I’ve done it myself in the past, then looked back and been ashamed. It’s very easy to do especially if you’re caught up in a political debate.

In many ways they feed off of us. If not by slowly moving us, by reacting. In many ways both “sides” make one another into what they are. It becomes a baseless chain reaction.

Lessons learned. But that’s why it is very important to stay grounded in God’s word, and when possible let it do the talking. If we do that, then we won’t be moved because it cannot be moved. It will condemn homosexuality and transvestism for all time eternal. It will never change, just as God will never change.

No doubt they are masters at manipulating language, and at manipulating people. The reality is there’s no such thing as “trans” because it is impossible for one to transition to the opposite sex. The reality is there’s no such thing as “gender” separate from sex. The only reason the english-speaking world has ever used the word gender is to avoid using the word sex, because the word sex has other meanings and in many contexts can have a more dirty connotation. “Gender” has always meant the same thing as “sex” – male or female.

The language is no doubt a trap. If you’re not extremely careful, you’ll end up endorsing their false preconditions, baseless assumptions, and wild theories as fact, without even realizing what you’re doing.
