Jeremy Bash, a former Chief of Staff at the CIA and current national security analyst for NBC News and MSNBC, was among those who played a key role in misleading the American public during a critical election period. The letter was widely cited by media outlets to dismiss the Hunter Biden laptop story. The timing of the news is particularly concerning as Dana Bash prepares to moderate the crucial debate between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden.
