No, Clarence Thomas, the answer to Big Tech censorship is not government regulations

Censorship and de-platforming are serious concerns for conservatives, after thousands of voices on the right have been kicked off of Big Tech platforms. Even President Trump has been banned virtually everywhere. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas suggested that the answer to this problem is governmental regulations. This could not be further from the truth and will only make things worse.

The 2020 Election showed us just how much power Big Tech and Social Media have. Not only can they use their algorithms to divide our nation into echo chambers and limit what news… I mean, propaganda, we see, but they also have the ability to censor and de-platform anybody who does not hold to the mainstream narrative as put forth by the Democrat Party.

When we talk about rigging the 2020 Election, a huge contributing factor was the disinformation and propaganda pushed and promoted by companies like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Obviously, the natural result is to want to make sure that never happens again and the easiest solution in many people’s minds is to have the government step in and establish regulations that restrict their ability to fix any future elections.

This is exactly what Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is referring to when he posed the idea of having government regulations established and forced on these Silicon Valley tech companies. The problem is that this is exactly what Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey want. During their Senate hearings last year, they made it clear that they welcomed government oversight and regulation into their industry. Why would they want this?

Government regulations consistently are a hardship only on small startups and mom-and-pop shops. We saw this played out for all to see with the extreme restrictions and regulations in California in response to the COVID-19 “pandemic.” Countless small businesses closed permanently due to the extreme measures being taken. Only the big companies that could absorb the insane new costs in doing business could continue to stay open. Essentially, it eliminated the competition for these big corporations.

The same thing will happen in the tech world if the government steps in. New regulations will restrict the ability for startups to innovate and come up with free market solutions to the censorship of Google, Amazon, Facebook and Twitter.

The reason we find ourselves in the mess that we are in today is not because of a lack of rules and regulations from the government, but because conservatives refused to innovate and create superior alternatives to Silicon Valley. Instead, we relied on them to the point where we had no other options than these Leftist Social Justice Warrior companies. Then they pulled the rug out from under us during the 2020 Election and everyone acts shocked that this happened.

Moving forward, we must innovate. We must protect ourselves and the freedom that has made America great for the past few centuries. Stop relying on Leftist companies. Spend your time and money supporting pro-America and Conservative companies. If there’s not a company worthy of your support, maybe it’s time to start one. That’s the American way.

Will America-First News Outlets Make it to 2023?

Things are looking grim for conservative and populist news sites.

There’s something happening behind the scenes at several popular conservative news outlets. 2021 was bad, but 2022 is proving to be disastrous for news sites that aren’t “playing ball” with the corporate media narrative. It’s being said that advertisers are cracking down, forcing some of the biggest ad networks like Google and Yahoo to pull their inventory from conservative outlets. This has had two major effects. First, it has cooled most conservative outlets from discussing “taboo” topics like Pandemic Panic Theater, voter fraud, or The Great Reset. Second, it has isolated those ad networks that aren’t playing ball.

Certain topics are anathema for most ad networks. Speaking out against vaccines or vaccine mandates is a certain path to being demonetized. Highlighting voter fraud in the 2020 and future elections is another instant advertising death penalty. Throw in truthful stories about climate change hysteria, Critical Race Theory, and the border crisis and it’s easy to understand how difficult it is for America-First news outlets to spread the facts, share conservative opinions, and still pay the bills.

Without naming names, I have been told of several news outlets who have been forced to either consolidate with larger organizations or who have backed down on covering certain topics out of fear of being “canceled” by the ad networks. I get it. This is a business for many of us and it’s not very profitable. Those of us who do this for a living are often barely squeaking by, so loss of additional revenue can often mean being forced to make cuts. That means not being able to cover the topics properly. Its a Catch-22: Tell the truth and lose the money necessary to keep telling the truth, or avoid the truth and make enough money to survive. Those who have chosen survival simply aren’t able to spread the truth properly.

We will never avoid the truth. The Lord will provide if it is His will. Our job is simply to share the facts, spread the Gospel, and educate as many Americans as possible while exposing the forces of evil.

To those who have the means, we ask that you please donate. We have options available now, but there is no telling when those options will cancel us. We just launched a new GiveSendGo page. We also have our GivingFuel page. There have been many who have been canceled by PayPal, but for now it’s still an option. Your generosity is what keeps these sites running and allows us to get the truth to the masses. We’ve had great success in growing but we know we can do more with your assistance.

Thank you, and God Bless!
