Walmart is the biggest supermarket in the United States. According to the official tracking metrics of Walmart’s income levels, the annual revenue of this superstore chain is just over 611 billion dollars.

So why is Walmart closing its stores? Walmart is facing multiple closures and besides the stores Walmart closed in 2023, a dozen more stores had been considered one of the few lifelines for many communities across the United States.

They are actually beginning to close these lifelines. Patriots, it’s time to stock up and buckle down. We, the American People, have been thrown under the bus, stepped on by our elected representatives, and sold out. We’re about to face a retail apocalypse like we’ve never seen before, so get ready.

First Costco, Now Walmart? Major Retailers Now Offer Gold Bars https://americanconservativemovement.com/first-costco-now-walmart-major-retailers-now-offer-gold-bars/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/first-costco-now-walmart-major-retailers-now-offer-gold-bars/#respond Fri, 29 Dec 2023 01:02:45 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=199839 (Zero Hedge)—X users report that Walmart is the latest major retailer to offer a variety of gold products in its online store. This comes several months after membership-based wholesale retailer Costco began selling 1 oz. gold bars.

“Walmart is selling gold and silver. Are you awake yet? This is a financial change,” one X user said.

https://twitter.com/hustlewithRich/status/1738531338540535837

Another X user said: “First Costco, Now Walmart.”

Here’s what others are saying:

Walmart appears to be getting on the precious metals action following Costco CFO Richard Galanti’s comments earlier this month about incredible gold bar demand among consumers:

“You’ve probably read about the fact that we’re selling one-ounce gold bars. We sold over $100 million of gold during the quarter.”

Galanti continued:

“When we load them [gold bars] on the site, they’re typically gone within a few hours.”

Costco’s and Walmart’s gold rush comes as gold prices have soared 14% since early October to a new record high of $2,088 this week. Gold’s strength has been underpinned by traders’ aggressive pricing of Federal Reserve rate cuts.

Woke Walmart Pulls Ads From Twitter While Continuing to Promote Heinous Acts Against Children https://americanconservativemovement.com/woke-walmart-pulls-ads-from-twitter-while-continuing-to-promote-heinous-acts-against-children/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/woke-walmart-pulls-ads-from-twitter-while-continuing-to-promote-heinous-acts-against-children/#comments Fri, 01 Dec 2023 20:40:19 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=198939 Retail juggernaut Walmart has joined Disney and other woke companies in pulling the ads from Twitter over Elon Musk’s posts. But like all the other woke companies trying to punish the billionaire, they have no problem advertising on platforms that are truly trying to destroy America.

Robbie Starbuck posted some quick facts about the company and the heinous acts they promote against children. As he noted on Twitter:

Walmart has pulled all advertising from X. We’re witnessing a full scale hit job to blackmail @elonmusk. Now’s a good time for everyone to share and get familiar with what these companies support. Did you know Walmart gives big $ to groups supporting sex changes for kids? Oh and @Walmart has a perfect corporate equality index (CEI) score which requires you to support all gender transitions.

Additionally, the Walton family that became billionaires off of Walmart have helped fund drag shows for kids. I bet a lot of red state Walmart shoppers aren’t aware of that. It’s a bold move to attack the free speech platform your top customer demographic uses right before Christmas. Time to spread the word!

Once again, freedom-loving patriots need to make some hard choices. Are we willing to support companies that oppose the God-given freedoms we strive to protect? I haven’t shopped at Walmart in over a decade but if I could boycott them even more, I would.

Middle Class Can’t Afford Walmart Prices as Massive Increases Hit Stores https://americanconservativemovement.com/middle-class-cant-afford-walmart-prices-as-massive-increases-hit-stores/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/middle-class-cant-afford-walmart-prices-as-massive-increases-hit-stores/#respond Mon, 10 Jul 2023 07:38:54 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=194591 Walmart prices are rising at a brisk pace in 2023. While consumers are seeing the cost of everyday essentials go through the roof, the company’s executives say that food inflation is likely to persist for much longer than expected, At the same time, the retail giant’s profits are reaching new records But the vast majority of Americans haven’t seen their incomes rising accordingly, and that’s especially true for middle-income households.

Right now, middle-class workers are coping with the highest cost of living in decades, and many of them can no longer afford to shop at Walmart and are flocking to discount stores instead. In fact, the chain’s CEO Doug McMillion revealed that 75% of Walmart’s new customers are upper-income Americans, who make over $100,000 a year. That indicates there’s something extremely wrong with the American middle class right now.

This group is known worldwide for its purchasing power and economic strength, and for years, it actively contributed to the growth of the megaretailer. The most notable revelation comes from a new study that exposes Walmart has everything to do with the decline of the US middle class.

Despite reporting a 7.33% profit growth. the world’s biggest retailer is warning about weaker sales volume for the rest of 2023 and shared a gloomy forecast last month, noting that abnormally high food inflation is likely to drive away low and middle-income shoppers from its stores. According to an analysis by GOBankingRates, over the past 12 months, grocery prices have risen at Walmart stores by an average of 27.2%. The biggest increases happened in the meat category, followed by produce, and dry goods.

During the past three quarters, most of Walmart’s growth in the grocery segment was fueled by customers with annual household incomes higher than $100,000 the company’s chief financial officer John David Rainey told CNBC.

Meanwhile, inflation has prompted middle-class shoppers to rethink their consumption strategies. Over the past couple of years, many Americans started to feel substantially poorer whenever they shop for groceries or hit the gas pump. Data released by the Pew Research Center shows that 71% of middle-class workers say their incomes aren’t keeping up with the rising cost of living, and now these consumers are currently looking for value to save money.

The Wall Street Journal reported that average spending on grocery products at discount chains increased 71% from Oct. 2022 to June 2023. The survey also revealed that dollar store sales went up by 14% in the past quarter.

The truth is that this company we’ve grown to love has done a lot to destroy the American middle class. “Walmart’s history is the story of what has gone wrong in the American economy. Wages have stagnated. The middle class has shrunk. The ranks of the working poor have swelled. Whatever we may have saved shopping at Walmart, we’ve more than paid for it in diminished opportunities and declining income,” Mitchell stresses.

At this point, it’s clear that this group is losing access to the empire they helped to create. In many ways, Walmart’s ascension led to the collapse of the US middle class, and as the retailer attracts shoppers with a lot more money to spend, they no longer seem to care about the needs of everyday Americans, who are still the backbone of our entire economy.

Walmart Is Falling Apart Before Our Eyes as Multiple Store Closings Begin https://americanconservativemovement.com/walmart-is-falling-apart-before-our-eyes-as-multiple-store-closings-begin/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/walmart-is-falling-apart-before-our-eyes-as-multiple-store-closings-begin/#comments Fri, 28 Apr 2023 10:52:59 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=192123 As it turns out, Walmart is facing challenges bigger than anyone thought. A second round of store closings was just announced, and the company is saying that half of its stores in one major U.S. city will be permanently shut down because they are losing tens of millions of dollars every year. Many locations are underperforming right now as shoppers complain about double-digit price increases at Walmart and turn to other retailers for “greater” value. The big-box retail chain is also in a complicated financial condition, missing investors’ earnings expectations and reporting growing cash flow problems. The situation has become so alarming that one industry CEO is warning about a flood of bankruptcies in the sector in 2023 as America’s biggest retailers cope with an increasing amount of distress.

Shoppers are noticing that prices at the big-box retailer have continued to rise in 2023 despite inflation numbers cooling down. For several quarters now, Walmart is losing sales and losing shoppers. As previously reported by GOBankingRates, a study from the value investing site ValueWalk found that Walmart grocery prices climbed by 21.5% over the past 12 months.

According to Walmart CFO John David Rainey, shoppers will have to prepare themselves for another year of price increases. In an interview with Reuters, the executive said the world’s biggest retailer might still have to raise prices to deal with higher costs. “We’re assuming that this year is going to be somewhat anomalous… [We’re] still feeling the effects of higher prices,” Rainey said.

However, this may further squeeze the company’s bottom line as more and more customers turn to discount stores. The outlook for Walmart in 2023 has suffered a drastic shift. In January, executives seemed to believe in the retailer’s ability to recoup its 2022 losses and report strong sales growth this year. But those views were shaken, and this week, the big-box store chain just announced another round of closings, citing poor financial performance at several locations.

The stores affected this time are located in DC, Georgia, Florida, Hawaii, Indiana, New Mexico, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin. The retailer confirmed it will lay off thousands of store employees and hundreds of hundreds of workers at five fulfillment centers across the US.

More worryingly, Walmart is permanently shuttering half of its stores in the city of Chicago. “The simplest explanation is that collectively our Chicago stores have not been profitable since we opened the first one nearly 17 years ago – these stores lose tens of millions of dollars a year, and their annual losses nearly doubled in just the last five years,” it revealed.

Walmart’s troubles should alarm everyone in the industry. According to CNBC, due to its massive size and substantial market share, Walmart is considered a barometer for the nation’s economy as a whole. So any trends we’re seeing in Walmart will likely be reflected in your local grocery store as well.

Everything is falling apart faster than anyone predicted, and even the biggest chains are struggling to survive in such a difficult environment. If the biggest retailer in the world is coping with this many challenges, smaller companies will likely experience even more serious problems this year. The retail apocalypse spares no one, and the next chapters of this crisis will chill many people to the core.

Walmart and Cancel Culture Hit MyPillow: Mike Lindell Needs Your Help https://americanconservativemovement.com/walmart-and-cancel-culture-hit-mypillow-mike-lindell-needs-your-help/ https://americanconservativemovement.com/walmart-and-cancel-culture-hit-mypillow-mike-lindell-needs-your-help/#respond Fri, 17 Jun 2022 22:39:53 +0000 https://americanconservativemovement.com/?p=173502 In all my years in advertising before coming over to the world of politics, I never worked with very many companies who were newsworthy. Now that we have MyPillow as a sponsor, is seems like every other week there’s a story about them and their patriotic founder, Mike Lindell.

Today is no exception. Retain giant Walmart recently dumped MyPillow, removing a lucrative and ubiquitous source of sales for the company. According to biased report from “news” outlet The Hill:

Walmart said it pulled MyPillow products from its stores as the pillow company’s founder and CEO Mike Lindell continues to falsely claim the 2020 presidential election was rigged against former President Trump.

A Walmart spokesperson confirmed the products’ removal after Lindell posted a series of live videos on his Facebook page in which he talked about the decision in interviews with conservative podcasters.

“While we are no longer carrying them in stores, MyPillow products continue to be available on Walmart.com,” a Walmart spokesperson told The Hill.

In a livestream Lindell posted on Thursday of him speaking with Steve Bannon for an episode of “Bannon’s War Room,” the MyPillow CEO said the removal would be a “$10 million hit” to his company.

Needless to say, we believe the 2020 presidential election was rigged, just as Lindell believes. It’s why we will always stand by him and his company, and we’re asking our readers to do the same. Visit MyPillow.com and pick up some slippers, a dog bed, towels, or any number of high-quality products. Using promo code “JDR” will get you the maximum discount possible.

Can you help Mike today?
