most apparent after puberty.”
Despite the condemnation she received, Alsalem appears to have found an ally in the Ordo Iuris Center for International Law (OI). Julia Ksiazek, an analyst for the Warsaw-based OI, put in her two cents on the rapporteur’s findings.
“Alsalem identified a major problem that became fully apparent at the Paris Olympics this year – when it became evident that women were no longer competing against women, but also men who ‘identify’ as women,” Ksiazek said.
“The UN expert rightly noted in her report that athletes’ mental identification does not in any way affect their biological predisposition, which they have by being men. This type of situation is the result of lobbying in international law for the concept of ‘sex with social context’ – gender.”

]]>The vast majority of the Democrats in the House (162 of 212) signed the letter, led by Reps. Sara Jacobs, D-Calif.; Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash.; and Mark Pocan, D-Wis. The letter urges the House of Representatives not to include “provisions that actively target LGBTQ+ service members and LGBTQ+ dependents and threaten the recruitment, retention, and readiness of our Armed Forces” in the National Defense Authorization Act, the bill to fund the military.
The NDAA allocates money to the Department of Defense and it is considered one of the must-pass bills in Congress each year. Two of the letter’s signatories, Reps. Colin Allred, D-Texas, and Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., are running for U.S. Senate in their respective states.
The letter flags provisions House Republicans added to the NDAA that would restrict what the Democrats call “medically necessary care for transgender service members or their family members.” In addition to defunding transgender medical interventions, the provisions would prevent military leaders from approving ideological flags like the LGBTQ “Pride” flag. They would also remove pornographic books and books pushing gender ideology from Department of Defense K-12 school libraries, which the Democrats call a “transgender book ban.” They would also ban any of the NDAA funds from going to “a drag show, drag queen story hour, or similar event.”
The 162 Democrats who signed the letter claim that these provisions would exacerbate the U.S. military’s recruitment and retention crisis and that people who identify as transgender are more likely to serve in the military than those who do not so identify.
“As our nation faces recruitment and retention challenges, attacking transgender people—who are more likely to serve in the U.S. military than cisgender people—is a grave mistake,” the Democrats wrote. “If service members are concerned for their health care, their right to exist, or the well-being of their children and loved ones, they cannot focus on their jobs, thereby weakening military readiness and retention rates.”
“The U.S. government should not prohibit our service members from accessing medically necessary care, especially care that is safe, effective, and supported by every major medical association in the U.S., representing more than 1.3 million doctors,” the letter adds. “The care transgender service members receive is essential for them to be their authentic selves and focus on their mission. Denying this access to health care would deter transgender people from joining the Armed Forces, damage retention efforts, and hurt our military readiness.”
Are these claims true?
Many states have passed laws banning experimental “transgender” medical interventions for minors, such as so-called puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries that remove healthy breasts or sex organs. There is no conclusive evidence that these interventions, euphemistically referred to as “gender-affirming care,” make life better for people struggling with gender dysphoria (the persistent and emotionally painful condition of identifying with the gender opposite one’s sex).
Internal documents from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, or WPATH, a pro-transgender activist group, revealed that the organization’s leaders knew about various side effects of “gender-affirming care,” including cancer in teens and reduced sexual function, as well as the lack of informed consent for procedures with lifelong impacts. These medical professionals endorse the experimental treatments anyway.
Some doctors have gone on record opposing such treatments. Back in 2023 in Florida, many doctors testified in favor of a rule that would prevent Medicaid dollars from funding “gender-affirming care.” The doctors—including psychiatrists, endocrinologists, neurologists, and a former WPATH leader—testified that these interventions are experimental and may do more harm than good.
“The claim that ‘gender affirming’ drugs and surgery are safe, effective, and medically necessary is a triple lie,” Jay Richards, director of the Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Life, Religion, and Family at The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal.
“The complications—some that persist for a lifetime—from these experimental procedures are notorious,” he said. “And while some individuals may report relief from symptoms of gender dysphoria in the short term, there’s no evidence that, on balance, medicalizing a therapy for a mental disorder is beneficial. And by definition, these procedures are not medically necessary—since they attempt to treat a psychological disorder with drugs and surgery that does not directly address the psychological disorder.”
“At best, sex trait motivation drugs and surgery are experimental interventions of doubtful benefit and obvious harms,” Richards added. “Subjecting service members to these experiments makes no sense either for the individuals involved or for military readiness.”
Polls have consistently found that more Americans oppose “gender-affirming care” for minors, even when framed in terms most likely to get a favorable response.
An RMG Research poll in March found that only 22% of respondents supported giving minors access to “gender-affirming care,” while 64% said they opposed it.
A 2022 Pew Research Center survey asked respondents whether they would “make it illegal for health care professionals to help someone <18 [under 18] with medical care for gender transition.” Even with this arguably deceptive framing, nearly half of respondents (46%) said they would support such a ban.
Similarly, more Americans (44%) told Pew they would oppose requiring “health insurance companies to cover medical care for gender transitions” than would support it (27%).
From these responses, it seems likely that taxpayer funding for experimental transgender interventions would prove rather controversial.
As for the idea that transgender people are “more likely to serve in the U.S. military than cisgender people,” the claim appears to trace back to an analysis of the 2015 U.S. Transgender Survey. That survey, conducted by the National Center for Transgender Equality, found that “respondents served in the military at nearly twice the rate as the people in the U.S. population overall.” Since the proportion of the general population who identify as transgender is minuscule, this does not mean that a large proportion of veterans or service members is transgender or that the military would be handicapped without transgender recruits.
Two of the 162 House Democrats who signed the letter are running for U.S. Senate.
Allred is challenging Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, in the Lone Star State, which former President Donald Trump carried in 2016 and 2020. Cruz leads Allred by 5 points in the RealClearPolitics polling average.
“Day after day, Colin Allred shows Texas who he really is,” a spokesman for the Cruz campaign told The Daily Signal in a statement on the letter. “He is a radical who will destroy Texas and America. His record on transgender issues puts our children and families at risk.”
Gallego is running against Republican Kari Lake in Arizona, which is considered a key swing state. Gallego leads Lake by 7 points in the RealClearPolitics average.
“The fact that Ruben Gallego would try to hold up the National Defense Authorization Act to DEMAND that taxpayer money goes to sexual reassignment surgeries is a testament to how radical he truly is,” a spokesperson for Lake’s campaign told The Daily Signal in a statement Tuesday. “Gallego’s radicalism does tremendous harm to our military preparedness and puts our national security at risk.”
Eighteen House Democrats in races the Cook Political Report rates as “competitive” also signed the letter.
Reps. Yadira Caraveo, D-Colo., and Emilia Sykes, D-Ohio, are running in races Cook rates as “toss-ups.”
Eight Democrats in races Cook rates as “lean Democrat” also signed the letter: Reps. Jahana Hayes, D-Ct.; Eric Sorensen, D-Ill.; Frank Mrvan, D-Ind.; Angie Craig, D-Minn.; Susie Lee, D-Nev.; Pat Ryan, D-N.Y.; Andrea Salinas, D-Ore.; and Chris Deluzio, D-Pa.
Eight more Democrats in “likely Democrat” races also signed the letter: Reps. Mike Levin, D-Calif.; Darren Soto, D-Fla.; Sharice Davids, D-Kan.; Hillary Scholten, D-Mich.; Chris Pappas, D-N.H.; Dina Titus, D-Nev.; Steven Horsford, D-Nev.; and Greg Landsman, D-Ohio.
None of these Democrats responded to The Daily Signal’s request for comment by press time.

JUST IN: Georgia school sh**ter Colt Gray was “bullied for being gay” and “expressed frustration with the acceptance of transgender people.”
According to CNN, Gray’s Discord account discussed his frustration with the “acceptance of trans people.”
“The account referenced Adam Lanza, the Sandy Hook Elementary School sh**ter, and in separate posts shared a desire to target an elementary school and expressed frustration with the acceptance of transgender people,” CNN reported
Colin Gray, Colt’s father, reportedly told the Jackson County Sheriff’s office last year that his son was bullied at school for being gay.
“It was very difficult for him to go to school and not get picked on,” he said.
“It went from one thing to another… I was trying to get him on the golf team… [they were like] ‘Oh, look, Colt’s gay. He’s dating that guy. Just ridiculed him day after day after day.'”
During the same interview, Colin Gray said his son “gets flustered and under pressure” and “doesn’t really think straight.”
“He knows the seriousness of weapons and what they can do, and how to use them and not use them.”
They’ll report it as they are now, then it will be memory holed.

]]>This is all part of the pervert-the-youth movement that the communists and gays are pushing for the whole nation, not just Minnesota. They want the sex-crazed Queer Caucus to become a national refuge for children and teens who have been brainwashed into gayness by social media, so they will only think about sex, sex partners and sex-change operations and drugs 24/7/365, just like they (Queer Caucus lovers) do.
The main goal is to destroy the nuclear family and distract everyone from crooked politics that take away rights, freedoms, health, normal thoughts and self-esteem of the populace. It’s communism to the core, and the LGBTQ-Asexual-demi-pans-gray-cis-trans-non-binary-gender-“neutral” queers are running the drag show from the heart of Minnesota, and from sea to not-so-shiny sea. Will the Queer Caucus Pandemic spread across the country? Get ready for a new queer amendment to the constitution folks. This is not a joke.
Get ready for the Gender Affirming Rights Act (GARA) coming to a gender-fluid country where you reside. No more health care regulations against it, now the U.S. government (demented Liberals and Demoncrats) are making the gender-bender INSURRECTION a permanent fixture of laws, education and daycare centers nationwide. Sex ed for all, and one size fits all. Nothing’s inappropriate anymore, now that there’s no such thing as male or female, according to the groomer’s union of child mutilators and sex offenders.
The Deep State wants your children, and they are not only right up front about it, they are trying to make it the law that they control your kids’ gender, sex thoughts, sex education and complete and open “access” to sex change operations, sex “changing” drugs, SSRIs, and all without your permission. Parents, are you ready for this?
The Queer Caucus King, Tim Walz (Democrat VP choice), who has secretly (until now) traveled to Communist China to do “business,” wants to queer out the whole country while ushering in a new Nanny State plandemic, under the guise of Bird-Monkey-AIDS-Covid25-Syndrome. Better mask up and distance yourself. Best to stay indoors until this whole thing (full-blown Communism) blows over.
The Queer Caucus is already in full swing in America. The leader of the pack, the creepy cadaver known as Joe Biden, is still somehow president, terrorizing innocent children at every presser and rally, inappropriately touching little girls and boys, sniffing their hair, holding them while they try to escape him. Tim “Nazi” Walz of Minnesota has a saying for it, that goes, “One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.” In his book, people are property too. Kamilla the Hun Harris calls it “equitable” treatment.
LGBT-Queer lawmakers are forming the Minnesota Legislature’s first Queer Caucus to stop parents from interfering in their children’s choice to have their penises cut off, breasts removed and other heinous surgeries to the genitalia, in the name of “gender fluidity.”
They want the law on their side when they are “fending off” the community of normal people who don’t want their kids thinking and acting perverted and demented all day (even though they don’t respect the laws that prevent it). This goes for teen girls choosing late-term abortions and day-of-birth abortions also, which Tim “Nazi” Walz also supports.
No age is too low for gender-bender surgery and education, not even toddlers, according to the demented Biden Administration, with its new commie frontrunners. Check the facts on that. Tune your internet dial to Gender.news for updates on extreme liberals with hidden agendas trying to turn normal kids into gender-confused freaks for life. It’s just “weird.”

]]>With communism (rule by Obamala Harris and Dementia “child-hair-sniffing” Joe), comes complete tyrannical government dictatorship and control of the populace. This means reducing how many citizens maintain independence by owning valuable assets, like land, homes, guns, farms that produce “clean” food, small businesses, etc. It also means Big Pharma controlling all medicine, vaccines and of course, pesticide manufacturing, use and “FDA approvals.” Lastly, it means total mind control by Big Tech, Social Media, YouTube, Google and more. Keep the kids and teens from thinking about anything that really matters. That’s the ultimate agenda of the perverted, demented Democrat-run, CCP-style government.
Also, with communism being installed in America, comes the destruction of the nuclear family. This means pushing kids and teens to think that pansexuality, promiscuity, “gender fluidity” and having multiple sex partners is normal and should not be “discriminated against.” With this comes the “pansexual” (they’ll have sex with anything) predators and their naïve (or enslaved) participants. With this comes mass-illegal-immigration of criminals, orphans and lost children who get trafficked and prostituted for the “cause.”
The herbicide (weed killer) atrazine is shown in scientific studies to emasculate three-fourths of adult male frogs, turning a tenth of them into females, while wreaking havoc with the sex lives of most of the rest. Pesticide apologists admit atrazine is used by nearly half a million U.S. farmers for weed control for their corn, wheat, sorghum and sugar cane. Follow the gender fluid bouncing ball.
Yes folks, chemical castration is real. Atrazine herbicide is scientifically proven to chemically castrate male animals, meaning these animals lose the ability to reproduce in the wild, according to an in-depth study by University of California, Berkeley, biologists. Male frogs are literally missing testosterone and sperm. Others have fertility rates as low as 10 percent, and only when paired and isolated with females.
If you think frogs are the only animals affected in this way, think again. Over 80 MILLION POUNDS of atrazine are dumped on U.S. corn (and other staple crops) each year, and you can bet your whole pharma investment portfolio that it also contaminates nearby ground and surface water. Atrazine interferes with endocrine hormones, including estrogen and testosterone, in amphibians, fish, birds, reptiles, and humans (lab rats) across the country.
Add in more hormone-disrupting chemicals into the food, water and personal care products, including bisphenol-A, triclosan, DDT, lead and perfluorochemicals (PFAs), and you’ve got a whole country of gender-confused, social-media influenced, Big Government blinded millennials (and now their kids) with screwed up hormones. They’re just trying to “figure out” their own sexual identity, and they can’t stop thinking about gay sex partners 24/7/365. Now science is revealing that the Covid clot shots could be interfering with hormonal balance and causing anxiety and depression. If so, that’s going to exacerbate the grooming “revolution” the communists are pushing so hard for.
Tune your internet dial to Gender.news for updates on extreme liberals and the Communists in Washington DC, all with hidden agendas trying to turn normal kids into easily controlled, pharma-dependent, gender-confused freaks.
(Daily Signal)—Students in a Southern California school district could be forced to choose between rooming with a transgender-identifying student or missing out on an overnight school field trip.
If parents complain about their child rooming with a transgender-identifying student of the opposite biological sex, staff in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District listen to the parents’ concerns, then say that the child’s rooming assignment isn’t the parents’ choice, according to emails from 2021 and 2022 obtained by the Center for American Liberty and shared with The Daily Signal.
The only option for students who are uncomfortable staying in a room with transgender students is to opt out of the trip, Sarah Coley, the school district’s administrative director, said in an email to school district employees regarding a sixth-grade science trip.
“You would say to the students/parents, ‘If you have questions about the assignment, please feel free to discuss with me,’” Coley wrote in the email. “Then, if a parent says ‘hey, I don’t want my student with [who],’ you could provide an ear to listen and consider whether the student is a good fit, but the eventual response would be, ‘If you / your student is not comfortable with the rooming assignments and process of staying with other students in a room, then they can elect not to participate in this optional trip.’”
Coley’s email continues: “Parents and students do not get to pick, and saying I don’t want to stay with ‘Susie’ because ‘Susie isn’t a real girl,’ is no different than saying, ‘I don’t want to stay with Sara because Sara is [white/older/non-religious, etc.]’”
Coley, a 2018 graduate of California State University Long Beach, did not respond to The Daily Signal’s request for comment.
A mother who asked to remain anonymous due to concerns about threats to her family told The Daily Signal that parents should be able to assume their child is safe with school officials, but they can’t in the Newport-Mesa district. The mother said she chose to take her children out of the district and homeschool them a few years ago.
“You just have to assume that my child is not safe, which is really scary,” she said. “The school does not have your child’s best interest at heart. They are more concerned with social justice issues.”
Mark Trammell, executive director of the Center for American Liberty, the group that conducted the public records request, criticized what he called the Newport-Mesa school district’s inconsistency in using privacy rights to hide gender identity from parents while ignoring privacy rights in making rooming assignments.
“It is ironic that school districts cite a student’s right to privacy as justification for schools keeping secrets from parents, but completely disregard student privacy rights when forcing girls to room with a boy pretending to be a girl,” Trammell said in an email to The Daily Signal. “Either the right to privacy exists or it doesn’t; schools cannot selectively apply it when it advances their woke political narratives.”
Newport-Mesa is the same school district where a high school promoted an LGBTQ organization that helps minors find referrals for irreversible transgender surgeries and hormone regimens.
Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, California, has scannable QR codes in its hallways that take students to an “LGBTQ+ Resources” webpage, including a link to “LGBTQ Affirming Therapy.”
The high school took down its resource page after the publication of The Daily Signal’s report on Wednesday.
Coley also championed “Sexuality and Gender Galaxies” in emails to school district staff members that provide definitions of terms, including “two spirit,” “asexual,” “polysexual,” “clear platonic,” and “androgynous.”
According to the emails, Coley also is the point of contact for “Gender Support Plans,” which ask the person filling out such a form to indicate the level of support of a student’s parents for his or her gender identity. Students ages 12 and older may formulate gender support plans in the Newport-Mesa school district without parental knowledge or consent.
The district hides these Gender Support Plans in a “locked drawer in the admin’s office,” emails show.
In an email Thursday to The Daily Signal, the Newport-Mesa school district denied that it uses such support plans.
“We do not refer students for gender-affirming care nor do we have gender support plans without parental involvement,” public relations officer Annette Franco wrote in the email. “The student-driven resources are intended to complement the essential role that parents play in their children’s lives.”
In another email to district staff, Coley said students as young as 2 years old may be transgender, so the school district should use preferred pronouns for all ages—and respect the wishes of students of all ages to hide his or her gender identity from parents.
“The student’s age is not a factor,” Coley wrote in the email. “For example, children as early as age two are expressing a different gender identity.”
“It is strongly suggested that teachers privately ask transgender or gender nonconforming students at the beginning of the school year how they want to be addressed in class, in correspondence to the home, or at conferences with the student’s parents,” Coley wrote.
The administrator said that intentionally using a student’s given name and personal pronouns instead of their preferred ones qualifies as “harassment.”
“If a member of the school community intentionally uses a student’s incorrect name and pronoun, or persistently refuses to respect a student’s chosen name and pronouns, that conduct should be treated as harassment,” Coley said in the email. “That type of harassment can create a hostile learning environment, violate the transgender student’s privacy rights, and increase that student’s risk for harassment by other members of the school community.”
]]>The emails are part of a trove of documents that show how the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the country’s largest professional association of pediatricians with a membership of 67,000 doctors, quietly partnered with transgender activist groups, such as the Human Rights Campaign and the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH), to push child sex changes nationwide.
Internal AAP communications from July 2023 show members strategizing ways to provide sex change interventions to children living in states that have banned the procedures, including using telehealth to access hormones from out of state providers. Currently, 25 states have passed legislation banning or restricting pediatric sex change.
Through a public records request, the DCNF obtained the internal communications from members of the AAP’s Section on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Health and Wellness (SOLGBTHW), a group within the AAP that provides the organization with expertise and education on LGBT issues.
The AAP has multiple subgroups or “sections” within the organization that focus on different specialty areas of medicine to connect “like-minded professionals who share a pediatric subspecialty, surgical specialty, special area of interest, or stage of life.” The section on LGBT health requires an additional fee for AAP members to join. Health professionals who are not pediatricians, such as registered nurses, psychologists, and social workers, are also able to join the group as a section affiliate.
In a July 2023 email thread Dr. Patricia Wells, an AAP Fellow and part of the LGBT health section email group, drew attention to a federal court ruling that allowed Tennessee’s ban on child sex changes to take effect, calling it a “huge setback.” Wells requested help from her colleagues to “circumvent” the Tennessee ban, suggesting telehealth as a possible option to deliver medical interventions to minors.
“Question for this group: Can we coordinate care to offer Telehealth to kids sick in ban-states?” Wells wrote. “I would love a breakdown of what states still allow Telehealth into their states, and if that could circumvent the [Tennessee] ban.”
“We have had calls from frantic parents in other states, ie Indiana [sic], to see if they can establish care with us,” Wells wrote to the group. “If you are in one of the ban states and need help caring for you patients, please let me know what I can do. I would love for this group to strategize to provide care to ban-states on their borders.”
It’s unclear if any action was taken to circumvent Tennessee or other red state’s bans on child sex changes. Wells did not respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment.
Tennessee State Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson, who sponsored the legislation that banned pediatric sex changes, told the DCNF the law specifically prohibits using telehealth to provide minors with sex change medical interventions.
“Our law clearly states that prescribing medications or procedures for the purpose of treating gender dysphoria in minor children is prohibited, including via telehealth. Any doctor attempting to use general telehealth services to circumvent this law is violating the legislature’s clear intent,” Johnson said in a statement.
The Supreme Court recently announced it will hear a case challenging Tennessee’s child sex change ban. The AAP, with the support of WPATH submitted an amicus brief in December 2023 in support of overturning the state’s child sex change ban. For years, AAP has quietly partnered with WPATH to fight back against child sex change bans, the DCNF reported.
“I am extremely proud of the work we have done to protect children from the long-term, irreversible and damaging effects of these medical practices. I am grateful the Supreme Court will be taking up our law soon and remain hopeful they will provide further and unequivocal legal clarity to the situation,” Johnson said.
Dr. Jean Wagner, an AAP Fellow and member of the LGBT health section, responded to Wells’ email hours later, noting that Planned Parenthood of Illinois might be able to “prescribe/manage” cross-sex hormones for kids via telehealth.
“We have had to look elsewhere for our kids who are ready to take the step of starting hormones,” Wagner wrote. “We have a Planned Parenthood near us in Fairview Heights, IL. They will prescribe/manage the hormones and I believe they do Telehealth for kids over 16.”
Transgender hormone therapy is available at Planned Parenthood Illinois via telehealth for individuals 16 and over, per their website, which states their “doors are open to everyone – regardless of your zip code.”
Planned Parenthood Illinois has experienced explosive growth in their transgender services category, increasing from 3,299 transgender visits in 2020 to 6842 visits in 2022, according to their annual reports. The group’s 2022 report said cross sex hormone therapy was “growing faster than any other service.” Planned Parenthood of Illinois received nearly $150,000 in state insurance payments for transgender services in 2022, records obtained by the DCNF via a public records requests show.
Neither Wagner nor Planned Parenthood Illinois responded to the DCNF’s requests for comment.
Dr. Christopher Harris, who served as AAP’s LGBT health and wellness chair in 2021, chimed in on the July 2023 email thread, cautioning the group against taking any actions before consulting AAP’s legal advisors.
“Hi All, I love this activism from Section members,” Harris wrote. “However, given the political climate, is this discussion at all risky? Is DOING this risky? Should we check with AAP’s legal advisors?”
In a separate email thread, AAP State Government Affairs Analyst Sarah Khan sent the LGBT health section a list of states where child sex changes were banned. Khan’s June 2023 email to the section’s executive committee included a chart listing the effective dates of various state bans and the status legal challenges to them.
“I wanted to follow-up on last week’s SOLGBTHW EC meeting where there was group interest in having a chart that shows the enactment/effective dates of the anti-GAG legislation in the country,” Khan wrote. “I hope this is a helpful tool for you all as we continue to track the states with anti-GAC legislation.”
Neither Khan nor Harris responded to the DCNF’s request for comment.
‘Ideological Gender Beliefs’
Khan sent another email in July 2023 with the subject line “Fight to Protect GAC,” where she reported the “very positive news” of judicial rulings that impeded the implementation of child sex change bans. Khan thanked the AAP section members for their “continued dedication to this fight.”
GAC refers to “gender-affirming care,” a euphemism often used by activists and doctors to describe experimental treatments such as puberty blockers, cross sex hormones and sex change surgeries.
“I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for your continued dedication to this fight. It is extremely heartening to see the hard work and advocacy result in some victories. We are hopeful for many more decisions such as these as we continue our work,” Khan wrote.
The AAP’s LGBT health section is credited with authoring the organization’s controversial transgender policy, which supports the use of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and sex-change surgeries for minors. Reaffirmed in 2023, the AAP’s transgender policy notably excludes age minimums for drug or surgical interventions. Indeed, recently-unsealed court documents suggest AAP pressured WPATH to exclude age minimums on sex changes in its clinical guidance, The New York Times reported.
The Cass Review, an independent report which reviewed the evidence supporting pediatric sex change, found that the WPATH Standards of Care underpinned almost all other guidelines in the field of transgender medicine despite their lack of “rigour.”
“[WPATH] has been highly influential in directing international practice, although its guidelines were found by the University of York appraisal process to lack developmental rigour,” the Cass Review found. “Early versions of two international guidelines… influenced nearly all the other guidelines.”
Several European countries have discontinued child sex changes in the wake of the Cass Review, but neither AAP nor WPATH have retracted their support of such procedures.
Moreover, a lawsuit filed by detransitioner Isabelle M. Ayala against the AAP questions the credibility of their transgender policy, specifically mentioning the role of the Section on LGBT Health and Wellness in the policy’s development, stating “ideological beliefs related to gender identity and gender theory” were core to the groups inception.
“A small number of individuals in positions of power within the AAP who were deeply bought into certain political and ideological beliefs related to gender identity and gender theory, saw a void of guidance for primary care physicians,” the lawsuit reads. “Upon information and belief, in 2016 those individuals formed a committee within the AAP—the “LGBT Health & Wellness” (the “Committee”)—to seize on an opportunity to lead out on this issue, be the first to offer what they saw as authoritative guidance, and ensure that that guidance aligned with their ideological gender beliefs.”
“Upon information and belief, the Committee quickly set about on a roughly two-year process to create a new ‘Policy Statement’ to be published by the AAP based on those individuals’ ideological views and introducing a radical new model for transgender and ‘gender diverse children and adolescents,” the lawsuit reads.
Dr. Brittany Allen, a named defendant in the Ayala lawsuit, is an executive committee member of AAP’s LGBT health section co-author of the AAP’s transgender policy. Allen is also the medical director of a pediatric transgender clinic in Wisconsin, which borders Iowa where child sex changes were banned in 2023.
On June 21, 2023, AAP leadership asked Allen if state pediatric sex change bans were causing an influx of patients in non-ban states, such as Wisconsin, emails obtained by the DCNF show. The next day, Allen responded this was “100% an issue and a concern” and wrote she’d been advised not to provide medical interventions remotely in Iowa as telehealth options were limited by state law.
“I would say that this is 100% an issue and a concern. Even though I’m not in a shield state, we are one of the closest clinics to Iowa,” wrote Allen, who did not respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment.
“Nursing care in [Iowa] law includes telephone care, so we’re currently being advised not to provide care (like questions about medication, etc. over the phone)… which makes providing actual healthcare really tough, especially at a distance,” wrote Allen.
Allen didn’t respond to multiple requests for comment.

]]>Members of the American College of Pediatricians, also known as ACPeds, and other medical professionals will announce their signing of the “Doctors Protecting Children Declaration” on Thursday during a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, The Daily Signal has learned.
“As physicians, nurses, other health professionals, psychotherapists, and behavioral health clinicians, scientists, researchers, and public health and policy professionals, we have serious concerns about the physical and mental health effects of the current protocols promoted for the care of children and adolescents in the United States who express discomfort with their biological sex,” the declaration states.
It is co-signed by medical and health organizations including the Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine, Genspect, the American College of Family Medicine, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, the Catholic Medical Association, and many individual doctors, pediatricians, and nurses.
The document emphasizes that most children and adults whose “thoughts and feelings do not align with their biological sex will resolve those mental incongruencies after experiencing the normal developmental process of puberty.”
It also notes that the young children who are going through attempted “gender-transition” procedures cannot really give “responsible informed consent” due to the “extremely limited long-term follow-up studies of interventions, and the immature, often impulsive, nature of the adolescent brain.”
Notably, the declaration points out that the many ”gender clinics” in the U.S. are basing their transgender protocols on the “Standards of Care” developed by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, or WPATH, which was recently exposed for hiding the dangerous and experimental nature of these procedures. The declaration points out that the very foundation of WPATH’s guidelines is “demonstrably flawed, and pediatric patients can be harmed when subjected to those protocols.”
The declaration also highlights the very serious long-term risks of so-called gender-affirming care, including when doctors or medical professionals ”socially transition” children (by referring to kids with pronouns or names that don’t match their biological sex), put them on puberty blockers, prescribe them masculinizing or feminizing hormones such as testosterone or estrogen, or perform irreversible ”sex change” procedures.
Sterility is just one of these long-term risks.
Social affirmations make youth more likely to progress on to puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, the declaration states.
Puberty blockers “permanently disrupt physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development” and can worsen psychological illness, cause low bone density, impair memory, lead to brain swelling, and more.
Cross sex-hormones, such as testosterone for girls and estrogen for boys, are “associated with dangerous health risks across the lifespan including, but not limited to, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, heart attacks, blood clots, stroke, diabetes, and cancer,” the declaration continues.
And genital surgeries, perhaps most obviously, affect “future fertility and reproduction.”
“Evidence-based medical research now demonstrates there is little to no benefit from any or all suggested ‘gender affirming’ interventions for adolescents experiencing gender dysphoria,” the document says. “Social ‘affirmation,’ puberty blockers, masculinizing or feminizing hormones, and surgeries, individually or in combination, do not appear to improve long-term mental health of the adolescents, including suicide risk.”
The document also emphasizes that European countries like England, Scotland, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland have all paused such protocols given the evidence demonstrating that social, hormonal, and surgical interventions are “not only unhelpful but are harmful.”
Yet professional medical organizations in the U.S. continue to promote these interventions and call legislation protecting children from so-called transgender procedures “dangerous.”
The signers call upon top medical organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Psychological Association, and others to “follow the science and their European professional colleagues and immediately stop the promotion of social affirmation, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries for children and adolescents who experience distress over their biological sex.”
“Instead,” the declaration says, “these organizations should recommend comprehensive evaluations and therapies aimed at identifying and addressing underlying psychological comorbidities and neurodiversity that often predispose to and accompany gender dysphoria. We also encourage the physicians who are members of these professional organizations to contact their leadership and urge them to adhere to the evidence-based research now available.”
]]>According to Showalter, his first encounter with the world of transgenderism was in 2016. At that time, Showalter says he was “thrown into” the subject because of the meteoric rise of “gender clinics” in the United States, which he says do “atrocious” things to children.
Subjecting children to puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones will “almost certainly render a child [permanently] sterile,” Showalter explained.
“Since when did it become ethical to sterilize a child, especially when there’s no disease like cancer, where … you might lose your fertility because you’ve got drugs for chemo and radiation?”
“Gender confusion … [is] a psychological condition that does not warrant a hormonal or surgical intervention. So it’s a disgraceful practice. It should never happen in my opinion.”
Listen to the full episode below:
What bothers Showalter the most are the “gruesome” surgeries that children go through in order to become another gender. Boys and girls are getting their genitals cut off and sometimes replaced with fake genitals to match their desired “transition.”
The process is not only gruesome but also expensive with taxpayers footing much of the bill, all because of the “ideological indoctrination” that Showalter says children are being exposed to at school and in the media.
“This is neo-Gnosticism on steroids, literally,” Showalter said about these deceived children’s efforts to become their “authentic self.”
“And it’s happening to young people, very young people, including teenagers as young as 13 or 14 years old,” he added.
In order to successfully reconstruct fake genitals for transgenders, body butchers must harvest and remove tissue from elsewhere on these children’s bodies, including from the abdomen and forearm.
These “Frankenstein surgeries,” as Showalter calls them, are rough approximations and do not even serve a functional purpose once complete.
“This is intentionally damaging the body in pursuit of a physiological impossibility. This is surgery in pursuit of a lie,” Showalter warns.
“A surgery should never be done to remove a physically healthy body part. Medical ethics is just dead as a doornail, in my opinion, that this would be something doctors or surgeons would ever do.”
Christians everywhere, Showalter says, need to be praying every day for divine deliverance from this societal curse.
“There are stories in Scripture where all hope seems lost and that we’re up against seemingly insurmountable odds,” Showalter said. “But God then shows up, and He uses a remnant of people.”
“If we pray, and if we set our faces like flint, and we believe that God is for us and not against us … and that He loves the little children … [Jesus] has very harsh words for those who harm them … If we pray, I believe we will see this wickedness dismantled in the realm of the spirit.”
Any additional action beyond prayer is between a person and God, Showalter added, encouraging people to do what they feel they are led to do without having to be told from someone else what to do.
“I pray and ask God the Father to comfort any and all children who are suffering with loneliness and confusion right now at this moment,” one person prayed in the comment section.
“That they would feel and know the personal touch of you, Jesus, for you are the only one who can justify any one of us. That they would be cocooned in a warm blanket of your love. Put safe people in their space. To know they are not alone.”

]]>The Biden-appointed judge who wrote this absurd decision repeatedly used the propaganda term “sex assigned at birth,” as if sex were arbitrary and merely “assigned” to a newborn. On the contrary, biological science teaches that sex is determined long prior to birth, and does not change.
The transgender issue is boiling over in the courts. The U.S. Supreme Court, after earlier dodging this same transgender case and at least two others, sat on an emergency application by Idaho for an unusually long time of nearly two months before rendering a decision Monday that ducked the substance of a conservative Idaho law.
Two dozen states, including Idaho, have enacted laws protecting children against transgender operations and treatment, while the Supreme Court sidesteps the issue. Most of these laws have been challenged in federal courts by groups pushing the trans agenda, and the day after last Christmas a Clinton-appointed judge ordered a sweeping injunction blocking enforcement of Idaho HB 71.
But rather than affirm the authority of states to protect vulnerable children against irrevocable medical interventions, the Supreme Court instead rendered merely a procedural decision that cautioned against overly broad injunctions. In splintered opinions that Chief Justice Roberts refused to join, the high court reined in the Idaho federal district court without addressing the substance of the law.
There are billions of dollars at stake in profits from medical interventions for transgender purposes, and anyone in higher education who criticizes this lucrative field would risk losing career opportunities. By a wide margin, the most pro-transgender jurisdiction in our country is Washington, D.C., which might explain why the GOP-controlled House and Supreme Court have been so weak on this issue.
Three years ago Arkansas was the first state to ban transgender procedures on children, yet federal courts have still not allowed its good law to take effect. In an en banc sitting of 10 judges on the 8th Circuit last Thursday to review this law, nearly all of the Republican-appointed judges were unwilling to ask substantive questions of the ACLU attorney for the transgender plaintiff.
With Republican-appointed judges silent as though on the sidelines, the questioning was dominated by the court’s most liberal member, Obama-appointed Judge Jane Kelly, who apparently thinks the Arkansas law somehow discriminates on the basis of sex. Such a ruling by the court would trigger the difficult-to-satisfy standard of heightened scrutiny, by which legislation is typically invalidated.
Leftists who deny sex differences try to invalidate laws they don’t like by concocting arguments that they are discriminatory. Meanwhile the transgender culture holds a grip on D.C., and on most federal courts which depend on liberal law schools for their clerks.
On Friday, the Democrat governor of Kansas vetoed a bill protecting minors against transgender treatments and surgeries, even though a similar bill has passed in half of our country, overriding a governor’s veto in four states. Laws enacted in Kentucky and Tennessee were upheld by an appellate court, while a similar law in Alabama was reinstated by a different appellate court because the district court applied an incorrect standard to block it.
Republicans have a veto-proof majority in the Kansas state Senate, but the vote will be close in its state House. The outcome may depend on which legislators happen to be in attendance on the day that an override vote is held there.
Trump held a spectacular rally on Saturday evening in northeast Pennsylvania, considered by Biden to be his backyard where he grew up. There is even a President Biden Expressway in nearby Scranton, although a petition to restore the highway’s original name has attracted 17,000 signatures.
Trump attracted a vast overflow crowd on the chilly evening, withstanding a blustery wind that created challenges for Trump’s airplane to land there. Trump scored many points talking about energy, explaining how Biden’s war on coal and oil have caused runaway inflation and hurt many in Pennsylvania.
Trump courageously spoke out against the trans agenda and vowed to cut off funding of schools that impose transgender indoctrination on students. Trump included the trans agenda along with critical race theory as propaganda the federal government should not be funding.
Trump is the first major candidate to pledge to defund schools that mislead our children with transgender and other leftist ideologies. It is increasingly necessary to use the power of the purse to stop the transgender train.
